Nice bar with great ambience and options for both indoor and outdoor seating. i came here once during and once after happy hour and either way, prices were pretty standard / affordable.i definitely recommend the espresso martini and aperol spritz cocktails. the espresso martini was bold and strong and tasted great, and the aperol spritz was light and incredibly refreshing.i also tried their cucumber gin which was refreshing too but i didnt like it as much, and a red wine happy hour special.

Sutton Bar Room, formerly known as Sin Bin, is a gem in the heart of the neighborhood, radiating a welcoming vibe that resonates with its patrons.Since its inception, and especially after Nick took over, this pub has transformed into a local favorite.I have been coming to this pub with friends, family, or, most commonly, coworkers.Every visit to Sutton Bar Room feels like coming home. The familiar, cozy atmosphere paired with exceptional staff hard to find elsewhere.In conclusion, Sutton Bar Room isnt just a bar; its a home where memories are made, be they after 1 drink or 10. Its the kind of place you keep returning to... I still do even after moving out of the neighborhood a few year ago.

The price is pretty cheap, and the bartender himself is nice.The old fashioned here is good, but I would recommend the draft beers and IPA here, which is special and refreshing.However, there are too many people in the bar with only one person to handle all of the works, which makes it rather difficult to order drinks and makes us a little lost (end of October)Still a recommended bar here at midtown east!

This is hands down the BEST bar in the area for young people. The after work drink culture is crazy active here. I’ve seen book clubs, birthdays, trivia night teams, regulars, and irregulars alike meet random strangers here every time I visit. Feels like a real community and a great vibe. Plus the drinks are CHEAP and the happy hour goes late.

The Sutton Bar has a cozy interior, but seating is limited, and the space feels a bit cramped. There’s some outdoor seating on the street, but it’s not the most comfortable setup. They have a TV for streaming, but there’s only one, and the view is quite limited, so it’s not ideal if youre hoping to catch a game. The drinks are decent, but nothing particularly special. Overall, it’s an okay spot, but there are a few things that could be improved to make the experience more enjoyable

A true local bar kinda spot. Lots of regulars are here for a reason. Super friendly bartenders, great drinks, and the prices / happy hour / specials are so much better than anything else in the area. A gem in this neighborhood!

This place was pretty chill. Small but not too crowded on a Tuesday, prices were fine, service was friendly. Id come back any time Im in the neighborhood.

Stopped in on a whim and so glad we did! Dark and cozy, and the drinks were delicious. The bartender with the long red hair and glasses was wonderful and even turned on the AC for me as I was having a hot flash, which was much appreciated. The decor is unique and warranted photos. Would love to return next time we are in NYC.

Was in here a few days ago and cant get over how great the bartender was - a blonde woman named Maeve. Seriously she made the night for me and my friends!

I live right across the street for 2yrs..always wondered why it was so full & lively. So I went to check it out on 8/29.. I was impress...my waiter was so nice he made me a special concoction when I told I’m Jamaican and I like sweet alcohol lol. I will be a regular. Cheap food & good liquor 👏🏽👏🏽 🇯🇲🇯🇲

Best bar in Sutton Place. We’ve been regulars here for about two years and have watched the place open and grow. They treat everyone with respect and have created an exceptional environment for newcomers and regulars. We visit about once a week. Highly recommended.

Great place to have a drink. The vibe is just right. The ambience is nice. They play great music. The bartenders are top notch. I would definitely recommend it. They dont have food but you could order in food here or you could have chips if you get the munchies:)

Great little bar that has a small but solid selection of beers on tap. I went on a Monday so it was nice and quiet with plenty of seats at the bar. I will happily go back if I am in that area with time to kill again.

Only bar in sutton place that I’ll drink at. Cool vibe, Comfortable and the staff and owner go out of their way to make sure you have a great night. I highly recommend it.

Local pub that pre-pandemic didnt have food, but now have hotdogs and chili dogs in toasty buns! Small cheap food menu, plus good beer and wine selection (yeah draft beer!). At least 3 and sometimes 5 TVs outside for sports. Plexi dividers between tables, QR code menus. Friendly guys who serve (masked). Great hang for sports, even if you are sitting in the middle of 1st Ave.

I planned an engagement party at Sutton Bar Room. The staff was beyond helpful and went above and beyond to make sure our event was fantastic. Nicholas, the bar manager, was responsive and considerate. Their rate for an open bar is far more reasonable than other options and their service is top notch. I highly recommend Sutton Bar Room for your next event!

No complaints about this small neighborhood bar with tons of charm. Sit in the big open-front (weather permitting) seating area, or the cozy tables at the back. Just noisy enough to feel lively, but not to stifle conversation. Nice cocktail selection, and decent beers. Trivia night, plus they let you get food deliveries as theres no kitchen on premises.

I went here for a happy hour with coworkers. Im not a drinker by any means but the price of the drinks (4 dollars for beer ten for mixed drinks) made it tolerable. Be warned it gets super crowded on Fridays, there was barely enough room to turn around. Its also pretty far from the near train which is a factor if its cold and you dont feel like taking an Uber.

Had a few happy hour dranks here. I like it because its not crowded, they have a diverse drink selection and the staff is quite friendly. Oh, Tuesday nights are ladies night ... 50% of everything. Apparently, they are going to have food here as of early November 2016

LOVE this place! It just opened. Its not too crowded, and has a nice open air layout towards the front. All night happy hour on Mondays, and 50% all drinks for ladies on Tuesdays!

Worst bar around. I asked the Bartender for a pinot noir and he looked at me like I was speaking another language. My other friends ordered mixed drinks which were horrible and hardly had any alcohol. Hopefully it will only last a month and be replaced with a better, more competent establishment.

This is the worst bar Ive been in New York City. Havent had a worst time having a drink. The bartender, shes so mean and rude. She throw customers drinks if they go to the bathroom for 2 minutes. Thats insane, as if you werent paying for that!

The only reason this is 4/5 stars is because there is no food. Great bar, great to unwind and quiet when you want it to be. Easily can set up a spot in the back and have a few beers to unwind after work or whatever without worrying about your wallet being empty afterwards. The bartender is great friendly enough but not overly talkative. Solid bar for a wednesday/thursday

The place is small but cozy, it gets quite crowded after 11:30pm. I went before so it was perfect to get a good spot and enjoy some beers. The staff was attentive and the Uber we ordered picked us up right in front of the door.
