Lets start by addressing the longstanding issues with customer service and communication at this restaurant:Years ago, I enjoyed visiting this place with friends, especially for Sunday brunch, but the service has been consistently disappointing.Despite a friendly server yesterday, I had to wait 20 minutes for sour cream, which I had to get up from my seat and apparently remind her that she never brought the sour cream.. because she absolutely forgot.During a pre-fix menu brunch on Saturday, we found out there was no brunch available at that time, despite receiving a notification stating otherwise.We ended up ordering dinner 5:30pm which was served late at 7 pm.The complimentary drinks offered due to the inconvenience were very disappointing, we received watered-down mimosas and sangria.The food portions were notably small, with limited toppings and sauces.Pricing discrepancies were evident, with items costing more than listed on the menu.The quality of the food varied, from tasty buffalo wings to subpar fries.The hookah experience required multiple refills & it wasn’t even good.The evening ended in disarray, with a sudden request to vacate the premises for another event. If we wanted to stay we had to pay a $60 per person entrance fee and sit by the bar with our bottle purchased because apparently all the tables were sold out already…Overall, the experience was disorganized and left much to be desired in terms of customer service and professionalism.This establishment has unfortunately become overrated and falls short in delivering quality service and professionalism. If you seek a higher standard of service, I recommend exploring other dining options.Btw it’s dyckman parking is terrible so plan ahead & the parking lot is 3 hrs for $16 & every hr after the 3 the price goes up $10-20 depending on your vehicle …

I was so excited about the food that I forgot to take pics before we dug in.My husband and I visited for brunch. We ordered Steak & Eggs and Shrimp & Grits. I enjoyed the meal except the yuca fries tasted like they had been fried more than once. The seasoning and sauce on the shrimp were delicious, but the grits lacked flavor. Calamari was tasty, but not crispy. French toast was amazing!They do not pre-chill their bubbly so they serve mimosas with ice, thats a no for me. Mimosas should not be served on ice!DJ was on point. Every song had the crowd grooving. Promoters for the day were also very hospitable. It was a vibe!Our waitress seemed to be serving every table in the spot while the others were chilling. Not sure how their seating process works.

This was awesome the manager there has the best hospitality. I was looking for a drink to go and they didnt have it and he offered me will gave me 2 mini drinks on the house. The food was yummy nice atmosphere. By the way the Peach frozen margaritas was excellent not water down or anything. Trust me u wont be disappointed. They ladies there are beautiful and friendly unlike other establishments they be all cocky. Love it here will be going back.

I come here often, hosted one of my pop-ups here, and recently celebrated my bday here and I always have an amazing time! Bottle girls and hookeros are on top of their stuff! Communication is always clear. Music is always current! Amazing vibes!

The food was ok, I would go there for the food. The staff was polite, attentive, and good to look at. However, when the crowd come in they appear to be overwhelmed. Its a great place to hangout.

Been hearing about this place uptown for a long time decided to take my friend from Las Vegas there for brunch on Sunday although the service was excellent and a nice atmosphere, the food was very sub par. I expected so much more! This is probably just a good place to go for drinks and hookah. I do not recommend the food and parking in the neighborhood is terrible.

This place is horrible, they discriminate . They don’t even allow you to dance. After we ate, we started dancing and we got kicked out. Horrible food, horrible customer service and mind you, it was a BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION!! Trust me I’ve seen worse

As always last Sunday my friends and I had a blast at brunch! Arlix was amazing and so sweet and attentive making sure everything was organized and perfectly setup with us.She made everything stress free.Thank you so much for everything!! We will be back AGAIN🥰

I have been to this location throughout the years and the food this night was really good. The portion was perfect, the photo was the aftermath, it was so good it didnt last. The vibe is always good here.

