There are a ton of beers. Not a great liqour selection. The staff make this place great though! Very attentive.
This spot is perfect for anyone who loves beer. They offer an impressive variety of beers along with delicious cocktails. The seating is roomy, and the decor is stylish and inviting. I can’t wait to visit again to try their food. If youre in the mood for quality beer or a great drink, this is the place to be. Its also highly recommended for larger groups.
Second time visiting here on a trip to NYC. Really fun selection of beers and the nachos are 👌🏼 recommend this spot for a chill night. Staff were really friendly and helpful.
Nice atmosphere inside, decent, nonalcoholic options, and genuinely one of the best pretzels I’ve ever had in my life
Really cute spot to go to for some drinks and snacks. All their drinks are premixed which was interesting, and the moscow mule was very tasty! I loved the decor also. Would love to go back and try some of their beers!
Cool beer bar in Hell’s Kitchen. Found myself a dark spot with air conditioning on a hot day. Food was excellent too. Very pricey though. $12 for many of the beers. $5 happy hour (for $10 beers, which were a few). All the beers were good that I drank. I do wish they allowed tastings as I didn’t want to commit to a full pint of 8% blackberry hibiscus sour. But I did anyway. And it was great, not too blackberry-y.
Been here 3 times now over the past year.Ambience is nice: Modern Industrial and lively crowd. Many Beers on Tap and different pouring sizes. They do not let you try beers but have small 4oz Pour.First two experiences were 5/5 with friendly and attentive bartenders. My most recent experience was a bit off. Bartenders seemed a bit less enthusiastic and did not really get good energy from them. After first drink closed out and left.
One of the best beer menus I’ve come across in NYC. I’ve been here a couple of times and the taps moves quickly (also a good variety of cans/bottles), which makes it all very fresh, but also allows for a new variety of brews every time you go. The menu is also very diverse—IPAs, stouts, sours, etc.Food is good—just what you need at a beer bar...small menu, nothing too fancy, but good quality.Bartenders know what they’re talking about—they are beer fans, not just pouring beer. They now how to pour the different types and they have a great glass selection. It’s easy to make a decent list of beers, but the service here takes it to the next level!
How can a simple bar be perfect? Be As Is. Music is always spot on. Kevin and Diana are the best. I can’t tell you how much I love this place
Great beer list. Excellent service. Really good food. I enjoyed the falafel pita and my wife said the BLT was the freshest tasting BLT she’s ever had.
Any beer lover must visit this place. You can have flights of beers in small glasses to enjoy multiple genres/types/brands of beer
Prices in NYC drive me crazy, haha. $45 for 3 lagers (1 local and 2 from a different state) and 1 very small pale ale (basically a taster). Thats before a tip. Whats more important, the beers were good, although could be a tad colder imo
Not sure what happened to this place but I’ve noticed a trend over the last few visits. Draft selection has worsened (the only full pour IPAs were two Threes brewing ones, which can be found at your local Whole Foods), and the rest of the pours are 8oz for around $12.I know times have changed but this place used to have a much better selection at fair prices, and now it’s hard to justify making a trip to Hell’s Kitchen for a “wine pour” of good-but-not-great IPAs. When you spend over $60 for four 8oz pours of beer, you know shrinkflation is a real epidemic.
I’ve been coming here for years and realized I had never left a review on here. Best craft beer hands down in HK and one of the best in the city. Great selection on tap of all styles of beer - I’m an IPA drinker and they’re always solid. Good cocktails on tap also for those not wanting beer, get the crispy chicken sandwich for the win 👌
Great little craft ale bar! Recommend by a friend and it didn’t disappoint. I will definitely be visiting again the next time i am in the city.
Came for happy hour which is from 5-6. Bartenders were very friendly and knowledgeable! I loved the Other Half IPA that the bartender recommended. My cocktail was also delicious and not too sweet.
Can here for drinks after dinner and love the atmosphere in this small bar! It was busy for a week night which is always a good sign! Recommend to stop in for a quick drink or a bite to eat. Cant wait to try the food next time!
Pour selection was top notch. They had all the regional favorites, definitely a great spot for beer nerds. No flights, but every beer has a 4oz option. Food goes beyond the expectations of elevated pub fare, serves as a reminder that youre in Hells Kitchen. Atmosphere around 4-5pm was great, quiet with good music. Checked it out again briefly around 7 and it was packed, but was able to order within 30 seconds of walking in.
