Incredible Drag Brunch. Had a blast - got the bottomless mimosas and Chicken and Waffles. Delicious, fun, and unforgettable memories. Oh, and I cried when the opera singer performed. Absolutely moving.
My group of friends went to brunch on Sat 6/8/24, the 2:30p show seated late, but it really didn’t matter! The process of getting our table was quick, the facilities were all very clean, service was fast and the queens were talented. My friends and I don’t drink and we still had a great time! Lots of non-alcohol options. I paid ~$42 for my full tasty meal and diet cokes. Servers made it super easy to exchange bills for singles to tip 👏🏼 the 👏🏼 queens 👏🏼
This is the place for the most fun, energetic, hilarious drag brunches youll experience. The unlimited drinks are tasty and the food is delicious, but the entertainment is top notch. The queens are so talented and mix together their show that compliments one another. They create their own tracks to sing along to that are funny and cultural, include the crowd in games and banter, and have the most amazing ending to a show Ive ever seen. I laughed and cried and laughed some more. Go here, you wont regret it.
Decided to have a Drag Brunch birthday party for my partner Jorge and his best friend Jenny. Honestly, the entire party of all 17 of us had such a fantastic time! Great show from Zeta Jones and Jasmine Rice!!! These ladies were fabulous! The food was great…I had burger and my partner has chicken and waffles.I ended up having such a great time until waiting until Monday to propose to my partner I did it then and there with the queens and a room full of love and fun. It was perfect. The entire experience was superb and we can’t wait to come back…. Anthony & Jorge
I enjoyed the vibe shortly after entering and throughout my experience at The Spot. The bartenders were friendly and provided fast service. The music was played at a reasonable tone that allowed for interaction with members of your party.
Very good place. I love the atmosphere and the drinks 🍸 😍
The whole place is fantastic! Went here the first time for Brunch and it was soooo much fun! Service was 100% and the Drag shows are incredibly hilarious! We will be returning for sure! To see another great performance.
Came here for a quick cocktail, ended up staying for 2 because they were delicious. The bartender David was awesome, and the drag queens were funny and talented. Will be back!
I recently visited The Spot for their happy hour and was fortunate enough to have an incredible experience, largely thanks to the exceptional service provided by Michael. From the moment I walked in, it was evident that his commitment to providing top-notch service is what set this bar apart. Michaels attentiveness and friendly demeanor truly stood out. Despite the bustling atmosphere of the bar, he skillfully managed to cater to every customers needs, ensuring that each guest felt valued and attended to. His ability to balance efficiency with genuine friendliness is truly a rare find in Hells Kitchen anymore. Its refreshing to encounter someone who goes above and beyond to make guests feel comfortable and appreciated. I believe that such exceptional service deserves recognition, which is why Im taking the time to write this review. Michaels presence at The Spot enhanced my experience. I eagerly look forward to returning soon.If youre seeking a memorable experience marked by outstanding service, I wholeheartedly recommend visiting The Spot and allowing Michael to elevate your visit, just as he did for mine.
THIS PLACE IS INCREDIBLE. I celebrated my 40th birthday here with a private party in the back of the bar, and I am completely blown away by the attention to detail and the incredible service this bar provided.Ted was incredibly flexible and responsive while working with my wife to pull this party off. Every question she had, he was on top of it immediately. Cant thank him enough for helping her organize such a great party!Marc and Joao were our servers, and I LITERALLY never had to ask for a drink. Its like they had spidy-sense or something, because just when I needed another one (and even when I didnt) they were right there. They were incredibly kind and gracious to every single guest, and people were RAVING about them. Thank you both so much for making the night so special! The DJ was so on point, I dont even have words to describe. The music was absolutely incredible, and no one wanted to stop dancing for a second. They played our requests and worked in music that I had requested for the party. Just absolutely amazing! Finally, Skye Walker performed and I dont actually have the right words to express how brilliant she was. 10s across the board!!! So funny, so kind, and made the party so special.I would highly recommend The Spot to ANYONE looking to celebrate a special occasion, or just to go to if you are looking for an incredible time. Absolutely cannot wait to keep coming back to this spot over and over again!
Does not exist! Will get Robbed ! Very sketch! Does not answer phone will lead you to sketch ally way ! Do not go! I have pics but doesnt let me post!!! It fake! Do not go!!! Very misleading!!!! Waisted 40 minutes!!!!! Very sketch!!!
The drag performance was great but definitely the brunch was not worth the price. Our food was very average and cost $30. I asked for the waiter for water 3x and it never came. The food felt very cheap (waffles were those cheap ones you buy at the grocery store) and mimosas were warm! They make you pay for a $59 brunch that sincerely is worth half. The place itself was good but would not recommend the drag brunch due to the food, drinks and service.
