Visited here twice, back in Jan and then again in Mar. Both times had reservations, first time sat at the bar and the bartender was great, she was friendly and it was fun to watch her work. Second time sat at a table and they had a DJ that started shortly after arriving. And man, was it loud! So loud...hard to have conversation, so next time Id sit outside as it wasnt as loud. If you dont mind not talking...inside is fine. Just no reason to have it be that loud.Anyhoo, first time had the Lobster & Shrimp hash and it was so delicious...if I could lick the plate without getting stared at, I would have. Second time got the Chicken & Pancakes which the pancakes were delicious however the chicken was over fried and a bit crispy. Should have sent it back..but it took a while to get service so didnt want to continue to wait. Didnt give 5 stars due to the chicken not being consistent as my table mate had it the prior visit which came out perfectly cooked.Ill keep on the short list for brunch options, knowing about the DJ on Sunday and sitting outside as well as bar seating vs table due to slow service.
Very small space inside with very few tables. They do have more seating outside, which appears to be heated under an enclosed tent. The staff was attentive. They do have an All Day Menu, & a Pre Fixed Menu for $40. For an appetizer, the Crab Cakes arent bad. For an entree, I enjoyed the Black Sea Bass. I dont usually eat that when I go out. It comes with Farro, Black Garlic, & Zucchini. The Farro was interesting in taste because I never had it before. Their drink specialties are limited. For those who like Moscato, they dont carry it here. The Spicy Magarita is very spicy. I didnt enjoy the taste.
Went there on a Thursday evening for a throwback party 6-10. Great atmosphere, great people, we danced and had so much fun. Great drinks and we had appetizers which were also very good. Want to go back for a jazz night in the future. The fried catfish was amazing and I loved the shrimp guacamole!
This is meant to be constructive and not mean. My friends and I ate here on 9/3. DJ was poppin, but we had to ask for EVERYTHING. Water, utensils, the bill. Service was slow, and they had the nerve to add 20% gratuity for reasons unexplained because there was only 5 of us. We tipped only because times are hard and the server was at least nice. The food was very mediocre, kids sized portions and overpriced. We spent nearly $160 just to be hungry right after. You are better off going to a bodega and getting chop cheese or ihop
I had the best dinner in a long time with my brother Marcus. I really love this restaurant owned and operated by Adrienne. Its the most welcoming LGBTQIA+ friendly safe space in Harlem! She had been around for a long time and survived the pandemic. I love the catfish! Its the best ever! Its a beautiful vibe, music and loving staff. Great job everyone.
I came here to celebrate my father’s birthday, Sunday February the 18th and quickly discovered that the service was terrible. There was no introduction or greeting upon entering the restaurant. I would slightly understand if the venue was really busy and the greeters/waiters were busy with the customers but that wasn’t the case. We’re not expecting a red carpet and trumpets, but a “Hello, Welcome to Brunch Harlem, Do you have reservations” something personable. In order to be serviced I walked over to the bar area and informed the bartender who was having a conversation with another employee that I have a reservation and she got the attention of the owner who was sitting right next to the front door drinking mimosas with her friend to help seat us. Very unprofessional and lackadaisical. Either train your employees or set an example for them.Anyhow, we got seated and had to wait probably about 10 minutes for the waitress to ask us for our order. But being that I purchased a Groupon deal, I wanted to inquire more about the dinner/jazz combination which after asking the waitress didn’t know much about. Moreover, the food was surprisingly good but the fact that the waitress wanted a 20% tip is ridiculous. She was not an attentive, personable and knowledgeable server. I want to entertain M/WBE’s but I have been consistently receiving poor customer service but expected to pay as if I received a fine dining experience. We have to do better people.
The food comes in small portions, DJ was killing it on the music, the service was nice. The atmosphere is very lively but the food is kinda tasteless and bland. They really should learn how to Cook Creole Shrimp and Grits. The Mac & Cheese is not up to our people’s standards. But if you wanna vibe and meet new people while listening to awesome music, then this is your place. The alcohol drinks are popping but Lemonade not so much.
So I made reservations for this spot for me and a friend to go to brunch for 2pm. When we arrived I parked nearby on the street. We walked up and there was no sign that, that was the correct restaurant. I walked in and there was a drag show going on. Had no clue but was looking forward to the entertainment. I walked up and told the lady I was there for a reservation at 2pm. She didnt see my name but accommodated us and gave us seats outside where we asked. Our server was Mossy and she was great. They had a $50 prefixed brunch menu for a half pitcher of a drink and a meal. I got the mimosa and chicken and waffles. The mimosa was tasty. As for the chicken and waffles, the waffles were tasty but the chicken was just ok. It was fried too hard and wish it had more seasoning. My friend enjoyed her shrimp and grits. The bill came to about $65 with tax and they already add a 20% gratuity. All in all it was a good time with the show and the crowd participation.
Amazing!! Its rare you find a spot that does both food and drinks perfectly. On top of that the service was amazing! It was my first time visiting and this is definitely on my list of places I will become a regular at. I had the hangar steak with mussels as an appetizer. For drinks, the penicillin and the walk in the woods. Highly recommend penicillin if youre a fan of Moscow mules. The walk in the woods was the best way to end the night with my creme brulee dessert and the Rosemary comes freshly smoked. Also, got to support local restaurants in Harlem that are taking the food to another level!
Our waiter was in training and he was very attentive and you can tell that he was doing his best and is probably going to be a great waiter but the woman who was training him was not great. I dont know if she was too busy or overwhelmed but the service was lacking
Pricey but worth it. A group of 5 ordered various things from the menu and shared the Apps and tasted each otgers main course. Every one agreed that everything was amazing. I was most amazed on the food being brought out piping hot. I love my food hot so this was a plus! Oh and the drinks.... yeah also a hit!!!
I love this place its a must have whenever I visit NYC. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner at Pride a few years ago and she is phenomenal! The food is always hot and the portions are nice for the price point . The DJ was on fire and played a good variety of music.
Service was great. I ordered a lobster pasta dish, the lobster was a bit mushy and the pasta was a too al dente. The mimosas were great. Even though we came in late in the day up until closing, we were allowed to relax and enjoy our food !
It was ok being that Thursday they were closing their doors. They had limited juices for drinks. The host was doing everything, seating, making drinks, bringing you your change from the bill. When I didnt see him, I thought he was back there cooking too. My shrimp and grits were very loose. Candy didnt enjoy her Pumkin French Toast, Diane enjoyed her grits with a side of catfish bites. Wendys enjoyed her chicken and pancakes. The total of the bill was high to me.