Made in Mexico is a fun place for brunch, lunch, or dinner. Their brunch is fairly priced. I had their french toast with rum caramel bananas to start, and then I had their burger’ bun which had guacamole. Both were great! My friends and I had mimosas. Sometimes this place has a mechanical bull, soooo much fun to get on. They have a atm on site - its like a $3 fee 🤷🏽‍♀️ thought someone would like to know to go to their bank before arriving lol

This place is completely horrible!My younger son who is only 20 yrs of age had to pay an additional $50 just to get inside the place.Then only to go inside and having to pay an additional $40! The manipulation and abuse they have with under age kids is disturbing( ages 18-19 n 20) Allowing children that are under age to drink and charging them extra just to get inside. These people should be shut down and fined!I wishes my son had taken pictures and recorded it so we can report to the right people. I wished they had left but they had an engagement and were celebrating a birthday. I promise that we will go again and this time I’ll be recording and everything and everyone involved! Shame on you guys. Totally disgusting

$50 to get into a below average club, music was on repeat all night, different DJs same songs. After a certain time they stop taking card and cash only so they can jack up the prices. Coat check is forced on you so just to get past the door you’ve already spent $100, unfortunately the place is small and definitely not worth the hype specially if you’re going to be charging $50 to get in, hookah was below average and the drinks were bad as well. I would give this place 3/10 and would definitely not recommend it or be coming back here.

If I could give this place a zero I would. The service sucked, waitress was rude and disappeared. Never checked on us or see if we needed water or even extra napkins. Then they had the audacity to add their ow tip to my bill after already adding gratuity. I didnt find out until I check my bank account. I will never come here again! I will be disputing this charge by the way!

The customer service left much to be desired. The waitress took payment for several drink and food orders and never returned change even though gratuity was included in the bill. After 3 bottles and two hookahs the manager asked us to leave the table or purchase more bottles before we were even done with the last bottle we had. The food was good but the portions were astronomically small. I have seen them turn people away at the door if they arent buying straight bottles rather than individual drinks. Great music though...

If you want to have a great time you should definitely come here. Its always so live and the DJ be mixing it up. The drinks are good and strong. The hookah is a bit pricey compare to other locations, and in the winter time they do a mandatory coat check which they charge for. You are better of getting a bottle service and getting a table.

The waitress accused my friend of being drunk at 7:30 pm on a Tuesday, offered him water and said she could not serve a drunk person. It was incredibly rude to treat someone like that without some deductive reasoning or asking leading questions. To just assume? On what basis. Anyways this embarrassed my friend and we took our food to go.

Reserved Sunday brunch for my daughters 23rd bday in January 2019 for a party of about 25. (PRO) great CHEF 》》》The food was absolutely delicious. The DJ is energized, experienced as he played all different genres.. We had a blast- we wanted to dance all afternoon/evening long 💃🕺💃🕺💃🕺💃🕺(CON) SADLY, very, very UNORGANIZED!!! although we made our reservations 2 weeks in advance.. we were seated in a corner where we barely fit. Our guests were uncomfortable. Extremely Slow turtle service. NOTABLY understaffed!!! MY condolences to the waiters 😭😭😭..PLEASE Hire more serversASAP!! Youre business has potential and Its an enjoyable environment.

My first time there for my girlfriends birthday brunch I miss brunch so I can give you too much on the stars for that but the place was very nice and the drinks were okay no complain very nice place

I went for my birthday brunch. The hostess was so rude and just blah I had to seat down and start my 2 hours as soon as I got there even thought my whole party wasn’t there cause they were parking they took 30 min to even bring the drinks the food was blah the music was so low and The waiter wasn’t even inviting after our 2 hours we were rushed to leave like I literally had my drink in my hand when they came 3 time to ask us to leave after we spent 330 dollars there claiming they had another party but there was clearly no one in sight it was an horrible experience and it sucks cause that where I spent my birthday

The food is Nasty!!! The place would be on a 100% if they took the time to work on the food. The DJ was great the place was beautiful. The food is trash. Cold food.

