The view is amazing! I had a wonderful time here. The bartender was great! The drinks were good too :)By the time I got there (~10:45pm) the kitchen was closed, so do keep that in mind if you want something to eat while you drink.

My brief stay became truly memorable with a visit to the 5 oClock Somewhere Bar. The charcuterie board was a work of art, with each selection thoughtfully paired with a rich, velvety Pinot Noir. The staffs warmth and attentiveness enhanced the experience, making me feel like a valued guest. Went on a Saturday night. Vibe was fun, good music and awesome views of the city. Had some trouble getting to the correct floor but then the staff found the correct fob to get us to the bar. Getting drinks took forever with only 2 bartenders but the drinks were excellent. 1/4 of the outside was reserved so impossible to get a seat but overall a good time.

Well Im afraid of heights, so I was uncomfortable lol. But my wife loved it. The margaritas was amazing ! My second one didnt have the salt around the rim, but thats a small mishap. Our sliders were surprisingly great ! But the music was a bit loud, even though well selected. We couldnt hear ourselves to talk, nore hear the server, had to go out on the veranda to communicate. Overall great experience.

Great spot for a rooftop view if you are new to town or have some people visiting. Food was meh. Not bad, just meh. Drinks were good and not horribly priced as Manhattan can sometimes be. It was pretty busy, but we were able to snag an outdoor sofa pretty quickly.

Came here for apps and drinks. Its definitely a place you come for the rooftop views and the brand. Drinks are fine, apps were mediocre and lacked flavor (had steak skewers, samosas, quesadillas, Mac and cheese balls). The views from the rooftop were really nice. Where we were overlooked Times Square and below midtown. Theres a perfect view of the New Years Ball. Staff was really nice, but wouldnt come here for an actual meal.

We couldn’t have wished for a better spot to celebrate our birthdays. Nothing can beat the chill atmosphere and stunning views - almost hard to believe you’re right in the busiest area of the city! We had such a good time, enjoying the drinks and bites, everything was just perfectly matching the vibe. The service was stellar!Six stars out of five ☺️

I never write reviews, but the man who checked my ID here last night at around 10pm, made me feel incredibly uncomfortable. Was unnecessarily rude, made weird comments about my relationship and friends I was with when asked what I was doing in New York. Wanted to leave a review since I don’t want him to treat other people like that.

I guess its better to come early or book (if possible) ahead of time, else its tough to find a seat and enjoy the view. The place is fancy, thus the price of the cocktails.

Great location. Awful service. Sat with empty drinks for 2 hours. Got up to take a picture, the server, who I had not seen in an hour, came running over to tell me I couldnt leave without paying. He forgot to put our food order in apparently. This does not appear to be the norm since everyone around us were served in a timely manner. The food was very very tasty. The drinks were even better.

I guess Im a little bias on this review since I do not like heights lol. However, the views are indeed nice. Yet when we first arrived the only elevator to the roof top was malfunctioning. Its 34 or 32 flights up. Once elevator started to work it was loaded way beyond weight capacity. Elbow to elbow! Im sorry but there has to be a better entrance and exit plan. The prices are obviously higher at the top for sure also. Go a few floors down and ull get better.

5 oClock Somewhere Bar seems to be a NY hidden gem. Close to the time square you have a great and free view of Manhattan on the 32nd floor. The drinks are really affordable, so no reason to skip this viewpoint !

Good views, but incredibly slow service. Passed by multiple times before the bartender even took my order.Also, there were children (under 10) in the bar past 10pm. I can’t say I’ve ever seen that in the city, it was strange. I get it’s in the Magaritaville “resort,” however it’s not the vibe they advertise on social media at all.

When we arrived, there werent any seats outside, so we were offered seats at the bar with a beautiful view. Unfortunately, the counter was dirty, and the bartender, CJ, seemed unwelcoming, possibly because we were older than the usual crowd. When I asked if they had Blue Moon, he directed me downstairs, giving the impression he wanted us gone. After inquiring about other beers, we ordered a Whistling Swan, a beer, a Not a Care in the World, and two orders of pulled pork sliders. The drinks were okay, but Not a Care in the World was disappointingly light on alcohol. The sliders were underwhelming, with dry cabbage instead of coleslaw, although the pork itself tasted good. Despite the poor service, we ordered another round, but the other bartender (whose name I didnt catch) informed us it would be a while, which it was. Frustrated, we left and went to Margaritaville, where the service was outstanding. This beautiful place deserves much better service.

