Had a blast playing pool for the first time at Space Billiards in Koreatown! The place has a great vibe, perfect for a night out. The tables are top-notch, and the staff made us feel right at home. We enjoyed some tasty food and drinks while playing, which were all delicious. Whether you’re new to pool or an experienced player, Space Billiard is a fantastic spot to hang out, eat, and play. Highly recommend!

A spacious environment for billiards. Due to the low volume, it was fairly quiet, but we did find ourselves interfering with neighboring games from time to time.For groups of 8+, drinks are a required purchase, so pricing may be higher than anticipatedThe lemonade was carbonated, which was a bit surprising since I asked for plain lemonade.

Fantastically chill vibe during the day. Rowdier at night, yet still a calm and safe environment. Our bartender Herman was amazing! Not only was he super friendly, but he let us try red vodka shooters twice that were amazing. Out of all the bars in K-Town this is the one to visit! Herman also offered complimentary popcorn. He made our night!

Great place to hangout with friends, we were able to get a table right away on a Thursday night. Fun atmosphere, good music, and clean area. They have drinks and food that you can order while playing. Will definitely be coming back here, good pricing as well

If youre in the area and looking for a place to hangout, this isnt a bad spot. It is a bit annoying though when Im playing and the server keeps coming by, first about the one drink minimum to play (was there a sign?), then asking if i wanted to extend my time by 30 mins, then coming back with my card charged when i still had time left. bc she served me a required drink Im obligated to tip. I guess Im used to billiards where they hand you your stuff and leave you alone.

Cool spot but they automatically add 20% gratuity. When this small dude came to “read” me my receipt, he was covering the gratuity part with his thumb. Pretty scummy to add gratuity when we were not really being served. Only reason I did not get upset was because of this young lady working there, she was very pleasant and helpful at the end. Anyways good vibes thoughhhhh

FUN PLACE but with unnecessarily high prices. 1 hour of pool a few drinks and some food was $160 *after $27 tip* FOR JUST 2 PEOPLE. The charge also wasnt itemized so I couldnt be sure we got the Happy Hour price even tho we were there at 5:30/6 and doing the math even if we didnt get the Happy Hour prices it was a random extra $9 bucks I couldnt figure out for the life of me. The music was great the food was delicious . The drinks were so-so ( room temp beer) Just be sure youre getting what you pay for and youll have a good time. I didnt want to debate over the prices because I know with pandemic places are struggling but I also dont think anyone should be getting ripped off. So just be aware.

Great place to enjoy 1-2 hours with friends and a game of pool

This place was pretty cool and Im glad we got to play billiards. The problem though was the sketchy requirement to order some food during our time at the table after ordering multiple drinks at the bar and being given popcorn by the bartender. The host said we had to order some food, even though it wasnt written anywhere. He tried to say it was due to COVID, but if thats the case, have the bartender say something.In the end we didnt order food after being bothered a couple of times. We both just had dinner earlier and so we were full and there was nothing written requiring us to pay for food. If you guys want to get more money from your patrons, write it down beforehand and let your patrons know before they put their name down and wait. They ended up charging us 20% gratuity on the drinks (was gonna tip anyways) but also the $30/hr pool. We paid our bill and left, but was definitely feeling taken advantage of for such a cool place.

Alexa is a great waitress and very attentive. Wasted no time to check on our table and make sure our drinks and food were replenished.I highly recommend to anyone looking for a good time.

Great pool place. I spend my bday here and definitely will be back. Its a busy place so try to get reservations. The staff is great and so was the food ! I tried the sampler so we tried a few things. You have to take the elevator to the 12th floor. Just so theres no confusion.

The black security guard/bouncer was unnecessarily aggressive, telling us to leave while we were deciding what to order. Guy needs to relax and be retrained

I had such a great experience and Space Bar. The staff was extremely accommodating and courteous. I’d like to give special props to Jae and Orlando for their great customer service skills and attention to detail.

They charge a 20% “tip” on bar bills and don’t show it marked on the receipt and trick you into tipping more. So just be careful and check before paying. Pretty scummy practice.

