What an Omakase Experience! We had an absolutely unforgettable time at this restaurant. Every dish felt like a work of art. The sake pairing and wine selection was spot-on. The ambiance was very inviting. A heartfelt thanks to the Chef and his Sous Chef for their incredible skill and dedication. Their passion for their craft truly shines through in every bite. I deeply appreciated how the Chef respected my dietary restriction of no meat. He thoughtfully crafted an exquisite alternative dish for me that was so flavorful and beautifully presented as the rest of the menu. This level of care and attention to detail truly elevated the dining experience and made it feel personal and unforgettable. If you’re looking for an elevated dining experience with incredible food, great vibes, and excellent drink pairings, this is the place to be. Bravo!

Icca knocked it out of the park! We were running late, but the staff couldn’t have been cooler. Super understanding and welcoming. The service? Absolute perfection. Chef Kazushige Suzuki and his fellow chef are on another level. Every bite was a flavor explosion! Fresh, delicious, and straight up unforgettable. The vibe is super chill and relaxed, making it the perfect spot to kick back and enjoy some incredible omakase.

We enjoyed the food, but surprisingly found that the Executive chef failed to introduce us or one of us to a number of dishes. Rare eye contact let alone words through the dinner. All we can feel is a 9-5 attitude. Overall, the lack of interaction with the executive chef was not like another omakase experience we had before. I appreciate the fact that Sous chef was interactive, humble, and respectful, otherwise I would rather order it as take out.

My friend an I went for the Italian Kappo. The staff was awesome. We chose to do the sale pairing and they introduced each and every one. (I’m not a huge fan of dry sake, I like more on the sweeter side. Hence they asked the chef for a replacement for one of the sakes. Very considerate). We had a very nice conversation with the staff and the food was amazing. None of the dishes were a disappointment. We are looking to come back to try their omakase.

Iccas Italian Japanese tasting course is not very Italian, but delicious nonetheless. The restaurant itself is quiet and unassuming, but operates very smoothly. Unlike other tasting course menus, you will definitely leave full (and they will even ask you if you want a larger portion size towards the end), so come hungry! The dishes are generally fun, and the ingredients are definitely high quality.Id say the best courses were the cold pasta with tuna tartare and caviar (could eat a whole bowl of this!), apple compote and caramel mousse dessert, and the mackerel with truffle, while the tokachi herb beef fell short (a little bit too sweet and uncomfortably rich), as well as the red snapper fritto (the brussel sprout and sauce was great, but the fritto was just so average - could easily have been any fish). The fish-y pasta at the end was a lovely way to close off, and in particular, I really loved their use of vegetables throughout the courses. Also, the plum juice is absolutely divine.Im not sure if this would be a regular spot for me, but Id say its worth a visit, and its lovely, peaceful, and quiet for a unassuming date night. Would recommend!

I had a wonderful omakase experience at Icca. Great seasonal selections and preparations were done by Chef Kazu and the sous-chef. All staff members are friendly and approachable as well. Decent, but a bit overpriced. We tried their 13-course omakase at their bar. They had some interesting courses like the abalone liver risotto. I didnt love some courses like their huge maki. The service was good and I did like the ambiance. But was it worth the $210pp price tag? No.

If you are not familiar with the area, you may miss the small entrance and don’t find a door, like me. You know Japanese things (people, food, road, etc.) are always small. However, the food is amazing. It’s a combination of Italian and Japanese but also an art. I had three green source, and all of them are different.

From the moment we stepped in, the ambiance of the restaurant set the tone for a special evening. Seated in front of Chef Kazushige Suzuki, we were treated to an intimate culinary show, witnessing the artistry and precision that goes into every dish. The highlight of our meal was the omakase menu, a masterful display of traditional and unique flavors that left us in awe. Each dish, especially the sea urchin, was a revelation, showcasing the chefs skill in elevating simple ingredients to culinary heights. The sake pairing was a journey in itself. The house-made sake complemented each course beautifully, enhancing the flavors and adding an extra layer of enjoyment to our meal. The staffs knowledge and passion for sake were evident as they introduced each pairing, making the experience both educational and delightful. As we celebrated this special occasion, the attentive and considerate service made the evening even more memorable. The staffs dedication to ensuring every aspect of our meal was perfect contributed significantly to the joyous atmosphere of the night. In conclusion, our experience at Icca was nothing short of amazing. Reviewing restaurants at this price point is highly subjective, but there’s objective truth in Chef Kazu’s ingenuity in seasoning. Icca is a must try for its crème de la crème appetizers and its fragrant authentic edomae sushi. Ingredient selection is luxurious but subtle, often boasting premium abalone, crab and sea urchin. Staffs are always attentive to needs and the dining environment is laidback.