Nice place I can take pictures for my clients. The one of the best rooftops in New York. Unfortunately opening only from 4 pm. The service is kinda good here. Most of the people young people who don’t much spend money cause they don’t have them. Not many tourist know this place, very nice place have a photoshoot. I do it with big pleasure. Can be so windy, located on 32nd floor. You can go from Margaritaville and up. Little complicated using elevators but if you go to 7th floor to the Hotel they will help you. Don’t worry you can visit this place is good.

Recently had a group event to celebrate one of my best friend’s birthday. We all had a great time. The rooftop view was amazing, food/drinks were top notch and Gabriella (our waitress) made the entire experience phenomenal; she was charming, attentive, patient and made everybody in my group feel accommodated. Can’t speak highly enough of her service - it was elite. I would highly recommend this spot if you’re downtown and looking for a good time.

Was amazing sitting out on the rooftop ... not sure about actually seeing Times Square though. Food was lovely 😍 se had a charcuterie board and truffle fries 🍟 😋

Celebrated my cousins birthday here! Had an avesome evening! ThAnks Maria (manager) for making this a delightful dinner celebration at the 2nd floor restaurant! Props to everyone working hard , just a FYI more staff may be needed since a lot of people come in to this busy hot spot!

I went there to check out the cocktails, food & views. There was not a lot of people since I went there around 4pm. There was one Asian bartender working at the bar. Once I sat in the bar, the bartender informed me that I can use a coupon at the downstairs restaurant and I said thanks. Later while I was looking at the menu, bartender started to talk about my look; telling me I look tired or something is off about me. I did not say anything to him before and I’m poc too.. It’s funny that this guy has yellow balayage in his hair but has the audacity to talk to Women or a customer like that 😂😭 I only used the bathroom and left cause despite the views, the vibes were lame.

I LOVE the rooftop bar! It was so amazing & my wife loved the drink she ordered. The atmosphere was perfect for couples, newly dating or seasoned lol. In all seriousness I cant wait to be back to have another great time!

Me and some friends came here for a couple of cocktails. The drinks were pretty good and strong. They were reasonably priced for a rooftop bar. I will say however the service was subpar. The wait to order was a little long considering a lot of the tables were empty. Overall I would recommend coming here for a couple of drinks.

Unexpected great rooftop in the most undesirable area for a newyorker, the times square. It was not crowded and felt like a hidden gem with delicious cocktails, epic views and stylish ambiance. The crowd was a mix of tourists and locals, everyone nice and having great time.

Excellent place to get a drink overlooking the city! The drinks were priced reasonably for NYC. It got pretty busy for the bartenders to handle after 9 but still a great view with some good cocktails!

Place is a scam! Stopped here Wednesday night for 2 drinks and closed out my tab around closing time. Woke up today (3 days later) to a new pending charge from them on the same card for $28.13. Called a few times today and keep getting the runaround and transferred to various voicemails, some that arent even set up...Not sure how they are even charging my card 3 days later unless someone kept it on file or copied the number down. Waiting on a call back and will have to cancel my card and open a fraud alert.

It was a good night and nice weather to go there. When we arrived, there were a lot of free tables, but about 30 min after we ordered food and drinks, a lot of people came. When we ordered again more food, Jonathan, the server, he told us the cook was upset and he didnt want to cook anymore. We ordered more drinks and after he forgot a couple of times, he brought them, but after about 10 min, he asked us for the table, but we still had them.Anyways, nice spot, but bad service that night. I didnt like Jonathans attitude towards us.

Nothing spectacular here.The view is So So. Not worth the time you have to wait to catch an elevator up there.The chicken teriyaki tacos sucks.Their drinks are heavily watered down.Their beer is over priced.They always seem to not have something.

Secret rooftop bar, you shouldn’t miss. The staff directing you to the bar were so friendly. The waitress service is lacking but the outside terrace is amazing. Great for early evening cocktails.