Great modern local bar with great food and beer selections.
One of my favorite places in the entire city - amazing beer selection, french fries are unreasonably good
Small craft beer bar with good eats and service. I appreciated them making the nachos vegan and they were delicious! Had taps from places like Hill Farmstead, Carton, and Finback. Seemed to serve localish beer and offered some unusual styles. You can get pours of almost all the beers in different sizes to suit your preference.
Best bar in midtown west that I can think of. Perfect beer selection, but snap up the most interesting ones, since they may run out! Nice casual yet classy atmosphere and service. Good blend of local and international craft beer. Can buy smaller sizes if you want to test different brews, but they are not included in the dollar off happy hour. If i lived in the neighborhood I would be there too often. A little far west, in Hells Kitchen.
When I went, big crowd, tiny place, but shelving the doubts paid off. Bar service was amazing and the vibe was friendly like a neighbourhood pub with total strangers becoming friends. 20 excellent and diverse beers to choose from. Order 4oz size if you want to try many of them. My veg wrap was excellent and kitchen open late.
The cocktails are terrible. Premixed, weak, taste like they both contain IPA beer when they shouldn’t. Really dissatisfying. Service was basic and unappealing. The best part is the place it’s self as it looks nice. I’ve put 1 * for food as drinks isn’t an option. We didn’t eat. The pictures is of the papi chulo and a classic margarita. Do not recommend cocktails, hopefully their beer is good for those who like beer. $33 for bad cocktails is not worth it.
So this was an amazing find. My friend and I just walked in since the place we originally wanted to go to was closed and this place seemed like a cute little beer paradise in New York City. They have such lovely plants in all corners that gives the place a cosy vibe and the beers are so great here. Lots of varities to choose from. Definitely a must visit for all my fellow beer lovers out there.
They are scammers!!!!! Don’t go to this place!!!I’ve been there recently, got only one drink and bartender didn’t give me my receipt for it. So he was like “you are fine, don’t worry”. It was my mistake of course I did not stand for the receipt to protect myself in the future but I did not know they will do something like that. This bartender charged my card ON HIS OWN desire for the tips. I’m shocked!!!!How dare are you??? I will report you guys for the scam!!! It’s illegal to use my personal credit card information to add more money than it should be. Who gave you permission to use my credit card?????
Everything correct, we ordered 7 drinks. As soon as we finished the last drink the server with a piercing in the nose kicked us out because we were not consuming anymore (the bar was empty). Overall experience good but ruined by this at the end
Great ambiance, service, snacks and cocktails! Best Negroni in NYCStrongly recommendedSorry arti-fartie pictures will not do any justiceTrust me, THE only bar that uses Capano-Antico/Antico-formula for Negroni, it is the most delicious Vermouth and it compliments really well with Negroni
Nice bar with lots of beers. I tried the number 19 with lemon. Very refreshing!Downside: beer called large is only 40cl and 10$…… and today the ac was off. But: cool atmosphere, beer and music!
Really cool place. Excellent beer list and good atmosphere. Other half, tired hands, Grimm and evil twin were all making an appearance when I stopped by. Also, make sure you ask what cans they have as I lucked out.
Love the atmosphere here! Beers are very good. The bartender really did not care to help me figure out what was on one of the salads there lol. “Theres a bunch of stuff on it”. I said whatever I’ll take it and it was pretty good!
Extensive selection of local and regional beers on tap! It was great to see something for everyone and not a single style [of beer] taking over. The staff was friendly and informative, and the food was generously portioned.I had the pulled pork sandwich which was nicely spiced with a very generous portion of pork.As for beers, I had a Hills Farmstead (out of Vermont) of first and last things (IPA) before my meal, and a Drowned Lands (out of NY) Scythe (Forder fermented pumpkin beer).Great spot for someone who enjoys beers!
Great beer bar, amazing tap list, great service.
As Is was recommended over on /r/nycbeer, and I think it lived up to its reputation. Taps look like they rotate quickly, and they have a good mix of styles to please everyone.Ill admit that I was slightly disappointed because I looked at the menu 3-4 days before we were able to stop in, and the beer list looked even better.Im glad we stopped in, and if Im in the area again in the near future, Ill be having another flight (or two).
