We were at the Makers Market and decided to eat lunch at the Cafe. We were seated immediately. Staff was very friendly. Service by Tiffany was awesome. She was attentive and came around to check often. Water was filled as needed. I shared a Jerusalem platter and quesadilla with my cousin. The hummus and pita were delicious and filling. The quesadilla was filled with cheese and great also. We did not leave hungry. And, the prices were not unreasonable, especially for the location. While the proximity to the traffic of 40th st made for a loud distraction, that is the charm of the city. We would 100% visit again.
I was there first time, it was great food and atmosphere!! But waiter was with no mood.
After touring the New York Public Library (a must-see!!!), my guest & I grabbed lunch at Bryant Park Café. Outside seating was shaded with great views of the park & passers-by. Our server was courteous, efficient & attentive. I really enjoyed the BBQ Pork Slider with fries. While lunch prices were high (even for New York), I figure youre paying for the view & ambiance. And as a tourist, youre going to splurge anyway. So yes, Id eat here again.
Lovely venue with great outdoors dining (covered and uncovered). Great menu selection, however the lunch menus felt more like a dinner menu but the food was delicious. Tad pricey for lunch, so be ready for that. On a nice day, its a great place to go and enjoy the weather and have a nice meal. Was impressed how fast the food was served.
Our server Lee was exceptional, very friendly and accommodating! The best Mediterranean chicken salad I’ve ever had, salmon was fresh and drinks a delight!
A great afternoon spot to enjoy good food and great company. We ordered a few items off their dessert menu and were happy with the variety of sweet treats. A light, tropical carrot cake was the tables favorite. The sorbets had big refreshing flavors. The chocolate cake was dense and could have use more of the mousse. It was wonderful to people watch and enjoy the sun and shade.
Great food! We ordered the grilled chicken and salmon both ended up being very delicious!
This cafe is outdoors. Mostly shaded by tall trees. Good place for people-watching. I had a beer plus a chicken & Swiss cheese sandwich with pickled onion & arugula - excellent and filling. Good, friendly service.
Best place in midtown to sit outside. Great drinks and food.
Im going to start highlighting the positive: the food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was enjoyable and the music was perfect. Now, when we arrived the restaurant had other three tables which were pretty much served, after been on the table, it took the waiter 10 mins to take our order. Then, after we were done with the appetizer, it took them another 10 mins to remove the dirty dishes and bring the entree (we were still the last people who entered the restaurant at that moment)… Then at the end, the waiter brought us the check with a circle highlighting the tip suggestions, which I consider to be unnecessary and at the same time kind of rude… The meal was delicious again, but it wasn’t such an amazing experience due to this mistakes…
Great place to go after work. Food and service was average. Our server suggestions to use the public restroom in the park. You would think they would have a bathroom of their own for customers.
Great service great atmosphere, food was decent. Definitely a great place to hang out and go on a date. Right next to the park!
Nice Place. Simple but tasty food. Beautiful location in the middle of NYC.
This is a really fun place for after work drinks were you could sit and get a beautiful view of Bryant Park and enjoy the outdoors in the summer time. The drinks are reasonably price to, around $10-$15 for a wine or cocktail, and the servers are quite nice. It is a nice spot to relax in the summer, and it’s also dog friendly.
I must say the staff here are exceptional, from the moment you’re greeted from the host to the server who takes care of you bravo to the whole staff! The food here is good pretty standard not gonna win any awards but the area is a bit Of a dead Zone so what can ya do.! My server was great, the kitchen messed up my shrimp tacos (was requested to be grilled but came out fried) all good I ate them anyways. But she (my server) felt a bit bad even though wasn’t her fault and gave me a complimentary glass of wine. Will return when I’m in the hood!
Bryant Park was a nice surprise. The landscaping was beautiful and the vibe was relaxed. The food at the Cafe was pretty good!
An excellent experience with very delicious and fresh dishes.
Came here after work on a warm Friday afternoon. Gazpacho and a glass (or two) of Prosecco. Wonderful atmosphere, attentive waitstaff, appealing and tasty food in a location that allows you to pause and look out on the frenetic pace of city. No complaints.
An incredibly lame Moscow Mule and a ridiculously small pour of Pinot Noir… a shame. 1st and last visit!