We stopped in here to see Brenda Dharling’s show during the week. It wasn’t that busy but we talked with Coyote at the bar and had a great time before heading to the back to see the show. We had a great time and then moved back to the front. We were not planning to stay until closing but we had a great time hanging out with everyone!
05/12 a group 9 friends and I attended the 12:15 seating of drag brunch. Our server’s name was Venice and he was awesome and very attentive. The entertainment was great, drinks and food were good, and all of the staff was so nice - including the managers helped me to book my large party. All of my guests had an incredible time.
The vibe is so nice and chill and Daniel is an absolute sweetheart! We loved sitting up at the bar chit chatting with him. He gave us great recommendations that certainly did not disappoint. When we return to NY we will definitely be returning.
THE BRUNCH 10/10 more if possible. The queens to die for. The drinks unstoppable. I loved the service. The show. The vibe. The people. If I could rate more I would. Definitely the best brunch in Hell’s Kitchen and maybe the world
We were dying to find a good gay bar in town and this one came highly rated. It was so well decorated and designed inside we were immediately in love. We loved the seasonal drink specials for autumn and the food menu had some great choices. We also attended their Sunday drag brunch and that was totally worth the money. The mimosas, bloody Mary’s and blood orange crushes were truly bottomless. I ordered the brunch burger and really enjoyed the drag show. The next time in town will definitely be going back.
My guy jerry was one of the best bartenders ever he recommended mad drinks for me and my girl and made us feel welcomed from when we came to when we e left
Omg this place was amazing!!! We went for their Sunday drag brunch. The food was probably some of the best I’ve ever had (my partner said it was the best steak he’d ever had for their steak and egg breakfast lol), and when they say bottomless drinks? They should mean topless because you could barely get down to finishing your drink halfway before they refilled it for you! Staff was kind and attentive. Security at the door. And for the drag show itself? Oh my god it was literally the best drag brunch I’ve ever seen. The queens were hilarious and their performances were outstanding. So so kind and so funny. Definitely felt safe and welcome here. Private, Gender neutral bathrooms were great to see. Everything about our visit here was perfect. My cheeks hurt because I was smiling so much the whole time. Come here!!!
The Spot Drag Brunch was EVVVERRRRYYYYTHING!!!!! OMG! My daughter and I had a blast. Normally you are going for the show and not expecting the service and food to be on point right along with it! But all were 10 🌟! No better way to celebrate my daughter turning 21 and coming back to college in the city!
Nice local gay bar with casual atmosphere, tasty drink options, plenty of video screens, and classic gay bar fun like Sunday Drag Brunch, and Drag Bingo Tuesdays. A menu of hot Winter drinks is a nice alternative, I recommend the Spot Hot Chocolate, a rich chocolaty drink with your choice of alcohol like Jamesons Whiskey. Ask for whipped cream on top. A seasonal option is the Hot Cider with Makers Mark. If you are seeking a strong drink, the hot cider holds more whiskey. Friendly and handsome bartenders are happy to chat .
Cozy local gay bar. Very friendly crew. They have drag shows and a popular drag brunch. Nothing glamorous here. Down to earth.
Amazing brunch!!! So fun for a bachelorette party.
Very atmospheric and interesting place, delicious drinks and friendly service. The perfect place to relax and have a good time.
First time here. Great atmosphere, amazing staff, great drinks and the brunch drag race was very nice
Went to the drag brunch show with a bachelorette party. The show was great. The food was really good and the service was great too.
Me and my cousins went here for my 50th birthday on August 27th omg Everything was absolutely fabulous I would definitely go back here again drinks everything was Fabulous. Thanks for help Celebrating my 50th birthday
Amazing gay bar. The Drag Brunch is spectacular, hilarious, and the food is delicious!!!! Favorite place to go in NYC
The bartender David was super nice and made the best drinks. We are visiting from Chicago and had a great, warming experience.
The perfect Saturday night! Great music, decent prices, not too crowded. We really had a good time
Brunch was okay. Not the best quality meal for $30. They also charged my card more than I authorized/signed for.
Gino was so sweet. Definitely a good walk in, the entire experience well worth it. Definitely a hidden gem on 10th Avenue.
Loved it here! The music was everything & kept us dancing. Jerry was the best bartender weve had on our trip! 💕
Great place for a drink before the show!
Been here two times. The first was great. The second was just recently on a Saturday at 11 PM. We were told there was a $20 cover by the bouncer. It wasn’t pride weekend, and there are a dozen other great bars with no cover within walking distance. Nah, not worth it, we went elsewhere.
