These are my favorite donuts in NYC. Like talk about them while under anesthesia post-surgery, and then wake up from a stupor as it wears off to, yet again, more articulately demand. I want donuts from Super Nice (thanks, Mom!). Great customer service is a bonus!
Pros: One of the best donut bakeries in New York. The taste is very distinctive and always fresh, with multiple flavours. Prices are very acceptable for the outstanding quality. Staff is kind and very friendly. You can also choose from a menu of other fresh bakaries. It deserves that fame for its excellence and quality. Overall rating is 09/10.Cons: The way to make an ord is inconvenient, as there are several stairs with one entrance and exit. Theres no front yard with chairs in front of it for coffee and donuts. The shop is very small. It deserves to be the best. Otherwise cant complain.
Great place to get coffee, donuts, and pastries. My favorites include the cheese Danish, cake donuts (especially the cornbread and the rotating seasonal selection), and yeast donuts (mango chili and passion fruit are standouts). Staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They frequently send out 2 for 1 deals later in the day if you sign up for texts from them. One of my favorite places to get breakfast from.
The seasonal passion fruit donut is my favorite! And the cinnamon sugar is a close second. I also like their dulce de leche lattes. The ordering is a little confusing. You have to order at the window then get down the stairs and go to the side window. It would be a little hard for people with mobility issues like handicap people.
Delicious, fresh baked goods. Solid drip coffee. Love the walk up concept for when Im out with my dog, but an odd set up. Prices and sugar content are high so more of an indulgence than a go-to spot.
Very delicious and aesthetically pleasing donuts and pastries! The outdoor seating area nearby is breathtaking, with good views of live sports.
I’ve been looking for a solid uptown donut place since Dough Loco closed many years ago… I finally found it with Super Nice! The donuts are incredible, the fruit glazed are bright without being too sweet. They also feature top notch coffee roasters and a wide range of other pastries - they are always coming out with inventive flavors and fillings. Just don’t go too late in the day or they might be sold out!
I think the coffee is great, and its close to my apartment so its convenient, BUT for a coffee shop called super nice the employees are generally grumpy and annoyed all the time. So I have taken to ordering online and not having too much interaction with them.. Just an FYI.. A small smile can go a long way- especially for a place called SUPER NICE
Been going here since I moved to the neighborhood about two years ago! The Nola latte is my favorite, easily the best latte in the neighborhood and personally my favorite in Manhattan (though I may be slightly biased due to this location being super close to me!). Love the doughnuts and pastries too, my personal favorite being the chocolate almond croissant! The location makes it a little confusing for first timers with the whole stair system and where you need to wait to get your food/bevs after ordering, but it’s more of an “if you know you know” mentality and you get the hang of it pretty easily! Bonus points for the texts that you receive at the end of the day for deals on the doughnuts and pastries (plus the touch of humor I personally enjoy in the texts that add personality to my favorite coffee shop!). Of all the items I’ve tried the only item I wouldn’t recommend is the rose matcha latte, but that was also once and given everything else I’ve tried has been fantastic (again, the Nola latte is out of this world) I’d say it’s still a fantastic spot to go and that may have been a fluke or just a specific item that they’re still working on. Overall I adore Supernice, sad I’ll be leaving the neighborhood soon mainly because I’ll be leaving this coffee shop behind 🥲💔
The donuts are truly to die for, especially the maple pecan, and their lattes are great. Also, the people that work there a truly so nice, they always give my dog a treat and are so friendly. I tried a vegan donut the other day and you would have never known anything was different, it was amazing!
Guava and cheese danish is hands down the best I’ve ever had. And the yeast donuts are super soft and the flavors are super unique! Will 100% be back!
Dirty Chai just tasted like plain milk. Baguette was doughy. Overpriced. A deli sandwich and coffee taste better, are cheaper, and are (usually) friendlier.
Really great baked goods - donuts, egg sandwiches and biscuits are standouts. Lots of coffee options too. Upper West Side location is a take-out window with pleasant servers. I’m about to try the Chelsea location, which has egg tarts. This is one of the innovative small businesses that gives NYC its character. Highly recommended.
