A lovely little Irish pub in the financial district, and not your typical Irish pub at that! Run by authentic and wonderfully friend Irish expats, who are more than happy to welcome you into their cosy establishment and ply you with nice drink and some really good food!Despite visiting on a weekend (during which they close earlier in the evenings I think) I can see this location being very popular with the local Wall Street crowds, and with the quality of what’s served, you’ll understand why!Plenty of drink and food options to satisfy any palette or appetite, and it’s not the average pub food one might expect. If you’re in the area, I’d recommend wholeheartedly.
The signs outside welcome you in for a drink, but just dont ask the bartender what beers they have or the price. She doesnt know/care and will look at you like youre from mars. Friday 7/12 around noon.
Great food and a warm atmosphere, service was fast and accurate. Delicious fish & chips and good Ales. If ever back in NY, will surely visit again!
Should be a 4.5. I had fish and chips. OMG it was good. Light fish in a light crispy batter - no lingering heavy feeling with this meal.Service is friendly and on par with what you would expect of a classic, low-key pub. It was quiet on the night I visited, but that suited my mood. Loved the 80s mix and Billy Idol was perfect.Guinness on tap - classic pairing for fish and chips. Lots of good spirits at the bar - indulge!
Cozy place, good service, amazing avocado salad with Cajun chicken & shrimp, excellent burger with the best French fries. Place was clean, well maintained and right around the corner from the stock exchange.
Food is terrible and way overpriced. Fish and chips consists of square fish sandwich patties like you’d get at Wendy’s but cost $22. Very disappointing place for dinner. My kids didn’t like the chicken fingers. Veggie burger was dry and plain.
I had a very unpleasant experience there today! I’m a tourist visiting the US and I ordered a drink there. One of the bartenders was continually harassing me in an aggressive tone trying to get me to leave. I couldn’t enjoy myself and I felt really uncomfortable the whole time. She was repeatedly staring at me from a distance and often kept coming back to me, pressuring me to order another drink as soon as she sees my glass empty. The two customers sitting right next to me to my right noticed and also wondered why she thought it was necessary to act that way towards me as a paying customer. The owner of this establishment should be made aware of how their employees are treating customers. I just did not like the way she spoke to me. Overall, it is an unwelcoming environment to be in. I had to leave! Not coming back there again.
Nice little bar off Wall Street with a funky music selection—-the Friday night I visited, they were playing disco music. Not as busy as some of the bars a bit further East and the bartender was nice—-not super friendly at first but she warmed up. A good place to stop by for a beer or a shot if you don’t want to go to a crowded bar.
Suuuuper good! The pastrami sandwich! The fries and onion rings… super flavored and crispy! Enough portions to share
Guns and Roses blasting on the speakers is what made us go in. The playlist was awesome and the pastrami sandwich we grabbed was really good. It was exactly what we needed with the snow and sleet outside. Whiskey, good music, good food. All checked. The place is pretty big too which was a nice surprise.
I have been to this establishment many times, as my friends and I work closeby. The ambiance and drinks are adequate, yet the service and food and absolutely sub par. Tonight the owner herself offered us free potato salad which she brought to our table, and we were extremely appreciative. I took a bite, and found an extremely long black hair in my food and in my mouth!!!! Absolutely disgusting. I brought this up to the owner, cordially and nicely, and she essentially yelled at our table, was combative and asked us aggressively what can we do. I suggested a free drink, to which she denied. I do not suggest this place. They do not care about things being clean, good service or a general politeness and care to their customers. Period. There are better places in Fidi, so avoid this one. I will never come here again.
Great burger - even better seltzers.
Real gem! I liked the atmosphere, reasonable prices, but most importantly: a very nice bartender! You really feel welcome, the service is great and you get help with directions if you need it. Great place to stop for a pint!
Punt on this Pub Visit Sept 28, 2017 ( 2.5-2.9 stars) Did not plan on stopping here, karma? Making my way from the 9/11 Memorial Museum. Stopped hoping for a great pint of Guinness and a very good dessert, specifically, bread pudding. This is your normal run-of-the-mill Irish pub. If you want to settle, please stop and partake. The first sin was the Guinness was on the flat side! Second, they only had a second-hand mass produced apple pie.. . The Shot of Jamison was good on the positive. I noted the patron next to me hogging down on a bunch of fried food, if you are in to mediocre tavern food, this plac e is for you. Additionally, the ambience is nothng special, a average bar and little wood and no booths that I saw.The bathroom had no paper towels, just a hand dryer to blow peoples germs around. Yes, as another astute reviewer noted the service was good. Please note that I was one of approximately 6 people sitting at the bar. Enjoy!
Great Irish pub.
Hands down the best Irish pub anywhere. The only improvement they need is nothing. Everytime I go to NYC I will always make a stop here.😁 Kate puts that special shake on the drinks she makes.
Staff is really nice. I really enjoyed the place.
It stinks and if you make a joke when you see the bartender flirting with all the guys, you will be banned, especially if you’re not a white male.
Went out, had a girls night with a friend, and got some delicious espresso martinis. Worth it!