LOVE this place. FTR, there are signs saying they do Tasters, Half pours, and Full pours. Great atmosphere, delicious selection of unusual beers, and informative staff.
Got a few drinks at As Is prior to a show at Carnagie hall. What an excellent choice! The beer list is top notch, if you like truly excellent beer from a variety of local producers, this is the right spot.Atmosphere and service just add to the experience, as the space is very attractive, and the service is excellent. The staff are amiable and unquestionably know their stuff. One of the best beer drinking experiences Ive had. I highly recommend As Is if you have discerning taste, youll be sure to enjoy!Oh, and I had some chicken with my beer which was also delicious and well made, paired perfectly with the high ABV offerings...its not recommended to split a bottle on an empty stomach!
Wont let you taste a beer without buying it. The place a block away welcomes you in by saying, Hey, let me know if theres any beer you would like to taste.
Rude and unwelcoming bar with a policy of not giving samples as they offer small sizes. What this means is paying 14 dollars for two thimblefuls of totally average beer. Avoid avoid avoid.
No espresso martinis or variations on drinks. Every drink is to the menu. Cute place but disappointing on the drink options
This is a great place for someone who enjoys drinking beer. They have a good selection of beers as well as nice cocktails. Seating is spacious and decor is really nice. Would recommend for big groups.
As Is is one of the most underrated bars in NYC. I’ve checked out a my fair share of bars all over the city but none hit the spot quite like this one.The #1 thing I love about As Is is the ambience and welcoming atmosphere inside. It gives you dive bar vibes at first glance but it’s actually very classy. There’s a good amount of tables and seating so it’s perfect for a date night or a group hangout with friends.I also love the eclectic menu of drinks they offer from beers to wine to fancy cocktails, all at a very reasonable price. I’d recommend the last word if you like gin based cocktails or the arlo if you like a good sour.
As Is NYC is a great place to grab a beer or cocktail after work. They have a wide variety of beers and cocktails. I had the negroni, its classic and really good. The bartenders are kind and they work efficiently. It can get packed and loud so you may share a tall long table with other party. I went on a Wednesday around 19:30 and there was not much space available so just keep it in mind. Great place, I will go back!
This is one of my favorite craft beer bars in New York City. The prices are fair and they have a constantly rotating list of beers to choose from. The bartenders are knowledgeable and will help you find the beer thats right for you.
I stumbled upon an amazing beer bar in Hells Kitchen and snagged a comfortable, dimly lit seat with air conditioning—ideal for beating the heat. The food was excellent, albeit on the pricey side. Most beers were around $12, though a few dropped to $10, and happy hour brought them down to $5. Every brew I sampled was outstanding. I only wish they offered tasting flights, as I hesitated to commit to a full pint of an 8% blackberry hibiscus sour. Despite my uncertainty, I went for it, and it was a pleasant surprise, with just the right hint of blackberry.
True beer nerd-dom. Nice space. V good bar food. Cocktails too.
Great find! Carlos was an awesome bartender. Friendly, knowledgeable and the selection is top notch. You can get three sizes of the various beers that they have on tap. Bar seating and tables. I love As Is! My new favorite place in Hell’s Kitchen.
THE BEST CRAFT BEER IN THE CITY! Hands down the best experience that I’ve had at a bar in NYC. Great, fast, friendly customer service. Very nice ambiance, great for groups or just an intimate time with one other person. Very clean and we certainly felt safe here as they do adhere to COVID standards. It does get busy but the beer is certainly worth the wait. They have double IPA’s that have the perfect amount of hops and no weird aftertaste. It provided the perfect environment for an amazing night of drinking and enjoyment. I highly recommend coming here.
I looked for a bar in midtown and came upon As Is NYC. They had many beer selections on draft so I was excited abt it, but the beer was not cold. Their self-serve water in a cooler was colder than the draft beer I ordered. It was a hot summer day and the AC was not a good temperature as well. I definitely would like a cold cold beer on draft if I paid $12 for the pint. They also only had one cocktail that was made with vodka. It was mostly gin bourbon and tequila. If you are in a mood for delicious cocktail, not much selection here. However the bartenders were kind.
