We had a wonderful dinner experience at B Side: the food was delicious, the service was friendly and attentive, and we enjoyed the outdoor covered seating. We ordered the burrata and the margarita and spicoli pizzas; the burrata was especially good, and it was the perfect amount of food for three. We will definitely return here before future Broadway shows!

The team was amazing. Everyone cares about their role and it infuses into the food and drink. They didn’t just wash the dishes and silvery, they buffed them dry. The pizza team each had roles and they worked like clockwork, and afterwards in a break moment cleaned up to prepare for next round. Sit at the bar to be entertained if you care to watch the pizza making.Great experience.

Truly the best restaurant we’ve been to. It’s hard to find the perfect blend of delicious Italian food and a non-stuffy, cool vibe. Our server, Asu, was absolutely phenomenal. The food & drinks were delicious, the whole staff was welcoming, friendly, and accommodating! We enjoyed the Marge pizza and the vodka pasta. Definitely recommend!

We went in for some pizza approximately an hour before closing time. Although there were only two other people there at the time we were not allowed to sit at a 4 top. Fair enough, however the two women next to us were sitting at a 4 top and before we left they had cleared all the menus from all other tables so it wouldn’t have mattered. We ordered two pizzas, one carbonara and one shrimp scampi, the carbonara was good but I didn’t really like the shrimp pizza, the shrimp had a defrosted wateriness. We also ordered the “roasted” broccolini, let me tell you this is not actually roasted. This is steamed or sautéed because it is very wet and limp and it is tossed together with some capers, olives and red onions. It was fine, but not that great.I will not personally be going back, my guest had wine but I had water but it was only filled once, remaining empty for the rest of the meal. The staff were very friendly though, even Jack, who did not let us sit at the four top, did end up being a polite server.

My friend and I went to B Side Pizza at 4pm (their opening) on a Wednesday. We were the only people in there for a while, but around 5pm, it started to get full. Their interior has a classy ambiance yet remains more intimate because of the size.I got the Marge ($18) and my friend got the Mr. White ($21). As previous reviewers have mentioned, the pizzas are pretty wet. However, I have an oil sensitivity and it was not triggered here, so it must have not been too bad. Personally, their ratios are a bit off to me. The pizza is so thin (which probably contributes to the wet issue), and the rest of the dough seems to be put into the crust. I would prefer a more even split, especially because parts of the crust were charred. For flavors, the margherita did not taste like the standard. It was salty and the freshness of the basil and mozzarella were not coming through. My friends white pizza had significantly better flavors!Service here was amazing! Everyone was extremely attentive, even when they started getting busy. Our water was constantly refilled. They were also extremely quick to clear plates, although that could make people feel rushed. Some people mentioned their high price point, but I feel like they are comparable with other places in the city. If they fixed the dough issue, I would not be mad at the price for the location and ambiance.

Nice vibe, unfortunately pizza wasn’t as good as it looks. The menu mentions ingredients that are not used. The server was not able to tap an IPA, the glass was almost half foam, which is wrong for IPA.Also, I had tiramisu to go which I ate as soon as I arrived home, about 30 minutes later, and it was not eatable, I had to throw it away.he served

Absolutely unique and delicious pizzas / we had the killer bee (my favorite by far), the spicoli and the marge with mushrooms. All three pizzas were really good and so different. Their wines are really good too. The service is friendly and on point. It’s definitely a very popular spot as there’s always a wait, which is a good sign. Highly recommend this spot!

Awesome place so far. Very clean, warm and cozy spot. More than a handful of red wines, white wines and beers. All their pizza are wood-fired pizzas with many combinations that you don’t see at regular pizza spots.plenary of seating. I am looking forward to my pizza. I got the Killer Bee pizza and it was a 4.2/5. Great crispy soppressetta, great olive oil, I just wish there was more honey to add that sweetness. I also got the Tiramisu which was a solid 4/5. They made both distinctly different than most restaurants. Overall awesome experience

Had a really good dinner tonight. We’re able to walk in without a reservation on Sunday night. We had the shaved Brussels sprout salad with apples and Parmesan for a starter. We then had the meat packing pizza. It’s just the right amount of toppings for the thin crispy crust. We will probably go back again before we leave. Bill was $50 without alcohol for two. Nice neighborhood place with good pizza, beer, and wine. The pizza is cooked in the bar area in a brick oven which keeps the place warm....I think the temperature of the beer is warmed by the ovens heat. They also offer draft wines. This is a cute little spot with really tasty pizza. The servers are super friendly, it has a great casual vibe and the food is tasty. We had the cacio e pepe cauliflower which was very creative and delicious, and a marge pizza with pepperoni. Great place to grab some pizza and beer in New York! My sister and I just got tired from walking around in Central Park and decided that Hells Kitchen would be a nice and cozy to rest before getting ready for more activities. First impression is that the place is very nice and cozy. It was busy so we could only seat up against the window, which provides a great view onto the street. The atmosphere would be both suitable for a romantic night out or getting together with a few friends before a game or after some drinking. The room gets loud, but not unbearable and if you are seated on the bench by the window, the level of disturbance would be minimal! We order a el puerco loco and the Don Ho. The pies come out pretty quickly, within 5 minutes or so. Stacked on top of each other. The server forgot about our drinks, but got them to us pretty quickly. The puerco loco is super delicious, if you are a meat lover - this is another great choice! The Don Ho was also very tasty with fresh basil and prosciutto. The crust is super delicious: thin and crispy just as I like most of my pizzas. Great selection of beers and wine. I loved any IPA on their menu and would recommend getting one of such to go well with your pies. Will come back again!