Donuts are fluffy and delicious. The cheddar biscuit is one of the best. Coffee is always a great combination/pairing with the pastries. Would definitely recommend their locations. I tend to go to Upper West location, and basing of my review on that location. But also have gone to East Harlem location and quality persist.
Delicious doughnuts, pastries & coffee. Many doughnut varieties you won’t find anywhere else that are well thought out and delicious. Did I already say delicious? Plus, their texts always make my day.
This place has the bestttt coffee. My friend told me about it and I was blown away. Their donuts are also perfection, I recommend sharing.
Love Supernice! Great drinks and excellent donuts too. Plus the staff is always so friendly.
Forget Paris - Super Nice has officially dethroned the croissant game! These flaky wonders are like edible clouds of happiness. Plus, the lattes are so delectable, iced or hot you can’t go wrong. With service that makes you feel like royalty, this place is a must-visit. Say goodbye to your old favorite coffee shop - Super Nice is the place of champions.
Consistently the best coffee around, aside from the amazing donuts. Staff is A++ too, overall TOP PICK. Keep it up super nice~
Our familys go to for morning (and after school) pastries - their croissants are some of the best in New York, and the savory pastries are delicious. And yes, they have amazing donuts.
Best everything kind of place. They are so good, that I even wait for their advertising texts. Rare find. Great local spot.
Tiny to-go spot for coffee and baked goods. The black iced tea was refreshing.
Cute local spot. Coffee & pastries are diviiine.
Super Nice is overflowing with delicious and unique donuts, inventive savory treats, life-saving coffee, and refreshingly quirky marketing comms. Their cinnamon rolls have become a weekly staple for me, and they do a great job of holding down the fort with solid staples while also introducing new menu items and specials regularly. Definitely swing by for a donut and a drink on your way to Central Park!
The food and coffee is yummy, the people are chill and they often have great deals available! such a great little neighborhood spot
Roll was not fresh although purchased at 10am. That’s not my definition of “Super Nice”. Pretty lame guys…
The best donuts I’ve ever had. Also love the pressed egg sandwich.
The best donuts around. Always stop by when Im walking my dog, since she can order with me without worrying.
Truly the best donuts in NYC, and the vegan donuts are just as good as the regular too!
This place makes my favorite donuts in the city. If you’re going on the weekend, get there a little early cause they sell out of the popular donuts fast. The pistachio croissant is also amazing. And I love the egg and cheese sandwich as well. The rosemary bread is crispy and delicious, but occasionally I get it on a croissant which is also fantastic. You really can’t go wrong at this place.
Feta Spinach Hand Pie and Iced Latte were delicious alongside my Passion Fruit glazed yeast donut
Walk up window for delicious breakfast/lunch/snack treats - served by super nice people. Never disappointed - unless they sell out.
UPDATE: Still great donuts, coffee etc. Hope the owners consider using the former Spices restaurant space (that I hear that they’re taking over to create a another, not-so-needed pizza restaurant) for “Donut Hours” (ie, serving donuts, breakfast sandwiches, etc. and coffee — at least in the mornings?) If the new space has a warm, cozy vibe, I think it would be a VERY popular and welcome addition to the area. There are not many inviting spaces like that in the neighborhood, either to meet someone for coffee or enjoy a book, except for the always-crowded Hungarian Pastry Shop and the newer Qahwah House. There is an adequate number of rather cold, bland, noisy or uncomfortable places (Blue Bottle, Niko, Wu + Nussbaum) or ones with no seating (Oren’s, Afternoon, coffee/food trucks) or those exclusively serving Columbia U students and aren’t open to others in the neighborhood. Do a little market research and find out! (12/2024)Dangerously delicious donuts, great coffee. (the other pastries and breakfast sandwiches also taste as good as they look.) I hope they will consider finding a small space in the general neighborhood with some seating — currently it is only a take-out window. There are multiple vacancies nearby such as the nearby space on Amsterdam formerly occupied by La Piccola Cucina. That would be perfect!