Low-key craft beer bar with an excellent selection of local and national brews. Ample seating and little nooks to hide away in. Not too loud and lets you hear the people youre with. Bartender was good, and I love how they opened my tab without holding on to my card.
I love this place and have been coming here for years now. I love the food and the always impressive beer list. The bartender today was so incredibly cold (out of character for their staff), so much as to taint the great food and great beer. It’s never pleasant when the majority of your time spent with friends is commenting on how unwelcoming the bartender is, I hope I don’t run into this guy again.
They have one of the best selections of craft beer in the city. Always carry a wide selection of beer for all types of palettes through their choice of twenty drafts or their list of dozens of cans. In addition, their cocktail list has a nice balance for individuals that may not want to drink any craft beer. Lastly, their friendly and knowledgeable staff are very courteous and helpful in helping to decide exactly what you want from their extensive list.
A hidden gem on the far west side of town. An excellent rotation of brews on both bottles and drafts(20+) . Knowledgeable bartenders can definitely help you figure out whats the best brew for you. Great place for an adventure beer seeker. Price is decent.
The food is mediocre for the price but the ambience was nice. I would have had a great time dining there except one particular bartender was extremely rude. We had to wait 15 minutes to get his attention just to close out our tab as he kept letting other people jump in front of us. When I finally got the bartenders attention, he gives me MAJOR attitude and mocks me. This spot clearly has not taught their staff how to effectively and respectfully communicate with their customers. Would not come again.
I love everything about this place, its right next to my apartment so I used to hang out there, amazing beers, love the decoration and the place and the METS
Amazing beer bar in Hell’s Kitchen - one of the best selections of craft and local beers in the city. Will always find something you love and something you didn’t expect! Great, knowledgeable bar staff. Also home base for the Manhattan Mikkeller Run Club that meets for group runs and beers every Wednesday night.
Amazing craft beer spot! Great selection and super chill atmosphere. Great place for a date or just to chill with some buds, or even solo! They offer tasting portions which allows you to easily try a lot of what they have on offer.
Quite possibly the greatest, most consistent every day craft beer tap list in the city. The ambiance is great, with a variety of seating options, and it has a bit of an upscale, classy vibe inside.Only down side, if youre a craft beer nerd, is that this place is a bit of a hip location, so it can be loud, crowded, and not as personalized as you may get at some other beer-nerd locales. However, the tap list is worth it every time.
Rare to see the option for half pours! Nice selection of beers. Great place for a group during happy hour. Indoor and outdoor seating available.
Great neighborhood bar with constantly rotating selection of beer on tap. Love that they do 5 oz pours if you want to do some sampling. Get there before 7pm to snag a stool because it can get jammed with the after-work crowd. Modern, but warm space and a welcome add to the area.
Good food, even better beers. A revolving list of craft beers of every style. Theres an extensive bottle list to choose from if the 20 taps dont have what your looking for. Price is just right and if your not sure you can get quarter or half glasses to give something a try. Having a noon to 7 happy hour Mon through Fri is also nice.
One of the best craft beer bars on the W.S, if not the whole city. Their tap selection is always fantastic, food is superb. Music is always top notch. Owners and bartenders are great and nice people.
Excellent beer selection with a great staff to guide you through what they have. Draft list is extremely solid and their bottle list is very extensive. Thanks to Mike & Arielle for making my visit a memorable one!
Great selection of beers and a great atmosphere. Nice to be in a bar where the staff know their beers and were able to make good recommendations.Well worth a visit
Service was great! Drinks were great! And food was great!
I had been wanting to come here for a while, on the recommendation of a friend, and the beer list did not disappoint for both variety and sheet size, but wow was it loud. Like I get it, people will talk in a bar, thats beautiful. Should we have to yell and strain our ears to talk with the person sitting next to us at a beer bar that purports to be more than a rave? Right. 5 stars for beer, 3 stars for making my ears ring.