Our family of four went here after Christmas and really enjoyed a fun and festive 90 minutes with our own curling lane and heated dome. We were placed on the lane next to 42nd street, which had several people rooting us on and asking questions on the game as they waited for the bus. It was so much fun! The skyline view was beautiful, especially as it got dark. The food was good, the staff were attentive and respectful. They dont have bathrooms on-site, but they do provide a bathroom pass to use at the ice skating rink so you can enter through the exit.Plan ahead since it gets crowded at Bryant Park and may take a few minutes to walk there. There is a public bathroom nearby but the line is usually really long. Fantastic experience!! I highly recommend!! Thank you for creating such great memories for us!
Stopped here for a drink after lots of walking and holiday shopping. You would hope an outdoor bar at the holiday season would be a cozy and inviting place to rest. NOPE. It is COLD. So this sucks, whatever, one drink and we were out. However, something else should be said.Let me say, the staff here are lovely. Which is why it is unconscionable how they are being treated, having to work outside in subzero temps with virtually no heat. It was obvious they were freezing to death being out there for hours with only a dinky space heater behind the bar. Unacceptable.Outdoor heaters are a thing. All over the world cafes have them. It’s easy. They work. Buy them.To make the staff work in these conditions is abuse. Bryant Park Cafe should be ashamed.
This place is a tourist trap rip off. I had a chicken Cesar Salad with the driest most un flavorful chicken ever. The salad throughly lacked Ceasar dressing. My son ordered the BBQ pulled pork sliders, which were actually pulled pork with taco seasoning. My wife ordered the watermelon radish and tomato salad, which surprisingly had no watermelon.Save your money, go somewhere else!
Good location at Bryant Park, but it always feels like it’s short staffed or that if you’re there for drinks, you just have to fend for yourself. The restaurant reserves a section for drinks, but you have to order from the bar even if you’re sitting at a table. It’s like being at a club where you have to wave the Bartender down whenever you need something, which is the wrong vibe for a place like this.
Bryant Park was very active and filled with energy and people. Had a drink and a quick bite at PB Cafe. All good and freindly.
One of my favorite places. Music, lunch, coffee, family and much more. Its a must to visit.
Very cosy place to eat lunch. Service could be a bit faster as we were forgotten a few times.
As others have said, this place is very very overpriced for the quality of the food. Really the only reason to come here is the ambiance over Bryant Park. For $18 the aperol spritz came in a small plastic cup, very tragic.
Great place to have lunch or dinner next to the park.
Coffee is not good and the hot chocolate tastes like its made with water. One of each for $15
Nachos with guacamole and salsa came back n less than 30seconds and beer 🍺 served within the minute . Fastest outdoor restaurant service on a leisurely Saturday afternoon 👍🏽
Had a quick rest at Bryant Park Cafe on our way to Times Square. We got some sorbet and ice cream refreshments. Cool and relax environment. The bartender was nice and even treated us extra water.
Enjoyed my food. Just the half enchilada. Very nice to be on the Park. Difficult to attract service.
The service is good but the big problem I see is true restrooms bf is big place and I make line x 20 minutes to used the restroom definitely no good the rest is good
It was pretty busy over the holiday weekend, but I was still able to get served fairly quickly.Domestic beer here is $10. That is pretty typical for NYC. I had the 6-point crisp lager from Brooklyn brewing company. It was good - a little bit hoppier than I was anticipating, but good nonetheless.I would definitely come back here again.
Cute lunch spot in the park. Salads were delicious and chicken was perfectly cooked. Just what we were looking for. 10/10
The ice cream and the presentation of it were good. The service was ok… the location is fun and beautiful.
Bryant Park is one my favorite places and the Cafe is an easy way to chill and enjoy.
Sat in the bar for a couple of drinks after work, with a colleague, we were both in town for business and women traveling alone. We felt very safe there and reallt enjoyed the atmosphere. Wine selections were good, drinks were strong and the bartenders were friendly and had great stories to share, if talking is your thing, like us. They werent hovering or anything, so if quiet and unbothered is your thing, theyve got you covered there too.
Got married here 20 years ago today. It was fantastic. Have only been back once since for a business dinner couple years ago and the food was fabulous. Going back again tonight for anniversary cocktails and lite fare. Can’t wait, hope they have a nice private table upstairs for us with good view of the city. Our wedding got rained on so we brought the event inside and didn’t get to enjoy the rooftop views at night. That was sad, but still a wonderfulamazing celebration. Great band, great food, great location
Landed in New York and this was the very first place we ate at in Manhattan (mid-afternoon lunch). Wonderful location. Went a second time in the evening again. The slider mini burgers were my favorite item. A great place to just relax and people watch, but also be a bit off the busy/noisy sidewalk. A great view of the park too.