This delicious pizza place in Manhattan is underrated! I’m not an expert, but to me, it perfectly strikes the sweet spot between a Neapolitan and a new york style pizza. I love this place. Tried it out on a lark a couple years ago when visiting Time Square in NYC. Ive been back several times since. B Side Pizza is a small restaurant with a few tables and a counter along the windows that open to the street during good weather. The pizza and salads Ive tried have been consistency excellent. Ive tried a different salad each time, most recently the Roasted Pears salad. The first pizza I tried was the Killer Bee pizza. Ive craved it every since. That is the pizza I get every time and is the item that keeps me coming back for more. There is something about the chili oil and honey that is drizzled on the top that takes it to another level. Im already thinking about coming back next time Im in the city!

B Side is a must-go if youre looking for good pizza in Hells Kitchen. The whole menu is appetizers and pies, and thats really all it needs since they do those so well. Each pie is theoretically enough for two people, but you will definitely want your own if you have any type of appetite. We had the meatball pie and their specialty KillerBee pie (top pizza in the photo). This is a super unique pizza, with sweet chili oil and honey on it. I only ordered delivery from B Side, so this review is food specific. These pizzas are SMALL. 1 will feed about 2 people. The dough itself is fluffy, chewy, and tasty. One downside is that the individual slices are very floopy which is not great, I prefer my slices to be a bit more firm.I had the Killer bee and Tie Dye pizza. Both are sold pies, the sopressata was fantastic but I had a hard time tasting the garlic puree and the chili oil/honey didnt compliment each other. Its going for a Mikes hot honey vibe but didnt quite pull it off.The Tie-Dye is not bad but ultimately the Pesto sauce overpowers the marinara sauce instead of working with it. Its not that this place is bad. Rather, its disappointing because you can tell there is a lot of potential that is going unfulfilled.Maybe its not the A team making the food late on Sunday but right now my impression is that the place is overhyped. For the price you can do better B-Side!

New York City is filled with pizza everywhere. You can find $1 slice pizza almost at every corner. But, if you are looking for a high quality, unique, and/or super delicious pizza, that is a different story.Inside is a bit small, but not too small, with around 40 seats, of that, mainly counter seats. The entrance wall is covered with large windows, so it is nice and bright with natural lights. They have their own oven, used to bake yummy pizzas. I heard that at the B Square location, they are not allowed to have the wood fired oven due to NYC building restriction, therefore, B Side naturally have the superior pizza.Their pizzas are all just one size, and no slices. You get a beautifully crafted pizza pie, which is just the right size to share among two people. Their pizza and dessert was just amazing, and very high quality, super delicious!!!The staff (who I assume was also the manager) was really nice and friendly, he answered all of our questions, and took a very good care of us. Let me start by saying, I have never written a bad review in my life. I always give the benefit of the doubt and am not a food snob at all.I arrived at 7 and was told there would be a 10-15 min wait yet I was seating under 10 minutes! We told our waiter (also the host) that we have a show around the block at 8 so wed love to order right away. Our appetizer and drinks came immediately and were fine. We were waiting and waiting for our pizza but the place was packed and there was only one host/waiter so we were understanding. Around 7:30 we noticed people who were seated after us getting their meals. We still waited because we didnt want to be rude. At 7:40 we asked the waiter if we could pay now so when we got our pizza we could just eat and run to our show. When we asked how much longer the pizza would be, the waiter literally responded you didnt get your food yet!? Keep in mind he was the ONLY person working so he shouldve known if he gave us our main course or not. At that point we didnt have time to wait for a pizza to be made so we just paid for our appetizer and drinks....: absurd.

One of my favorite places to eat in the city. The staff here is excellent, even when its very busy. The pizza is delicious - the carbonara is my personal favorite.Good selection of beers as well, and one or two rotating tap selections. One pizza feeds roughly two people or one very hungry one. Leftovers are still great the next day.Id pick b side over other pizza joints in the area hands down.

Great wine list and fantastic pizzas.I got to the place just before 6 p.m. on a weekday, and was told that I can be seated when all party arrives. The weather was beautiful outside, so it wasnt a problem. I wished that they had a waiting seat or a place outside. The three of us ordered the Killer Bee, D.F. pizzas, and procuitto and cheese appetizer. The pizzas were fabulous, and we felt fabulous while digging into them.Street parking sucks as you could have guessed. I saw three parked cars getting ticketed while I was waiting for my friends. But the fab pizzas make it all up, I promise. (Not getting tickets. But walking a long way from your safely parked car.)