Last night me and my fiance went here to have a great time. We ordered shrimp tacos and al pastor tacos the shrimp were amazing he loved it. The al pastor tacos tasted bad the meat was real mushy and had a werid after taste. The ceviche was on point though definately would recommend we had that also guacamole & chips. We had one small table we ordered so much food and drinks the guy serving us grabbed another table. He grabbed that table to fit all of our food. Later when we were just drinking after we had been done with the food the hostess comes like yeah you guys moved the table. A bit aggressive the way she said it then she goes you got more people coming we were like no the guy who served us food moved it because we needed more space to put the food we didnt have enough on our table. She then goes when your done and your food comes I can have the table back I told her were done we already ate you can have it. But the whole way she approached the situation like Oh you guys moved the table all agressive was really uncalled for. We paying customers and its a table its not like its something huge. Kinda rubbed me the wrong way. So overall experience is a 3/5. Food not all that and the hostess talking like that yeah not okay. But we had a lovely lady taking our orders making sure if we needed anything she was attentive and the staff were amazing grabbing our empty plates cleaning the tables.

Made a reservation and when I got there they asked $20 for entry. I wasn’t told I needed to pay $20 for entry in additional to what I was going to spend for food when I called for reservations. I didn’t think I should be paying $20 for me to eat there. No Good! My reservation was at 10:15pm by that time the place was full with young kids smoking hookah. Not the same made in Mexico I went to 2 years ago. They lost a customer.

Went there for brunch on 8/21/16, the hostess and waitress were very nice. If you want to eat sample size plates for brunch then this this is the place to go. The portion are so small, theyre more like appetizers. The music was so loud that we couldnt here each other talk at the table, we literally had to yell across the table. But they really killed me when they said that theres no coffee. No coffee for brunch? Who does that? really? Well, I love coffee specially during brunch. Not kids friendly at all. The Hookah smoke is all over the place at 1:OO PM. If you want to hang out with friends, smoke hookah and listen to loud music during brunch then this your place.

This location has no rhyme or reason. The music is not good and the staff makes their own rules. If you come to this location you are allegedly allow to stand at a table WITH your mask on. However, security will force you to take a seat. Being told one thing and then another is not cool. Spend you money else where!

I went to this place to meet up with my girl and her family for her bday. Seating space like a roller coaster seat (no space) the table on my stomach the food had too much salt and vinegar. The people I was with bought a bottle of something I didnt like so I got up went to the bar bought a drink when I went to get another one the other bar tender said I cant order at the bar because I was seating down. In other words she was forcing me into their tab. I have never seen a place that push away money/customers and the customer isnt right. At the end I still paid part of the tab but I wasnt happy with the food and service.

The most irresponsible restaurant I have made reservations with.The least that could’ve been done yesterday was give me a call back.I will be giving this review on the website as well! My daughter was looking forward to eating at your place and I drove all the way from PA to take her. I called on Thursday to rsvp and a host took all my information down I even asked about bringing a cake ;To come and find out I was not called back to confirm my reservation and my name was no where to be found. On top of it all I called and called with no answer. The most irresponsible host and horrible organization!

No reservation was needed but if your going with a big group you have to get there early because it’s kimited in the seating. Either then that the host in the front she was nice and helpful and the workers are amazing. Great place good music (small shots) overall I’ll go again

We made a birthday reservstion and got a back corner by bathroom. Spent 1k and got. Treated terrible. Will never come to this ghetto establishment again. The owners must have have care before 2021 this place was poppin.

Went for memorial day, it was not great. First off the music is blasting so hard i cant even make conversation with the girl next to me. Lower the volume, its a dinner joint and its 7p.m. on a Monday. Then I asked for my plate to go and never got it back. Waited 30 minutes, then the check came and I still didnt see my food.. Wasted $50