It was a sunny day. We sat under a shade and had a nice meal looking out over the park. I had the chicken ceasar and really enjoyed it; there was plenty of grilled chicken. My wife had grilled salmon ceasar and she said it was very nice. A nice place to spend an hour on a sunny afternoon.
The food tasted just fine and the service was great also. It’s just overpriced food over all. An order of “Over Sized Fries” is $11.00 and there isn’t anything really over sized about it. The individual fries were actually on the smaller size, especially when fries styles such as steak fries exist and the quantity was no more than your average side of fries at any sit down establishment. Paid nearly $20 for pork sliders and it came with two fairly basic sliders. The Breo toast app was great and decently well priced though.
Great ambiance and good food. The fries deserve a special mention, it was really yumm.Would not recommend Watermelon Salad. Great place to hang around near Bryant Park, with great service.
People saying the food here is good are insane. It’s on par with business class food on an American airline. It’s also awful that you have to go to the public bathroom with a line a mile long. As long as they’ve been open they couldn’t put in so,e real bathrooms for their guests? Terrible. It’s also a bummer that everything comes in plastic. If your gonna charge $70 for a bottle of wine, please up your game. But really you come here to sit under the trees in the middle of the city and not care if the food is good, and relax with your friends or family. We’ve been coming for years and years and won’t stop anytime soon, just know what you’re in for and set expectations accordingly.
Really good weather and good service. Nice to sit outdoors for a quick lunch. Fries are so good! Little pricey but we shared plates.
Its my second time working here at the wedding reception as a Hollywood Smile Photo Booth Attendant. They outstanding service and very delicious food. Location is very convenient and beautiful. Photo Booth was a great addition to the wedding as always.
Bryant Park in NYC (downtown) is a pleasant and calming atmosphere. The surrounding landscape is properly maintained and looks nice. Its a great place to sit at a table, enjoy the outdoors, eat, drink, read, socialize, etcetera...They carry both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.I recommend the shrimp cocktail which has jumbo shrimp. It goes well with a nice rose 🍷 wine.
Polite people. Good service. Good price.Hygiene is the most critical aspect. My family was very satisfied. Thank you.
Lovely place to take the view in and people watch of course
I love Bryant Park and the Bryant Park Grill. The cafe has really mediocre service. Our waiter didnt check on us once. And when we got another drink she handed it over as she was still serving the table next to us. Made it feel like we meant nothing to her. Really sad the area is so nice. I think if I do come back Ill try to avoid her.The place wasnt over crowded either. There were a ton of empty tables so I could understand if she was very busy, but instead she seems lazy. We got the second drink through another waiter we called over. He was nice and helpful. He did check in on us again.
Shared a couple of beers overlooking the park. Beautiful area to lounge and people watch and just see the world go by. Love Bryant Park! Great NYC spot.
Another NYC landmark on the backyard of the Public library.Great view, good food, green loam, public restrooms, carousel and cultural programs.Great spot to relax before or after visiting Time square
A pleasant cafe with a view of Bryant Park. We got cucumber margaritas, lemonades, sliders, BLTs, fries, chips and guac, and the caprese salad. We all agreed the caprese was delicious - not traditional - but still a winner. Bacon was crisp on the BLTs and the assembly was well done, but the bacon was cool. If theyd gotten the bacon hot before assembly - the sammy would have been great. Fries were hot and crisp. Sliders were ok.Drinks were too sweet and Manhattan premium pricing.Service was friendly but imprecise. Id go again, but with so many great choices near - not again this trip.
The outdoor seating and drinks are what you come for here. The food is beyond lackluster and over priced. I had their $25 Pastrami sandwich, which was easily the worst Pastrami sandwich Ive ever had in my life. I would only recommend coming here if you wanted to enjoy the sights of Bryant Park.
I really enjoy Bryant Park all year round. They change the activities on a seasonal basis and its a great place to enjoy lunch or dinner. The Cafe is a casual, umbrella canopied outdoor delight on a sunny afternoon. Good for drinks and sandwiches , burgers, salads, as well as other more elaborate dishes. Our starters were the watermelon w/ chili oil and the Grilled french bread with brie/ tomato ( $8.50 / 11.00) The water melon was not as sweet as I hoped but was fresh and juicy. It needed a bit more sweet to balance the chili oil. Interesting combination indeed. The bread was very good and just enough of 2 to share.