A nice space, quiet on a Monday evening, really superb craft selection with excellent mixture of styles in 20+ taps. No casks. A few hard to find breweries on the list - kudos to the beer curator. The bartender was not so well versed in beer culture , but thats not so bad maybe shell learn with time. Food was ok, the lobster roll was delicious but extremely small, not a meal, the wings were not crispy and hot was not.Overall I came here for some beer and conversation, and there are diminishingly fewer bars where you can actually hear the people youre with. There is music playing, its clearly targeted to my age group, and its not too loud that it forces everyone to talk louder. I really appreciate this aspect and coupled with the good beer this may be my new favorite spot. Not sure all this would be true on a Friday or Saturday (well the beer would still be good).
Great bar and the staff are very friendly. For a bar, the food is surprisingly good. The decor is very nice and the drinks are great. One of my favorite neighborhood spots!
As Is can take all my money. Best NYC craft beer bar because you can try beers for $4-5 before committing to a full pour. I probably average 3-4 different beers per visit (follow me on Untappd: illfayze lol)They rotate their selection frequently, and Half-Off Cellar Sundays have led to some unexpected discoveries. Staff is super nice and helpful, providing recommendations and advice for the novice sipper or the craft enthusiast.Very quality date spot + casual hangout in Hells Kitchen if you want craft beer without being locked into $10+ per pour!
What a great bar! The decor was well put together and provided a nice atmosphere. The service was attentive. The beer selection was awesome, though could have used another stout or porter. Pricing was pretty reasonable for the city.
Im not a huge beer person, but the rotating selection here (plus a few wines and cocktails) is really nice. The biggest perk here is the option to order 4 oz. servings, which is about as much as I ever want of any given beer before trying another one.
Great beer bar in Hell’s Kitchen. Came across this by accident while visiting a friend and this was after I had searched for best craft beer bars in NYC and this wasn’t on anyone’s list (it should be!) loved the space and selection of beer. Food menu looked great as well but all we had was the pretzel which was outstanding. Highly recommend!
Nice place, good ambience. I went there a while back for New Year’s actually, after a party and even the bar food was nice. Not a wine place so you go with cocktails or beer. I stop by there every now and then and have a quick drink w friends
Good beers, but they kindda scammed me. The barwoman put high tip on the bill after my payment. I think 50% without I even see it. I noticed this when later i checked my bank account.
Very expensive, good beer but the most expensive bar we went on this trip (or dozen of other NYC visits) especially as they served smaller glasses than expected (wasnt clear to me from.tbr board).
Amazing beer selection - always changing with lots of wonderful surprises! Additionally they have some wonderful cocktails on tap and very delicious food. Love this place!
I didnt like that they dont give tastes of beers according to one guy who may have been the manager, I think named Mark. I just got off work at my own beer bar and he had no time for me. I asked for a taste of a beer from my own home town. It wasnt busy.
Best beer bar in the city! Always an interesting line up of local and regional craft beers.
Great selection of craft beers and has full bar. Didnt get to try their food but it looked good. Staff was very friendly and glad I got to know them over the several times I visited during my week here in NYC
Really niche spot that is really well described. If your into craft drinks that taste great, it totally worth it.
They dont let you sample the beer, no need to go there and guess what the beer may taste like - there are plenty of places close by that let you sample their beers.
Great bar with a large selection of beers. The bites are exquisite but relatively expensive: smashed potatoes with aioli, assorted cheeses, sandwiches.I like to face the window and watch traffic flow by. Its peaceful and cozy. You order at the bar but they bring the food to your table.
Great food, drinks, service, and vibes. Hits all four! I was really impressed by their beer and wine selection, huge range and a lot of interesting flavors. I love that they have an orange wine and a chilled red! We also got fries and shrimp tacos, delicious. The music was changing genres as the night went on and it always perfectly complimented the atmosphere!
Left my wallet here and i came back the next day and my cash was still there. Top notch honesty. Beer and service are great.
You can get great drinks in a lot of places, but the service here was a cut above. The bartenders were incredibly nice and cool. The vibe was perfect. Go here
Cool place, loads of different beers on tap - exactly what i was looking for. Quite a few local brews and some from abroad.
Solid upscale neighborhood watering hole with a cozy feel. Though undoubtedly focused on beer with ~20 taps of curated craft brews, it has something for everyone (e.g., orange wine for the sommalier-inclined) with a respectable bar menu offering well executed takes on classic pub fare on small plates or in large spreads to share.
Great taplist (including barleywine!), cool atmosphere, and was fairly easy to get a seat earlier in the evening. Would definitely hit this place again.