Iight so boom. This is my 3rd time dining at this establishment and my first review. The review will mainly reflect my current experience but let me tell you, I absolutely LOVE B2 Harlem. I dined here back in the day when it was called B Squared and loved the new pumpkin french toast and my date and I loved the cocktails we ordered, I dont remember which but their actual cocktail menu was GLORIOUS and amazing. My family and I dined here for brunch as well, after the rebrand, 3 generations of fam, and everyone loved their meal. The music, the flavors, the ambience was 10/10.This most recent encounter...something was off. Granted, there were 2 large parties (one when we arrived, and another after we were seated) and I believe the restaurant was understaffed. The kitchen is small and theres only one server, one bartender and one manager. After we ordered drinks, it took another 40 minutes to order food. After we ordered our food, it took another 45-50 mins for the food to arrive. But we were a table of two, and there were parties of two who sat after us who ordered, were served their food, ate and paid before we even received our food! Again, I attest this to the large parties they had to tend to and the lack of staff, but sheesh. To be quite honest, my homegirl asked if they could provide us with two tequila shots on the house to compensate for the wait. The server Kennedy would have loved to but his manager said no. Not to sound entitled, but Im all about hospitality and making sure customers are feeling important and considered. Ahh well. For brunch, we did the bottle service of champagne which was very very cute. Between the two of us we ordered the Buffalo shrimp as an appetizer, catfish bites, Mac & cheese and chicken & waffles. The catfish bites were POPPIN! Seasoned beautifully, crispy, juicy and accompanied with a wonderful remolaude sauce. Yum. There were only 4 Buffalo shrimp apart of the appetizer which like...fine, but 6 wouldve been perfect lol. The Mac & cheese was quite good but my homegirls chicken with her waffle was dry. Ive ordered it in the past and it was bombbbbb so I attest it to the lack of staff. All in alll, I recommend it and I will be back. I wont let one iffy day ruin experiences that were nothing less than phenomenal in the past. Enjoy here!
This restaurant is a great place to have brunch with your friends anytime of the day. Walking in the food smelled incredible!! I had the chicken with pancakes, eggs, French fries and my guess had the Salmon with asparagus. Every single thing was delicious and we chooses out door seating which was pretty comfortable. The DJ played all the Jams and the staff was super friendly. The place is very popular and many people dine in and many order online because of that our food came late but it was worth the wait. 🙂🙂
Service was GREAT! Food was mediocre, “Thai chili” Brussel sprouts were just roasted, “glazed” carrots were bland , drinks were pretty and the experience was good overall
Food was soso. Service was good, and the atmosphere was a vibe besides all the flies lol! Presentation was ok too but the food was lacking seasoning smh
Went for brunch, hosts was excellent, drinks the best. Brunch honestly the best Ive had in a while. West coast oysters, belly pork hash, coconut lime pancakes. Deserves more than 5 stars.
I was looking for a black brunch spot with good vibes. They had a live dj and the food was so good. It was just enough turn up for my birthday. The pumpkin French toast with honey wings were amazing and I loved my drink. It was very refreshing and satisfying.
Dined during happy hour, drinks were ok, nothing to rave about. Did have to inform the waiter that every oyster had pieces of shell in them which took away from the enjoyment. Never experienced that before
My daughters took me there yesterday for a Mothers Day brunch. The food was delicious a d the atmosphere very pleasant; however, I ordered a slice of cake to go, and I was beyond shocked at what I saw when I opened the container. See photo below. Not only was it a mess, it didnt even taste good. I hope they were not charged for this. I will go back again, but no desert!😣
Food was very bland, extremely bland. The presentation was cute but the food could be way more seasoned . Service was good and place is cute. But if you want good food don’t come. RespectfullyOysters was mid also
I really enjoyed my experience! From the minute I walked in I was greeted with Love. Malik the bartender was Awesome the Happy Hour Drinks were Fire! Adrienne The Owner was a sweetheart! Her Customer service was right on point. Everything was lovely until I fell and hit the floor! But that’s normal for me! I can’t wait to return.
I been to this restaurant two times, the first time I had Salmon. The food was very bland & had no Real seasoning, & they gave me such a little piece of salmon. I was convinced to go again by a friend who said they had good experiences there. I had the lobster Squid ink pasta. I admit the pasta tasted good, but the lobster tail tasted funny. A few hours after I got sick & was throwing up for the rest of the day. Ruined plans I had that night & had already spent money on. I’ll never go again.
I visited this establishment last evening and I hate to say that I didnt have such a great time. Met up with a good friend and we were seated by the window where it was extremely drafty and cold. No one asked if we were ok and comfortable with the fact that there was no heat. There was a large party seat away from the window and they were next to a space heater. They were accomadated I guess because that was more money being generated by the restaurant. Several times I had to ask the other table’s waiter to get my waiter because we wanted the desert menu, instead the manager came over and seemed like she was annoyed and asked us what we needed. And then finally when we received the bill from the other tables waiter the gratuity was already added to our bill and it was only 2 of us, from my understanding maybe things have changed a bill with of a party of 3 or more the gratuity is automatically added. The food definitely wasnt worth what we paid for the bill. Lord I wish I could get a refund. I will not be going back small portions and taste wasnt worth the price. They need to treat all paying customers equally important. Best thing was the old school R&B being played but Wont return here!!!!!
Delicious brunch, I was able to get catfish bites with grits as a substitute to the shrimp and grits. But my friend complained about the waffle from the chicken and waffles. The chicken was great, but the waffle was dry & tasted store bought.
I Love This Place. I Came Here Because I Was Initially Looking For Pina Coladas & Daiquiris In The Area However This Place Popped Up. I Got To The Location & Was Unfortunately Informed They Didnt Serve Either. However The Guy That Was Hosting My Table Recommended This Lovely Frosè & At First I Was Hesistant However I Am Now Happy I Completely Trusted His Judgement. Service & Drinks/Food Was Better Then Most Places I Recently Visited. highly Recommendable.
Food was okay we had a nice time. Myself and three other girls. Clean but small establishment. Our waitress was polite but since she was drinking she got distracted at times and would forget about our table Unfortunately not a place to mingle with straight men that day mostly ladies and gay men were present. They have a deejay too.
A spot that needs to be on your brunch list! Loved everything: the dum punch, shrimp and grits & the matcha crème brulee!
Food was delicious. The pumpkin French toast was the best I’ve had. The catfish nuggets were crisp and fresh. Music was a vibe.
The food was ok. All the food came timely and fruits were fresh. THE MUSIC WAS AMAZING.Only thing I did have a problem with was only 2 checks per table, non refillable drink and they are $5, and the most annoying 20% automatic gratuities.
