Simple and trendy. Good for the young crowds. The place is tiny but with ample seating space. There are pictures of KPop boy bands along the pillars. Ordered a matcha and cheesecake shaved ice. Its so big. Its good for 3-4 people to share. The staff behind the counter work really fast. Theyre very efficient and they communicate with you about the order. Deff would go here again.

This is my go to bingsoo place in Chinatown, its usually refreshing, and yummy. Not too overwhelming but I guarantee it is not underwhelming. They tend to do little setups at the front for local businesses for any kpop event or kpop idols birthdays. This time we went ~2pm on a Sunday. There was a Namjoon event and it was super cute, got a little purple bracelet for a friends birthday.Service: 8/10, they were very attentive and let us know in advance that the food we ordered will be a little slow because their kitchen is backed up.Food:- Chicken Sandwich : 8/10 - my friend got this and I only tried a bite or two. It was unexpected spicy (???) but it was still pretty good. The sandwich ends up falling apart, because it is a lot but its very filling and i genuinely wish they opened a semicolon near me because Id get it daily.- Bulgogi Sandwich : 9/10 - absolutely love this. I always get this because its so good. The egg and the Bulgogi perfectly compliments each other. the sauce is also really good, but like expected, it will fall apart in your hands.Drinks:- watermelon ice ade - 6/10 - I didnt really like it because it didnt taste like much but it also tasted like something I didnt like. the flavor wasnt really watermelon based.- blue lemon ice ade : 8/10 - I like this, its very good, refreshing, and the lemon taste wasnt overwhelming. I got this twice and would get again.Bingsoo:- Naughty Caramel: 8.5/10 - I usually hop between the matcha, melon, etc other ones but this is my first time trying the naughty caramel one but it mightve jumped up my list. I like the flavor, its not too sweet even tho I expected it to be very sweet being caramel. Didnt expect there to be a chunk of ice in the bingsoo tho, maybe it just wasnt shaved properly.Service: pretty quick, but a lot of people left a mess on the table after they leave, tables fill up pretty fast. you have to grab the first available one you see. napkins and utensils are out so you can grab it yourself. I wiped down the table because someone left stains and a napkin on the table.

The prices are slightly steep but the items here are kind of unique so it’s understandable. I got a red velvet coffee and the art on it was super cute. The coffee is kind of cold when you get it which I don’t mind but keep that in mind if you don’t like cold coffee. I also got the matcha cheesecake bingsu, which was super good, I don’t have anything to say about it except that you should get it. There were only two people working there and I think they definitely needed help because everything too a while to come out and the barista seemed very overworked.

This sweet little cafe is absolutely adorable. I really love their matcha ice-cream which is not super sweet and has a strong flavor. Wonderful dessert spot located in chinatown. They make amazing towering shaved ice deserts. The strawberry shaved ice tasted fresh and sweet and the layers in between were fun and enjoyable. Dont sleep on their drinks as well! Had a chilled matcha esspresso with an adorable image on top. Drink was delicious and the flavour of the matcha mixed with espresso was incredible. Highly reccomend this spot when youre looking for a sweet treat here in chinatown.

Amazing shaved ice and pastries with a great selection of sandwiches, macarons, coffee, lattes and tea. Prices are decent ($10 sandwiches and shaved ice), the right sweetness (lower than American/European pastries), they have a pretty good ambience with nature themes and tons of indoor seating. Would definitely come back.I had the melon shaved ice and it was exquisite. The ice was fluffy and light and the paired really well with the soft melon balls and vanilla ice cream. They also added crispy bits which really given nice textural variation with each spoon which was quite enjoyable.I also had the Earl grey pudding with chocolate on top and that the too was really good.

Seems like this place just runs in the background without minimal staff interference or interest. Understandable it was busy, but still the service was extremely slow. I was at the reception, the staff was working and didnt acknowledge for a while. Someone came to attend after 5 minutes.Got the small melon bingsoo. Wrong flavor but still the overall shaved iced, vanilla and other jelly combo was very basic. There was hardly any pleasing taste to it.

I loved it so much. Its a Korean cafe with very nice specialty coffee (my flat white was delicious) and specializing in bingsu and waffles with toppings. I saw they have melon and watermelon bingsu as season specials, they all look amazing. The interior is cozy, calm and inviting.

Delicious desserts, great ambiance, and loads of comfortable seating 🍨 I shared the iced peach latte (refreshing, bright, yet smooth peach flavor!), iced taro latte (classic, sweet, creamy earthy flavor), and the strawberry-matcha shaved ice (could/should have ordered a large. The acidity of the strawberries balanced beautifully with the bitterness of the match. Neither flavor reach an extreme of acidity, bitterness, of sweetness. Perfection.) with some friends.🍧I’ll be back to try their fun flavors of macarons and the three shaved-ices I can’t shake from my mind.

