Great food and excellent service. The wait staff was super attentive constantly clearing plates and filling our water. Our waiter Carlos was fantastic! Friendly and helpful and did a great job recommending different appetizers, mains, drinks and desserts... Really made it a nice night. Will definitely stop in again!

Very cute place! Have been here a bunch for dinner (I know they also have an amazing brunch). The food is great, especially the burgers. It has a very eclectic menu. The drinks are also great and the staff is very attentive and nice. (Apologies for the picture of the half eaten crab cake slider! Forgot to take a picture before digging in!)

I enjoyed my meal which was essentially a fancy ham and cheese toastie. Manhattan is expensive but as a frugal Brit the prices did make my eyes water slightly. We sat outside as it was the summer months. My partner wasnt overly impressed with her salad.

Exceptional service & food. In the city overnight to send my BESTIE back off to England. The atmosphere was amazingly friendly, along with the decor!!! Thanks to The Blue Dog my BESTIE went home with a very memorable experience despite the USA political climate 🫣🫣

A little more accurate to say this is a little higher than 3.5 but lower than 4. I just kept it as a 3.The servers are kind but tend to be confused on which tables they serve.My cousin asked one server who came to us regarding food allergies. Then, while that server left, another server came to ask about our order. We knew they were confused because that server who left to check on allergies came back as the other server came to take our order.It was pretty awkward.The food is good, the tables are a bit awkward because we were more of a booth than an actual table. The chairs were hard and I was a bit annoyed because Im short... and had to like hop/jump to get on.The part that really annoyed me is how the waitlist works around here. Just to note to others - they door guy doesnt actually follow protocols on using the OpenTable app.We came at 10:30 am and there were a group of women who came before us waiting outside. The door person told us we are placed on a 30 minute waitlist and we would be texted.So we went to grab coffee nearby to pass the time. Came back 30 minutes later. The group of women were no longer there (meaning they were seated). A new group (2 of them) were now there. We asked to follow up on our waitlist....and the door guy just said we were still waiting another 20 minutes.What the....And then proceeded to seat the other group....That was not cool.

Food was really great. Party of 6, all ordered different items and everyone thoroughly enjoyed!Our server Petar was so accommodating and absolutely amazing!!A must try spot when on New York!

Absolutely perfect.I ordered the salmon platter and crunchy French toast presentation of both was fire. Service was fire. Ambiance was intimate with a view of the sidewalk, a bit tucked away. I couldve honestly done without the French toast as it was a bit too eggy and wet in the center and not as sweet as Id hoped but still good. The salmon Platter on the other hand was immaculate. Perfect flavor combination and everything. I super I just wish there were some bread slices on the side if I could add anything.

WOW! I’ll say this blew me out of the water, sat at the perfect spot at the end of the bar and got the opportunity to see everything coming out of the kitchen, made it insanely hard to make a decision as it all looked so incredible. Went with the lox benny and it did not disappoint 10/10.I’d been to the Blue Dog in Boca and had no idea there was one in NYC nor that they were related. Phenomenal experience, phenomenal service, phenomenal food. If you have the chance to stop by be sure to enjoy a cocktail from the best bartender Marlon and speak with the ever delightful manager Steven.

We were looking for a restaurant near the Gershwin Theatre that took reservations and came across this fantastic spot. Its tight quarters, but it has a laid-back, casual vibe. Service was terrific; our server was attentive but not pushy. Food was tremendous (highly recommend the butternut squash fries and braised short ribs) and came out rather quickly. We had the carrot cake for dessert, which was very good as well. Highly recommend this little gem.

!!!Edit!!!I reserved a table of 8 at 8pm for a birthday dinner. Host was accommodating to a change in the number of people and time change. We ordered together I ordered the Senior Benedict, most order a burger or a steak. My friends said the steak wasn’t that good. My server misheard what I said and thought I ordered the salmon burger. I still took it because I didn’t want to wait, the server said it was the most popular but in all honesty it had a weird taste, something was off, I’m not sure if it was the vegetables or the salmon itself but I didn’t finish it. I forgot what the other burger was called but it had an egg on it and it was very delicious. Overall disappointed but I will still give this restaurant the benefit of the doubt.——————————————————————————I made a reservation for 3 at 9pm on a Friday night. The restaurant wasn’t packed but it wasn’t empty either. I requested a booth by the window and that’s where we were sat. However, the booth was a bit uncomfortable. We sat at a small table, it was enough room for us but still small. Not enough space for all of us to lean on the table if we wanted to, it wasn’t an issue though. The servers were all nice and attending. We ordered the tarragon strawberry chicken salad, the Empire State of Mind Burger and the Notorious DOG Burger, both with truffle fries. Everything was thing the Notorious DOG was a bit salty in my opinion and the bottom bun was soggy, if you have a texture preference. The ES came apart but it was very good. The salad had an amazing dressing and all the ingredients paired well with one another. I can’t wait to come back to try their brunch and to order the salad again. Overall everything was tasty. My friend ordered a strawberry margarita, it was very tasty and the alcohol was strong.