As Is sports an ever-changing menu of interesting craft beers and always has great sours and IPAs, better than average bar food, a handful of natural wines, and good draft cocktails by Brandon Duff.
By far the best craft beer bar in NYC. Not to mention their cocktails, food, and Amaro are super on point. All the staff are lovely humans. I love this place!
Fun place to go with a group on a Friday night. It wasn’t too crowded but not dead either. They’ve got all the craft beers you want, I had an excellent sour and i was able to hear my friends speak, which is nice.
I threw a 30th birthday party for my fiancé and it was perfect! The food and drinks were great, and the staff was so nice and accommodating!
Honestly one of the best pubs we’ve come across. We researched which places to visit and this one was highly recommended. The nachos were delicious and beautifully presented. Enough as a snack for 3!Completely different beers that normally - we tried the sour IPA and it was so unique! Just give it a visit and enjoy a cool pub!
Great local bar with house cocktails. Good prices friendly staff great food. A nice spot to start off the night or end the day.
What an amazing find! Love the vibe, the decor and the wide array of beer. Particularly loved their sour ale and hoppy beers today.
As is has a fantastic array of beers on offer to go with a very chilled vibe and reasonably quick service. The music isnt really contemporary and the prices are fair but this place is worth a visit simply for the fantastic variety of food on offer.
The beer menu is spectacular, the pity is that they dont let you try a beer before ordering it.
Something of its own in the neighborhood. If youre looking to escape the scene of Hells Kitchen, go to As Is. It has a Brooklyn feel, proper music and good beers. One thing they could do is add some kind of happy hour.
Quite a nice place.
One of the best craft beer bars in NYC. Always an interesting and eclectic tap list with top notch bartenders, a great layout, dope music, and good vibes. Im a fanboy
I went there on a Friday 4pm. The bar was full and a couple tables had people, but nothing crazy. But somehow the service was beyond terrible. The bartender (male with a very thick beard) did not speak to me once. When he finally comes over to take my order, he just looks at me and then I say the drink. He gives the drink to me and walks away. He was talking to and engaging with everyone else at the bar - they were all men. I believe a couple women were at the opposite end of the bar but I couldn’t see or hear anything to know their interaction. He keeps coming to the men on either side of me asking if they’re good, meanwhile my glass is pretty much empty that it would be time to check in if I want another drink…silence. I kept trying to get my check, still nothing. Luckily a woman started her shift and she helped me close out. I don’t come here too often, but often enough that I know the vibe. And I have never had any experience like this before. Given this (lack of) interaction, I am okay crossing this off my neighborhood bar list for a while.
Fantastic neighborhood bar! Perfect spot to meet a friend or two after work, unwind, and chat. Beer list is long and impressive. Vibe is chill, without pretense.
Great spot. Not the cheapest, but not gonna break the bank either, and worth the price. Bartenders really know their stuff, I almost always just order based on their recommendations, and Ive never been disappointed.
Nice and comfy place to have beer but beer serving size is bit small for it worth. You may just come here to have few drinks before dinner.
Such a little swanky place! Absolutely loved it, great craft beer selection with a small but nice wine selection. Got a real warm feel to it and gets very busy in the arvo
Amazing beer place!
Really good variety of beer, even a cider or two and some wine. Surprisingly good casual eats, try the nachos. But... A little pretentious, service is just OK if not understaffed.
Great spot to grab a beer and some food. Excellent service, bar staff is super knowledgeable. Its one of the best spots in the city to get good beer
Great affordable craft beers. Loved the sour ales. #19 pumpkin spice LIC sour hour and #13 Wakefield orange dreamsicle tasted great and exactly as advertised.
Bartender was really nice and there was a large choice of beer, however, there was no diversity in types of beer (ex. Lager, IPA, Stout).
Amazing beer list. Especially if you like sours.
Nice place for craft beers, lot of types. Cute decorations. The service is ok. They have a nice terrace.
Awesome local craft beer bar. A real find for me after doing some research I discovered that As Is NYC has the best local craft beer selection that I was looking for. The food is good as well. The service is personable and friendly. In a good location and relaxed. People enjoying good local craft beer, food, and each other.
What a great place to belly up to the bar and enjoy conversation and excellent beer. Dont miss this place!