Went here on a whim when a place right nearby that features Happy Hour Oysters was out of oysters and we were craving oysters! We went on a Sunday so we didn’t get Happy Hour prices — HOWEVER! Those oysters were HUGE! Plus the chicken and pancakes and the shrimp and grits were awesome. Grits made the REAL way - and this southern gal would know! Love the little nook setting of the patio seating and we had a great server. Service was *slightly* slow but I imagine it’s cause it was so good (making it v busy!) Love that they had a DJ. We also had the Sinners Paradise, which was v yummy but I must admit it almost tasted a bit like Sangria as opposed to what I thought would be like a hibiscus margarita. All in all, we had a great experience and look forward to going back for Happy Hour!
Great food, great music - 1st class! We were sitting outside, but one of the ceiling fans wasnt working, so that was the only thing that could have been better. Also, although its an extremely busy place, the service is great!
This place was ok. I thought the small amount of food we were given was completely overpriced. It probably measured 1 cup of grits with 4 large (not jumbo) shrimp and we also had the catfish nuggets. Definitely not worth it. We were still hungry when we left. Be careful when paying with a credit card because the tip is already included but the device will ask for extra tip and if youre not careful, you might miss the notation that its extra. I definitely wont be back or recommend it to anyone I know.
This spot is a Gem in Harlem. The place has a really nice vibe going on with a live DJ. They also have a really nice outdoor seating area with music as well. The food was delicious! I enjoyed it. The only thing I will say is they need more waiters/ waitresses. But other than that it was a great experience! I will definitely be back!
Great food, but make sure you examine your receipt. Waiter verbally told us the total, without providing a paper receipt, until after we paid. We tipped cash, then realized a 20% gratuity was already included. Inclusion of gratuity should be told to patrons, but I suppose it’s better for them to not mention, so folks can get double tipped. You may be liqueured-up, but pay attention.
Can I get an Amen? 🙌🏿Hallelujah?!!! 🥳The food here is beyond outstanding- on a scale of 1 to 10, it is 100! 🙏🏿 by This is 100% of what I expect in eating food in Harlem, this is 100% and the ultimate example of the legacy of great food Harlem is known for🙌🏿 and I am sure the if Billie Holiday, Sarah Vaughn, Louie Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Cab Calloway, Lena Horn, and all the other jazz great were alive they would frequent this establishment.Too add, the service coupled with the hospitable/courteous staff and ambience really made me feel at home and “at peace.” ♥️😇Glad we made a reservation- this place was packed to the gills!! Whether you are a tourist in search of the “Harlem Experience” or a local living nearby, you should Definitely put B² Harlem on your agenda to visit-
I went for a late brunch. We sat down at about 3 pm. I had the pancakes and catfish entree. The catfish was lightly breaded which I like. The pancake was served at room temperature. Cold. There was a long wait for us to get our food so I didnt think it would be delivered to the table cold. They have a prix fixe menu that comes with an appetizer, entree and dessert. I opted to go a la carte since the pancakes and catfish entree was not on the prix fixe menu. The atmosphere is trendy/hip but the music was loud so it was hard to have a conversation.
An entirely sublime experience! Celebrated a friends birthday over brunch. Everything was on point. Amazing food - I appreciated all the seafood choices. Wonderful, friendly service - they did not disappoint. Delightful ambience. The cocktails were flowing so that I didnt even get a picture. Brunch Harlem is gem with a delicious vibe.
First off the food is PHENOMENAL. Absolutely top tier, everything was very pleasing to that palate and did not miss. I had the pumpkin French toast, shrimp and grits and red sangria. Major kudos to the chef. On the flip side, the service is ridiculously awful. I’m not one of those customers that want a server at my every beck and call, especially on a Sunday but the standard is an expectation. Do things in a timely manner and if it can’t be done, communicate that. I have no problem waiting with updates. We were there for 2.5 hours and 1.5 hours of that time was waiting without any update nor checking in. We had to remind him about our drinks and food and when we did, it immediately came out which means the kitchen/bar had it ready, he just wasn’t being attentive. Then to have the audacity to have automatic 20% gratuity when he was barely deserving of 5%. I can say I observed other servers holding the standard so I think it was this particular server that could use some coaching and improvement. All in all, the food was so amazing I would definitely return and definitely get a different server.
Had a daughter mom date here and the staff was so nice!! We sat outside she loved the feel of the place and how it looked. They do have kid friendly options my daughter is a very pickey eater so this was a plus for me. The catfish was so well done. We will be returning!
Avoid at all cost if you are going for brunch. We waited 2 hours to receive cold food and an additional 30 mins to get the check. It was definitely NOT worth it. The food is small for the price you’re paying.
This was the worst service I’ve ever received in my life. We waited at least an hour and a half for our food to arrive and it came cold. The food was average at best. I don’t understand how this has a review beyond 3 stars. The portion sizes are also really small for average presentation and tasting food. They charged us $16 for a side of 2 fried eggs as well which arrive almost two hours late. This is a waste of time, money and stomach space.
Hidden gem in Harlem. Catfish anything is delicious and the drinks were on point. Will be returning soon
OMG! The food is PHENOMENAL. And the catfish??! Wow! I wasn’t ready for how good the food was especially since there was a mistake with the online reservation service allowing us to reserve a table after closing. The manager, kitchen and FOH staff still welcomed us and there was still a party going on with great music from a live DJ! My partner and I felt at home with great people and great drinks. Great date spot and a place to have some fun on a Sunday!
My son, daughter-in-law and myself reserved a 3pm reservation for 4 on Easter. The trains were a mess, I called to let them know we were running 20 mins late. When we arrived we were greeted by Billie who remembered the call, was very pleasant and we were seated immediately. The decor is awesome as was the service and food. I’ll definitely be returning for all engagements. Shout out to Billie the awesome Hostess.
Beware of this establishment. The waiter/ bartender must have thought I wasnt paying attention and tried to overcharge me significantly. Before I delve into the food critique, let me tell you how I knew he was trying to run game rather than making an honest mistake:When the bill came back, there were two alcoholic beverages listed that i didnt order.I made the bartender/ server aware of this and he gave me a new receipt. (This is where I would have accepted the honest mistake if more didnt happen)When I got the new bill, a 20% gratuity was included in the bill...which is honestly unheard-of.When i mentioned it, the guy said oh i can remove that and the bill was suddenly $16 less. In total, the guy tried to finesse me out of $37, which is not only unprofessional but...well lets just say i didnt have to be as nice about it as i was.The food was okay at best. 6/10The raw oysters were what you would expect and the baked oysters had so much spinach on top that I could barely taste the oysters. Not nearly enough bread crumbs either. I had baked oysters in Chinatown that were 10x better and much cheaper. The salmon, scrambled egg and broccoli main course was dried out overall. Except for the eggs. I have to commend them on the scrambled eggs, I was impressed. The fish was cooked so long that it lost the buttery texture characteristic of salmon. It was adequately seasoned but nothing spectacular. The broccoli was charred and dry. I wouldnt be surprised if it was originally frozen, because thats the impression I got from the taste.Im never coming back because of the insult to my intelligence that was attempted.