This restaurant has a mysterious speakeasy vibe that’s so unique. Delicious fresh food and great service. Came here for a late lunch and it did not disappoint! Also had Single stall clean bathroom.

Decided to give this restaurant a try during our trip to NYC and it did not disappoint. Expect to wait around 45 minutes for a table unless you make a reservation. The prices are reasonable and the portions are incredible!

First up, the place is SMALL, that is to be taken into consideration when booking a table. The quotation because you will likely be sharing your table with other patrons as there is a long table in the the middle of the room/restaurant. That seating is also a cause for major concern regarding safety. The restaurant is a fire hazard as it is structured to fit as many as possible in a small room, making it hard for patrons seated furthest away from the exit to escape. The atmosphere is loud, very loud. The service is friendly but not trained in either etiquete nor hygiene.The toilet has no paper towels, only toilet paper. That is definitely not hygienic. In Europe the toilet has to be separated from the restaurants seating area by two doors, this is definitely not the case here. The toilet is next to the seating area, and you will be able to hear everything that is going on.The dish was Empire State of mind with panko breaded beef burgers, Worcestershire and kimchi. As a dish it is nice but as a burger eating experience it is a fail, it is impossible to get an umami flavoured taste, as it is impossible to take a complete bite to taste all flavours properly.Be prepared to pay an exorbitant amount (20%) as tips ( they add it themselves)

Steven the GM is amazing! We started the table with buffalo cauliflower highly recommend. For my entree, I had the traditional Eggs Benedict, my eggs were poached to perfection, potatoes were seasoned well comes with side salad. To drink I had a beauty and bubbles, the blue dog rendition of a kid royale and it comes in a cute coupe decorated with dried roses which adds an aromatic effect to the drink. The atmosphere and cozy and friendly. Her place to catch up with friends!! Love this cafe ❤️

Stopped by yesterday while waiting for my show time and had a great experience. The guy at the door, Louis was really fun and diligent! He got us seated fast as we had to be out for our show. Food was really good and we had a great pre show party! Our server was super nice as well I think his name was Gustavo. Great team and food as well as very convenient location for Broadway shows

Amazing hospitality!!! Best servers that were so friendly! Very quaint and unique New York vibe. Food was amazing! Get the burger. The GM Steven came over to check on us so it made the experience that much more memorable. 100000/10 recommend! Must visit if your in town.

Came into the city with my wife and chose this place for dinner based off reviews a their menu and they did not disappoint. Service was excellent and the food was even better. If there was any con it is very small inside with tight seating, but overall was a great place. I would recommend and return.

Great food and drinks. Very small place so definitely recommend reservations or getting there early. The space is very tight if you dont mind that. Its very well decorated and cozy. The food is really good, Ive had a few items there. Recently had their fall kale salad and I added salmon which was amazing. The French onion soup is an absolute MUST. Has to be the best Ive had. Big fan of the truffle Parm fries as well.

What a cute place! We came for a later breakfast and even though we didn’t have a reservation, we got a table right away. Everyone was attentive and nice, our food came out incredibly fast, and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. We even got a to go order which came out faster than the second round of cocktails we ordered. I would definitely recommend eating and drinking here.

We were in NYC after moving out of town. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary. In the week that we were in NYC, The Blue Dog was hands down our best meal out. The food was great, but the service was impeccable. It felt like NYC 30 years ago. Warm and cozy, friendly gracious staff. The manager, Stephen, creates a great atmosphere. It was very crowded, but he makes sure that everyone gets seated fast and has a great meal. Also special shout out to our waiter Peter who gave us great suggestions. And Foli, who got us a perfect table by the window for our anniversary brunch. Perfect all around!!

Such a great spot to grab brunch or lunch before a show. Totally loved the decor and ambiance. Yummy bloody Mary’s and expresso martinis.