Food lovely and staff friendly
Had a truly excellent evening here! Andrew is a great bar tender and also very helpful with what to order/where to go once the bar closes. For being in Bryant Park the prices are very fair and everyone who works here is helpful and friendly!
One of my fave parks in NYC, and so glad for this place. Great service.
On September 14th, my sister & I enjoyed a delightful dinner at BPC(we are frequent tourists in NYC). Needless to say, Bryant park is a perfect location for a restaurant plus the food was very good. But most of all the waiter José was the most endearing, professional yet personal waiter ever. He is the best & we hope his bosses acknowledge his skills & wonderful, service- mindes personality.
I can see why it is very crowded! Very yummy food and places to sit down as well. Some areas are for playing games such as really big chess. There is always something happening and different activities pop up depending the month/holiday!
Great outdoor experience. Good food and drinks. Our server Erica was amazing. Overall a little pricey but worth it on a nice sunny day
This is a bar that doesnt basic amenities such as toilets (theres only the public ones used by the whole park). The drinks menu is extremely limited. Very poor service.Given all of this, the prices are also completely unjustified ($9 for a canned beer, before tips...).Avoid.
8:00 packed summer night, came in very hungry, Michelle had the food & drink within 5-10 mins, and it was great!!
My waitress Donaji was uninterested in working my table. We waited almost ten minutes before she took our order. Would’ve left but my daughter was hungry and tired of walking. Grilled chicken and pulled pork sandwiches were large portions and not too bad.
Bryant Park is beautiful on a gorgeous Autumn day. There are so many cool spots. Musicians fill the air, smiles everywhere. It is a spot worthy of grabbing a cold one or just people-watching.
Beautiful outdoors seating looking over the park.Menu has great choices.Touristic spot but the food is not bad.On a beautiful day visit this place.
Great service! The only thing I would recommend for this place is to add local draft beer to the menu. The Brooklyn can beer was great though!
Marcos was the most amazing server I’ve ever had! The food was delicious, highly recommend the Brie and avocado toast, the Mediterranean salad, and the German chocolate cake.
We ate outdoors and it was very noisy. But they have a nice large outdoor space. Food was just ok for price.
We enjoy sitting here and taking in all of NY!
The Bryant Park Café was the perfect setting for our last lunch in NYC. We arrived as soon as they opened, 11:30am, on a beautiful Sunday morning. We were one of the first to arrive and were seated facing the park. By the time we left, an hour later, the café was packed. The foliage surrounding the perimeter was beautiful against the backdrop of the park and café tables. The waiter didnt rush us, probably knowing full well most who eat there need time to enjoy the ambience. Food was good. I had the sweet/spicy fried chicken sandwich with jicama slaw. My daughter had shrimp tacos that came with a side of killer hot sauce. Be prepared when I say hot. She also had a delicious strawberry margarita.
We had an evening meal here which was very enjoyable
Perfect place for a couple of drinks if you work around midtown. I personally dont recommend this for tourists as they wont get the best impression of NY.
Just had beer and Prosecco. Beer was can in plastic cup. Prosecco was in plastic cup. What a joke. Why no glass for a proper seated restaurant? And they wanted a tip !
The don’t have a bathroom. We where directed to a public bathroom where we had to stay in a line of 20 people to wash our hands. Also there was a rat running past our table when we sat down.
Great food, great service, great location. So why only 1 star?Because everything comes in plastic. Ice water = plastic cup. Glass of wine = plastic cup. Salsa= plastic cup. My meal alone created a mountain of garbage.Sorry, but I can’t eat here again with a clean conscience until they change.
Great outside dining/drinking venue. Met friends here and we had a fantastic night. Great to be outside in the city.
Good food and drinks! oversized fries were great! ( Im not sure exactly what they were called but it was really good )
Expensive, but good service and tasty food. Views and location are amazing. That doesnt mean they will let you use the bathroom if youre sitting outside.
Nice view, but food is not worth the money, only wings was tasty.
I ate appetizers here before my girlfriend and 2 of her friends went to the Google Local event earlier in the summer. They have nice micro brews on tap and plenty of seating and big flat screen TVs that make it easy to watch sporting events like the world cup or NFL games. Come check it out.
