9th Avenue Saloon

Fun bar with lots of TV screens showing gay content (I meant drag, get your mind out of the gutter!). We didnt stay too long, but the overall vibe was friendly, drinks fairly standard pricing, and the bar staff were attentive. Would definitely come again when were next in NYC.

A fantastic bar and very nice barmen. A bathroom to admire ... If you come to Naples visit the Cactus Club ( cactusnapoli.it ) it has the same atmosphere

My favorite gay bar in NYC.No pretense & everyone is welcome. I only visit NYC every so often, but when I stop into 9th Ave Saloon, it feels like my local, neighborhood bar.Guys are typically very friendly and open to conversing - it feels like I meet a new friend every time I stop in.Oh, and great wallpaper in the bathrooms.

Its one of the friendliest bars Ive been to in Manhattan. Great service. I dont drink alcohol. The bartender respected it. I friink water and non alcoholic beer. Enjoyed the music and meeting friendly people. When I visit NYC next, I will visit again . Clean bathrooms.and lovee the wallpaper.

Went twice on my recent trip. Staff was very nice. Great place to just enjoy a drink. Which is all we need at some point!

Fun place to have a beer and dance on weekends, the restroom is a must.

Bartender today Sunday before the evening shift was excellent and incredible. Please dont get rid of him .He is perfect and great with the customers.

It’s a dive bar. You’re getting exactly what you think when you go to a dive bar only better. Extremely nice staff, very clean and new bathrooms with friendly atmosphere. LGBTQIA+It’s located in the center of Hells Kitchen but it’s not like the major clubs that can get overly crowded. The crowd tends to be regulars and groups of people that come in together just to socialize and have some drinks. Security at the door was very friendly - oh, and they serve popcorn which is always nice. Definitely worth checking out for a more chill night out.

A neighborhood treasure! Im so glad 9th Avenue Saloon reopened and the new owners kept its original old-school NYC appeal. Its my go-to place after seeing a Broadway show.

Great bar! Great crowd! But they’re playing a depressing My 600-lb Life on their 5 massive screens making the whole evening depressing. Why???

This guy had a nasty attitude I don’t approve it. Very racist towards black people. I would not go there and spend my money there. He was the bouncer there. They don’t don’t have to worry about me I’m gay but I definitely won’t be spending my money there.

Nice bar. A lot of locals. Can seem very cliquey at first, so worth a couple of visits.

This is a nice, intimate, unpretentious neighborhood gay bar. Drink prices are fair and the bartenders are friendly.

I went to opening night last night and had the best time. The bartenders were great, the drinks were flowing, the crowd was lively and casual. I loved it and they kept the popcorn machine!

Friendly atmosphere

Its a good bar, the waiters do their job well, but nothing special. I come several days a week and they never offered me popcorn, they only do it for some people, I dont know why there is a difference in treatment. The bathrooms are large and clean.

I wont be back...there is a super rude bartender, he wants to be given I dont know how much of a tip, really rude