I love coming to the 108th st location. Their donuts and pastries are delicious. They have great croissants! Their service is consistent and kind. Great location.
I’ve never had a bad experience only extraordinary! Especially this am when I got an unexpectedly WARM donut!
I love this place been a regular since summer, i love their matcha, stopped today for a coffee and was very disappointed, cup is half full with coffee that tastes like milk for over $4
Good coffee, great pastries, the donuts are amazing, the cinnamon roll is to die for. Cant go wrong, although theres no seating so be prepared to take it to go! Oh and their breakfast sandwiches are worth every penny!Just here to give an update. This has become a consistent spot for my girlfriend and I. Today got a breakfast sandwich with the perfect egg pop. Couldnt get better than this.
This is a totally great window service coffee and food shop. The vegan donuts are amazing. I do wish they had a couple of vegan savory food options, but no big deal. Always happy to stop in for a coffee and donut!
I know they’re a donut place, but try their cheddar biscuits!!
Donuts are so delicious and the employees are always so nice! So lucky we have this place in the neighborhood
High quality coffee and donuts you will dream about. Also, the owner’s texts are hilarious.
Great donuts and baked goods. Coffee has improved over the last year. Service could definitely use some improvement and be more helpful when ordering. Seems like the staff doesn’t know what’s on the menu so makes for a confusing interaction.
I love donuts. Dont leave a lot of reviews, but felt the need to chime in here. Best donut Ive ever had. Way better than the Dutch Oven from Saskatchewan. Just went with classic glaze. Super fluffy, tender dough. Wont be disappointed.
Great lingonberry and strawberry donuts, guava and cheese pastry, ham and cheese croissant
Super nice comes through again! Recently the new “Everything Bagel bomb” reinvigorated my senses. The only way to describe it is if a Brioche had a baby with an Everything bagel. Soft but with chew and a perfect balance of the cream cheese and the everything bagel flavors! My new favorite. Hope they keep making it!
The mango chili glaze is one of the best donuts in the city
Delicious cinnamon buns and donuts! A cute window-front shop.
Sorry to be a grinch but I had my first Super Nice donut and coffee. $11.43 for both. Super Pricey! Donut was super sugary, but with a wonderful bouncy texture. Cinnamon sugar all sold out but these frosted ones are overly sweet and might induce diabetic coma. Large Americano for $6. Maybe they misunderstood and put in two shots (I usually get one and have rest filled w/ water). But this tasted weak, flavorless, unlike my one shot $3.27 large Americano at Orens. I want to support a new neighborhood place, but the prices are just too high.
Best croissants on the Upper West Side. Excellent coffee. The orders are ready when they say they will be. A local gem.
Scam!! Be aware!! Stay away! Should rename as super rude coffee. Boosted and fake reviews. Came here twice. Staff were extremely rude. One female barista gave me the wrong order and when I told her she refused to make me the correct drink and cursed at me. Would give 0 star if possible.
Been here twice and the staff were rude and short both times. Ordered an ice lavender latte but instead they gave me an ice lavender coffee. Barista just added an espresso shot instead of remaking my drink when I brought it up. If you’re a regular coffee drinker, you know an ice latte and ice coffee with an espresso shot taste extremely different. The syrup wasn’t even mixed and was sitting all at the bottom. I asked for a straw to mix the syrup and the barista said they don’t have straws. Couldn’t even try the syrup. There was no one else behind me in the line- the barrista wasn’t pressured or super busy, not sure why she was so rude to me. I just wanted the right drink that I ordered and paid for.I also walked here on a few other occasions and the place was already closed. They always close 1-2 hours early without notice. Would not recommend this place unless you want your morning ruined by rude staff and unreliable hours.
Super Nice is the best, we love the doughnuts and the staff is always great!
The best donuts known to humankind? Maybe. The best donuts I have ever eaten myself? Definitely.
This small coffee shop is really just a window counter on a side street. I ordered a caramel latte and a cinnamon bun. I got both minutes later. The cinnamon bun was really good: fluffy and perfectly moist. The coffee was good too. They have a bench though nowhere else to sit down.