Space billiards was our go to for ktown, however, yesterday when we went, as soon as we were brought to our table, we were told we MUST order drinks whether it was an alcoholic beverage or a soft drink.I’ve been to space billiards over a dozen times at this point pre-pandemic and post. The last time I was here was a month ago and never had to be forced to purchase drinks.Needless to say, as soon as I asked to speak to the manager, I was suddenly not forced to purchase drinks.Beware of their “new” policy and please always stand up for yourself if you are not comfortable.Always ask for an itemized receipt!!

This place has around a dozen tables. They hold your credit card on entry and the table is $24 per hour. They have table service with a buzzer at arch table to call for service. The tables, balls and cues are decent. They have two single toilets. The selection of drinks is limited but ok. When we were there (a Monday evening) they were not a full capacity so we got a table straight away.

Amazing place with great atmosphere! We were here for a few hours and they really looked after us while we were there. Andy was the best host!!!

I was looking for a fun place/bar after having dinner, and so happy that I was recommended to this place - play the pool, enjoy good drinks, and just have fun at the area!! This is the best pool hall Ive visited in NYC.. Look for GUN for the best experience :P

My friends decided they wanted to play some games and found this place. The place was great! The only thing I didn’t like was the music, not good and very old music. A little too much dance genre for me. My friends and I liked their margarita drink that was able to be served for 3 people which came in handy but if you don’t like to share drinks then definitely choose another! Other than that service was great and it was good time and goodnight spent.

*CREDIT CARD FRAUD* We visited this place last week while visiting manhattan, we came in and straight away the female server was difficult to deal with which we just pushed to the side as a potential language barrier due to us being british, Pool was okay, although more expensive than most other places, we weren’t ordering any food or drinks as we were just waiting for a reservation nearby at medium rare.Because of this when it came time to pay the bill it was only the $30 hour table fee that was needed to pay, we made the server (same lady) very aware we didn’t want to tip as we hadn’t ordered any food/drinks and therefore received any service (very fair I think). The server agreed and we signed off the receipt with a 0% tip and the fact that we had requested any autogratuity to be removed, since then we have arrived home to find we were charged gratuity which falls under the premise of credit card fraud as we signed off on another amount. Truly disappointing that a place in such a prominent location can be taking part in such nefarious activities. Please reach out immediately to settle this *CREDIT CARD FRAUD*.

No worth the price , we came in looking to get the package deal that say is up to 6 people . They said no be said we couldn’t get the package cause we were 5 . When we were trying to ask about pricing the initial girl walked away. We went over to the register to ask for two hours table and were told yes . Then after like a 30 minutes they said we only had 15 minutes left . He walked away for a minute to figure out what happen and came back to say we had to leave in the morning 10 minute It was supposed to be an hour because they had a wait list. If we wanted to stay we had to go on a wait list. We got kicked out before our food even arrived . Do no recommend over priced, slow service and they don’t know how to communicate.

$40 a table for an hour, fine. After we gave them a credit card to hold and sat down they said it was a 4 drink minimum for 4 people…ok fine. The overpriced, mixed drinks came out with barely any alcohol. Near the end of the hour we were told that we were supposed to have 4 more drinks BEFORE we started the next hour, then have 4 more DURING that 2nd hour. (At that point we already had 6)…we weren’t told any of this ahead of time. We realized that this place was super shady, so we closed the table and found out that they automatically charged gratuities to our card.

A great place to have a few drinks and shoot some pool. The price is a touch high per hour, but its nyc, so its expected. Service is beyond phenomenal, super friendly staff, food looked great, and drinks were good. Overall, it was a really nice time and will definitely be returning in the future!

I came to this spot with my friends a totally of 5 of us. When we arrived the place was DEAD. We were the only folks there. We had a great time ofc we are fun people but this place is just another pool place nothing special about it. My only problem is the added gratuity to the bill. We were 5 people on our own for half the time and werent asked if we were ok or needed anything AT ALL. The guy only came to remind us we had 5 minutes left. Thats it. So youd understand why we felt outraged at the forced gratuity for no service.Theres other reviews here under Lola Williams and Henry John that had the same experience. The establishment replied back to Lola saying that the gratuity is stated on the menu and TV screen for price transparency. I thought that was a crummy response because we didnt look at the menu at all we just wanted to play pool and what if others are the same? Thus, why not tell me to my face when I ask how much for 1 hour that itll be this much PLUS gratuity when I first arrive? Worried its going to scare people away?Overall: expensive and nothing unique about it. If anything Id say youd have more fun for your buck playing pool at Dave and Busters. Genuinely.My friends and I wont be coming back and we are spreading word letting everyone we know to do the same.