Honestly one of the better finds in midtown lately. An intimate restaurant with great service and good food. Smaller, so try and go in with a reservation, but if you go with a party of 2, you’re pretty likely to get a place at the bar. Modern atmosphere, good bartenders, good drinks. Will definitely go again.

I love the vibes of this place as soon as you walk in you feel like you’re in your family living room. every single thing I had from this menu was absolutely delicious and so fresh highly recommend the burger, butternut squash fries, and the tuna Tartar

Stopped for a cocktail before dinner and show and wound up staying here ordering appetizers. Fast food service, good drinks, friendly staff. We had 2 orders of dumplings, and the Mac and cheese balls which were the size of baseballs. All good. Good date spot.

I came into town for business in NY and found this place when looking for restaurants in Hells Kitchen. The atmosphere was small but wonderful. Food was portioned well for price point and tasted delicious. Highly recommend the Fried Mac & Cheese balls & one of their hand-crafted cocktails! Great place to come before a show!

Visited on a Saturday morning for a quick bite to eat. Inside seating was 40 minutes of waiting so we opted out for the outside seating.Cute decorations for photo ops but it was cold with a draft going down the corridor.Host was unenthusiastic but the server was very nice, albeit slow.French onion soup was amazing, the chicken and waffles stood out in the menu but the waffle was cold and hard. Chicken was good.Overall it felt like just a regular good brunch spot nothing special.

It can get very crowded during peak hours, but we managed to get seated in a few minutes. The service is great and the portions are big, but it’s on the pricier end for brunch and there are lots of brunch spots in the area.

I had my first breakfast here after arriving in New York. The restaurant has a great atmosphere. Cool waiters. I had waffles and chicken, which were very high quality and foreshadowed the start of a good day.

Tiny restaurant with full of people. About 50 min waiting for lunch on Saturday. All employees are so friendly and attentive. Foods are all delicious, especially their french toast, which was top-notch and lovely plated. Its just too crowded.

I recommend this place for any family or person who is looking for a place that could fill you up to the brim with food and enjoyment! I felt safe and comfortable eating the food that had been passed down by the restaurant’s family recipes and traditions and it tasted delicious! This is one of the special breakfast places where I ate all that I could. I am definitely coming back!

This place was so good! It was the best chicken and waffles I have ever had! No joke! The place is pretty small so make rservations if you can or expect to wait. We were told we would have to wait an hour+ , but we ended up sitting outside even though it was kind of cold. Didnt ruin the experience though. We had a great time

Cozy little spot with fabulous food and kind, friendly, and attentive waitstaff! Brunch was delicious! We enjoyed benedicts, Croque Madame, and s’mores pancakes. Cappuccino was perfect and the specialty coffee drinks came in good-sized mugs. (Note—you enter from inside walkway and up a few steps).

This was our last breakfast in NY and we were very glad to have chosen The Blue Dog. The location is very convenient and was easy to get to. There was a bit of a wait as the place is fairly small and was tightly packed. The food was great, flavorful and came out relatively quickly. I would definitely recommend this spot for breakfast or brunch.

Needed a quick bite before The Notebook matinee! The Blue Dog was perfection!!We sat at the bar, bartender was friendly and sensational! We shared the Chicken lunch selection which was nothing short of Exceptional. My wife had the Glen Coco (2) strawberry gin concoction which I highly recommend. In short the perfect lunch before the show! The Notebook was unforgettable 💕

Excellent!! First of all, they have brunch every day, which in and of itself is incredible. But the food is out of this world! The espresso martinis are delicious, the atmosphere is cozy and cool. Black and white movies play while you dine and the staff are inviting and warm. All in all it’s a 10/10!

We warmed up after braving the cold, rainy parade and had an INCREDIBLE meal. I think it’s important to note it’s tight quarters seating but we were totally cool with that. I enjoyed a Bloody Mary, the kids had hot chocolate, and we had chicken & waffles, an assortment of pancakes, and French toast. Everyone was thrilled with their choices AND we got to watch the parade in the projector. Bonus!

The blue dog special! I love coming here for brunch. Easy to get into later afternoon. Make sure and try their seasonal French toast dishes and the vibe is right for weekend brunch.

