Note: this is a Starbucks licensed by the Marriott hotels so prices are about 30% HIGHER THAN NORMAL PRICES! It is basically paying airport/hotel prices even though it’s a street level Starbucks.

This place is day time robbery when they charge $11 for a $6 drink. Then they run out of brown sugar 7am. What kinda mgmt runs this spot. And the employees, feel like u bothering them with a drink order, none of them wanna work, this is all 7 in the morning. Avoid this spot.

I loved this Starbucks so much! My Frappuccino (that was caramel) was almost straight milk. I kept finding small little black balls in my drink to(they weren’t cleaning things) We ordered a Lavender Oat Milk LATTE. We got matcha once,twice,then got the right drink but there was no coffee in it. Then we finally got what we had ordered originally after 45 minutes. The staff was saying the naming very quietly and the ratio was blasting you couldn’t even hear someone 4 feet away from you. Horrible

I don’t recommend this place. Don’t waste your money. I rather put my money in trash. The attendant act like she shouldn’t be working. This Starbucks is on ground floor of Marriott Marquis. Don’t deserve even 1 ⭐️

My experience was actually awful solely because of the PRICES. Less than a month ago, I was NYC and the lavender matcha had just come out. I went to try it and had about $3 in a Starbucks gift card. Once she scanned it, the cashier said “that will be $11”… WHAT? The cashier told me that they up charge because they are located inside of a hotel. Mind you, I got a grande. Without my gift card, I would have paid $14 for a MEDIUM SIZED DRINK. I did indeed change to a non-dairy milk which is an extra charge, but this was more than double what I think I have eveerrr paid at a Starbucks. This wasn’t even the hotel that I had stayed at, but if you do stay here, I understand how convenient this might be, but I urge you to just walk a few minutes outside of your hotel to a Starbucks that doesn’t double the usual prices.

I’m going to say the managers there are disgustingly rude !!! They always have WIERD faces they’re always with an attitude ! It’s insane I can be discriminated against and treated oddly And to think I go here constantly but I’ve had enough every time I walk in it’s always a WIERD vibe and terrible attitudes not sure if it’s because they don’t like me ( for no reason) but what I do know is they always have a gross attitude towards me when I try to order something !!! FIRE EVERYONE EXCEpt the baristas !!! Overly priced and RUDE !!!!!!

Fastest Starbucks in the neighborhood.I almost wasnt going to share the secret; however, since you cant rate on the Starbucks app, I thought these guys deserved the shout-out.In the morning you can order on the app from three blocks away and these guys are ready when you get there. I suspect they own a time machine.In the evening, they are also fast, but a bit more busy. Its full of tourists, theater goers, and Broadway stars grabbing a coffee before a show. Who just held the door for you? Oh no biggie, just one of this years Tony winners!

Normally go to this location because of its convenience and fast service. Order a drink and a loaf through the app, but couldn’t get to the location fast enough. By the time I got to the location the bag that my loaf was wide open (I discarded it).My beverage was lukewarm, I ask the barista if she could reheat my drink. I did not drink the beverage at all ( that would have been unsanitary per my request). The barista was annoyed by my request, I hope she has a better day and attitude.

Worst Starbucks in New York.I was waiting for more than 20 minutes, and they made my drink wrong 3x in a row... Which seemed crazy, since it was a simple, regular Nitro Cold Brew with sweet cream, no modifications.The first time, they gave me a cold brew with foam on top, the second time, they gave me a watery, regular cold brew, and then I was waiting an additional 20 minutes for them to make me the right drink!And after all that wait, they tell me the machine is broken, so I dont even get my drink in the end.Plus they charge twice as much as any other Starbucks.AVOID

Very badWe asked for a hot coffee and an cold one and they served us two cold coffees. We reported the error but the saleswoman made us pay for an additional hot coffee. We waited fifteen minutes to get the paid muffins. They were very rude when we asked where our desserts were. Finally when we finished the coffee, they gave them to us. I will never go there again! Next door to the Edison hotel is a much better little bar

I was there around 9:30am and the only customer there then. I asked for the coffee and blueberry scone, they did not ask if I wanted to warm up my scone like other locations, ok, that is fine, but what happened next upset me. I saw that the keypad set for me to pay had 20% tips added on, since this is the first time ever I saw 20% already added on unless I changed it, I was not sure if it was the case, I did not ask the question as I thought that could not be. I did try to look for up or down arrows to see if I could change it but I could not find it on the key pad and it was not a touch screen for me to pin on, they did not ask me if I needed a receipt and I did not ask for one, so I left wondering….. when I checked later, sure enough, the 20% was added. So, is it the practice in that location that unless you realize it and ask it to be removed or changed, the 20% is automatically on and there is no way you can change it yourself when you don’t want to hold up others.

I asked for a doppio, in venti cup with ice which costs $2.67. Lady charged me for a $4 macchiato and said it was the same thing. If I said macchiato then it wouldve been the same thing nimrod. My drink has no milk or foam. The day before I asked for a venti cup of ice and they said we offer a courtesy size (smallest cup known to man). What type of rundown offhand reject of Starbucks bs shop is this? 🙄 Ruining the good name of the brand. This one star I gave is a courtesy star Coffee lovers, youve been warned.

This is an alright Starbucks. It technically has a second floor but its never open, which knocks it down a star, but there are bathrooms and plenty of outlets that do, in fact, work. Nice place!

This location allows you to youse the Starbucks app to pay but will not allow you to redeem rewards. The said “we are run by Marriott “. So all the Starbucks signage is for show. They are not a full fledged Starbucks. Caveat Emptor.

The drink tasted normal and good.The store layout is cramped and confusing. We were told not to use an open door as we were walking through.There is a 50% mark up on prices. The $4 americano cost $6 here.Service is curt and unfocused.Many other Starbucks in the area. Try a different one.

Walked in 15 minutes before closing and the staff acted like we interrupted them. They said only coffee and tea was available. I asked their hours and they said they are not technically closed but they put everything away. Wouldnt have trusted them to make anything after that. The store should be available to all services until the store is closed. Very professional..

Walking in there like walking in a ghetto barely have the things I request . Never have the peppermint syrup when all the Starbucks in the area does . They laugh like it’s funny . Music always loud like it’s always a hangout chill spot . You hear them way into the hotel lounge area and into the garage singing or rapping loudly.

I love Starbucks and this is not the typical service they provide which is why I wanted to rate/review.Horrible service and extremely slow. I waited forever for them to warm up my croissant. Then when I had waited long enough and finally asked about it (it had been sitting in the heater/oven the whole time) they delivered me a burnt croissant. They completely forgot my friends coffee. The baristas were more worried about their own breakfast order from a breakfast truck guy than serving customers. Very inefficient store in a very fast paced area.

The worst Starbucks in New York, the staff is very rude, they even got the order wrong; I had asked for a lukewarm coffee and a croissant and I found myself with 2 coffees: one hot and the other with ice, the croissant burnt. Very rude even when I pointed out the mistake. AVOID THIS STARBUCKS.