Waited for an hour for a table. Then the server told us our table was ready and that the price was $70!!! Even though we were told $40 when we walked in. Dont mind the expensive drinks if we can play, but expensive drinks plus being scammed just is not acceptable. Avoid this place.

The service isnt all to talk about. TIPPING 20% SHOULD NOT BE FORCED. OR it should be included in the price. Thats just a way of hiding the total price of the nightBecauseof this I would say this is one of the more expensive places in the area but not because its better. Prices seem to fluctuate, but at our last stay said 60 dollars a hour, drinks we went to get at the bar. And 20% more on everything because of gratitude.We asked for total before we entered they said nothing of this. The prices seem to be so inconsistent. Its hard to recommend this place over the other pool halls.

Dislike this Billiard Hall. So the cocktails are all water down, tastes like juice and extremely sweet . For three drinks, about $72 ! Also the 18% gratuity is included. Total gratuity was of 38% , since they use touch pad. Always mention to the guest and is up to us to tip more or not based on service .The tables pools are ok, the only fun part of this spot is the neon lights and how cool it looks .Overall dont waste your money, go somewhere else.

So much fun here! the price is extremely fair for your own table and the bartender (weekends) is so sweet and nice 🥰😊as well as the other staff such as the gentleman taking ID’s at the door. good music too. strong drinks. haven’t tried the food yet but smells good! 100% coming back soon!

Had a great time at the venue however what followed after is why I am giving this place such a bad review. Ten minutes before our tables was up the warned us, which was fine. Right when we finished, they showed us to the elevator. Later I realized that they never gave me back my credit card. After reaching out that day exactly when they opened they said to call back later. Later that night and the next day they didnt answer a single one of 12 calls. Had to cancel my card and get a new one, still no answering or response. I know it is somewhat my responsibility to ask for my card back , but after a few drinks and it being 1 am. It was way more their responsibility for them to it back themselves.

Pretty cool space with great lighting and just general lay out is very accommodating if you have a large or small group. wasnt asked once if we wanted any drinks or anything, kinda felt ignored in that way but dont really care either. prices are decent for midtown. would def come back just to play pool

Drinks were GREAT! I waited over 30 minutes for my food and watching everyone else get their food (which was mine and my friends) but the guy was kind and gave us free shots even tho the man who took our order told us the food would come in 10 minutes and they had cheese even though they had no cheese. May seem childish but we needed to catch a train and the food didn’t come out even though we were told it was coming over 4 times by the staff

I spotted this cool looking place and popped in for a quick drink.Awesome place to hang out with friends for evening drink and play pool. The food was excellent along with a great atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and service was very efficient. I wanted to ensure that my cocktails were good. The clientele is more hipster than flapper and the music more 2017’s than 2010’s but the ice comes in chunks and the creative Soju flavor cocktails they serve are tops around K-town.Social and energetic, great place to hang our, Highly recommended.!! :)

$130 for an hour of pool, 6 beers and 3 shots of watered down liquor. Smfh. Then they have the audacity to tip themselves $28 on top of that. Do yourself a favor and head to the Cellar Dog or The Amsterdam.

$75 for one hour on a pool table and the drinks are not good. Definitely not worth it at all. Not to mention, the bartender is rude. He takes forever, serves other customers before you (even after you were there first) and doesnt seem like he can multi task at all.Overall a terrible experience. Go somewhere else if you want to have a good night.

Was hanging out with The Crew celebrating my birthday weekend. My cousin suggested this place. It was late at night and the place was busy (multiple clubs and other facilities there). Has a good chat with the Bouncer/security. When we got there, place looked busy with all the people waiting to play or just chilling at bar. When we got to a table, we were told we must order drinks (1 drink per person. The inside was nice and we had fun playing. Just again: be mindful of time as it WILL be crowded due to other people hanging out. It was fun. Wouldnt mind trying them again

Right when we entered, we felt a good vibe, nice place, not so loud music like some other billiards, clean tables.But wait, not everything can be right; we had an hour.We ordered food, some apetizers around 45 minutes before our hour, thinking it would be here max in 15 minutes, and we will still have 30 minutes. Nope, it took them more than 45 minutes for the food to bring. So it was a bummer. Food was good, though. Then, when we were checking out, they charged us around $27 extra we noticed and talked to them; it took them so long to fix it.