Found this restaurant using TikTok and was overall impressed with the food. It’s a small location, so if you don’t have a reservation, expect a wait. Also, for reservations over 5, you have to call and arrange it with their staff, which will require a CC, charging a fee if you are a no-call, no-show. The downside to this location being so small is that they use a communal table for some of the seating, meaning the table sits 15-20 people, and your party of 5 will be sitting at the same table with 10 other people. Honestly, this idea didn’t bother me too much because I feel as if it’s no different than a table placed closely to each other; however, the guest next to us seemed to have an issue with this, requesting a different table to no avail.The burger was solid; nothing memorable. I feel like it was missing something.Overall, I would go back if I was in the area but don’t think I would go out of my way to go there either.

Came on a Friday at noon. sat outdoors. The staff were all very attentive and were nice. I got the Salmon burger since it was my first time trying a salmon burger and it was good. Wasn’t anything mind-blowing but it’s okay. Went well with the beets in it. I also got a side of Brussels sprouts that was good. This place is adorable. And the layout of their outdoor seating is very unique as well. Would come back out here again. I ordered the salmon burger on the rarer side and it definitely wasn’t - was well done. But I’d still come back and would recommend The Blue Dog! :)

Really good benedict! I would call it the best, but leaving the room for other possibilities. The place ia centrally located and has a stylish relaxed vibe. It is better to reserve your seats before the visit, but we got lucky and got seated at the bar ☺️

We had brunch here on Saturday and it was lovely. The avocado toast was divine! The only thing to keep in mind is the space is compact and they have a big communal table so dont be surprised if you end up sitting with other people. We didnt mind it so it was fine, but I did notice other groups come in and leave shortly after. It was about a 30 min wait for Saturday brunch.

My husband and I came for our honeymoon and WOW!!! The filet was amazing, the truffle fries are insane and the overall experience was awesome. Our server Dennis was very attentive and the host was always checking in on us. We were well taken care of. Definitely add this to your list visit places.

We had a nice pre-theater meal at The Blue Dog. Food was great.We really liked the Notorious DOG burger with butternut squash fries. Make sure to get the butternut squash fries whatever you order.The butternut squash kale salad was also a big hit.The drinks were more hit or miss.The Blissful Barcelona combined tequila and port into a unique drink that I highly recommend.The Glen Coco gin drink was an experiment that should never have made it to the menu.The Saint Citron drink came incompletely mixed so the first half was not so good but the second half enjoyable.The server was stretched too thin and not particularly good at recommending options. But, the owner / host stepped in a few times to help the server so in total our experience was good.

I’m honestly not sure why this place is so highly rated. The host was incredibly rude and cold. The restaurant is tiny and cramped. Although we made a reservation my seat could hardly fit me and I’m the size of a small child. Pancakes were dry and burnt . Not sure how you mess up pancakes. The only highlight was our friendly waiter. Will not return.

The Blue Dog is the quaintest little eatery built into the outside of a curved building. The decor is very comfortable and old timey, which I loved. The food was amazing and the menu has so many unique items to choose from. With our mimosas, my husband and I decided to split the double decker panko crusted burger and it was DELICIOUS! We had to disassemble the burger in order to eat it and it was worth every calorie! 🤤 We also tried the pumpkin stuffed French toast and that was pretty good, too. It was very good, as well.

Really neat place with an upscale menu -- but you are packed in like sardines and therefore the servers have a hard time giving you much attention. Expect a good meal but dont expect your coffee to be refiled.

My experience was great, went here on a Sunday for brunch to wrap up a birthday girls trip. The place was intimately seated, we sat at the family style table in the center. Our food was amazing! The crunchy French toast, steak and eggs, and Buffalo Cauliflowerwere so delicious! The service was also great, very friendly staff. Eggs Benedict had a funny taste to it. Ham was dry and has a gas flame taste as di the fried banana’s that came with the crunchy french toast. The chopped potatoes were ok.

Chicken and waffles were good. The hamburger is terrible. Would avoid. I wish they would of told me there was a charge for refills on my drink so I didnt spend $20 bucks on a soft drink with 1 refill. Insane. Waiter was nice but really lost points for not pointing that out as most people that come are not from NYC.

We highly recommend making a reservation at The Blue Dog, as it’s a small yet charming spot thats definitely worth it. We loved the cozy decor and the warm atmosphere—it made for a perfect night out.The cocktails were amazing, especially the Glenn Coco and a neat Elijah Craig. For starters, we enjoyed the grilled octopus, which was cooked to perfection, and the butternut squash soup was deliciously rich. The seared branzino and pan-seared thyme chicken for the main courses were both incredible—full of flavor.The staff was friendly and prompt, which made our experience even better. Although the tables are a bit tight, the cozy feel of the place really added to its charm. Overall, we had a fantastic time at The Blue Dog—great food, excellent drinks, and a cozy vibe that we’d happily recommend to anyone!