I had a surprise brunch yesterday for my birthday, my cousins picked the spot. The food was ok but the service was horrible. After we finish brunch we staid to continue the festivities but the waiter never came back, then a man returned and said our time is up and we would have to make orders at the bar unless we was getting a bottle. I asked for prices he said $150 special.. about 30 minutes later I try to order the bottle he then said “oh no that was only till 5 now it’s $240” he did not mention the time limit so whatever i said never mind i wanted to order more food and regular drinks, he refused and asked we go order at the bar. Then my cousin asked for a hookah he also sent him to the bar!? Who orders hookah at the bar? Anyways someone else from my table walks towards the bar and hears the gentleman tell the bartender if they ask you how much for the bottle tell them$400.. clearly he just wanted us to leave. The last one was i asked a different waiter for a piña colada, she said that she will bring me it. he walked up to her after and told her no! Came back to my table and told me again i cant order i have to go to the bar. So my party of 10 people got up and left ! Horrible customer service. Will never return.

Food is good, but the bar tender game a hard time to sell me a beer. My Id was expire but he took the chance to show it to 3 different people first and after five minute and showing my Id around he decide to yes sale me the beer a very unpleasant moment.

This place was full of local flare, and the bouncers were cool. Drink service was a little slow and awkward but the price was right. People of all backgrounds enjoying themselves to salsa, rap, merengue. Id go back, reserve a table to enjoy myself a little more.

Classic dyckman turn up spot.Food is good, have been here for brunch and dinner and can’t complain.Prices are inline with the area for liquor, food, and hookah.Hookah itself is on-point, not under/overpacked.Good spot to celebrate birthdays with loud music. Music is a mix but primarily Spanish.Minus the one star as had to constantly get the attention of my waitress when I needed something last time I was here while she was chillen at the bar.

I would give it 3 stars for the tasty food BUT the wait was horrible for reserved seating!& once my party got to the table we were offered drinks which is good but not on an empty stomach Lol. The hookah guys really have to tone it down with harassing every 5 mins., and if you don’t know how hookah works they will get paid every time they come by meanwhile the hookah is not ready to be changed yet. Other than that the music is super chill but depending where you’re sitting it’s super loud and have to make sure the waiter is hearing you. I will try visiting during the day and see the difference.

Dont go on a Sunday. They make people wait on line and only let in people that they know. Second time this happens to me. And the place doesnt even be packed. The service is horrible. The server was rude! After getting two bottles with my homegirls the server had the nerve to tell is that she needed the table we were using for other people. Horrible

This place has a weird ambiance. The waitress we had appeared annoyed out of nowhere and didnt understand simple questions regarding menu. Drinks were overall good. Ordered nachos and guac. They both tasted good. Felt bloated and totally sick after nachos. Also its tough to tell if this is for adults or kids. If you come here dont be surprised if you encounter a 17th birthday party.

I love the hookah ladies there!!! Those nachos were to die for. Definitely a perfect spot for ladies night. Happy hour was 5 to 9 and the 1st hookah AND refill was free!!..but only on Thursdays.

The place is very nice and amazing music. I rated it so low because I ordered food and it never came. The servers came out with steak and maduros and salmon and Maduro which is not what I ordered. When I asked about my food, they claim they bought the food out which is not what I ordered. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and 2 fish tacos and 1 shrimp taco that never came. Very upsetting because the vibe is really great. But they insisted on telling me that the kitchen is closed rather than fixing the mistake. Not good customer service in my opinion.So shortly after, the lady taking the orders pulled me aside and showed me a video of ppl that were a part of my party eating. However, the video does not show the food being brought out so this proved nothing. The place is trying to say they brought out food and ppl from my party ate it. Thats really low. We watched because we were waiting. The video proved nothing but ppl eating but not what they were eating. Neither did they show me a video of tacos and quesadillas being brought out. So it proves nothing. Sorry your staff failed with this one.

We waited an hour to be seated there is no way to know if its your turn unless you ask the host, when we were seated and ordered food i was approached and was told i cant sit where i was seated, excuse me? So i told them if you get me another table i will gladly move, if not ill wait for my food and then ill give you the chair, instead of getting another table the workers watched me eat my food so the second i put my fork down they came and took my plate, I immediately got up and tossed the chair to the side. One of the guys who work there had the nerve to come up to me and ask me if i was still mad then ask why. I finished my pitcher of sangria and just walked out!!!! This place is just beyond the worse service Ive ever experienced.