Riddler vibes in the elevator (was fun at first) and then we get kicked off of pool table after 45 minutes even though we were still eating and had paid for an hour. Service staff is super nice - they deserve 5 stars. Management, however, is atrocious. Would NOT recommend. Especially when they overcharge you by 3x.

The music was good the place was clean. At the time we arrived on a Friday it was not crowded. Around 6pm we got a table and played a few games left around 7:30. The place at this point was start to see more traffi . However the service and pricing was decent. I personally had a good time and see myself returning.However the one thing missing were the bites/appetizers. Maybe I missed something or just didnt ask.

I have never been to the karaoke bar so cant comment on that. But I actually really like the top floor pool bar. They have a decent number of tables available but it gets busy so be prepared to pull up a chair at the bar and wait.Staff are not the most helpful but there is nothing to complain about.

Lively and overpriced pool-hall. The bar tender was good and made really good and strong drinks per request. Place is crowded with nice people. Fun spot to hang out in k-town, NY. Not easy to find from the street.

Food is priced completely out of whack. I understand bar food is expensive but I paid 10$ for a quarter bag of chips.Alright that’s not the important part. They kicked us out early from pool. They lied to us and said we need to leave way before our hour was up, and argued with us about this. Very unprofessional. Very uncourteous to paying customers. For 35$ a pool game totaling to 100$ an hour (with drinks and food for drinks) this place is a scam.If you need to play pool, you can sink some snookers here. But avoid otherwise.

Be wary, you only can play for one hour on a Friday night. Despite other tables being empty! At the exact hour mark, they turn off the lights and basically kick you out. Might be better to just hang out at one of the karaoke bars on lower floors.Also a drink mandatory for each guest attending.The pool tables were good quality.

You know why there are tables available here? Because they charge $52 for one table for one hour. Yes, the number 5 followed by the number 2. For one hour. For one person.

Bad customer service. We had to get up and ask for our food and drinks. Not attentive or apologetic. Did not come to the table one time after we sat ourselves. Would not recommend this place at all.

This is the most disrespectful place I have experienced in my time here in NYC. If I could give it zero stars I would.First off the place is nice. There are many pool tables and a lot of space, however the service is very bad.After purchasing my pool table ($30/hr) my friends and I waited over 30mins to find the waiter to order drinks. During this time, I was standing at a table near my pool table looking at the menu. I picked up my phone to look at something and sat the menus on the table. The waiter came over and took the menus without asking me for my order. I had to stop him to let him know I’m wanted to place an order. After stopping him, he put his finger up and said he will be back to take my order. I waited another 15-20mins for him to come back to take my order.After experiencing this, I decided to be very observant. I noticed that the waiter was very attentive to people who was non-Black. Most of the customers were white or Asian.On top of the bad service, they automatically charger 18% gratuity.If you are a person of color I would not recommend this place nor will I ever go back!

My friends and I were looking for a nice place to play pool after a while.Found ourselves in Space Billiards. First of the service is horrible.My friend ordered some food and they made him leave tips right away, I ordered a margarita that cost $15, for some unknown reason they charged $20. I mean I understand that pool place is not the place you demand excellent service, but in Manhattan you can’t afford bad service.Definitely NOT coming back.

After final exam we need to throw out our stress .. friend and me decided to stop at space .. great pool place and karaoke. 12 floor for pool!!.11 floor for karaoke place .. what a such convinced.. love their spicy margarita .The price acceptable $30hr. In week day .After pool we went to karaoke.. ( don’t forget to bring your receipt from 12th floor to get 10%).

The place where 1 hour equals 50 minutes...Got there with a friend and started playing. They got one of our drinks wrong and it felt like forever until they sorted this out. Then, after 40 minutes one of the waiters said we have 10 more minutes left and when we said we got 20 minutes he mumbled something and left. Then, after ten minutes, they closed the lights for the table and it was already promised to the next group so there is nothing they can do about it. Never going back.

Very disappointed. Went online and saw they closed at 5:00am. Got there at 3:25 and was told they closed at 4:00, by elevator attendant and security. No problem, still shoulda got 30 minutes on a table, then told by bartender they are closing at 3:30 cause it’s slow. Their was about 20 people still in the location and hanging out. We left before they made us and it was around 3:50am. Could have easily got a few racks in and a few cocktails. Probably won’t go back.