The best espresso & iced coffee, as well as the most delicious vegan donuts ever! Topped off with amazing customer service! So glad to have them in the neighborhood ☺️
Super Nice has the best donuts and the best marketing emails/texts. I read them every day and they always make me laugh.
Best donuts in NY!!! All the pastries are delicious and the team is down to earth and wiling to make your day one yummy treat at a time.
Visited for the first time. Service is weird. Ordered the chili mango donut, a dirty blonde latte, and a chai latte. Donut was good, but the drinks tasted like water.
This is a great little spot. Expect a line but it moves pretty quick. The plain croissant is on eof the best I have had in the city. The donuts are good but get there early as they run out of the specials.
Best donuts I’ve had in the city and it’s not even close. They are wonderfully substantial and light at the same time. The strawberry tasted like it had been made with real fruit which rules. They’re on another level.
Really yummy donuts, with lots of vegan options. They have some other fresh pastries but they run out early, so make sure you get there in the morning. I had a matcha and a chocolate donut, which had encrusted bits of cocoa— mmmmmm! Note that it’s only a storefront, no seats.
Fantastic drinks and breakfast pastries. Mid sandwich. One bench and blocks from any public seating. Friendly.
Sooooo good! Very friendly staff making fantastic coffee drinks, donuts, and delicious savory am yummies. Glad I have to walk 10 blocks to get there so I can burn off a few of the (worthwhile) calories! Highly recommend!!
The best donuts. cant wait for the pizza
Donuts excellent; drinks meh; odd service. Also, a pickup window being above people’s head height with a bench in front of the window is a strange choice
Came here during my lunch break with my coworker. While we were waiting for her ham and cheese croissant, two other patrons came with their small dog. The person who was handing out the food and drinks opened the window and started kissing the dog and petting it. The dog stayed on the sill for a while, shaking its fur while the three of them were avidly petting it and kissing it.After the patrons left with their dog, my coworker and I approached the person responsible for handing out the food and drinks and told her she should wash her hands after touching the dog and to be considerate of people with allergies (despite the dogs fur already getting everywhere). Who knows where that dog was prior to sitting on that sill and shaking its fur inside the windowsill, where the croissants and pastries were sitting out?She didn’t respond kindly and made no effort to reassure us that our food was prepared in a different location in which the dog fur was unlikely to have contaminated it, nor did she show any interest in washing her hands. While the coffee was good, I will never come back to an establishment where there is little concern for food contamination or triggering people’s allergies.
Love this little donut shop! The blood orange glazed is my favorite. Seriously the softest donuts ever. They have coffee, espresso, pastries, and breakfast sandwiches too.
Pleased to find a west side location for this great little business. Does what it says - super nice coffee and baked goods. I ordered the drip coffee and maple pecan donut - both excellent.
The service was quick and friendly, allowing me to swiftly order my favorites and head out to enjoy them in the nearby park.To start, I indulged in a freshly baked croissant. Its golden, flaky exterior immediately caught my attention, and with one bite, I was transported to a French bakery. The croissant was perfectly buttery and had a satisfyingly crisp texture. Each layer was expertly crafted, creating a delicate balance between lightness and richness. It was the ideal accompaniment to my coffee shop experience.Next, I sampled the spinach and feta pie, and it did not disappoint. The pies golden crust enveloped a flavorful combination of spinach and creamy feta cheese. The filling was expertly seasoned, striking a perfect harmony between savory and tangy notes. It was a wholesome and satisfying option, making it a great choice for a quick lunch or a snack on the go.To quench my thirst on a warm day, I ordered a regular iced coffee. The baristas at the coffee shop certainly knew their craft, as the coffee was expertly brewed and perfectly chilled. It provided a refreshing boost of energy and complemented the flavors of the pastries impeccably. Sipping my iced coffee while sitting in the pleasant park nearby added an extra touch of relaxation to the whole experience. The combination of great food, good company, and a tranquil environment made for a truly delightful moment. Its moments like these that remind me of the joy of slowing down and savoring lifes simple pleasures.Overall, my experience at this local coffee shop was nothing short of delightful. From the quick and friendly service to the delectable pastries and refreshing iced coffee, everything was top-notch. If you find yourself in the neighborhood, I highly recommend visiting this coffee shop. Its the perfect spot to grab a croissant, a spinach and feta pie, and a regular iced coffee, and enjoy them while basking in the beauty of the nearby park.