LOVED:The location and setting. Overlooking Bryant Park. Great people watching.LIKED:The vegetable garden salad. Fresh, crispy, light flavor. The radicchio lettuce was a perfect accent. The pork sliders. My husband had them. He said the sweet smell made him drool. The sauce was sweet and made the sandwich moist.MEH:The cost. $16 for a small dinner salad. $19 for two sliders. Woo! You pay for the location. I wont go back. Next time Ill bring my own and sit in the park.SO BAD:Plastic cups for the water! Seriously... at that price? And they didnt ask me. I would have said no thanks and saved the plastic. Dont bring someone plastic that will get thrown out without asking, please! We have a planet to take care of.
Great location. I wish the bar looked out into Bryant Park instead of the back of the library, but oh well. 🤷♂️
Outdoor casual dining overlooking Bryant Park. Amazing shrimp tacos and frosé.
As a former resident of NYC, I alwase loved passing by Bryant Park every time I had a chance. Its a lovely place.
Comfy outdoor right behind the library with an easy view of the park. Good food! Order fries separate!
Careless service! They lost my credit card while my tab was open and couldnt find it anymore. The card was charged in another place 30 min after I gave it to the bar tender.... dont leave your credit card with them!!
Awesome experience. They have one of the best guacamole I have tried. Also wings and fries!!
Lovely outdoor ambiance in the heart of the City. Fresh ice water, shade, good service, and a great pastrami on rye...I could only eat half!
Good
I love the service and settings.
Very nice place with lots of places to eat, right in the heart of New York. You can even play chess and ping pong against strangers.
A lovely spot to enjoy the park. Decent cocktails (if overpriced) but disappointingly served in disposable plastic.
Excellent place with an aide for digestion- Mozart in free air
Strongest frozen margaritas in NYC. consume with caution.
Great staff and ambiance! Great place to just unwind and enjoy the weather !
Always a great place to sit and relax not mention theyre always something going on like yoga in the park outside library and more
Great place in the middle of the city to take a break and people watch.Plenty of tables and chairs.
This place is ok. A pretty good burger. Better than you would expect from park restaurant.
Easily one of my favorite places to hang-out with a crowd of friends, outdoors, when the weather is warm.
Fastest service ever! We got or nachos with guacamole and salsa within 30 seconds of ordering 👌
Awful service, I sat at a side table after I ordered a pastrami sandwich and no waiter came to ask me what I wanted something to drink, 2nd, it came without mustard (as advertised) and finally this is what I got for $16.95, the most fatty sandwich (non bacon) that Ive ever had. After the manager saw it with a frawn I wasnt charged. Only for tourists who wont ever go back.
These guys seated us and then informed us they were actually closed, kicking us out. Quite a low -- and a surprise too! I willl not return.
Great Happy Hour place, during the summer time it gets really crowded.Good place to hang out after work with co-workers.
My team’s favorite place for team bonding happy hours. Especially in the summer, it’s a nice vibe
COOL place very expensive. 3 shrimp tacos for $20... I hope they r fresh and no frozen 🤣🤐
Great atmosphere and spicy wing BUT That was a FLY in my drink 😩😷and server do not know nothing about serving tables.
Fantastic little spot for a beer or two while sightseeing and relax while watching the world go by. Staff are great and friendly
Was outside on patio facing the parkFries and beerGreat after work spot
Pleasant outdoor cafeHuge pastrami and BLT sandwiches. Excellent gazpacho and chips and salsa for the table
Tremendous setting justifies the price. Many interesting menu items. Pastrami was excellent.
Nice view there for the 3 stars. The food might as well be purchase from the 711.
The food was good but the staff were not.
Always fun to come here in the fall. The lerfe t outdoor setting and much less crowded than in the summer
Fun, trees and good food/drinks in the heart of Manhattan. You feel the NY spirit
Nice cafe in the park. Many choice of drinks and wine.
Great place to stop for a quick bite and drink. Great atmosphere
Its location overlooking the park was refreshing. the food and the service were good
Very nice atmosphere, lovely food choices, expensive prices.
Great little place on the edge of Bryant Park - Great atmosphere and good service.
So-so food but a marvellous location.
Excellent location and atmosphere!! The food was delicious and the service was great!!