My favorite mexican restaurant in the heights!Amazing service, food, music and drinks! The Happy hour is Mon-Fri from 5-10pm. Cant get any better than that!Free Valet parking until 10pm on weekdays.Highly recommended for any occasion!

Great spot to have fun with your friends! The drinks get you drunk, the food and hookah is good, the waitresses are attractive, the manager is always there, he’s somewhat nice.

If you’re from out of town, don’t come! They talk to you and treat you like you are slow simply because you have questions (typically happens when you are traveling to a new area) especially the “security” at the door. Oh and if you’re expecting hookah as advertised on the site, don’t get your hopes up

Not actual Mexican food, more like Dominican food with a Mexican twist. And the food isnt that great either. If you go at night have fun with the big lady at the door. ((UPDATE)) If you’re not “their” ppl they will find every & any reason to stop you from going in. Make sure you’re not overcharged on your debit/credit cards either. Smh

So unprofessional service. I went this friday to have dinner with my husband and the waitress was unkind and rude. My option was a mojito not good at all and my husband decided for a cold beer which was hot, I told the waitress, her answered was they all hot..i think they just care about the money and the people who spend more$. The food was so so...but customer service was very unprofessional. Wont go back ever again!

The place is nice, decent beautiful women go there but i was so annoyed and frustrated with the music. Its supposed to be a spanish place, they barely played salsa and merengue even less bachata. I was there grom 6pm til 11pm and they only played 2 bachata during those 5 hours. They played only hip hop, reggaeton, and rap. I even told the dj several times to play some bachata and didnt put it. IM NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN.

The employees were unprofessional and rude when you are asking them to repeat themselves over the loud music. Also, the bouncers were so unprofessional. If you’re not a light skinned Dominican and speak fluent Spanish, you will be waiting a long time to enter. If there isn’t a line you’ll be given all rudeness and dirty looks as you enter.

The sangria is really good, the red one. The appetizers were decent too. However, the ppl that work there are ridiculous. Because I was having a bad day I didn’t feel like arguing, but I ordered a skirt steak, as I always eat this steak no matter what restaurant I’m at. They brought me this steak that looks like it was either a cubed steak or hanger steak that was cut into a strip like a skirt steak. 2X I said something to the waitress but she told me twice no it’s skirt steak. I’ll probably never go here again, first and last time. I despise spending $300 on a bill of food and to be this disappointed.

So I don’t really know where to start but this place has really taken a turn for the worst... In the mist of a pandemic you would think that hospitality and customer relations would be a top priority but here and made in Mexico you are greeted With nothing but attitude from the time you walk in the door starting with the hostess to the wait staff... Everyone makes it seem like they are doing you a favor by letting you eat there and dine, Save your money save your time save your energy for anywhere else but here.

Went there with some friends once and I really loved the food and the service. The drinks were really good and the atmosphere made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

Was a TERRIBLE experience for my birthday dinner.... when I went to ask questions they told me everything I believed I needed to know and once the day came they seem to changed everything... there was supposedly no 6 pm reservation and then there was... issues with putting hookah on the table... issues with table time... I wasnt able to get my drink until even knew what they wanted to eat.... and then there excuse was that the lady thats there on weekday doesnt know the rule of the weekends.... as a restaurant they need to inform EVERY MEMBER OF THERE STAFF about all changes and all new rules they have because it was so upsetting for me... the manager really tired her best to help us but after being spoken down to but all her workers I was outta there and took my party of 10 & our money somewhere else 😒 Only good thing was the music...

The atmosphere is awesome, no cover charge but the dj tonight was not versatile at all.

Its sad to look at the reviews and notice how the owner only writes to those who give 5 stars but has nothing to say to those who experienced a bad time at this location right here shows that the owner dont care. If you go on other reviews you see the owner’s or companies writing back to those with bad experiences apologizing but right here you see the owner not writing anything he should be apologizing and making sure he fixes these issues.