Got the cheese Danish and it was top notch. Note this is a takeaway window.
Such a great find! Such friendly staff, great coffee and delicious food
Love this place! Great coffee and great cafe food options! Doughnuts are my favorite!
This is definitely a go to breakfast spot! They have such great quality food and amazing coffee. I order delivery from them at least once a week! Their donuts are top notch!!!
The bacon egg and cheese hand pie was a dream after riding my bike on a cool early fall morning. I wanna come back and try more!
A very sweet (and, savory!) neighborhood spot. Worth finding it and enjoying all their goods!!
Honestly, best espresso in the city and their donuts are top notch with exciting flavor options.
Probably the best donuts I’ve had in NYC. Annoyed I know this place exists, because now I’ll have to go back!
Delicious baked good great beverages friendly staff - can pick up when with dog - Such a great asset in our neighborhood!
Great donuts -- and the guava and cheese danish I had today was awesome :)
Come here every few weeks for a coffee and breakfast sandwich. Coffees are decent, breakfast sandwiches reliably take 15-20 minutes to be prepared but are usually pretty tasty. Today, waited about 25 minutes for my sandwich and coffee, and came home to find my biscuit sandwich overcooked and much darker than normal (see pic compared to other pictures of biscuits). Would love if the sandwiches were more consistent!
Fine latte and donut, but the girl working the counter was rude to the point of being laughable. Truly some of the rudest service I’ve encountered in New York. They were out of nearly everything and made no indication of it. Won’t be returning—plenty of places with equal or better food and service that’s not totally miserable. It’s too bad, because I was really looking forward to coming here
Definitely give this spot a try! Their donuts are terrific. Just note that this is a pickup window spot. There is a only a small bench to perch on.
Good coffee and donut. No place to set
We visit here weekly because they’re a super cute small business with honestly some of the best donuts in the city. Good coffee, daily special pastries, and donuts in lots of different flavors (super fluffy and clearly not like chain brands). They also have super funny emails and texts for upcoming specials etc, a great little spot in the neighborhood!
Amazing coffee with morning pastries. Theyre only across the street so were very excited to come back and try the rest of the menu!
Great coffee and amazing donuts!
I stumbled across this gem one morning. Best coffee I’ve had in a long time, and a delicious egg and cheese. So happy I found this place!
The best donuts and pastries in all of NYC. A must visit!
I love this spot! 10/10 messages if you sign up for the text line.
Best ice latte and donuts in the neighborhood, if not the entire New York City!
Meant to take a photo of the doughnut before I bit into it, but they’re just too good. The best flavor and perfect amount of chew. Not sickeningly sweet. 🤩 The lattes and drip coffee are also 👌. We’ve had nothing but pleasant service here. For those complaining about a line, order in advance. Super easy.
BEST CHAI EVER! They also have one of the tastiest almond croissants and passion fruit donuts. 😋
One of the worlds stand-out coffee windows.Correction: you stand out, the shop is the window.Correction: the window is a pane missing from the shop: you stand and order donutsCorrection: ...
Favorite donuts in the city
Best donuts in the city!
Most amazing donuts in nyc
OMG! This place has the best egg on baguette I have had in a while. I make my own because of it. The donuts are delicious as well. It my first time but definitely not my last.
Donuts and coffee were good! BEC was terrible 😭🙏
Great Donuts! Absolutely not a scam 😉!