Pretty nice place in K town. Did not have to worry about waiting, which was great for us. And this was around 10 pm which worked in our favour! The bartenders and other staff are also very very nice!

Came here twice. Sweet potato fries is always cold and soggy. Not worth the $15!! Good decor. And no they dont show main card UFC, only the free prelim streams. Feeling duped.

Awesome spot! Came here after dinner and had a couple of beers and played some billiards! Convenient that they’re open late and have a variety of food and drinks! They even serve popcorn for you to nibble on as you play! There are bells on the wall of you need a server at your attention, tvs broadcasting the big game, and a variety of music playing! The atmosphere here is great and my attendats, Rolando and Andrea were very kind and always around in case I needed anything. They even offered me free popcorn on the house

This place was amazing. They took precautions to protect against covid. The place looks very hip, great music, staff and a stocked bar. Definitely recommend.

I use to frequent this place pre-pandemic. Went today and was very disappointed with the service. Had the bartender and manager Gun who provided very poor customer service with a condescending nonchalant attitude. Refused to accommodate small things like a 3rd song on the playlist even though we were the only patrons present. Also refused to allow us to play darts claiming it wasn’t allowed on a weekday. Not sure if the establishment has gone down the tubes or if “Gun” was the problem.

Such a great experience. Went after work with co workers and was a great experience. Good drinks and fun vibes! Plus drinks were good and decently priced especially for nyc!

I mean the place was nice enough, but its a decent amount of money per hour ($25 when I went) and it was super loud. I get thats some peoples cup of tea, but not typically an environment I want to play a game like pool that requires concentration. Probably great for a younger crowd who want something to do while drinking, and larger groups wouldnt be too bad for the price per hour.

We had a blast, great atmosphere for adults ,music was great and waiters and manager were very friendly. The food was also great. Id recommend this place to anyone looking for a great night out without the drama.

Awesome pool spot in Manhattan for a group billiards session. Pretty lowkey, it wasnt too busy when my group went and we had no problems getting a table. Cocktails were pretty good (and note that they do check IDs before you enter). It was also nice having the tvs with the game on. All around a solid spot for a small group gathering.

Poor service, money hungry. Waited over 15 mins for a drink at the bar, forced to pay 15% gratituty but we had to walk for be bar to order drinks while playing pool; the best the service was when they provided the bill, of course. They were quick to let us know the prices and rates but the service was subpar. Its nice they are open late and the location is convenient.

Had to throw a drink in the bartender face tonight. She told me she hope iDie because i asked for a plastic cup instead of glass. Her personal beliefs on why the world should ban plastic has nothing to do with me 🫠🍾

My family came in town from New Orleans and we visited this bar it was very very nice had a awesome time. We had a private room for karaoke and it was lots of fun and very reasonable. I love this place will visit again.

Nicely maintained, large tables. They now have a liquor license, so you arent stuck with Soju if you want a cocktail. Kind of hard to find, have to get in a not-well-marked elevator to get to the bar from the street. Convenient to Penn Station.

The worst place ive been to periodWent there last sunday for my birthday with 3 other people, played pool less then an hour and 30 minutes, we had 2 beers 4 gin tonic and 2 orange juice. Payed total with pool and everything 260$. Oh and we had fried calamari with salad which we were supposed to eat the salad with fingers, this is what i was told from the waiter there that i never saw him but when he took the money. Crapy service,crapy food, pool tables falling apart, expensive as it gets. Would not recommend anyone to go there anytime soon or ever.

I recently visited Space Bar! The experience was cool the bar is very urban vibe and low key spot in the city! Food was good and staff was accommodating! Definitely will be returning

One star for happy hour prices, pool table prices, and terrific staff.There can be no other stars because 20% gratuity is added and that info is on the receipt, which is given to you AFTER you pay, and not told to you by staff or on signage anywhere in the place.My friend and I paid cash on what we thought was a $108.26 bill, to which we added $30. The joke was on us, because $108.26 included 20% for the tip.The is nearly fraudulent conduct that is also done at Mintons Playhouse.Go somewhere else to play pool. The other venues at 34 W. 32nd Street in the city are likely doing the same. Go elsewhere.