My experience here was great . I was somewhat unsure of what I wanted to try but Jayden was such a great waiter . He made recommendations and I ultimately decided on the lobster hash which was amazing. Jayden was patient and friendly during my stay at Brunch Harlem .
Been here twice now and the food has been great both times. I did lobster hash the first time and fried snapper the 2nd time. Delicious!!Music was great, they played some good bops! Service was good each time, they definitely smiled and had warm welcoming energy. My only “con” is the outdoor seating comfortability. My fiancé complained that the bench was too hard and needed a pillow to supplement the bench texture.Other than that, a great place for brunch!
Where do I even start? What a fantastic meal and a wonderful atmosphere. Everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) we ordered was amazing. The squid ink tagliatelle with lobster sauce was among the best pasta meals Ive ever had and dont get me started on the fried catfish and mac and cheese. Hands-down my new favorite NYC restaurant!
Food was great had shrimp and grits, catfish, chicken and mashed potatoes yum the desserts a little small in portions we had to send back the carrot cake the slice was a for a two year old real talk but our server was a gem and came back with a decent size
I had reservations with Resy. However, their system wasnt working. So they didnt have my reservation. They still seated up right away. We sat outside in a cute bamboo screen and neon lighted quote wall patio area. Ambience was warm, cultured, good music etc. Food was a little over priced. I ordered the lobster with eggs, shrimp and potatoes. The lobster was super small. Half of a Lobster tail, if that. However, the eggs were perfect. It was only 1 egg😪. A heap of potatoes filled the plate with a few shrimp. There was a creamy cheesy sauce on the bottom. No sauce for the lobster or shrimp. No lemon. Had a fishy smell. It just wasnt the quality of a $42 meal. Gingerales were watered down. When the food came, the waiter took it to each table to ask if it was theirs, making it cold when it arrived. Its okay for a quick brunch. Not a special occasion. But it does have potential to be great.
Came her to celebrate my daughters birthday and the service was horrible. I do want to say it was a party of 13, which they knew because we made reservations a week prior. They were not ready for us. We ordered drinks that took about 40 minutes to get. Other tables were getting their drinks faster than us. We ordered food that took over an hour to come to our table. Again, other tables received food before us.The food was okay, not the best.I give it 1 star because our waitress tried her best, but was not supported by anyone. There was a host that kept saying she will tell the waitress because it is not her job. When you see your business running slow because you may be short on staff, everyone has to help.I do want to say that I went to the manager to dispute the bill and she did support me. I wish I can say something better, but we all have to learn on our own at some point. I hope this comment can assist the establishment to be better especially when reservations are made.
I dont get to go to Harlem much, since its a long way from East Brooklyn, but this was well worth the trip! The staff was friendly and accommodating, the music was great and the outdoor seating area was WARM! It was just as though you were inside, music was also playing but it was comfortable enough to be able to have a conversation without having to yell. If you prefer to sit indoors, be prepared to have to speak very loudly to one another and/or not be able to hear. This didnt impact my rating because the outside seating made up for it.I really enjoyed my food (salmon, mashed potatoes and brussels sprouts) and the mimosas! Would definitely make a trip back one of the next times I make it uptown! The outdoor seating was perfect for a group!
Went here for a brunch with my girls and LOVED IT. bottomless mimosas, the steak and eggs was amazing and the place is absolutely vibed out!Went here alone for brunch and loved it still.
Good food and service, it was worth the trek from midtown. Excellent cocktails.
Love this place. Black, women & queer owned (we stan!!), this is a great brunch spot. They have indoor and outdoor seating, but the bar inside is pretty small so I dont think they typically seat people there. Sometimes they have a DJ in the summer months who can be heard outside since they have an impressive sound system hooked up to the outdoor covered seating. It can be a bit loud, especially when its packed (I think they like to amp up the family-get-together vibes with music when people are a bit tipsy haha), but its generally a good time. Their cocktails are great and the food they have is also good (I love the catfish, shrimp & grits and lobster hash though I still want to try their flavored pancakes). The only downside is that their indoor space and menu is a bit small.
Few places provide such an atmosphere of welcome-ness. The waitresses were helpful and funny. The food was outstanding rather than outlandish, depending on flavor rather than fanfare. The drinks were fantastic once we got them. If any complaint it is that the bartender is too popular and I waited to long to savor her mixed drink alchemy.
What a gem of a place. True ambiance that tease your senses in every way. The drinks and food was artistry. We had the Pear Pressure drink which were absolutely delightful and full of flavors and aromas. The presentation in serving our drinks superb! We ordered the lobster hash and pumpkin french toast and I have to say oh the taste. Delicious just does not seem to be enough. We sat at the bar so got to talk to the owner a bit and it obvious she has a true passion and joy of food , flavors and how they may work together. A labor of love and it shows. One suggestion, come early for brunch because it gets crazy busy after 1:30ish. I will definitely be back.
An amazing experience filled with bottomless mimosas and savory bites. Must go many times to try everything on their delicious menu.
My client @MsMoeMoney from “Love & Hip-Hop” brought me and a few of our friends to this cute quaint restaurant. The “Bright Idea” cocktail was delightful. I ordered the short ribs for dinner. The mashed potatoes were cold. I double checked with my other colleagues on the temp of my potatoes because I cringe at returning food. But! Prior to returning the food for heating, I tasted my short rib and it was slamming! 😋 However, when the nice waiter brought my food back, it was over heated— as if a torch was used to re heat everything and as a result, the food’s flavor was completely lost. 🥺 I would try them again though. The restaurant was a great vibe too.
Excellent
This was an absolutely wonderful surprise. The decor and ambiance are out of a dream and I felt as if I had stepped onto a film set, perhaps the library of a very refined and well-read English Barrister (Lawyer) who might also have been an author or professor. However, once my friend and I had taken a seat at one of the restaurants French Windows discreetly placed above street level with very deep thickly planted window boxes outside for privacy and elegance, we realized that we were Uptown, but somehow not the Uptown I remembered from over a decade ago. The owners are incredibly friendly and the food is among the best I have had in many, many years and many, many cities. The use of the library scene is not only ingenious, but really works for the purpose of a restaurant. (Was there a showbiz designer involved?) I LOVED IT. Please visit it. I read a review about a girlfriend who went to the bathroom and didnt come out for an hour. Youd have to visit that bathroom to know why she stayed there. I felt the same way. Kudos and Cheers Galore to the geniuses who put this place together.