Okay, I typically really enjoy this place despite the high prices, but today, I tried the chai latte for the first time and it was not good. The drink itself was pinkish in color, which typically may not impacted taste, but the flavor is oddly sour - I usually drink my drinks too quickly, but this one, I had to take small sips in my attempts to consume it. I did not get very far. And so it sat once I got home. 2 hours later, this is what is left. The “chai” portion has separated from the water, which is odd to me because I thought this was a latte (aka milk). I don’t have photos, but throughout the process, I did notice it looked like it was curdling before it settled. Anyway, I really do like this shop and want them to do well, so if this is not a one off situation, I hope they figure out how to their chai differently.UPDATE: I ended up returning to the shop to express my concern and they graciously offered a refund or another drink in replacement, which I accepted. So I do want to acknowledge this and give them credit for their customer service, which has always been good and continues to remain strong.
The little staircase was hard to maneuver. When one person is ordering and another is waiting for their coffee they will have to shimmy past each other. Additionally, the coffee, although good, was so hot I couldnt walk with it. When I dropped a little on my hand it burned mebadly.
Everything is delicious. The donuts are fluffy and the glaze flavors smash. The texts are delightfully weird and get you discounted stuff.
Long wait but best espresso in the neighborhood and the guava danish is 10/10
Suuuuch good donuts. We got the loganberry and the strawberry cream ones. The dough of the donut was phenomenal. It tastes like a homemade donut made with love. Will be coming back to try the other flavors.
Truly the best donuts. Cool people, too. So happy this spot is in the neighborhood!
A very lovely takeout counter on the UWS. Ive gone here several times and everything is always really good.I enjoy their cinnamon rolls which are quite large, have a very good rise, and are not too sweet. The cinnamon rolls have a nice caramelization that happens on the bottoms and the bread itself is quite nice.I have had their lingonberry donut in the past, with skillfully made dough and the frosting very tasty and tart. The cappuccino has also been good, with a great foam.its also very dog friendly. They often open the door to greet my dog and give her a treat, making this a great spot for the whole family!
Best donuts!
Amazing Vegan Donuts
I like that you order from a hatch in the wall. I think that’s cool. I like that Super Nice is a cool, hip, modern café-bakery that apparently unlike everybody else is disenthralled with Lower Manhattan and isn’t afraid to open locations in Upper Manhattan. On that note, be sure to check out their East Harlem location which to me is the coolest one. I dislike that everything is overpriced and that you apparently can’t get a specialty donut for under $4 anymore. When did that happen? If you’re looking for another equally cool spot in this area head over to Afternoon UWS which just opened nearby.
The doughnut wasnt what Im used to, but its OK if youre not a picky person. The barista at the window wasnt pleasant. It was my first time and didnt know the process ; his attitude towards me was that of annoyed because I didnt know I had to use the window and WAIT until he gave out all his orders, THEN ask me how ca he help. I should have to support a business with my money if Im not going to get some respect.
These donuts though 😋 😍
Insane donuts, so fresh and delicious!
Best coffees I had in my week in NYC!
Some of the best coffee in Harlem, cortado and cappuccino were both excellent as were the donuts
Love there Cheddar Biscuits and there Donuts and the Coffee as well... Love Love 😍😍
The return of a good, flaky croissant to the neighborhood!!Also, great donuts and cinnamon rolls
Delicious donuts! The cheddar biscuit is a must-try as well. The person serving us was so kind and I wish I would have visited sooner. It’s worth the trip.
Get ready for the best donut youve ever had. Its so good they dont need a sign or a menu or chairs or anything. It is next to the basketball court if for some reason there is not a line of people there.
Been here twice - both times, there were only 3-4 people in front of us and we somehow waited 15-20 minutes for coffee. They take one order every 5 or so minutes. Not sure what the hold up is but there is no way they are short staffed every day… that said, coffee and pastries are good
Cappuccino with two shots tasted like warm milk. At $5 per cup it was a waste to have to literally throw it away it was so weak. Redeemed ourselves at a Starbucks. Its too bad we wouldve like to support this business.Heard from store which tried to clarify price however with oat milk it was $5. At any rate by the time we figured out the taste we were already on our morning stroll. Ty foe the offer to remake the drink.