The Mango Bingsoo was delicious. The dessert is definitely on the sweeter side but if you’ve got a sweet tooth this is the place to be. The shaved ice comes off really easily so it’s a little hard to not make a mess but just be gentle with your spoon. There are little cheesecake bites at the bottom of the dish that pair amazingly with the ice cream up top. They also serve it with a little side of condensed milk.

One of my favorite places in Chinatown to go for drinks. The atmosphere could be a little loud to the sometimes inconsiderate guests, but most of the time it’s still comfortable to sit down and chat. I really enjoy the earl gray latte, black sesame latte, and recently the tiramisu latte was also good. The cream art was also nice and tasty — most of the time I get it with milk tea usually has extremely tasty cream. Taro and matcha are the two I remember trying and they’re extremely tasty. It’s also adorable! They now serve with to go, disposable cups, but I believe they will give reusable if asked!

Perfect on a hot day! my friends and I are all lactose intolerant but this was worth the pain lolpros: good price for the amount, the honeydew tastes so fresh, not too sweet, bingsoo is the perfect fluffiness, takes a while to be ready (to me it is a green flag as it means it requires more time to prepare, therefore more likely to being made on the spot), okay seating available and good AC blasting in the restaurant!cons: perhaps a personal preference but we werent a fan of the cookie roll, the big mochi or the cereal in the bingsoo (corn flakes?). We would have preferred more chewy small mochi pieces instead (the simpler the better!)

She made me and many other customers wait for minutes on end with her back turned to us. She didn’t offer any kind of greeting or smile. I ordered one item and she said a number. That’s it. Not “would you like anything else” or “your total is..” Nope. She just said “870” — apparently that was my total. I went back to the counter and let the kid know. She goes back to her friend-- more giggling, more looks. Bingsoo is basic $ expensive but not bad. Dunno what the problem was-- I guess I am the wrong ethnicity or age or appearance for their store. Its wrong and primitive to treat people that way and made me feel depressed and self-conscious.

In the range of 5 or so years, Ive been here thrice & each time the staff was fine, & the vibe of the place is very Instagrammable (chill yet cutesy). The pricing is a liiittle much, but the quality of items like the waffles & shaved ice is certainly good! It is often busy, so if your party is more than two people youll probably have to wait for there to be enough seats for you all to sit together. One thing that ASTONISHES me about the place & makes me hesitant to return is the bathroom. It is VERY unkempt & oddly not renovated unlike the rest of the cafe.

I’ve been coming to sweet moments for a few years now ever since they turned ownership and rebranded (used to be a cafe bene). They make some of the BEST shaved ice, so many fun flavors. You can get either individual cup sizes or a large one to share. Sadly, I’m not sure where I saved the photos of the larger shaved ice desserts I have tried, but trust me when I say they are beautiful to look at and delicious. I believe the ice part of the shaved ice is ice milk, and it is very soft and fluffy like freshly fallen snow. The flavors are not too in your face and the ice cream and other toppings always pair well. It’s the kind of dessert that is both indulgent, but also light enough that I can keep eating it forever. Their drinks are also pretty good, I have yet to try the waffles and sandwiches but they look and sound good too. Highly recommend, it is also a nice place to sit down and chill with your friends.EDIT: been back a couple times more and have added more pics from most recent visits. Still love this place

Today we came and ordered large melon shaved ice as usual and they were like: we don’t have large but we have small. I asked isn’t that just the same thing and the waiter said: you see this large one takes a lot more stuff than the small one, it’s almost 4 times of the small one. (But the large one is only 2x the price of the small one😃). So you trying to get me less stuff with me paying more money 💰????? That’s just wired why don’t you just raise the price?

This place is definitely one of my favorites and is likely covid or maybe just staffing thats changed. The ambiance continues to be sweet, cozy, whimsical. Sadly though, you order one iced drink, not a big dessert and itll take 15 min or so. This didnt used to be the way. Ive been here several times. It could be they have the same person on register as well as making beverages and people in kitchen for food. Short staffed? It isnt efficient. The space is well lit with lovely hanging lighting, plants in various angles of the space, tucked away as an oasis, with cute latte art, lovely dessert options for summer heat waves. The prices are a bit expensive for coffee thats good but not excellent. This place used to be easily 5 stars as Ive had many meetings and friend hang outs after events since theres something for vegetarians and meat eaters. Who doesnt adore a beautiful dessert? Yet again, lukewarm efficiency and customer service strikes. This is amenable and Im hopeful that it is just covid low customer service support and not a general theme. Come on, be the place we ask want to visit again and again!

I had a cold brew which was just mediocre. I used to work in the same type of job so I understand the stress but these baristas were slow and inattentive. Literally waited over 30min for a simple iced coffee that only needed pre made coffee. And as I was waiting, the reason for the long wait seemed to me that they were more invested in chatting with coworkers (not on shift) than making orders, which shows to me terrible work ethics on top of mediocre coffee that I could get anywhere else. I didnt have high expectations but like if a lot of people were waiting I would expect a sense of urgency in fulfilling orders.