Ive visited several times for happy hour and for brunch and each time I left full and satisfied. The food is phenomenal , the staff is accommodating , friendly, and knows the menu well. The owner is a sweetheart and always checks in with each table. The catfish sliders are my personal fave . Both the drink & food menu are well thought out and innovative.I love how at the end of the meal the check is delivered in a old bound novel with a calligraphy pen . I live for details like that !Go, you will not be disappointed!
A happy hour worthy to try out (crabcakes, mussels, etc) and pretty good mixed drinks. Staff is pretty friendly too. I was dipping my burger in ketchup, which wasnt a good sign. Other menu options (fish options) seemed great options too. The good vibe at this restaurant and dessert menu to try next time will have us back there!
My first visit was a few weeks ago. Honestly I was super impressed. The oyster sliders were perfect, the duck buns were amazing. And to top it off the gimlet was what kept me thinking of the place. I couldnt wait to go back. Ummmm, was it an off night? No smoking rosemary in the gimlet (theres a grocery store a block away....because thats what makes the drink), oyster sliders tasted as if they had sat around for a while and the buns were a bit cold. I had to send my burger back because the fried egg on top was way over cooked. But when I got it back, it was freaking delicious!! Im writing this review because I think this place has so much potential. The decor is beautiful and its the kind of neighborhood spot that can turn into a favorite. But food consistency is a critical component to that.
I came for Sunday brunch, great dj and great vibes. I always encourage large groups to bring cash, there wasn’t a seamless process to handle our check. However, they were flexible with our large group, the food came out as quick as possible and everyone said their food was good. I just ordered sides due to dietary restrictions but the chicken and waffles was a popular selection at our table and the lobster! I would definitely come back. Masks were requires and outside seating was available.
Food was good but portions were REALLY small. What I really didnt like was that as a dinner date (me and my bf) they decided to just automatically add in a 20% gratitude rate without even letting me know before hand. When I questioned about changing it, they gave me a cold hard I cant do that. Kind of felt like I was done dirty because Im a college student...
If you want the taste of freshness, this is the place to come to for the prefect soulfood.
The atmosphere is a great! The food was amazing especially the catfish, fried to perfection great crunch on the outside and still flavorful and fluffy. However the drinks were although strong not much of a good taste.
Came here on a Sunday after attending a wedding nearby. Ordered the chicken and pancakes. The chicken was fried near perfection but the seasoning was just a tad bit bland for my liking. However, the hot sauce masks it so not a big deal. The pancakes tasted like it was from an Aunt Jemima box but it was made really well. Mimosas were very good.Atmosphere was cool and had a nice Drake playlist going. 1 MAJOR issue that I didn’t appreciate was that a 25% gratuity was automatically added to my bill and it was only two of us. And this was told to us after I paid. The service was mid at best so charging that type of gratuity was not warranted at all. Not sure I would come back because of this.
Great location, friendly staff, prices are very decent, lovely menu options, indoor and outdoor seating, Happy Hour from 4-7pm! Cute and intimate setting, great for dates. Wish they had more beer options, serve was a little slow but otherwise very pleasant experience.
Disappointed. Perhaps I caught them on a bad day. Stopped in for a quick appetizer and glass of wine on a Monday happy hour. Not at all crowded (5 tables) but still managed to have to wait 20+min to order. Food then came out slow and even paying the bill turned into a process. For what it’s worth staff was friendly when they did manage to check on me.
This is definitely a hidden gem!! The food is delicious. The steak and eggs came perfectly cooked every time Ive ordered (The steak is divine!). Quaint and cozy atmosphere. Relaxed yet upscale vibe, its a neighborhood go-to. Food and drinks are always on point.
We were greeted and sat immediately. Unfortunately, we were cramped, and I honestly couldn’t sit relaxed in my seat the entire time I was there. $15 for 7 catfish nuggets (the nugget part wasn’t mentioned in the menu) thankfully the Mac & Cheese was a hefty portion. Both were good. The Rockefeller oysters weren’t too tasty.
Great place for food and amazing cocktails!!!! The owner is personable and the staff was great. The chef kills it…period. Had so much fun here for pride. There was good food, cocktails, music, and people!
This Spot Is A Vibe!!Staff friendly and attentive!Food presentation nice!Food and spirits very tasty! My go to when in Harlem!!!A must visit!!!!!!
If you like small portions of overpriced, bland food, this is your spot! We had the wing appetizer, catfish & pancakes & the shrimp & grits...none of which had ANY seasoning. I literally had to ask for salt & pepper, which still didnt help at all. I wouldnt recommend this spot at all!!!
Loved my outside dining experience at this Black Owned Restaurant! Nice little restaurant with amazing staff and even better food! Make sure you see Zach he’s one of their amazing waiters
The food here is bomb! Its filling, the brunch menus is honestly so filling and they also are able to modify based on your dietary needs. This place also passes the pants button test because their portions make sure youre FULL! If youre okay with the price, this is a lovely spot which played old school R&B and calm throwback jams! I was singing while eating! Must visit!
I really like this place. The food is good and so are the drinks, although the happy hour menu is kinda boring. Unfortunately, if you sit in the bar area be prepared to wait a while for your food. The second time I went here our food took so long we ended up leaving without it. I am going to chalk it up to a them having a bad night and not hold it against them.
Prices have gone up & that’s okay YET the quality of food has diminished. The collards taste like the can, the crab cake balls were dry SMH not ever again. I wanted to continue & patronize these business because it’s black owned & close to my house but no thank you. I willNot be returning. $80 for two ppl to eat nasty food nooooooo way
First time here was this past Sunday for Brunch. The vibe and music is good soNo complaints on that. My friend and I ordered. I just ordered sides while he ordered a meal. He had catfish nuggets which he disliked and they forgot his pumpkin French toast and we actually had to wait an additional 40 mins for that. The server wasn’t attentive nor was I asked if I wanted a refill on my mimosa. Found it pretty strange that the family I was sitting next to was given their cake and candle as they were leaving(again they forgot to even give it to the family) IWouldn’t be back only due toLack of service, and waiting 40Mins for two slides of bread. Tbh it wasn’t even busy inside and legit only 5 tables.
Went with old coworkers and my son. My first time and my experience fantastic. Food was delicious and the drinks were even better
Decent eats but the service was kinda lousy when we went (party of 11).