NICE ATMOSPHERE... NICE FOOD AND VERY GOOD MUSIC... THE WAITRESSES IS VERY ATTENTIVE TO YOUR WISHES AND THEY ALSO MAKE SUGGESTIONS,TOO...IF YOURE INTO LATIN ATMOSPHERE FOOD AND DRINK THIS IS A HIGHLY RECOMMENDED PLACE TO GO TO....

More of a Dominican spot than a Mexican spot. They play all the hottest Dominican trap music.They are good about large parties of people, but if you are considering bringing a large party beware of social pressure and holding a seating area and not spending any money. Also come on time cause of this place popularity you will lose your reservation. Someone will ask you you move.Dope spot. Its hard to talk and mingle because the parties stick together. But the Dominician music is on point. Its no place to dance though just a turn up with your friends spot.

Great food, great drinks, great music, fun people. The only thing that sucks is the the hangover the next day.It gets super packed. Be prepared to have to push yourway to the bar.

This lounge was great. We had made reservations for the table. After a while it turns from a lounge into a dance club. It had hookah for those interested in that time. I dont do hookah. But the smeell of it wasnt overwhelming.The food was great. I ordered a fish that had been seasoned with a garlic lemon sauce with mash potatoes. We also shared a pitcher of their Made in Mexico sangria. It was delicious.They played music from pop and hip hop artist and then delved into Spanish music. overall I would go again

I went to this place to celebrate graduation with some friends.. Its a very nice place, music was good, food was good though really expensive. But if youre looking to go to a nice restaurant in the night, this place is fine.

Staff was unprofessional and unfriendly, tried to get their attention to place an order and was ignored. Waitresses looked right at me and ignored me for 20 minutes until I left because of lack of service.

The music is way to LOUD!!! Also one of the speakers was right next to the table I was sitting at had to move if not I wouldve walked out of place DEAF..

I guess I have to be Dominican to rated five stars.. because the only music they played is Dominican..it doesnt matter if you are from another country and how much money you spent. If you request another kind of music THEY WONT PLAY IT. be prepared to only listen to: merengue, bachata, and denvo.. and the funny thing it is called MADE IN MEXICO!!

Better Mexican cuisine restaurants around Spanish Harlem like Cafe Ollin/San Cristobal or El Paso with cheaper, better food and with much better customer service. Well I when on Friday night and was a good atmosphere. Bartender which was a decent girl take care of my wife and me very well, the 360 selfie device guy very nice too. On the other hand the girl in the front need to be taking care because first, the security check the girl in an inappropriate way (touching private parts) she was a short and big girl. No good doing her job. The ladies taking the jackets play favoritism because the force some people to pay the 5 dollars and removed the jackets while other people go in with the jacket and everything. I think rules are for everyone. The security man outside was ok. Thanks. I really like to go to this place but I think the manager need to work harder.

BEWARE they charge their own gratuity here, it doesnt matter how small the order, it doesnt matter if you are alone. A gratuity will be charged on every bill. Literally charged me gratuity for 2 drinks. I know thats illegal. If a restaurant charges you an automatic gratuity go to 311 website and report them under Restaurant Surcharge Complaint so always keep your receipts because it will ask you to upload the evidence.

I ordered a passion fruit margarita pitcher. It was the worst drink I’ve ever had in my life. Who ever made that pitcher should be fired and arrested. Not only did it not taste like any alcohol, but it tasted awful. So bad in fact it gave my friends and I a raging stomachache. We could not even finish the pitcher because it was so bad. Which says a lot because we went there to drink. If you want a good drink just go ahead and get yourself a bottle, because they can’t mess that up.

Watched security steal someone’s phone and charged him to get it back. They discriminate and pick and choose who they charge. No drink or food service at tables unless you’re buying bottles. Security has an attitude, I should be the one with the attitude you patting down my privates. Oh and it’s cash only at the door but they charge a $8 ATM fee.