Great food I recommend the Honey Pizza which was one of the best I ever had the flavors were crazy. Really nice waitstaff who were very welcoming and make you fell like you are a regular even though it was our first time in. Small selection on craft beers and they provided a sample to make sure I liked it. The beer I got went great with my pizza unfortunately I dont remember the name but I do remember it was a Brooklyn IPA beer with the highest amount of Alc. Everything was great and when Im in NYC again Ill definitely be back.

June 28th at 8:30pm. There was a family that came and wanted to be seated. I believe only 1 or 2 of them spoke English well. The female manager refused to seat them. It was a party of 11. There where easily 16 seats available outside and the inside was only about 1/2 full at the most. She first said they were short staffed. So the family comprised and said the were willing to be seated in smaller groups as seats became available & they could manage. The manager refused & made up a story about a group of 20 people that the owner was hosting coming in the next 20min. The family then said okay we will wait if they don’t show up can you call us. 40min past while the family waited outside with grandparents and children as the manager seated people right in front of them. No group for the owner came in. And the manager, knowing the family was waiting outside never came out to address them.Several other customers were disturbed by what they saw and speculated as to the reasons this family was treated so poorly. I asked the manager was there any compromise or at least to speak to the family as the grandparents by this time could no longer stand and were seated on the curb. She again said they were short staffed( for a place that ONLY SERVES PIZZA) and refused to talk to the family to at least tell them there was no chance in hell they were going to let them be seated.I am sure there will be other negative reviews about this situation due to the concern other customers had for this family’s treatment. At 9:45 over an hour later still no owner group of twenty and manager still hiding out inside fake washing glasses behind a bar with only 1 person seated at it.

This is the 2nd time we come, unfortunately to be disappointed. The first time in 2021, and it was a great experience with delicious recipes and an amazing neapolitan style pizza dough. This time the dough was flat, flavorless and diminished a set of still good recipes and ingredients. We were charge to refill sodas which is not something we expected either. Overall a sad experience on this trip where we returned due to our fond memories of the previous visit.

Extremely overpriced for pizza that is average and my carbonara was the top five worst Ive had. The Brussel Sprouts were good but over oiled. The egg on the pizza made it very soggy and the crust/dough was dry and unflavorful. They charge you for refills and wont let you know and since when do they charge for an entire new drink when you change your soda? Way too loud to have a quality conversation. One of the best pizzas in NYC, JUST LOVE THEM! But unfortunately I’m giving them 3 stars because the service is not the best at all. I waited for 20 mins for a table because I really like their pizza and this place is always full. After the 20 mins wait I was still missing one person of our party of 4 and they asked us to wait until she arrives to seat us. I asked the waitress if she could seat us and make and exception because I was pregnant and we were waiting standing at the door for 20 mins already and I was worry to miss the ONLY 2 tables available for 4 before my friend arrived which was already really close to the place.... guess what? She didn’t, and we missed the tables. 5 mins later my friend arrived to the place and the waitress asked us to wait for ANOTHER 20 min for a table. This is me standing at the door all this time with my 8.5 months pregnant belly and she was so cute to ask me to wait another 20 min... we left the place.

I approached the hostess at the western entrance with the bar and communal table and told her that it would be me and another person, for a party of two. She said that I must have all people (all...two) in my party present to be seated.I peek inside at the half empty bar and the communal table that is only being occupied by 2 people and ask if I can at least go inside to sit and wait. I get a nod. Then, as I move to walk inside...the hostess moves into the entrance and blocks it with her body and says You cannot be seated until your party is complete.I was stunned, as we had just spoken about me coming in to the mostly empty restaurant to wait for the other person. Surely, I could at least be offered a seat at the bar? Dont restaurants with bars want to sell drinks to people in this exact scenario? Are you really physically preventing me from entering?Rather than stand around in the street in front of a mostly empty restaurant, I went somewhere else- where I was seated immediately to wait for my dinner date who arrived shortly.Being prevented from entering a restaurant in Hells Kitchen is a first for me. The pizza might be delicious, but I dont particularly care to find out anymore.

Food:We ordered the artichoke appetizer and the Don Ho pizza (tomato, roasted pineapple, prosciutto, burrata, pickled fresno chiles). I think this may be the best pizza Ive ever had. I am of the (unpopular) opinion that pineapple and pizza go well together, but their roasted pineapple served in tiny bite-size pieces is a whole other game. I dare the pineapple-haters to try this pizza and hate it! 10/10 will order again. (We have dined at B Squared several times and have had several other pizzas there. You cant go wrong with any of them, trust me.)Drinks:Great beer selection: not huge, but good quality. We had the Evil Twin 2x ipa and the Other Half American ipa. As a non-ipa junkie, the other half had just the right amount (read: not excessive) of hops for a girl to have on an empty stomach after flying 14 hours from Seoul to JFK and dealing with immigration.Service and other notes:The service was great!! Gossiping with the customer about another person) without even turning his look. Finally getting inside, and the waiter literally barks at us half sentences, barely looking at us, putting 2 water glasses so aggressively on the table that the water actually spilled on the plates(he wasn’t even thinking about wiping it... we obviously had to ask), and there’s no doubt about him wanting to go home already. After we paid and were about to leave we told one of the guys that the service was very bad.