I went to Billie Black last nite after work 1/8/2016. I had a awesome time I enjoyed the music and the 3 singers, the band really nice music was great. We had Salmon, mash potatoes, garlic string beans,BBQ ribs collard the greens, and Garlic mash potatoes was really good. I enjoyed the whole atmosphere and the staff was very friendly I would definitely go back it was my first time visiting.
Had a wonderful happy hour! The white wine sangria and oysters were incredible! Will definitely go back, even though its a bit of a trek from Brooklyn.
The food is great but I wish the portions were bigger for my greedy butt . Try the Buffalo shrimp the ma and cheese trio and the baked fries. There’s a drink that comes with a blow pop that you should try. Great vibes and great food.
Love this spot. Used to live in the neighborhood, now in Atlanta. Came for a vacation and had to stop by. Very nice ambience and food is amazing. The cat fish was delicious. Wish I had this on my block in the ATL. The owner and service was on point.
Great food. A mix of African and Caribbean style cuisine. I had the Crackfish and was really impressed. Cocktails are also excellent. Must come back when they have live music.
Food is always fantastic and the staff is friendly. I think they could take more patrons during brunch. They are always holding pretty much the entire restaurant for reservations that arent for another 2 hours. Just a little thought for the owner on missed opportunity to turn over more tables during brunch.
So I had a chance to visit this establishment when it was Billy Black when the menu was southern and now was able to circle back now that they are B2 Harlem. So same space just painted and the stage removed and couches added as seating, which gave it more of a smoking lounge or den or high end ladies lounge outside the bathroom feel....... I wasnt mad at that feel. I was slightly nervous when we arrived and were the only ones there on a Thursday evening around 6ish to which my mom continuously pointed out lol (Parents!). But I was determined to see what the revamp was about so mom had to yield plus it was my birthday. So we powered through with a great music playlist of rap, R&B and afrobeats. A decent bartender and decent apps the Mac n Cheese being the right amount of cheesy and charred in cute mini cast iron pans (presentation is everything) and the Brussels sprouts that were also the right amount of charred and garlicky. And I must say that the slightly fishy smell we detected....... nose of a bloodhound I have dude to the garbage room being behind and below our window from where we were seated. Was not evident in our pan fried salmon and black sea bass. Overall the few minutes we had the place to ourselves was heaven and once full the vibe still remained my choice was good and mom had a great time.
I will be back! Food good , drinks good atmosphere great!
I so enjoyed the short ribs. I subbed my potatoes for grits.
Family and friends had a lovely lunch here. Owner came and spoke with us, as did the manager. Our waiter was a little green, but perfectly nice. Food was excellent, as were the decor and atmosphere.
I am not reviewing the food because we left the restaurant before ordering our meal.I live in the neighborhood. I have visited just about every restaurant in a 1 mile radius.Deviating from my regular spots was the choice of my guest, not mine.Sunday was almost brunch in Harlem. However, the lukewarm service made me and my guests rethink our choice in restaurant venue. It was oddly peculiar that our coffee was served in to-go cups. It almost felt like an invitation for us to go. So we did just that. The location has such a great opportunity for locals to love. But, the warmth was not present, nor did the decor make me feel like I was in someone elses home. The space feels aesthetically unfinished. I did appreciate the contemporary gospel soundtrack.
The food, the music, the people and the drinks open the door for you to experience the essence of Harlem and NYC.Im in the picture with B2 Harlems owner Renee Ferguson who is an amazing host. If you want to have an amazing meal and feel like youve just been welcomed in your friends home...visit B2 Harlem.PLEASE dont leave without tasting the fried catfish ❤
Dirty floors and the bathroom had NO Toilet paper. But the two drinks were great. No one in the place and we were told we couldnt have the better table because it was only 2 of us. Wait, we were the ONLY 2 people in the place besides the workers. Hmmmm. Not going back.
The food and service is amazing!
Love the ambiance and the good was delicious! The bartender was friendly with great customer service skills! Definitely going back with my friends!
I ordered the steak and eggs the steak was extremely bland and undercooked. So they sent my steak back and then it was overcooked .. the music is the only positive thing i can mention about this place.
The atmosphere is relaxing, the baked macaroni and cheese is served in a cast iron frying pan and it was absolutely delicious. The foods on the menu where were written in a sophisticated manner not your Red Lobster or Olive Garden, it was an interesting change.
The professionalism was good. The wait time from ordering to getting food was 30mins. The food was good, the drinks (cocktails and mocktails) were good. The wait time was not good.
I was there earlier for brunch with my boyfriend and as we were leaving he forgot his wallet. We realized about an hour later so I called to see if they found it. Thankfully they did but when we got the wallet back $1,600 was missing. Of course no one knew what happened to the money and they wouldn’t even show us the cameras. Anyway be careful with your belongings at this establishment!
Heard of this place and the good food but slow service BUT after a great show at Harlem Stage my sisters and I were hungry snd decided on BBs. A slight hiccup w parking but the host (whose name I wished I knew) was understanding as I was the only one there but enjoying the live band, and assured us a table for 5. We were seated and Dennis, our waiter WAS THE BEST!!!! Our food was delicious and we all RAVED over the catfish strips we shared in an appy. Our black heifer and black iris martins were smooth and PERFECT in taste. We digged in each others plates sampling each others fried chicken, bbq beef ribs, stuffed catfish, mmmm-mmmm mashed potatoes, string beans, mac/cheese and spinach - ALL SEASONED WELL AND YUMMY. We were too stuffed for desserr but was assisted by another woman w drinks and some shrimp. WE ENJOYED OUR EXPERIENCE IMMENSELY but dont take our word for it (wink)
The 1 staff member was rude and non attentive she was a total turn off!! The shrimp and grits was basically soup so 4 pieces of shrimp and 1 frozen pre-made drink was 60 dollars Im done u try to support black owned spots and all u get is attitude and overpriced food!!!
Really great brunch and awesome drinksFriendly staffThe only “complain” is that they charged $4 per person to cut the birthday cakeOverall, great experience and will go back to try other dishes and drinks
I love this small quant restaurant. The food is delicious, with a variety of favorite and traditional Soul-food, such as: fried whiting, catfish, chicken, salmon cakes, and grits. However a word of advise, make sure you call 4 hours in advance for a reservation because they are always packed.
Cute European style bistro in the cut. Loved the drinks. They have a stellar mixologist. The seafood pasta was underwhelming. The seafood was overcooked. Will go again to try the brunch.
Friendly staff, when u walk in Bar right..It remains me of upscale restaurant.
Customer service was horrible. One waitress for 30 people. The food was bland I had chicken and waffles. The owner is rude as hell. The drinks are watered down. I will not be returning.