We were stuck in the elevator for about 3 minutes and crammed in like sardines. The buttons didn’t work, and when we asked for help (other employees were waiting to use the elevator) they said “I have work to do I can’t help you. Just move so I can go” Would NOT recommend! Happy 21st to me :)

No ambiance, it was dead on a Friday night.So we moved to Margaritaville same owners same building: Mediocre drinks, small, bad service (I sat at the bar for more than 30 min before I was acknowledged and it took another 20 min to get the drinks we ordered) high prices. It’s a chain and there zero care, go somewhere else.Same thing at land shark.

Why is everything sticky? The floor. The tables. The seats. Everything. When the floor is stickier than the streets of Times Square, you know something is wrong. Then I discovered not a single bathroom had soap. I check all 4 individual bathrooms because I was trying to grab some soapy paper towel to wipe down our sticky table. Why I stayed for $20 cocktails is beyond me but I won’t again. Get some soap, friends!!!

Location is great - lovely medium size bar. Good ambiance and friendly people. The main objective when making drinks is to make great drinks but it seemed like it was all premix and poorly made. Would grab a beer next time I go to the place.

I visit the store by the location and view... very nice and cute but ....I was the first person ordered food at 5:10 pm when the kitchen opened and they sopose placed the order. but they delivered the food to me at 6pm after delivering the food to all the customers who arrived later and forgot my food. They gave it to me because I stopped to ask about my food 2 times and at that moment they sent it to be prepared. I was the first client. Thats no lt a good service.

🤣 this place ..is so hard to find if you didnt know the secret. Its on thr 31st floor with a rooftop bar and they do serve food. Its easier to enter through the side that has empanada mama in front of it. There is a huge beautiful sign that says I love maragaritas/ it looks sketchy but go through those doors. The drinks are worth the view and price.. not as crowded as most of the rooftops. I shouldve taken a pic of the drinks but apparently that was asking too much 🤣. But, its NY prices here but the drinks are sooo good, had about 6 different kinds . Oh and her waitress/bartender was pretty great too

This is your spot to have a wonderful view of the city, specifically in the night. Really good rooftop bar and the cocktails are fire 🔥. You can see the edge building, H&M and other towers. Really good experience to se the night life in New York.

Only one bartender, so the service wasnt fast, but the drink was good if a but pricey, but with Bidenflation blowing up the price of everything, $21 for a premium drink isnt too much .ore than your standard bar price in NYC. The atmosphere there is great because its an outdoor, rooftop bar. A fun place to stop just off Time Square.

A great addition to the NYC Rooftop Bar scene. Great views of lower Hells Kitchen and old New York with the stark contrast of of Hudson Yards and the more modern buildings being erected. Drinks here are light and refreshing (no sugary mixes used here). Food was good (Shishito Peppers and French Fries were both out of this world, while the sliders just missed the spot for us). I will say though, that with a group of 5 at a booth, the table was just a hair too small for drinks and food. Saving best for last, the service was out of this world. Everyone that works here is so nice. They hit the right balance of being attentive to our needs and giving us space to enjoy ourselves. Definitely look forward to returning again.

Spent the evening here with a few friends, the minute I walked in I was blown away by the view. You can see the Hudson and New Jersey then all the way down to downtown financial district and the best view of the Times Square New Year’s Eve ball I have ever seen from any roof top bar in New York! The atmosphere is super chill and relaxing, the cocktails were amazing, service was fast, friendly and made us feel well looked after. This is hands down the best roof top bar in nyc!!

Manager completely unprofessional. Started yelling at bartender in front of entire restaurant. Completely ruined my experience, for these prices I expect more professionalism from management staff. Never coming back, don’t treat your staff like garbage. Bartenders and service was great such a shame this lady manager had to ruin it for my group.

Ordered fries that took almost an hour and a half to get to the table, cold. It was the wrong order of fries, server came by the table about 3 total times in that 1.5 hours. Then we were told that their systems were down for payment... so much going wrong on what was supposed to be a business appetizer

The atmosphere is amazing, Caribbean vibe. Food is good but not amazing.

Difficult to find (you need to get straight to the elevator for the 32th floor). But totally worth it, very nice view and prices ok (beer 8 to 11$)