The place itself is great for a person that wants to eat good food and have good music to dance to. However the management doesnt care at all about their customers experience. My father had a reservation for 3pm for 25 people for brunch, with a 150 deposit made upon reservation. Our party arrived at 2:15 PM. Come 3 PM we are told that the oven was not working properly and tables were behind with getting their food. The hostess did not care and was extremely dismissive. Our group was not seated until 3:40 PM, but management told a cousin of mine due to the inconvenience the kids were free. The food took a very long time as expected due to their oven issues, they never tended to anyone unless it was part of the food order during the round or just bringing a pitcher for the bottomless, I asked for a glass for my uncle he never received and was never tended to, they only care about the money and that’s it. The servers were not attentive to our party and At the end 1 of the 3 chicken tenders and fries that were ordered were comped. So many other restaurants will treat their customers so much better for such an inconvenience. My little sisters food was still charged, they could not be bothered to come through on a promise to even comp the guest of honors young children, the children were not even given or offered juice, they all only drank ice water. Speaking to management, he was extremely dismissive about my concern regarding my father’s wife having to pay for the 2 out of the 3 chicken tenders and fries, with the $748 bill. This business does not care about customer service, they do not care about their customers, and I would say you should choose anywhere else to go.

The restaurant itself is very beautiful but the waitresses have very nasty attitudes. I attended here for a birthday brunch and there menu isn’t very inclusive to everyone. As someone who doesn’t eat meat there brunch menu doesn’t cater to someone like myself. I wouldn’t recommend anyone come here before 5pm

From the very first day I entered this place, I was treated like family. The food is amazing, the drinks and prices are very good. The staff? Super super friendly, attentive, and go above and beyond to make sure you are well taken care of. When Im there I feel like Im with family and Ive been a regular patron ever since. The atmosphere here isn’t really for everyone. This restaurant in particular has a tendency for getting extremely crowded. Have that said the music is always good and they play something for everyone. The drinks are good especially the frozen margaritas. The bartenders could be more friendly although it’s understandable since they’re so busy.

Service has been slow when Ive been, but the food and drinks are pretty good. Not great. A little overpriced. Overall, the place isnt very Mexican. Maybe Mexican-inspired.Been here a couple times with coworkers after work, it was pretty good. But I think what really threw me off was when I went on Cinco De Mayo and there was literally nothing going on. No specials. No vibe. No decorations. Place was so dead and it was like 7-8pm. It just felt like any other day. Ended up going to an Irish pub instead that had more Cinco De Mayo festivities going on.

Yesterday I went with some family members that are not from NY. One of them that was on the way had only a picture ID (because things happen and it was lost) and I asked the server if it would be okay and they said sure. So when he came in they did not let him in, one of my family members went with me to talk to them because we had already ordered his food. After I realized it was a lost cause and he would not be able to come in. Let me remind you this is a restaurant or so I thought. I see a female security guard checking my cousins bag again. I am confused because her bag was already checked. This time they also decided to touch her and the security guard cupped her in her private area. Everything was so sudden but it does not make sense to check someone twice especially when they were already seated at a restaurant. Drinks taste like medicine and food was not good. Servers were cool though the star is for them. There are better Mexican restaurants around try La Catrina.

Made reservations for 9 at 10 pm. Because some of the people of my party weren’t present they wouldn’t seat us till the whole party was there. We decided to try to go to playroom till the rest of the party came but playroom had a strict dress code which doesn’t allow females to wear sneakers. After speaking to playrooms manager when she confirmed that she couldn’t let me in for wearing sneakers but she could let my girlfriend in because she dresses more masculine, I was heated. Long story short she spoke to Made in Mexico’s manager and they let us in. At this point it was almost midnight but whatever still had a blast in made in Mexico.

Went there on a Friday night for dinner. The djs and party atmosphere were great, food was good. Ordered passion fruit , Strawberry mojitos and a Strawberry frozen margarita and I didnt like it.