Went as a part of my birthday celebration. The food was delish. The service was fantastic. I will more than likely revisit 😉
Exceptional customer service and delicious food, Dj was Excellent for the Vibes!
The food was okay, but the service was terrible. Our waiter was on the phone for most of our meal and was not attentive.
The staffing team was amazing , Joe Morris was absolutely fantastic. This is the place to go with your family ,friends and by yourself.
Food was pretty good. Kind of slow service. Not really down for the affectations, but a very creative menu, courteous wait staff, and an eminently professional mitre d.
I’m not a pancake person ‘usually’ but one bite of my hubs and I was finna ask him where were his🤪 the crab cakes: satisfying. Truffle fries? Yummy them drinks though…ahmazing
Purchased a drink on their pride event their chip reader wasnt working so I had to cashapp the owners personal cashapp, very unorganized establishment”
Dinner is very overpriced due to the small portions. Seafood was great and entrees were beautifully decorated, but it wasn’t worth the money imp
The food was DELICIOUS and the drinks too... I had a Mocktail that was beautiful done to accommodate my non-alcoholic self.
Quiet seafood restaurant, poorly stocked bar. It was uncomfortably chilly when we dined there. Good for conversation with subdued background music. Check menu, nothing especially enticing.
One of my favorite brunch spots in the city. I ALWAYS get the chicken and pancakes.
The food is really good, I love the chefs style which is really refined and the service is just perfect. I would recommend you try the food there, not takeout cause it is part of the experience.
The food was great... service is a little slow. Great music....
Very off putting space. Charge ridiculous amounts for drinks that could be finished in one sip. Not to mention, their chip readers weren’t working so I had to directly cash app the owner?
Great atmosphere. The owner is very hands on and accommodating. Very welcoming. Good vibes and good music
Zachary and Christiane were absolutely wonderful. We stumbled upon this place on a Saturday night after visiting a couple exhibits. Zach and Christiane stopped at nothing to ensure we were full, comfortable and satisfied. The food was warm, fresh and flavorful. I cannot wait to come back. Visit B2 at your earliest convenience. Your belly, your taste buds and your spirit will thank you!
Worst place Ive even been, Im a chef at a high-end restaurant and and I sat there for 3 hourse and never got my entree and all they did was take it off the bill. Horrible service…. Would not recommend
Try the lamb chops! The margaritas were on point! And the dj was rocking!!!
Yummy truffles fries and spicy margarita!
My friend & I visited this place for brunch on 5/21 and I will not be returning. I waited more than an hour to get my food and when it arrived it was disappointing. The rice was soggy and flavorless. The fish, although fried well was also lacking seasoning. My friend had to send her catfish bites back because they were cold. My crabcakes were lukewarm at best. If youre only coming for drinks and music, cool, but brunch is not brunchn here!!Staff were plesant but lack quality control.
We made a reservation, planned our evening around a meal. Then we showed up and they didn’t have space for us and had to cancel after waiting for 10 min
The food was great, the ambiance warm and cozy, the owner was present and gracious - all the things needed for a wonderful dining experience. Like to clone one for LA!
Long wait times.. waiting 2 hours for food that’s still not here. How a party of six get their food at all different times. Ruined my pride experience. Also my tea cup had lip stick print on it when it was delivered to my table.Nice staff but I won’t be back.
Come for the atmosphere but not the food. I went there for Fathers Day and I was so disappointed with the food. Would come again if they update the menu
The restaurant is small but the staff is nice and attentive. We did feel cramped, our food was accidentally given to another table. An honest mistake but we noticed the server doing this on several occasions with other guest. The drinks did not appeal me, tasted low quality. Now what attracted me to this restaurant was the menu. I assumed there was an elevated culinary experience I would embark on. I ordered shrimp and grits. The grits were grainy, shrimp overcooked and had a fishiness taste to them. The food quality does NOT reflect or justify the cost. We ordered 1 alcoholic drink, tea, and two entrees that totaled $109. We ended up having to get food elsewhere because we felt unsatisfied and were still hungry. I loved the DJ and the R&B selection, I would love to come back if these changes are made.
Very cute and cozy place. The food was delicious and the staff was super friendly. Def recommend for brunch or a date night.
Had a great time here. Very good seafood...octopus app, salmon entree, creme brulee dessert. Tasteful, comfortable atmosphere. Nice service.
Service was terrible Mac & Cheese was horribly bad taste like cream of mushroom was is in it I had catfish sweet potato and Mac they had the nerve to give me two slices of a sweet potato not even a whole sweet only one piece of fish not even a cup of Mac smh not to mention we had reservations and the whole party didnt even sit together and they were already rushing someone to leave before they ate we should have left right before we even ordered its a bust 40 th bday dinner just ruin not to mention they didnt give her a happy birthday cake and we brung a cake and the said it was a 20 dollar cutting fee with all the gratuity
Absolutely loved it! Food, music, atmosphereWill go again.
Servers gave me the incorrect prices on the food which was unbelievably expensive, when I brought it to my servers attention he didnt respond. I think the service overall could be better. Food wasnt bad but they do give very small portions for their high prices.
Honestly this food gave me food poisoning. I wouldnt recommend at all !!!!!
Place is well heated and the service is great. Best mimosa I ever had makes you feel fancy! Trust me check this place out!
Owners are so so rude and pocket all the tips that are meant to go to the service employees. i wouldn’t bring my business back here
The food was good. The pumpkin french toast was out of this world!!! The wings were extra crispy and delicious. Also, the eggs were delicious, they were basic scrambled and fried eggs but they were so good and fresh. Overall, I felt like the appetizers were better than the entrees.Drinks were delicious, I think they were expensive for the size, but still worth it. We did end up buying 4/5 drinks each. The service was great. We went for brunch and they had a live DJ, so the place was loud but the music was a vibe. The DJ played new and older music, so it was a great blend.I would definitely recommend this place and go back.
Massiel was amazing !! Food was great good vibes and music would definitely come out again
Visited Brunch Harlem while from New Orleans what a great time it was Staff was awesome Malik was very nice and the food was great will recommend !!!
Great service and tasty food. Fun.
This place is a real nice experience the service was excellent the staff was friendly even the other patrons was fun the music was nice the food was excellent we even met the owner. Myself my daughter and my granddaughter went and we danced and had a great time I absolutely am going back and would recommend you go there if your not from New York this is one of the place to visit or you would be missing out. Just so you know I never write reviews but I had to for this one....bon a petite
I’d leave zero, if I could. Slow service and unreasonable owner.
Cool interior, nice bar space, and a fun cocktail menu served up with hipster flair, but whether artistic choice or mixing error, the cocktails werent nearly cold enough.