We came here for the omakase at the sushi counter. It was about 400/person prepaid in advanced. It seats about 8 people around the counter giving a private experience. Expect about 20 + dishes and spending 3 hours there. The staff was attentive and ready to help. The chef was friendly and would occasionally engage in small talk.I was initially worried about how much Italian influence there would be but it was unfounded. The hairy crab pasta was amazing!Overall, the food was amazing. The fish was fresh. The abalone liver was bomb. The uni was very creamy. I really enjoyed my time there and would go back again next time Im here.

I dined here with friends and left totally disappointed. If you know the real deal and have dined at Yoshino, Noz, Noda, etc. you will be disappointed with the experience and the quality of the sushi.Overpriced Omakase, Overpriced Beverage, super slow service...Nothing good about the experience I had. Also, a friend of mine had a medical emergency and tried to cancel his reservation for Omakase but the restaurant denied and proceeded to charge his card. He was not even offered the option to reschedule. This business does not value the customer, only care about the profit. So beware of it.

I went here for a birthday dinner. My partner and I did the new 13 course bar tasting menu with a sake pairing. Each course was masterfully presented by chef Noboru Komiyama, and carefully explained by the lovely and engaging translator. Our favorites were the nigiri sushi, the abalone liver sauce sharisotto, the eel, and of course, the tokachi herb beef! At the end of the meal, I received a sweet potato creme brulee that made me seriously consider what I had dared call dessert in my lifetime. It was impossibly light, with a very delicate sweetness that paired perfectly with the burnt, crystallized sugar on top. My partner received a strawberry rhubarb sorbet with a citrus gel, because she cant have dairy. Even though she doesnt typically like sorbet, I loved seeing her face light up after her first bite. They even brought us an extra brownie with a candle in it just so she could make a birthday wish! From the atmosphere, to the food, to the generous pours, I cant recommend this intimate experience enough! Well definitely be coming back for the omakase experience with chef Kazushige Suzuki at some point.Seriously, people, go here. Make it a special occasion!

Unlike other omakase, I liked the structured structure of the omakase, which was clearly divided into appetizers, main courses, and desserts, and the quality of the sushi ingredients. I think I sampled a full course meal that was as good as I expected. Very satisfied. Meanwhile, on this day, I was able to enjoy nigiri from Suzuki, the representative chef here. The sushi size is a bit small. The toppings are mainly reduced and the netas original taste is faithful to the original taste, with a prominent chewy taste. This is especially true of Akami and Toro sushi. The meal started with a non-alcoholic welcome drink (with plum and shiso flavor). The novel sushi was abalone intestine sushi. Its not the first time Ive encountered this, but its not the familiar way of mixing sushi with abalone intestines. Even the unsavory squid feels like a refreshing snack. Meanwhile, sake pairing is of course also possible here. When I visited, all ingredients were imported directly from Japan. The appearance of uni, geumtae, Japanese seaweed, and otoro is basic and provides satisfaction that meets expectations. Putting uni on top of Shari mixed with ink cream sauce provides a fun new experience. The signature spaghetti of this place, made with crab meat, satisfies my curiosity even before my visit. In part, you get the feel of Italian cuisine. Meanwhile, the pieces of steak made from beef raised (and fed with herbs) here in the middle also relieve the disappointment about the Japanese-style Wagyu that can sometimes be found in sushi restaurants. Although it is not very greasy, it tastes similar to a very tender Wagyu sirloin steak. At the end of the meal, I received a small amount of Japanese salt as a gift, and I remember the taste being very clean when I ate it with meat at home. The location of this place is very close to One World Trade Center in Manhattan. Therefore, it can be said that it is very close to the Brooklyn bridge. Parking was possible in a nearby paid public parking lot. The price is over $400 per meal. It is estimated that the sushi price alone ranks among the top five in Manhattan.

We went to try the Italian Kappo experience at the counter. The atmosphere was a bit cold and sad, probably due to the fact that there were very few people. Courteous and kind staff. The tasting menu starts very well, unfortunately it does not live up to expectations until the end. The Japanese-influenced dishes are very good, the arrival of the Italian influence (Im Italian) is not up to par at all.