Warm and inviting. Steve and his team are amazing. Marlon is a very talented bartender. A true artist! We were here for 2 days and spent 2 days enjoying the best food. This is a true gem.

Last day in NYC and i will definitely miss having breakfast here! We ate here everyday and loved everything about this place. From the service to the ambiance and not to forget the AMAZING food, loved every part of it.Would highly recommend!

A perfect place to start the day! The food is simply spectacular: fresh ingredients, generous portions, and flavors that make you want to come back. I tried the eggs & avocado, were delicious! Came for dinner and drinks. The drinks were very good - afternoon menu has some fruity drinks with almost a smoothie consistency, and the dinner bar menu has more standard cocktails. The food was disappointing for the price. I ordered a burger medium rare, and it was overcoocked - definitely well done. I ordered Parmesan fries, and they came out as regular fries. The server was happy to replace them, but the replacement fries were clearly rushed - very undercooked and soggy.

The Hostess was very nice and friendly and the atmosphere was very upbringing! The problems started once we were seated. After our server took our order we only saw them 2 other times. One was when we asked for three more pairings of silverware because we were three short, but the server never ended up bringing them so we had to ask the worker who brought our food for them. Our water glasses were consistently empty and our food took 40 minutes to come out. The food had a great presentation, but the taste for the most part was sub par. The two dishes that did stand out was the chicken and waffles and Huevos Rancheros. I’m not sure if that was just a fluke experience, but for the price of everything and the amount you have to wait for your food I will not be returning.

This place is awesome. I loved it. The food was so good and definitely worth the wait. I never had huevos con chorizo with avocado but now I will! The service was superior, they conduct themselves as a fine dining restaurant. This review was long overdue but I will definitely be coming back to this place when Im in NYC again.

The place is small but cozy. The music is great and the staff is very kind. I came for the brunch and the food was amazing. Very delicious! The food was ready very fast as well. There is a huge table at the middle of the restaurant, but my impression is the place is good for couples, small groups and single ones looking for a peaceful place to read a book, have a small talk while have a good meal.

Broad menu. Outdoor seating is under a passageway which is nice, inside very dark. Kitchen is a little slow, but nice brunch place. Food was tastey. Service attentive. Recommend for casual weekend brunch.

Its gorgeous place. The staff is very professional, kind and quick.The food is delicious and the prices are not completely out of touch with reality.The only problem is that you probably want to try too many items as they all sound delicious, but if you arent a competitive eater youll probably have to come back a few times ;) I certainly will come back!

This restaurant turned out to be the star of our 4 day trip! We had an early breakfast here and EVERYTHING about this place was spot on. The greeting was warm, our waiter was excellent, and the food and drinks were exceptional quality. I had an omelet with 5 ingredients including mushrooms and tomatoes--super fluffy, fresh and tasty. I ordered coffee, which turned out to be exactly what I needed to jumpstart my day--strong, black, and Colombian. The waiter encouraged me to try their orange juice too. Im glad I did, because it was freshly squeezed and at perfect temperature. This place will impress you--visiting cool restaurants in NYC is always a treat, and this place gets the #1 spot for this trip to the Big Apple.

A really nice place. I think it’s kind of underrated on the drinks but overall definitely a really nice place. The eggs Benedict crabcake is fantastic. The only reason it’s getting a four-star is because the toast was a little over toasted. The quinoa salad was delicious. Definitely a five star salad by again to get five stars it’s got to be perfect unfortunately couple of the burnt spots on the toast knocked it down to at least a 4.5 but still, the old fashion and Mojitos were fantastic total bill the tip is about 100 bucks.

We wanted to get one last good meal in before heading home. You will not be disappointed. We had the Shrimp and Caviar Benedict and the Havous Rancheros. The restaurant is small but very cute.

Wife and I came here on 12/28/24. She order an omelette and I ordered eggs Benedict with steak and a smoothie. Eggs Benedict was served on sourdough instead of an English muffin. I had to ask about my smoothie twice. The menu my meal came with roasted potatoes but none came out. I asked about it twice and was told the second time that the meal doesnt come with potatoes. I asked to see the menu and literally show them where it says +roasted potatoes.Overall the food was good but service was lackluster.