A Black owned business that goes out of its way to cater to Black patrons. Absolutely love it. Highlights are the staff, the drinks, and the music!
Massiel was a great server. Service was great, food was good. Nice atmosphere
Food and atmosphere is top-tier! This is coming from someone from the south!
My new favorite spot in an already hopping culinary neighborhood of South Harlem. The cocktail list is laid out well (like a periodic table) the highlight of which is pictured below. The mixing of the drink involves lots of pouring and fire and it arrives to the table with a smoldering cinnamon stick tied to the glass which gives each sip a spicy earthiness. The food was spot on. I had the Squash Blossoms and a Pork Chop that was to die for. They are known for their seafood which I will try next time. Definitely make a reservation though. Its small and always full. Great decor.
Over priced & Treats their workers Terribly.
Due to a very unprofessional response and treatment to a worker from a general manager.
Very nice place...but pricey....especially the drinks. For 2 people having drinks, appetizers, entrees and dessert...dont even attempt it unless you have $300 to spend.
Food was literally nasty I do not recommend!!!
I had an amazing experience at Brunch Harlem. The service is great and the food is delicious. I’m looking forward to coming back!
My friends and I got food and drinks. Honestly the drinks was not a good idea,They said it wasn’t very good. The food was ok.The attendance was great, and such a good atmosphere.
The atmosphere was lovely and the food was delicious well prepared and presented definitely will go back there
Its a nice place. Good vibes. The chicken is very good.
Oh Lord. This place was amazing 👏 i have no words! Speechless. You have to experience for yourself. Girl...please
Amazing cocktails and incredible food. Staff was super friendly and helpful! Loveeeee it here!
Amazing food ,presentation awesome ang great service very nice, I really enjoyed myself
If you are not a local, don’t go there for any reason. They don’t even care about you. We ordered the food and we had to wait for one our and a half, totally unacceptable. They ignored us and they were serving the food to anyone but us. Plus, it’s overpriced.
The fish&grits were hot and delicious also the drinks @ the bar were good and strong 💪
I felt that this place was pretty decent but I felt that the food and drinks were way to pricey. I went here with my boyfriend and we ordered 3 drinks each which was really watered down , so at the 3rd drink we added on a shot . We ordered food and ate, the food was ok and then when we got the bill it was $219.49. They added in a 20% gratuity which was $33.60 and taxes came up to $17.89 and and regular total was $168.00. I could of when to City island and had a full course seafood dinner or even paid a bill or 2, Im not cheap but this was certainly not worth paying over $200
Very good food fresh the staff was super friendly and accommodating and the atmosphere is amazing a must try if your in harlem
Awesome food the shrimp couscous was spetacular and believe me it come from a chef, and the sea bass was perfectly cook. Totally recomend this place
The food was wonderful, especially the catfish. Listened to Spinkick play. Fantastic! It was a wonderful night.
We came for the Dinner and a Show deal. It was a lovely Thursday night out. Drinks on the Speakeasy were good and the artist performing was excellent.
Service was very welcoming and pleasant. The food was delicious and on point.
Pork chop was prepared to perfection. A little crispy on the outside yet moist. Mascarpone dessert with a glass of Vertliner...
The food was really really good. I enjoyed everything I ordered. I got the octopus as an appetizer (smaller portion than I thought). I got the catfish & pancakes as my main (really delicious 10/10). I didn’t enjoy my drink bc of the salt rim and I felt like some of the salt got into the drink. But overall, great experience. Service could have been a lil better but ambiance and music were great!!
I love brunch at Billies Black. Its refreshing to find some good flavorful soul food that reminds me of being back home in NOLA.
The bartender Malik is the best! You will not be disappointedThe food and service is highly remarkable!
Its one of my favorite spots as a local in Harlem!! Great atmosphere!!
Great food. Try the brussel sprouts, Malbec wine, pork chops, salmon etc. Great music, and atmosphere!
Place is nice food was great but waiters had a attitude not kool lost 2 stars because of the staff.
My mothers repass celebration was there. We loved it!
Went for a munch and drinks, and discovered their awesome fried catfish. Nice atmosphere.
Does not pay staff adequately
Lovely place in Harlem. Had my last minute HAPPY HOUR BIRTHDAY party there it was WONDERFUL. THANKS BILLIE BLACK. Come one come all to BRUNCH HARLEM 😋 🤗 ☺️
One of my friends had a birthday there lesson today for a party of 20 the food was nasty. They took a long time bringing it out and the service was horrible. Never again it was so bad that I ended up going to boulevard restaurant to go have something to eat.
We went for brunch and loved it. The vibe is great! Good music. The food was amazing. Definitely try the chicken and waffles. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. The food came out at a good pace and the espresso martini was delicious. Great brunch spot.
My daughter took me here for Mothers Day. I had crab and lobster ravioli, and it was phenomenal. The salad tasted great. The Mac and cheese was on point, and crab cakes were lit. The staff was fantastic. I wish I had gotten names to personally shout them out. The atmosphere and music had me moving. It was a whole vibe!!! I highly recommend this restaurant!!!!
Amazing atmosphere. Awesome drinks. If you drop in I suggest the Rock In Rye.
Have been to this location when it was a different restaurant. Actually sat in the same spot as last time. Had the shrimp and grits. My friend had the fried chicken and pancakes, a different twist on the original chicken and waffles. Food was good and filling. We also had mimosas in a carfe, which was also good. I only have two complaints. My dish was served in a bowl with a chip in it. I was always told that plates or bowls with chips should be discarded. There was also a DJ who came later while we were dining. He was okay, but the music was too loud for such a small location. I could hardly hear what my friend was saying. I would pay another visit to this restaurant.
Horrible seduce
The shrimp and grits were good. The carrot cake was a very tiny slice. It was good but tooo tiny.
I like this space. Its very modern and love the vibe. We were the earliest reservation starting at 11am. And the staff left us unattended for over 30 minutes after we sat down. Merely coming back to ask if everything is OK? Well no I want some water or atleast ask if Id like to order anything. Eventually when things starting picking up more waiters came to ask if we needed anything. Food was just alright, they need more menu options for a brunch style setting. AND a bottomless mimosas.
I went for brunch; the food was average and the service was extremely slow even though the restaurant wasnt busy at the time.
The food was delicious, I couldnt eat it all the Waitres Ms. Massy was very friendly and attentive. I will definitely return
Great shape great place to shop has different stores in it I took my dog to Pet Smart there
Great atmosphere great food n drinks affordable owner is very welcoming .
Good customer service, the ambience, and vibe was great. The drinks and the food was very good.