Find a veritable cornucopia of the finest craft beers at As Is
Great beer, awesome atmosphere and the bartender was fabulous.
Lives up to the hype as best beer bar in Manhattan. Also great food and never too crowded for lunch. Just a skip away from your midtown office!
Perfectly curated menu, relaxing warm and inviting atmosphere. Changing drink menu, so always a surprise. Amazing - I would not hesitate for a visit.
Good beer selection and nice interior design. A bit overpriced though and terrible acoustics make it hard to stay in here for more than one or two drinks.
Nice ambient atmosphere! Would definitely recommend this place! Drinks are nice and people preparing them are super cool!
As Is offers a great selection of food and drinks in a well designed space. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. It’s definitely worth the trip over to check this place out.
Great selection of beers, including rare and international selections. Prices on the high side, but def one of the better options in the neighborhood.
Interesting craft beers including a great local selection. They offer lots of different sizes so its easy to sample.
Excellent bar for craft beers. Great ambient, great craft beer selection, lots of local crafts, all crafts in mint condition, reasonable prices.
Nice beer and great price. Love this Place. Staff and Management are awesome too.
Great cocktails, beer on tap options were excellent, and the chicken sandwich was great!
Great local spot for beers. They have over a dozen different type of beers on tap you can choose from! They also come in different sizes, so you can try different beers without having to try a full pint each time.
Great beer selection, vibrant atmosphere, helpful and attentive bar staff.
I was killing time one day, so I stopped in on a Friday afternoon for a beer. Im really into craft beer so I was very excited when I found this place. Their selection was amazing and they really had stuff that you cant get anywhere else. I also like that they have smaller pours. I didnt get the food, but it looked good. Would go back.
Tremendous beer list. Beautiful bar. Good music. Friendly bartender s. Top notch place.
Nachos were the most mediocre nachos I have ever had and they cost eighteen whole dollars. Was the cheese made of gold???Oh wait there was hardly any cheese on them.
Love this bar. Great beers, good food, good atmosphere. Just a fun neighborhood bar.
Poor wine selection, OK sliders and great vibe. Overall not bad, beer selection seems really good, but poor food selection is a huge negative.
Small, straight forward hole in the wall craft beer spot. Good selection and quality.
Excellent craft beers, the IPA options were delicious. I had the nachos , you can share this its huge.
Great place great staff and a great crowd tons of fun
Amazing beer. Amazing food. Its not 200 characters or more but thats all you need to know.
Amazing beers on tap. Pours available in smaller sizes. I enjoyed sitting at the window watching the street outside on a nice day
The beer selection here is great, add a few of their tasty fish tacos and that is wonderfully yummy
I loved this spot! The beer selection is really creative and they have orange wine for crying out loud. They also have no problems charging your phone for you while youre there which is super nice.
A lovely beer pub with class. Friendly crew, wide variety of drink and not too crowded.
Nice selection of beer and the food is pretty solid as well!
Nice atmosphere, wide selection of untapped Brew but it had a very gentrification feel to it and the jurys still out
Had the best spicy crispy chicken sandwich here Ive ever had. Good craft beer too.
Amazing service the bartender is a great guy, the Food was good but the menú its a little one
Best beer bar in NY. Staff is excellent and friendly. This is my happy place.
The policy of this place is ridiculous, no samples, what if I dont like the beer I asked for? So no tip for the 2 bartenders. And I give a 0 to the bartender that asked me for his tip.
Always the most interesting craft beer selection in Manhattan, with a great kitchen to match.
Great place to stop and have a bite to eat and a great drink. Beautiful bar with a nice atmosphere to catch up with friends.
Amazing craft beer selection! Very good food!
Solid beer selection. Plenty of cascade which is a nice touch.
Great spot with good craft beer nice seating with a street view.
Amazing drink options and the staff there is super friendly. I can’t wait to be a regular here.
Still serving one of the most interesting selections of beer in NYC. An amazing hidden gem on 10th Ave.
Awesome place for the large beer selection and good environment
Stopped here one afternoon as I was walking by.Great beer selection. Really nicely designed spot. Will def come back here again.
I dont get here often but when I do the place never disappoints as they have a very well curated draft list with a lot of variety and some rare drafts as well.If you are in the area certainly stop by.