Great place for after work drinks on a nice day right across from the Salesforce office
You just pay for the location, the food is disgusting and the menu is shorter than McDonalds selection.
Great view of the park.
Great happy hour spot. Had a bottle of wine with a salsa, guacamole, and chips appetizer today.
Its a bit expensive but the food is high quality. It is outside though so you have to pay attention to weather.
Although it was pretty busy for a holiday weekend, I was still able to be served fairly quickly. The bar had decent drink offerings. A domestic beer costs $10 here, which is pretty typical for Manhattan. I had the 6 - point crispLager from Brooklyn brewing company. A little Hoppier than anticipated, but good.I would come back here again for a beer & maybe some food next time
For a wonderful place and ambiance like this, the menu needs a lot more work!
Great place but I think that they should put relax music and offer more promotions
Chess
Did a day trip and hit the Cafe after walking past and going, hey this place looks good.Grabbed the blt, mango margarita and fries for the table. And all of them were really good. Would suggest stopping by if you have the time
We sat outside under umbrellas. It was not a nice weather day. In fact thunderstorms. But we were dry and safe. Loved it. Love Bryant Park.
Lovely staff, good menu and tasty, but priced for tourists.
A very pretty green park surrounded by buildings. Sights are awesome.
IT IS A SCAM ! 17$ for a burger with no fries, no sauce, 3 onions and dry steaks. The saddest burger I have ever seen. Oh no sorry I forgot they gave us ketchup 10 minutes after that in a little pot. Wow. Run away, save your money for something that is actually worth it.
This is a wonderful place to eat in good weather to enjoy the park. The food is a little pricy but you are in Manhattan. I ordered a chicken breast sandwich & hubby had tacos… fresh and flavorful.
I really liked this place. We just had drinks and each ordered a beer ($9) and a cocktail ($18). The cocktails were pricey, but good. I ordered a frozen mango margarita which was very sweet yet cold and refreshing on a warm summer night. We sat at the bar and had a lovely conversation with some other customers. The bartender was great!
Awesome place! Only small thing is that they are still serving all drinks in plastic cups. Open area is beautiful under the trees and well served. Erika is the best server ever, can’t stress enough how awesome she was! They found a nice area for us to seat, and even offered better seats after they were available. Would definitely recommend!!
I ordered chicken breast and Swiss cheese sandwich paired with orange juice. it was good. there was a music playing on the background. the service was great.
Very professional and even had time to catch up on my homework in Bryant Park while enjoying the beverage!Public Restroom nearby, given the volume of people or even taking place there is line formed! #keepnewyorkclean
Service wasn’t super friendly. Food selection is good but you can’t beat the atmosphere!
A gorgeous Oasis in midtown Manhattan. Great place for people watching and enjoying the outdoors while taking in the view of the skyline nearby
For a pleasant lunch go to enjoy this place, of course its better in summer although you can go in winter and see a different atmosphere but beautiful as well. Dont miss a coffee or a fresh lunch.
Great atmosphere, but the buttermilk chicken was firm as a slipper
Really great outdoor seating and delicious food.
Come for a frozen drink and leave a better person for it
Stopped in the park while walking with friends. The Cafe was conveniently located and had ample seating available at the bar. Bartenders were very friendly however the drink selection was somewhat sparse. Recommend the fries as they were amazing.
Nice little park... I wish it had more restrooms
Really well-made cocktails.And good service.
Food was very good. Wait staff attentive. Outdoor seating comfortable. Nice view of the park and scenery. Will definitely go again with hubby for evening drinks by the lighted bar area.
Friendly staff, great place to sit on a hot day
Love the environment and atmosphere, food was average.
A spacious and beautiful terrace with a wiew on Bryant Park. Great for drinks outdoor.
Really great location but service was impersonal and food mediocre amd overpriced. Most egregious were some of the details: $6 for ice coffee which tasted like yesterday’s diner drags on ice. If we would go back to enjoy lovely Bryant park, we would get coffee and a salad for take out at a nearby outlet that values quality over Teflon reputation and enjoy it on one of the park’s benches.
Overpriced horrible service tourist trap!
Great place to spend your summer evening.
Great place for drinks! Fridays are really fun!
Great spot for some drinks and a bite!
Not really great food menu in my view
Good place for after work drinks in the summertime.
Great location and good food!