Located just a stone’s throw away from the Gershwin Theatre, this restaurant is the perfect place to eat either before or after a show. It’s beautiful and cozy inside. Came for brunch. Small space but they really pack folks in so it is a little cramped when people are walking around. I got the chocolate chip pancakes and they were delicious and fluffy. SO got the crab cake Benedict and it was bland. Service was good given how busy they were at the time. I was told by the hostess there was a one hour time limit which makes sense with the space so maybe not the place to hang for a while, but would recommend if you’re close by!

AMAZING!! From the moment we set down to the time we left! The food, the customer service was top notch. We came back 2 days later the host remembered us along with Peter who was hands down one of the best waiters Ive encountered! If in New York please check this place out!

Came in early, put our name on the waiting list to be seated, they said they would text/call us after 15-20mins. After 40 mins, we still havent heard from them so we went to ask, the waiter actually didnt put our names at all (they said system bug...) and seated us at the most inconvient table (next to the entrance).Food was ok, service was alright.

A bit pricey, but great food. We ate outside in the arcade, but the inside had a great, intimate vibe.

Everything was great except for the coffee! (It was just not hot enough for me) Loved the vibe inside, and the waiter was nice enough to let us sit inside when the table opened up. Saw people constantly coming in in the morning so maybe go early.

Good place for casual breakfast/brunch. Service was friendly but a little slow. Crab Benedict could have used a bit more Hollandaise and the eggs were a bit over cooked if you like a rtruly unny yolk, but the potatoes were delicious and the iced coffee served in a mason jar. You cant hate that.

My husband and I visited for brunch this past weekend. What a neat little place! The hostess did a great job of managing the groups waiting and entertaining us. Once we were seated, the food was excellent! My husband had a custom omelette and I had the pumpkin stuffed french toast. Both were excellent! They had a wide selection of teas, which made me excited as a dedicated tea drinker. We will definitely be back!

Mediocre, overpriced food. Extremely cramped, dark atmosphere. Barely any room to move. Depending on how big your party is you may be sharing a table with strangers. The only saving grace is the brownie sundae.

This was an OpenTable recommendation, Im just in town for a few days for family, and its walking distance from my hotel.But what a nice find. Okay, finding the door was a slight challenge, but who doesnt have a sense of humor in 0° weather. But once youre inside youre greeted by warm friendly London Soho pub vibes, and friendly staff who sat us quickly.Its a small place, probably 40 people is a squeeze. But its charming and the old movies projected on the wall, together with the big warm light bulbs and lots of dark wood make it very comfortable.We tabled 3 appetizers, the calamari, chicken pot stickers, and crab cake sliders. I find breaded calamari generally dull, but its a crowd pleaser, I get it. This was a decent version of it. Same with pot stickers, well made, quality and tasty. Crab cake sliders were a standout, although the deep fry approach might need rethinking. Tasty and quickly vanished, all good.My main was the ahi tuna with wasabi mash. This is another plate you can get in lots of similar places, but its very rare that its executed this well. Did I say well, I meant flawless. Not a watercress strand out of place; fantastic fish, amazing textured crust, perfect potatoes. Whoever cooked that dish, well done. First class.Dessert was another example of how you put a common theme on the table with flawless execution. Salted caramel cake with matching caramel toffee ice cream can often go wrong. Too salty, too gooey, too boring. Not here. Everything just came together.Service was very good. Perfect speed. Perfect amount of attention. Friendly and knowledgeable.Youre looking at about $100 each for a regular drink and 3 courses. Thats a bargain for this kind of quality in this location.Great meal.

Very nice service. A little hidden but very busy and cozy spot with long tables and some smaller tables. Also a full bar is running, seats at the bar as well.Menu has a huge variety and customizable choices as well.You can pretty much create your own omelette from meats to cheese to veggies etc. Eggs Benedict is a little drier than usual but still good taste.

I had read lovely comments about The Blue Dog, and decided to take my daughter there for her 15th birthday. Not the best decision taken, though. Atmosphere was fine, but waiters were not especially nice. Regarding the food... we both ordered two burgers, and they were so so so dry, so bad! that we decided not to eat them after 2 or 3 bites. We were tempted to order a piece of cake, but thinking about how awful had been the experience with the burgers, we skiped dessert. Waiters having being informed of the issue with the food did not even offer another option, or even apologise. They just said this is what you get when you ask for a well-done burger. Is this comment normal?I strongly advise you NOT to go there, unless you wish to have a bad service and inedible food.