DELICIOUS vegan doughnuts. Good coffee too!
Sometimes it seems like otherwise satisfied customers come here to leave negative reviews based on an isolated, uncharacteristic incident but ANYWAY… i ride hard for this spot, such a welcome addition to the neighborhood. my sweet tooth runs the show so i can’t speak for the sandwiches but i can say, without hesitation, that the doughnuts are the absolute best i have ever had and paired with an excellent iced coffee?????? not just super nice—i am in heaven!!!
So i really wish i could give a 5 star rating because i really like the place and the staff, but some of the items they serve are really lacking.Idk what the problem is and why it happens, but the beautiful looking fluffy donuts are INCREDIBLY greasy. Maybe the oil is too cold and it soaking it up while frying? Maybe they aren’t letting the grease drip off after frying? Not sure what’s causing, it but its definitely a donut killer.Hoping you guys can improve on this so i can switch to a 5 star, everything else including the coffee is great!!Edit-Added a photo to show the donut i got this morning and didn’t eat due to the grease. This is how the bag looked about 10 hours later. Really gross tbh.
The cappuccino is beyond horrible, their drink pickup is from a window high up
The softest, most balanced, tastiest donut ever. Not too sweet, nice yeasty flavor, melt-in-your-mouth perfection.
This is the best bacon, egg and cheese sandwich I have ever had. Nothing else comes close, the quality ingredients, soft roll, fluffy and creamy scramble. Perfect. Good coffee too.
Best vegan donuts on the upper west side! They don’t always have them, and you have to ask for them - they’re not on the menu, officially.
Ordered a, Americano with ice brought it to me hot, so, when the girl brought it back cold it looked like tea, I usually just get an espresso shot, I definitely will stick to the shot and when I do have a taste for an Americano Ill just go to Starbucks😊
Cheddar biscuits are amazing as are the donuts. Everything made fresh. Really good quality bakery!
My choc almond croissant was great and my coffee was fantastic! My coffee was strong with hints of fruitiness that I loved, yet smooth with no bitterness, and the milk wasnt all boiled and overheated and horrible like some places do. Really good job! Thank you!
Love this spot!
LOVE the croissants here, such a gem for the UWS
Best vegan donuts on the UWS!! Always looking forward to their vegan treats and coffee too. Super nice staff, especially James. And how can I forget Dan’s funny emails. You won’t regret subscribing. My only complaint is the lack of small takeout boxes. As someone who buys doughnuts for friends & family, I would prefer if they had smaller or individual boxes!
Dont understand why this place is rated so high. Came because of all the good reviews but this place is nothing special. Pastries are stale, coffee is mediocre, service is disappointing. Nowhere to sit, staff are disrespectful, service is slow, pastries are overpriced for their small size and bland taste.
I don’t care how good this place is, it’s glacial. I don’t even need them to be fast. I just hate that they’re aggressively slow. It feels like they’re testing how bad you want a donut
Server was rude. Not ‘Super Nice’, in my view.
Amazing coffee and pastries. Out of this world donuts in particular. A little slow, but worth the wait.
Whoever the woman is that is taking calls at this establishment today (12/11/22) at 2:00pm needs a serious behavior adjustment. You do not speak to ANYONE like that, customer or not especially when they are in no way being rude to you.It was a small issue that could have been resolved with a simple conversation but instead you decided to be rude, hostile, and hung up on us mid-conversation with a “nah, bye.” What kind of people is this place hiring?YOU made the mistake. We made an Uber Eats order, apparently none of our items were available. We called to check and see what happened, you claim you called us a bunch but we do not have a single missed call so what’s the truth?Instead of saying “deal with Uber Eats” and hanging up the phone, how about confirming the number you called? Recommending an alternative solution, or just being polite even if you can’t deal with the problem?Seriously, do some self-reflection on your attitude and the way you treat people. There was no need for that when a simple “I apologize that this happened, you should contact Uber Eats to receive assistance.” would have been more than enough.Happy holidays to everyone except this woman, and if you’re going to get ANYTHING from this place, make sure it’s on a day where she isn’t working.