Always great to stop by Bryant Park Cafe!!! The staff is always courteous and the bar staff is always quick in taking your drink order! Hahaha! Love this place! Brilliant!
Nice place to sit outdoors and have a simple meal. Enjoyed the service, turkey burger, fries, and the price. Will visit again
Good, but very pricey.
Café with style in Bryant park. We went there around 4.30 pm in summer. Relaxed and at the same time energised after-work atmosphere. Very friendly staff.
Nice place to go after a day in the office. I went with some colleagues after work for some drinks and appetizers. Comfortable outdoor seating with attentive service. We ordered buffalo wings, sliders, and some shrimp tacos. All of it pretty tasty. Its NYC, so its overpriced, but on the flip side, you get the NY vibe and energy.
Met up with some friends for a late night drink, interesting to find a bar with service in a garden in the middle of the city.
Very nice salmon Ceasars salad!
Beautiful place for a relaxing lunch in the park. Good selection of food and good service.
A beautiful place to relax and eat/drink in the middle of busy Manhattan.
This place has no hooks under the bar so plan on holding you coat or bag.
Lovely restaurant and bar in the literal shadow of the iconic NYPL. Courteous staff, great views right in the heart of midtown, within easy earshot of the concerts in the park. Terrence Blanchard was performing there when I visited. Highly recommended !
Tasteless steak and fries…
Great food and friendly staff
A must do after work spot for midtowners. Great place to meet and mingle and the food is surprisingly good.
Lovely menu and service. Worth the visit.
Beautiful Park, the chicken and salad was phenomenal!
Lovely make u feel relax clam peaceful give you serenity
Great Scenery and they have a Carousel in the Park
Great place for a beautiful lunch.
If you are here on the weekends on a night summer night, you should stop bye and enjoy the atmosphere and the food.
BPC has been a go-to spot for outdoor drinks in midtown for years. It was nice to have a spot in NYC that was still standing after all this time. That said, the drinks are definitely NYC-priced ($16 for a cocktail! ) but at least the $5 sodas are refillable. The fries were super yummy (twice-fried) and served with a seasoned ketchup and the Frozé is the drink youll return for--a potent shot of wine and ice, spun to perfection. The massive table umbrellas even provided effective protection against the summer storms that blew through. BPC retains its status as a summertime gem in the city.
Beautiful park and very relaxed cafe
Beautiful place in the middle of skyscrapers. Must go in NewYork
Friendly service and nice menu! Location couldnt be better, particularly when there are concerts in the park. They serve beer in plastic cups... wouldnt killem to cut on glass and use a nice glass
Great service. Food was good
Loved the vibe... a.must visit park in nyc
The location is perfect. Very relaxing. And visually appealing. The drinks were tasty. Service was ok. The only thing that would keep me from coming back was the food. For the most part low quality. Shockingly for the location and price. And small portions.
Great place, green and fresh , all you need for a rest in the city
As a long time New Yorker, I love the Bryant Park Grill. Superb location, great drinks and very good food. It’s rough when the Grill closes for the season. Just go there!
Great place to grab lunch and the food was very good.
RUDE BARTENDER that worked on Saturday 6/12/21 around 545-6pm. I asked to order a drink and he told me that another server will assist me. But he JUST took an order from a couple that was sitting right next to me. I was unable to ask for his name because he quickly walked away. He was of hispanic/latin descent. I didnt get service until another bartender came by 10 mins later. He was super nice and friendly and apologized for the other servers rude behavior. Hence, I will NOT be returning. I can pay the same amount for $16-$18 cocktails at Bryant Park Grill next door and get 5 star service. I only stopped by the BP Cafe since the Fever Tree bar was under construction and wanted to sit outside at a bar.
Very nice restaurant! The seating is so cool with the view of Bryant Park. This was the first time we checked out this place and were surprised by how many vegan/vegetarian options it has! Great drinks and food, although portions are a bit modest. Recommending.
Quick, tasty, nice location. Plenty of shade
Byrant park is our favourite. The Cafe itself, fits our likes.. nice staff, nice food. Yes a little bit expensive.. but all right. This is manhattan
The attention is very nice and the food is good, however, the place itself is a little dated.
What the food and bartending output lacks in finesse the view and people watching makes up for. Great place to kill an hour on a summer evening. Grab a friend you can either have a great convo with or just enjoy watching the world passing together and go get a table overlooking the park.
Always a delight! Toasted cauliflower a fav.