Exactly what a pub should be.
Lovely pub. Very friendly staff. We spent some of St Patricks Day there and it was a fantastic day!
Fair Ire-ish pub near the exchange. Nothing exceptional. Had the wrap special, so bland I was dumping ketchup in. Seasoned fries were hot. Service was typically disinterested.
Great little place to come if you want to be constantly micromanaged and harassed by the the owner/manager for: standing in the wrong place, ordering in the wrong place, not ordering enough drinks. Brought my workmates here twice - strike me dead if ever again. Wow.
Lovely place, food was excellent. The jalapeno margarita super delicious and the bartender lady its super nice and friendly. A big plus!
Great food, quick service. Cell phone service inside is spotty, so its a great place to go to get away from work for lunch, not so much if youre waiting for an important business call.
I had the pretzel and cheese sauce , was to die for , the cheese sauce alone was perfection , had the most wonderful server , she was friendly and helpful , such a cute pub , Id definitely go back .
Good atmosphere. Great bar, fast and attentive service. Did not have anything to eat.
A very quiet and welcoming bar. Some excellent choices in beers and wines. Great atmosphere where people dont bother each other.
Good food & drink. Nice ambiance. Dee & Kate are sooo nice and down to earth. Such welcoming smiles.
Cool space. Came once for drinks but this time we were able to stay and eat
Great food! Great staff!Love the lamb burger .... a had down favorite for me.
Great pub atmosphere, limited beer on tap.
This is a local place around the corner from where I live. Ruth is one of the best and most friendly bartenders in FiDi! My girl and I come here all the time.
Great guiness... food was delish.... bar tenders about as helpful as you could get... highly recommended
Shot and beer
We are here for a couple of drinks, its a nice bar you will enjoy the interiors.
Really good Irish bar and a nice place to step in out of the cold. The chicken pot pie was Huge
Irish pub with large beer list and typical bar food. Modestly priced for Fidi area.
Me and a couple friends came for a nightcap after working an event at the stock exchange. Nightcap turned into more than just one because the staff was so nice, and accommodating. Nice folks, nice selection. Definitely coming back next time im down that way. Nothing better than watching the staff cut off/kick out some hammered broker guy. We totally had their back if things got squirrelly.
Has an actual Irish person waiting tables and she’s nice. Typical food and environment.
Very nice bar in FiDi, great beer list and very helpful staff.
The burgers were excellent and service was very good.
Terrible service. On holiday in NYC from Ireland. Saw the Irish flag outside the establishment, walked in mid afternoon hoping to catch our breath and have lunch and a few pints while enjoying some Irish hospitality and atmosphere. First impressions - server was rude and abrupt, unhappy to see 2 kids with us. Gave us flack about the stroller we had pushed as far back into a corner out of the way as was physically possible. The men in the group ordered a couple pints and we ordered a few cups of tea while deciding what to eat. Pints were brought out - looking conspicuously smaller than the pints were used to at home. We remarked on this amongst ourselves wondering aloud whether the Irish pint is a different measurement than the American. The manager/owner that was eavesdropping on our conversation interrupted to rudely and defensively assure us the pint was, in fact, a pint - the Irish size - at 16 oz. Her assurances, while confident, were wrong. A pint typically served in Ireland is 20 oz - which explains why the 16 oz pints served here looked different to ppl who have had a few pints in Ireland. No big deal - no one was complaining about the size - just wondering. Some people say quality is more important than quantity - this pint had neither. The Guiness wasnt great. We took out a few biscuits for the kids while deciding what to order. MIL had a gluten free biscuit alongside her tea bc there werent ton of gluten free options on the menu. Youd think wed brought in a picnic for the whole family. The server and manager who were visibly having an open conversation about us both descended on our party - not to ask for our food order, but to both rudely order us to put the biscuits away. No harm, we decided to skip lunch here assuming the cooking likely wouldnt be much better than the service. They couldnt wait to see our backs, and we wont be back. If you want the real Irish experience, this definitely isnt it. These people have been gone from Ireland for far too long.
Go for the vibe, stay for the tots! Love the chill atmosphere and staff.
The bartender was lovely, and poured a great Tullamore and ginger!!! So refreshing we had two.
Doesn’t serve food later in the evening and no prices on their menu. Didn’t stick around.
Went with our whole office. They dont know how to make a Manhattan. It was like glass of Vermouth, even though I specifically asked for it light on Vermouth. Handled a huge crowd pretty well. Friendly people
A good old Irish pub with old school hip hop playing. Low key and relaxed.
Bartender was very nice & friendly. Good place for a drink
Great service and the Shepherds Pie really hits the spot! Can’t wait till next time!
The food here is atrocious. Like, school cafeteria bad! Was served an overpriced, poorly prepared and ice cold tuna melt. Avoid this pub. There is better food at more affordable places nearby.
Run down Irish dive priced as if it were a high end establishment. Service was decent, food kinda sucked. For the price just go somewhere nice.