Cute outpost. Friendly staff. *5 STARS goes to the Ham Sandwich (see menu, the one with pretzel roll), which I modified -- making it on croissant and heating up. It seemed to come with a free (?) egg too!
Super Nice? More like absolutely delightful! The vegan donuts are so good. Be sure to go early in the day if you can. They are popular and do sell out.
Delicious pastries and the staff is super nice :) the cinnamon sugar donut was so light and fluffy highly recommend!
Today was my first time coming to Super Nice Coffee and Bakery. It is also my last time. While the half hour wait in the cold was unpleasant, I think it was the waiting another 15 minutes in the cold for a latte stretched the limits of my patience. Watching the person who was 2-3 spots behind me get served their coffee drink first was demoralizing, but it was the barista holding back my drink to not just ask my name but remind me that patience is a virtue after I had the audacity to knock on her window that made me come to my senses. I had just spent a total if 45 minutes in the cold, paid $27 for 3 donuts, a cinnamon roll, and a latte, and was then reprimanded by a very inefficient barista- this is no way to start a Saturday morning. This is no way to start any morning. And as I walked away, cursing and and staring at the line that was now stretched down the block, I had to wonder who in their right mind would ever be a repeat customer. I think that was what contributed to the slow-moving line. Nobody who actually made it up to the window to order had ever been there before, so they were unfamiliar with the menu and no clue as to what they serve. As for the food- the donuts are good. Chewy and not too sweet. The latte was fine although no sugar was offered or visibly available- and I certainly wasnt going to ask the most unpleasant barista in new york for any kind of sweetness. Oh, and did I mention that the only way to access said barista to retrieve your drink is to stand in a wobbly bench placed askew under that window. This is a lawsuit waiting to happen, and I hope when it does that they take Super Nice for every cruller theyre worth.
Such a cute, delicious, new addition to the neighborhood. Great drip and excellent breakfast sandwich on homemade biscuit. Will be back for donuts.
Got an iced coffee from here and it was DELICIOUS! Def coming back here for my coffee needs when I work in the area.
1 of the best cinnamon rolls in the city (must warm it!), great coffee and SUPER NICE staff! I gonna be a regular here
The baked goods are so fresh and tasty, guaranteed good quality croissants!
Great little coffee spot its a to go only place and they have thee best chocolate croissants
Service window only but very delicious doughnuts.
Beat donuts in the UWS and probably in NYC tbh
Best pastries in New York. I love their east side location, but what a treat to be able to walk to them now instead of ordering!
The donuts are incredible, but go early because they sometimes run out!
Uniquely delicious donuts and equally impressive coffee.
Super rude staff. Watered down coffee. Wouldn’t recommend.
Good stuff, inefficient service
Incredible very fun donuts!
Truly wonderful croissant
Overrated and long waits
Best donuts in the city!
BEST DOUGHNUTS EVEEEEEEERRRRRR (drool)
Like the name says.
Good food
The food at this pop-up like shop, is very tasty, especially their cheddar & chive biscuits and spinach hand pie, and their small staff is helpful and hard working. My only complaint is that the website invariably shows the cheddar biscuit as being out of stock at the W. 107th St. location, even when its available
Best donuts on UWS
Best donuts in NY.Having any of their donuts and a coffee for breakfast is a luxury, they serve you quickly and the girl is very nice.Unique flavor and although the place is for pick-up, it has a bench and also right in front there are some steps where you can have the donuts.
Small place but highly recommended. You order and collect from a window. The cinnamon rolls are amazing and so is the pumpink spicy latte (without coffee). There is only one bench outside so I recommend taking the 8/10 minute walk to Central Park.
Very big, chewy, delicious donuts and a coffee shopThere are many kinds, so next time you come, you will find many different ones.I think Ill try the menus too.The menu I tried this time was blood orange donuts andStrawberry croissant (very crispy and full of cream inside)
The donuts were so good we went back for a round.
Best donuts in the world!