Great gay bar, drag shows have famous drag queens hosting them. Drinks are great. Food is great for bar food...if you know what I mean.
No wonder this place is closing. Door man was rude for no reason so I just left without even going in.
There are better karaoke places. The audio is horrible. Low quality & the mics are so low you have to scream to be heard over the loud music.
Love The Spot! Great atmosphere and music! Drinks were priced great too! Lots of space to enjoy too!
Made a reservation for brunch was treated like trash with bar seating and no available bar seats available. Never coming again.
Went for drag brunch. Was the best I’ve ever experienced in NYC
Wouldn’t recommend here, super expensive. Avoid here and go somewhere else.Nice venue and a shame about service.
Celebrated my 69th birthday yesterday at The Spot and it was the best birthday I’ve ever had! The staff…servers, DJ and the two lovely ladies who entertained were hilarious and awesome! The brunch and bottomless drinks were great. The audience had a ball! I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to celebrate a special occasion.
Loved the ambience, audience and friendly staff. Will stop by again when I come back
Great drag brunch show! Just be aware that food will come out at different times depending on tables and how quickly you put in an order. You might get served at the end of the show.
We were a group of about 10pp. The show was really great. High energy, funny, interactive... a good time. The food was ok. I had the avocado toast. And tasted a few of my friends plates. The breakfast pizza was my favorite (w/eggs).
Great spot for brunch! The show is amazing!
Was here for Paige Turners Bingo! She is hilarious! the space was so welcoming and bustling. The drinks are a bit pricey, but if youre on vacation, that shouldnt be an issue, haha.
Had an amazing time with my friends and the queens were so entertaining 10/10 the staff was amazing and the food was great.
Kizha Carr Friday night drag show was fabulous :)
Love the atmasphare and Hendrics Gin!
White yuppie spot. They do not like women to be in there. Foods criminally overpriced and nothing special. Literally probably made in a microwave. I dont see longevity for this establishment. Management is clearly hostile to reviews by POC. The place itself has that vibe.
Had the time of our lives at drag brunch!!!! Incredible queens, servers, and staff. My glass was never empty and I never stopped smiling. Will definitely be coming back.
We choose to celebrate my wife’s 40th birthday in the backroom of The Spot and it was absolutely PERFECT!!! Marc and Joao were our servers and they seamlessly took care of our group of 40, we always had a drink in hand. We all agreed…we have never had better service. The dj they hired for us was so freaking fun and we danced the whole time. Ted the owner was a breeze to work with and showed up to make sure everything was set up for success. We hired Skye Walker to perform a few numbers for our group and I have never been more entertained, the absolute best in the business. 25 out of 10 for The Spot, this place is perfect.
The atmosphere and layout of this bar is great. There’s a dance area in the back. Bartenders are nice to!
Had an amazing time. Food and staff were great. The show was so fun! Definitely recommend
Another great bar in Hells Kitchen! The drinks are good and the bartenders are very attentive and nice to all guests. Management is doing incredible things here! Got to check this place out twice during my visit to include the Saturday drag brunch and it exceeded my expectations! Highly recommend checking this place out!
Nice casual atmosphere. Staff and patrons were great!
AMAZING drag brunch! would 10/10 recommend
Drag brunch wasn’t bad but left a bit to be desired performance wise, felt super geared to a very young crowd, my group got mocked for requesting a Stevie Nicks song and the two queens literally did not know who Stevie Nicks even was (concerning and confusing) …food was also not great. We tipped like crazy but still felt a bit invisible compared to other NYC drag brunches where the attention and humor felt inclusive of the entire crowd. Still love to support queer business and appreciate all drag performers regardless.
I’ve been here a few times for drinks and it’s a fun low key bar. Yesterday I tried their brunch for the first time and was pleasantly surprised! The staff were very friendly and accommodating, we were a rather large group and they went out of their way to shuffle seats around for us. The bottomless drinks are good, the servers come around frequently to fill them up, and the food was delicious. I had the burger and tots and it came w a large side salad which was perfect. The drag queens put on an amazing show and dealt with my friend’s blackout heckling (sorry about them lol) with grace and tact, talk about talented! Overall it was a lot of fun and I would definitely go back!
I would like to personally say thank you to the bartenders at the Spot! I thought I left my id and card and was a very stressed human but I had left it at the second bar of the night. Instead of getting upset with me or making me feel bad they looked and went out of their way to try and find something that was a whole bar away. This bar made me completely comfortable and the staff is Out of this world! 10 out of 10. ❤️❤️❤️
The security guard is very sweet, the performers are great too. I was just let down on the food/drink. It was a interesting experience, one time only though.