The owner hates her customers. Will overcharge you for drinks
Your typical NYC Irish bar, always good service
Great food, service and music
Kate behind the bar is awesome!!!
Great food and delightful service! Deirdre was awesome and made us feel like family. This was definitely the best dining experience we have had while in NYC. I recommend this spot to anyone that finds themselves in the area. Cold beer, great food, fantastic service... What more could you ask for?
Typical Irish pub. Good size and good beer list
Love, love, love this place! It’s not your typical Irish Pub… it better! The food is amazing (pretzel bites are my go to snack). Music is great and the Bartenders and Manager makes you fell like family (in a good way...lol). And its always Cheers in there, where everybody knows your name.
Always a fun vibe in the financial district, which is always hard to find... I recommend their wings... so good!
Lonnie and Kate are amazing and the best!
The food was pathetic. The worst food I have ever had. I asked for a medium rare burger and they gave me overcooked beef. The beer was watery. The staff is extremely rude. Worst irish pub i have every been to.
Nice location, food good , close by WTC location
We had the crock of chili and the shepherds pie. Both were very tasty!
Visited twice in 2 days. Its a buy your drinks at the bar kinda joint. They serve food like wings, burgers and stuff. Liked the music and the location since I was staying close by at wall street.
We got sandwiches and a beer. The service was great, very friendly!
We go here for lunch occasionally and its been fine for most part. Today my friend ordered a chicken fillet which came out in part raw which is completely unacceptable. Im thinking if that can happen once it would certainly happen again. How does a chef take himself seriously who does that? So I wouldnt recommend going here for food, fine for a few drinks.
Great atmosphere, drink and food.
We Enjoyed our Salmon and beets salad. Kind service, pleasant rock music. Go to try.
A business that wont let you use more than 2 credit cards per table... because the manager does not want to pay the card fees on 4 cards. This was actually what our server said to us. Its not like we each only had one beer, we all ordered meals and 2 drinks. You are a business... saying that makes you look cheap and is unprofessional. The food was subpar and the service wasnt any better. Maybe it was an off day because it seems other reviewers had a completely different experience... but we would never return.
The best!
Great bar
Really enjoy it here, very friendly people good drinks and food
Different experience ... chance to hang out with locals that work nearby
The place has charm, and the staff are always friendly. My only issue is this places is insanely over priced. 9 dollar beers, 9 to 12 shots. For what you get and what they charge really not worth it. An divey pub should ne chill and cheap.
I entered this establishment for my lunch break and there had to be 4 other customers in the restaurant when I got there so I expected to be served in reasonably short amount of time. Before I put my things down the waitress approached me and asked me what I wanted to drink, I told her what I wanted and she proceeded to place a menu on my table and walk away. Instead of returning back to my table with the drink I requested she just asked me what I wanted from the menu. I asked for Fish & Chips and didnt receive it until 47 minutes later and the drink, OH I didnt get that until I actually had to remind the waitress for it. She was so busy playing on her cell phone instead of paying attention to her customers IN FRONT OF HER! When I was done eating the food and finally wanted to wash my food down with a cold beverage, I requested the drink followed by the check. It was such a weird situation already being that she forgot my drink and my food arrived after such a long time that I felt obligated to tip her being that she wouldnt stop apologizing as if she didnt mean to be on her phone the entire hour I was there. The fact that she was more worried about playing on her cell phone than attending to her customers was a shame. I definitely wont be eating from this place after that service especially since I was on my hour lunch and didnt get my meal until after 47 minutes or the drink until after the meal.
Good pint
I liked this place. It’s wasn’t my choice of eating but it was descent.
A very cozy spot, to chill.
Good food, great service
I vaguely remember walking into this place, barely remember drinking there and dont remember leaving. Next thing I recall is Im on a train from Hoboken with a bag of half-priced green frosted donuts from Dunkin.
Good food, drink prices reasonable, very friendly staff. great atmosphere good position on 7th avenue
The food is good, if pricey. Devon behind the bar is attentive.
The best French Onion soup Ive ever had.
Good Irish pub with fair pricing for the area. Staff is always great
Nice, quiet place with a great soundtrack and reasonable food options.
These people must of been drunk when they gave this place 5 stars. The food at this pub is HORRIBLE!!! My burger was dry, sweet potato fries were undercooked. They gave my husband 2 small portions of fish with a handfull of tots and charge 18 bucks for it. Well never eat here again! Shame on us for being to lazy to jump on the train where we know is real authentic good irish cookn (The perfect pint, 45 bt 6 &7th ave or St. James gate 81st and Amsterdam)
Its an Irish Pub with an ecclectic clientele.
Good food (great burger!) but a little pricey for lunch.
Killer Shepards Pie. Solid place all round.
Food was ok, service was ok, everything was ok. If u need a break from your time on Wall St, pop in and have a beer. Just dont expect much more than a cold beer.
Great food, drink, & after-work ambiance

Super nice friendly atmosphere
Its the perfect place to have a beer with a chiken pie. Good service, they only speak English. Moderate prices. Dont miss the tomato soup
The best of our stay. To do without hesitation.