Yummy late nite food. Aewsome and clean
The food was fine. The craft beer selection is impressive. The tall blond-haired bartender had quite the attitude. There are hundreds of other bars in the city with, one would hope, a more polite staff. This is the first and last time that I’ll walk into this place. I’ll leave it as is…
Great craft beer selection, draft cocktails, solid charcuterie plate. Cool spot!
Great beer selection and good atmosphere without being too stuffy.
Great food and drinks!! Meyer lemon pepper wings were on special and absolutely cooked to perfection!
Out of the ordinary beers on tap and mixed drinks. Comfortable. Nothing exotic. A good hang out.
Absolutely a good beer place!
Cool craft bar with lots of different beer choices on tap. I actually felt like I was in a cabin in the woods at the establishment.
Great craft beer location. My only problem is they dont allow growlers of beer.
Super fun bar in Hells Kitchen and really modern vibe! Great for a beer lovers and also great selection of wines! They do live music and food as well.. we will be back!
Very rude bar staff. One guy didnt seem to like it when people asked for a drink. Pretentious and unfriendly
Expensive but easily the best craft beer bar this far uptown
Delicious food, great beer and cider selection and a friendly staff
Great place to stop with friends for a beer. Cozy vibe.
Cool bar atmosphere, lots of great beers on tap!
Great beer selection and nice staff. Will be back. 🍻
The music is a bit loud, but the service is amazing and every stuff is friendly.
Food is bad, service a bit pretentious, owner insufferable. Taps are good and that’s what’s important.
Interesting craft beer list. Quiet. The warm pretzel is delicious!
Large assortment of beer. Great vibe. Happy hour until 7.
Im here for the craftbeers. Top breweries....Hudson Valley, The Veil, etx. Urban music severely lacking.🙄
Great selection of beers, really good fries.
Best beer bar in Manhattan. They also host a run club.
Probably the prettiest bar in Hells Kitchen. Interesting collection of beers and tasty food.
Pricey, but great selection of different beers. Good food.
Great beer selection, early happy hour, apathetic bartender.
Got a good recommendation based on other beers I like.
Very awesome beers, no dumb tvs, cool music
Amazing place for unique beers, wont find anywhere else
Pretty great beer selection and nice venue.
This is my favorite craft beer bar in all of NYC. A thoughtfully curated but dynamic tap list celebrates local while having welcoming options for palettes of all kind. It’s a great place to escape and enjoy a pour or two after a long day or the perfect way to start an evening with friends. No TVs, so this isn’t the spot to go for the big game. Great conversation where you can hear them and not have to worry about a rowdy crew. Also given the selections, you will find yourself wanting to try a bunch of ‘em some nights. They have small, medium and full pours on most things on draft and it’s lovely.
My first time at As Is was exactly as it was hyped to be. Fun environment, even better beer.
Great bar, great selection, Brandon is the best barman!
Amazing food, best beer selection this side of the Mississippi
Excellent beer selection, food is great
Great taplist, friendly staff. Music isnt excessively loud - very good volume.
Great beer selection, they had a handful of barrel aged beers, which Im partial to. The music wasnt too loud, so it was great for conversation. The different beer sizes came in the same glass?
As Is has great drinks, amazing food and a really cool vibe. The servers are very nice, but I sometimes wish they had more people working, the place gets packed and trying to get an order in or closing out takes a minute. My biggest complaint is that if you sit anywhere in the front by the door, the music is so loud you cant even think, and you most definitely cant hear the person sitting next to you. But at the bar or in the back, its great.
Best beer bar in America.
14oz pints, must be inflation! Bit of a scam joint tbh. Better options in the neighbourhood.
Great selection of the best local brews in the city!!
Best craft beer bar in the city hands down.
Was excited about the beer menu. We got there, ordered a beer and it was clearly skunky. The bartender tried to play it off and defended it by saying its because the IPA wasnt juicy even after we told no that the beer has clearly gone bad. We tried to order another beer and he told us I dont want you to waste another beer ¥so we ordered smaller taster of the other IPAs and they also were clearly expired so we left... Been drinking hazys for over a decade so I know skunky vs bad taste and these beers were definitely skunky but the bartender made it 100 times worse.