Glad that I booked the Sunday brunch! It is one of the best attractions that I have visited. The drag show is AMAZING! The burger is yummy too!
Daniel is amazing! They Recommend and made the perfect drink! Very sweet and personable. The bar is super cute as well.
The brunch here is magical. Dont sleep on it, its that good. Even the food was amazing, the tots are fried perfection. loved every minute i was here.
The place is super amazing. The bartender Chayne is very attentive and friendly. The place is beyond my expectation. I would recommend this place.
We went there for a Rupauls dragrace viewing party and a drag brunch the next day. It was so fun, the place is great and all the drag queens and employes are super nice. To experience the local gay bar scene. The food was very good too, i didnt expected that!
Sunday drag brunch was not what I expected. Only one drag leading the show, the show was okay. I been to better drag shows in NYC. The food is very mediocre, just to clarify to the owner (no I was not on a budget) I just believe that for the price, you guys should be serving better quality food and the mimosas were just the cheapest prosecco on the market. Owner you should take in consideration bad reviews as good feedback so that you can better serve your cliental.
Terrific drag brunch performances.
This is hands down the best all you can eat, all you can drink brunch I’ve ever had in my life. Service was incredible. The queens were incredible. The DJ was incredible. All in all an incredible experience.
It had a friendly vibe but having my coat stolen sort of ruined my enjoyment of the evening.
9th floor, Jerry is the man! Absolutely love the energy this bartender puts into the showing he does making drinks. If anyone sees this, Jerry is THEE bartender! Hell make you love this place alone as a bar, making it THE SPOT!
Had a bad experience last night. My friend saw a guy put something in my drink. I told the bartenders and tried to exchange my tampered drink to avoid a confrontation in a new establishment. My drink was full and they still refused to help. I left the drink and bought a new one.. There’s clearly a safety issue in this place. They’re hiring people who don’t know or care to manage this type of dangerous situations. I’m def. not coming back. Kudos to the bouncer for being the only decent person here though.
Wow. Rude staff. I asked if they had grapefruit soda so I could order a Paloma and the bartender “corrected” me saying it’s not an ingredient but like bruh. Then when he asked if I wanted to leave my tab open I was like yeah and he gave me attitude about needing my ID. Like sorry but everywhere is different. Some places just store it digitally, others don’t keep an ID with it. Like sorry I’m not psychic and you don’t know how to make a basic drink.EDIT: Can’t seem to reply on my phone. Tonight, around 7:30PM. The redhead bartender.
I love The Spot! They play great music and have an amazing dance floor for NYC. Plus it’s a very nice ambience. Might go again tonight!
Really nice. Basically a fancy version of DBL down the the street. Tequila soda $12. Also not related to The Spot karaoke bar on 32nd st.
The place itself is honestly fine and looks nice, but incredibly rude, unhelpful staff. My friend and I were being followed and harassed by some guy here for an hour. We were mostly just annoyed until he physically tried to join my friend in the restroom. We tried telling the bartenders, but they shrugged saying they were busy. We told some other staff who we at least thought was security and even gave a description of what the guy was wearing. He basically just said well if it happens again just let me know. This place can keep its overpriced drinks and useless staff. If you want a nice, safe night out, there are so many other places to check out in the area.
Great barmen. She is very nice and speaks russian
Loaded tots hit The Spot 🤤
The most amazing club i’ve ever been to, they had to drag me out by my feet.
Well, so organization of this event is nuts, we came for 2.30 show with reservations and they makes us wait outside when it was 30 degrees, for 30 minBravo management
Run of the mill Hells Kitchen gay bar Playing pop music. Ranking lower because it’s not close to the other HK or Chelsea bars, nothing special that differentiates it.
Jerry was so great! 10/10 recommend
Pretty spacious, good drinks, well decorated/organized
Racist performances, talking s%^* about white people.
Great drag brunch !
So much fun!!
Cheap drinks and cute venue
The drinks are bad. So diluted
Drag brunch was great 😊
This bar is so cool!
Had a blast!
We went to the Heidi n Closet show, the waiters were very friendly, the drinks were normal, although the show lasted very little, it only had 2 numbers and a couple of photos were taken.
A-MA-ZING!I went there for brunch and I had the best time of my life. Everything was perfect: the welcome, the table service, the food was excellent, the unlimited cocktails... and the show!! For all drag brunch lovers you need to go there! 100% fun I definitely will come back! Thanks 🙏
Cool bar. During my visit, entry was free and we only paid for what would be consumed. The place is well attended, the music really pleased me, and the prices of the products sold there are on average what you find in most bars in New York. The service from the waiters was as expected. Another positive point is the location of the bar.
Excellent place
Brilliant!