Love the brunch and love the music

I spent my birthday here. I was helped by Alix, she helped me from the beginning to the end. She even followed up with me with reservations. The day of my brunch my party was really late but I had a large party come. She still accomadated me and we even bought bottles after brunch. I love made in Mexico and everything about it. This was probably the best birthday brunch I’ve had.

Very unprofessional personnel. The whole operation of reservations makes no sense whatsoever. I requested a reservation on Tuesday March 30 for Saturday April 3; I have an email confirmation from the website. I didn’t hear back so I called the restaurant, the phone rung endlessly and then some guy from the restaurant texted me. I have screen shots of everything and recorded voice message he sent me. He told me I had to wait until 9pm. I waited until 9:30. I sent a message back to him asking for confirmation. I checked the website to lookup the reservation and I did see it was confirmed, I also have a screen shot of that. This man canceled my reservation saying, “No phone, no reservation”. Which made entirely 0 sense. He was texting on my phone for gods sake and when you fill out the form online it also asks for a phone number, which I did provide. This place is so unorganized. I will never do business with them and I will make sure anyone I know sees and knows the type of experience and service I received without even sitting down to eat. Needless to say, I definitely dodged a bullet.

Came here with friends, there was no line, and we got a table quickly. The decor and art inside is beautiful, definitely aesthetically pleasing. We went early, music was good and it wasnt crowded. However definitely gets lit after a certain time and chairs are removed, reccomend going early if you want to sit and eat. This is the place you want to go to if you want to dance, drink, and listen to good Latin music. Food was good not the best authentic Mexican food I have had but still very delicious. The atmosphere is definitely more Dominican than Mexican. Super fun place with great music.

They have great music, people who come to party and hookah. However, the service here is trash!!! The waitresses don’t know what they’re doing and constantly get orders wrong. They tried to kick us out like 5 times in the middle of our meal and trying to order drinks.(We reserved a booth a week ahead that we never got and were still trying to be kicked out for “taking up a table”) They wouldn’t even take our order back when we said multiple times it wasn’t what we ordered and the steak was way to pink. It also took 30-40 min for them to bring us a bottle every time we requested one. It isn’t for all the hype. The food is good not great nothing spectacular, the steak is great when it’s cooked properly. P.S. the place is way smaller than it seems in pictures.

First, I thought this place was a restaurant. It is, but its mostly a night club at night. When there last night with my wife, the place was nice but not what we expected. Its definitely a young crowd. We not old, but not for us.Secondly, the waitress came once and never again. She gave us one drink each and didnt even bring the bill. We could have walked out, but we wanted more. This place actually lost money. After 40 minutes of not getting serviced we waved down a second waitress. It took her 35 minutes to finally come back to say our second order was not placed.Just overall bad business. I know 100% sure the couple next to us left without paying.They waitresses to provide services, rather than hoeing around the same table....whom we knew and they got lots of free drinks. No one was paying attention.We didnt get charged for all of our drinks either. So if you want free stuff, go here Saturday nights....lol.The wings and tostones were okay. Platanos needed some flavor (garlic...salt ... something.) But the ketchup helped lol

My delivery was missing an entire order. I tried several times to contact them via phone and text and no one answered. The customer service was non-existent. It was $30 worth of food. I contacted the delivery company and their response was to contact the restaurant. My contacting the delivery company has nothing to do with the restaurant not answering my calls or text messages.

The wait was long for outside dining. The waitress kept assigning us a table then another woman kept asking us to stand back in line. After being seated the food took extremely long to come out. The hookah had nearly finished once the food arrived. They gave no napkins. While I enjoy ALL music I did notice the Hiphop & R&B songs were turned down while playing....Close to midnight they began to ask us to stand to remove the chairs of all the people including others. While we were aware of the time of closure we werent finished with our drinks or hookah. All of the blacks and darker skin people were standing and you could look over and see many hispanic customers were still seated, taking pictures, drinking and having fun. The IRONY that many of the people that were asked to leave were darker skin Dominicans. The three appitiezers and three drinks ran us $180.00...I will spend my money where it is valued next time.
