A spacious cafe with overpriced pastries in my POV (and prices are only indicated for beverages). There is table seating in the back and counter seating at the front. The service was prompt. My cappuccino foam was not very foamy and a croissant was below what I expected for the price.

As far as coffee goes, I drink pour over or drip with nothing added, so I can’t review on all the flavored versions of Expressos. The coffee here is outstanding. It has the best flavor of any place I’ve been in NY, so far. Although I didn’t get it today, I do like they have the pour over option, as well.

Went here at 3pm and the service was not pleasant at all. From the moment walking in - barista was closing up shop an hour early (already had lights dimmed and trash out), told us we had to get our coffee to go, got frustrated when he made our drink hot when we asked for ice and said it was our fault, poured a hot americano over a few ice cubes and called it good. For such an expensive cup of coffee (lukewarm iced americano anyone?) didn’t expect to leave wishing I never walked in…: oh well.

The service. I get that its supposed to appear like a hip indie coffee joint but one employee was so incredibly rude every time I was there. Not just to me but others. She made a ton of faces while people ordered like she legitimately couldnt stand talking to a single person and heaven forbid if you have to repeat yourself. The food was fine, coffee was good and the rest of the staff was fine but the one girl I saw there was so rude that it ruined my entire experience of this place and I honestly wouldnt recommend it just based on that. You dont need to be excited, you just dont need to be rude to everybody and have an attitude the whole time. Thats a low bar and she missed it.

I got their iced Americano and the espresso was bold and strong which I liked, especially since it balances well with some milk. The pastries looked delicious and the smell of their cookies inside their modern/eclectic vibe was a plus. They get their pastries from bakehouse. Iced Latte is good too.

Really hard to give 4 stars, considering the coffee is not that special nor as hot as it needs to be. The staff are great, welcoming. The chia overnight oats bowl was horrendous, lacked any flavor. Underwhelming but the coffee does the job on the block. The coffee is pricey.

The latte I bought was quite large. We came here at 3:15 pm on a Saturday, expecting it to close at 4 based on the hours on Google. However, they closed early at 3:30. It’s a pretty empty coffee shop with nice vibes. Definitely would try to come back to read or work next time.

Cookies were good, but for a place that emphasizes their quality of coffee, it was over extracted and inconsistent. Also seems to be always under staffed with only 1 person working, even on Saturday mornings which leads to grumpy barista and poor service. It’s a ok place if you need a quick caffeine fix, but I’d find other options if you see 2 or more people in line.

Just Amazing!I was told that their cold brew is something unique, when I really tasted it is stood to the expansion and even went further. The place has few seatings available, it is better to come planning to go take out. Do try their cold brew, it would help with the hot summer that New York 🗽 offers.Yah, and it is nicely priced. And the staff is just amazing and so welcoming.I would come again for sure.

I visited to For Five Coffee Times Square yesterday. I love For Five coffee at the Garden City and Manhasset locations, so I was glad to see it at the Time Square. It was 6:20PM and the store closing was 7PM. There was no greeting (understandable if she was tired), and her face was filled with obvious annoyance. I ordered an iced vanilla latte, and she kindly corrected my pronunciation by saying, What?? Vani-lla??” I paid my money having a very unpleasant experience. So uncomfortable to wait my coffee. You must close the store earler if you don’t want to work.

I really enjoy this place. They have great coffee. Prices are a little high, but it is a classy place. I usually go for a more dark and cozy coffee shop but this place is bright and open with tall ceilings and I can appreciate that. They have great matcha drinks and they actually know what they are doing. Ill admit that I barely knew what matcha was, but I asked and they explained it to me fully and without judgement and now I am trying matcha instead of espresso in lots of drinks.

But make no mistake- the staff does NOT want you there, you ARE bothering them, and they do NOT want your money. A spacious coffee shop closely located to Diamond Street in NYC. It has got high ceiling this is why it looks and feels quite spacious, though there is not a myriad of tables - enough for a coffee shop, but not few for such a vast venue. It is quite noisy there because of the coffee being brewed all the time and music playing. As I like use my time reading or watching some video recordings it’s not quite convenient to stay there.Despite the aforementioned, I liked the coffee shop and the food it served. I ordered some regular black tea and a cinnamon pastry which turned out to be delicious! Therefore, I enjoyed the place and can easily recommend it if you are around and eager to sip some coffee or tea or have a bite. By the way, they serve lunch, which means they serve some more substantial than buns and coffee.

Lets talk about coffee here. Not like frilly, colorful drinks but real coffee. I am a specialty coffee snob and have even written for specialty coffee websites. I roast my own beans and have been for over a year. That being said, I know what Im looking for in a cup of coffee and a coffee shop. For Five Coffee Shop offers fresh, single origin coffees for Manhattan prices. So far, Ive had their Brazil drip coffee which was surprisingly flavorful and bright. I would have perhaps roasted it a little darker to get more of the burned sugar flavors that Brazilian coffees often offer, but it was delightful. The counter is minimal and clean, with protruding group heads and milk spouts. The utilitarian, yet pleasing setup just spoke to me. I also really liked that the tables in the back had little pillows on the benches because it made it feel more comfortable and welcoming. The baristas were friendly and helpful. One gave me a nutella cookie which was also very good. Im going back again and again.Update: got a real pour over and the barista was sloppy in his technique and then didnt give the carafe. Do they only have one?! I paid $6 for a regular sized cup of coffee and he drank the rest in front of me. Very unprofessional but I may give them another chance.

The coffee here is quite good, but I have some concerns about the pricing. I recently purchased a SMALL iced latte for $8.09, which is $2.50 more expensive than a hot latte of the same size. The staff explained that the price difference is due to the addition of milk in the iced latte, but this reasoning doesnt entirely make sense to me. When factoring in tips, its essentially a $10 latte. Given the high price point, this will likely be my last latte from this place. However, if youre comfortable with the pricing, the quality of the coffee itself is commendable.

Favorite coffee spot in Time Square area - even more so than Cafe Grumpy. The service and staff here are very nice, they have REALLY yummy, big, thicc cookies and make an assortment of matcha based drinks. They also have hazelnut milk I believe which gives your coffee a different taste! Come here multiple times a week 🔥

Pretty limited selection. Coffee was good, however the space isnt set up the best. Its not a very good place to just sit and enjoy your coffee or chat, the high ceilings triply amplify any noise making it really annoying to hold a conversation. Id get coffee to go.

Gréât barista. Gréât coffee. Gréât space to have convos and quick meetings. Although some guy comes in and has his zoom on high volume without a head set at the table next to ours. Welcome to NYC!!

As an aussie tourist walking to Times Square this place caught my eye. I could see the brew bar and that was enough of an invite. We were greeted by Joseph and Jose who were super friendly. If you order a latte to dine in you get to roll a dice for your latte art too. My fiance ordered the hot chocolate and it was made with melted Gotham Ganche - great in a mocha. High ceilings and relaxed ambience. A great spot.

Good coffee, cozy and warm place. A bit small so there is a limited seating space, but very good in general.

Solid place for an espresso drink. Wish they had more of a selection for food. Always enjoy their flat whites and matcha lattes, and you can expect to pick up your ritual order without any delay.

Smooth, flavorful cold brew and well-made lattes. The Duchess cookies they stock go very well with the coffee.
