Petite, cute, cozy and mostly delicious. The service is very friendly, the food doesn’t take long to get to your table and it’s very tasty. Highly recommended: Enchiladas Verdes, they are the best.

Solid tacos and drinks at a good value. We got the suadero tacos and carnita tacos, and both were delicious with the avocado salsa and habanero salsa. The Micheladas are only $8-$9! Has plenty of outdoor seating in Worldwide Plaza to enjoy a nice weather evening.If youre looking for a casual Mexican sitdown spot, Dear Rufino will do the trick.

Authentic and delicious Mexican, fast and friendly service, unbeatable location with a relaxed atmosphere in the plaza. Very happy they moved into the neighborhood - I’m already a repeat customer even though HK is brimming with great options.

The food was great. I had the shrimp cocktail. Wish it had more shrimp but still delicious, just like they do it in Baja California. My friend had the shrimp al chipotle, very delicious. For dessert the churros were great and the cajeta was the bomb made from goats milk. And that’s how you know they are the real deal. One suggestion more appetizer options.

Went here for brunch before an afternoon show at a nearby theater and was so happy with the experience! Delicious food at a reasonable price and bottomless mimosas. Great service too, our server Alejandro was very attentive and so friendly. Definitely recommend!

My little group happened upon this restaurant before seeing a show. The food was delicious. I got the huevos pablano. The mole was wonderful, especially paired with their homemade hot sauces. Alejandro our waiting was super friendly and made sure to check in frequently. I would definitely recommend making the stop of you are in the area!

Wonderful staff, terrific food, and the music...! Also very much appreciated the veggie options! The margarita was great, the green salsa to die for, the prices totally appropriate, and the atmosphere was very friendly and relaxed. All around 5 stars!

I just visited and was blown away by the flavors. Every dish I tried was delicious, but I have to highlight two that really stood out. The mole was exceptional; it had a depth of flavor that felt rich, earthy, and perfectly balanced between sweet and spicy. It’s hard to get mole just right, but they nailed it. The carne asada tacos were another standout, featuring a crispy cheese crust that added an incredible texture and unique flavor, taking the tacos to another level.

I been to Mexico a couple of times and I never enjoyed the food like I did here!! The taste of the food it’s top, the soup the tacos al pastor, the shrimp ceviche, churros and please ask for the tamarindo margaritas the best of the best, and the service it’s amazing you feel at home, Andres is amazing !!!

I‘m so happy to have a great authentic taqueria near by my office, I’ve ordered lunch to go a few times, it’s always been delicious, quick and convenient. I love the carnitas burrito and the birria bowl, and the horchata is fantastic too.

Tacos al pastor and hibiscus margarita were delicious. Great outdoor patio and delicious food. What more can you ask for?

The Chilaquiles were really good but be careful if you can’t handle spicy. I like my michelada and I didn’t stay long just because it was so hot outside. I’ll come try the tacos next time when I don’t have my dog and can sit in the AC

Theyre new and may already be one the best authentic Mexican in Hells Kitchen. The menu is small which means theres not a lot of room for bad dishes and so far, everything has been great!My favorites were the Tacos de Bistec con Costra de Queso (skirt steak tacos) and Camarones al Chipotle (big shrimp with a nice chipotle spice). Also pretty good were the churros and the chips and guac (both seemed freshly made!)Everything seemed to be made with fresh ingredients and the chef claimed to use a bunch of family recipes which seems believable.Great news addition and worth visiting!

This restaurant is a must when in New York! A hidden gem. Forgot to take pics of food but everything we ordered was so delicious, their deserts are also delicious. We will definitely come eat here again. You can’t go wrong with any of their dishes. Met the chef, super nice and very welcoming, the waitress was super sweet and so helpful. I hope you stop here when in the mood for Mexican deliciousness 🥰

What a wonderful place! Real authentic Mexican food, great service and such a relaxed atmosphere. The best tuna tostada I had in New York, the Aguachile and Pastor Tacos were incredible too, accompanied by a refreshing michelada. Outstanding quality of the fish, will be back for sure

As others have said, shockingly good Mexican food with a fun large courtyard. Hard to get better Mexican food in Manhattan.

This is authentic Mexico City’s tacos. The guacamole is on top, for the tacos the tortillas are handmade, the quality of the meat is great. The tuna tostada is flavorful, velvety and crisp. Also the Tres Leches Cake is one the best I tried with a balance in the sweetness but robust in the taste.Definitely a needed place like this in midtown.

Food and service are amazing! Authentic Mexican food. We tried the tacos al pastor, birria and steak tacos with costra the queso and they were so good! The tamarind and jamaica margaritas are a must. Save room for the churros and flan! We’ll be back soon and highly recommend it.

Stopped by Dear Rufinos before heading into work. Great place for a quick bite, amazing flavors. I had the shrimp quesadillas and tamarindo agua fresca. All fresh ingredients and food were ready very quickly. Amazingly friendly staff

Dear Rufino had great food that took me back to Mexico City. Everything tasted fresh, the service was good, and the outdoor seating area near a fountain was very relaxing.

We tried the tacos with costra and they were absolutely delicious, as well as the tacos al pastor. The shrimp cocktail reminded me of Mexico, and the micheladas were superb. Highly recommended! And the park is so nice

We went here as it was just outside the theater. We were quite hungry, and I generally Ike Mexican food. I ordered the guacamole, before looking any further what they offered. What a disappointment this place was! I couldnt find anything I was willing to eat. would have prefeared to leave after the guacamole. Everything seems to be served on corn tortillas. None of the food resemble posts I later saw in Instagram. It was ok, but didnt have enough chips. I had no time to let my companions know there was nothing on the menu I would eat. I just sat there, with nothing but a glass of water, while everyone else ate. I had thought of ordering a drink, but was already so disheartened, I wasnt going to spend a dime more than I had to! When the check came, the first thing I noticed was suggested tips were at 25%, 22% then 20% respectively. The waiter stood at the table with a POS system to run my card. Instead of engaging with the guests that , he hovered over me as I was adding the tip. That was the last straw. Luckily, there is a custom tip option, I left him 15%.This experience completely soured what should have been a most lovely day!q

Stumbled upon this wee gem 2 nights ago and had a lovely meal al fresco.Service and food outstanding.It was so good we returned tonight and once again was extremely impressed.I asked the staff if they knew anywhere I could get a gelato on the way back to our hotel.Next thing a large plate of ice cream was placed in front of me.Apparently they went to a neighboring restaurant to get it and I was not charged for it.Was so impressed.We hope many people get to enjoy the wonderful food and service that we did.Best service in our past 4 weeks in USA.

Authentic & delicious Mexican cuisine in the heart of the Theater District.I ordered the Enmoladas Poblanas, which were chicken enchiladas swimming in the most delicious Mole Sauce. My husband had the Enchiladas Verde, and that was in a yummy whie sauce.We washed our meal down with a Monopolio IPA that was on tap.The service was excellent. Our server, Mega, made sure that everything was perfect.Theres plenty of outdoor seating under a canopy of trees.My one complaint is that the restroom needs to be cleaned more frequently. There was a very strong urine odor. The bathroom looked clean, but it certainly didn’t smell clean.

There are rats roaming around. You have no idea what the price is, because in addition to the tax and the suggested tip, the bill says large party fee 20% - because as the waiter says, thats how the bill system is for a group of six - and we were three adults and three children. The waiter says that he is not to blame and that he explains to tourists day after day that this is a house policy that he is uncomfortable with. Total disappointment - never again - only kudos to the waiter