Good brunch place with classic bites. The space was small and had an interesting layout. Not the best place for large groups but fine for 2-3 people. Highly recommend trying to make a reservation if you’re coming here.

One of the best brunches I had in the city! We had huevos rancheros and steak and eggs, both dishes were just excellent! I liked the place so much that I made reservations for later this week to take my wife. The line outside the place tells the whole story. Very recommended!

Very very small space with barley any AC. Servers were super nice but unfortunately when i got my food…. I had a receipt in it… i didn’t notice until i took a bite and tasted it. Very friendly about trying to fix it,… but none of us felt comfortable eating much after this. Also they ask you how you want your burger cooked and we all asked for different temperatures and they all came out the same. Would recommend you go spend your $$$ somewhere else. Also this place is not ADA accessible to sit inside

Food was very mediocre and not worth the price. You can definitely get better in NYC. Chef thought that barley risotto was gluten free, so be careful dining here with allergies.

We had a really great experience at the blue dog! The food was really nice, and at a decent price. The service was nice, quick, and had a cozy atmosphere. I highly recommend the salted caramel and chocolate cake with gelato. It was quite yummy! This was a great place to eat before you see a show on Broadway. Reserve a table, it’s super easy!

Great for outdoor brunch in the COVID world! Seating area is pleasantly breezy even on a hot day. Our breakfast was very delicious and service was great. So glad the outdoor seating was comfortable instead of baking in the hot sun!

Brunch on 2/15/2024. Walked up and was able to score a table for 3 outside, and Steve sat us right away. Breakfast options were wonderful , and the gamut of options. Ultimately, 3 plates and one for the table. Service great, conversation with Steve was great, location great. Will be back.

We loved having brunch here! This place is phenomenal. The atmosphere and ambiance was warm, intimate with dim lighting inside along with some excellent oldies music. Our waiter was a very nice guy. We ordered the crab cakes and steak and eggs. Delicious! All four of us were very satisfied. The coffee was good too. We wouldnt hesitate to come back here.

Definitely worth 5 star reviews. Waited 20 minutes to get in. Host was a very kind tall gentleman that seemed to be running this well oiled machine of a restaurant. We had a lovely seat for 2 near the window. We were lucky to get waiter Boris from Macedonia. He was top notch and so sweet and thoughtful. Everyone that worked here seemed to genuinely look happy. The fresh squeezed orange juice was amazing. I got the huevos con chirzo also amazing. Daughter got the French toast which was literally out...of...this...world. Who is cooking these??? You are a culinary genius. We will be back!

Very good. The short rib sliders or whatever was great and very tender. My husband got the notorious d.o.g burger and loved it. Wanted to go for breakfast/brunch but they closed on like Monday and Tuesday or something. Maybe next visit.

Absolutely incredible food and cocktails. My party got the short rib Benedict, salmon platter, French onion soup, and croque madame, EVERYTHING WAS A HIT! The cocktails were smooth and delicious and the servers are very kind especially Dionisio! Highly recommend

Had brunch with coworkers. It’s a small space. We had a reservation, so we expected to have our own table. Instead, we were seated at a “common table”. It’s fine I guess. The food though was so good. I ordered the benedict with grilled avocado. It came with salad which was tasty, and potatoes. My coworker also commented that their coffee was the best she had. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The waiter was patient and welcoming when we asked him to take our pictures. We had a wonderful experience, and would love to go back again soon.

Steven was awesome. Very nice and made sure we were having great and attentive service with water always being refilled. Also gave us nice advice about being new to the city. Definitely recommend!

I was here for breakfast. Ordered Benedict traditional and Benedict crab cake. Crab cake was a bit spicy, but nice. Asked for side order of pancakes, but instead got full order for $19. That’s my only complain. It is also a bit pricey for two $100 with a tip. Nevertheless liked it here.

Went to there place in bocA. They steal from there customers. Ive been going there on Tuesday nights for months. Never realized Ive been double tipping. Bartenders never told me tip was included. They hide it on one of there receipts. Tried to contact corporate never received a response. DIRTY

This place has amazing brunch options. Eggs Benedict, French toast, Chicken and Waffle were all delicious. I literally had my breakfast at blue dog three days in a row during my stay in NYC. The place is bit cramped but food is all worth it.
