Came here for restaurant week and had a delicious meal! Strongly recommend the Duck Confit and Frog Legs. The Uni Soba was also delicious and I loved the texture. The iberico pork (pictured) was good but most of the flavor was in the sauce. The fried chicken sandwich by comparison was more messy but one of the better ones Ive had!Restaurant isnt cheap but mostly worth the price.

Swung by here and tried out half their seasonal menu with my friend. The price is $75/pp on a three course meal, portions are little small but kind of what you’d expect for this sort of experience so it’s not bad, drinks are fairly standard size and pricing for the area. The dishes themselves are really good and I enjoyed the different flavors and textures present in them. There are specials not on the menu as add-ons you can get too.

Just wrapped dinner with a bunch of work colleagues & had an incredible experience. The ambiance, the food, the drinks were all world class. Our server, Astrid, was a delight & super helpful. If you go with a group, you MUST get the 14-day dry aged duck; it is the best duck I’ve ever eaten. If you’re a martini drinker, I highly suggest ordering the Gilda martini. I’m not personally a big wine drinker, but my party felt the selection was incredible. Will definitely be back!

My god are the portions small, especially for the price! I’ve never seen such small sides. Taste is okay at best, wasn’t wowed by anything. This is one of the best new and happening restaurants in NYC. The dishes are beautiful and creative, and the restaurant is really lovely (gorgeous furniture and tableware) with a great bar. This dining experience was a MASSIVE letdown. As a food enthusiast with my own Instagram food page, I have dined at restaurants all across New York City, but I have never encountered this kind of service. On a Wednesday night, six of us arrived with low expectations. The initial level of service was respectable, even though the food was only mediocre. When Jeffrey Kim, the owner, personally introduced himself and thanked us for visiting, we were thrilled. Up until he shocked us with his direct remark.  He insisted again and again that he would not put up with us being rude to or treating his staff with disrespect.  But he continues by expressing his gratitude for our business. We were all stunned by his rudeness and enraged by it.  At NO point were any of the guests rude to the staff, and when we asked him to give examples of this so-called disrespect to his staff, he couldn’t come up with anything. The whole encounter came as such a shock because we had been pleasant to the staff throughout our dining experience. He didn’t give the customers the benefit of the doubt. He just came and said we are rude and that there is no room for any discussion. No one else should visit this establishment ever, and neither will we. When leaving the restaurant, weve never felt so disrespected. Since there are far better restaurants in this city that serve this type of meal in this category, we will never return.

Just perfection; from the streamlined decor, well lit (no need to use a flashlight to read the menu). For once the background music allowed us to hear what the servers were saying. Young servers, all well trained and working together as a team, always kept an attentive eye on us.The food is innovative with an emphasis on seafood combined with unexpected ingredients; each dish surprised us with new pleasant flavors, textures and combinations.Small plates that can be shared between a party of two.Frog legs were succulent, with the most delicate flaky coating. Grilled oyster with kimchi (served on bed of green glass pebbles) made for a striking presentation and an unforgettable bite.A cold seafood salad with gigante beans had the right amount of acidity that kept the individual flavor of each morsel.Mapo scungili with pork and bamboo served on an egg custard was a revelation.Mushrooms, four types each cooked a different way were served on a bed of mushroom puree with an egg yolk that one has to mix together. Excellent though small. We paired everything with a NY hard cider that was a perfect accompaniment to these array of inventive Asian fusion dishes.

The atmosphere inside is nice but the service was awful. I went alone before my plans I was standing by the door ignored even though several workers saw me. Had to ask to get my order taken. Wine list was minimal and my $25 small plate was below average. Usually crudos have a refreshing taste and acid to balance but this one was one dimensional and boring. I wasnt dying to take another bite. I gave them a $100 bill and tipped over 20% and it took about 10 minutes for them to tell me they dont have bills to break the change and then I offered to pay card. With a $$$ restaurant they should easily accommodate cash but I guess they dont have that standard. I did appreciate her topping my wine off as a gesture to apologize but overall not a memorable dining experience

This is a hidden gem! I had such a great experience here. There are not many restaurants, if any, where the owners come by and greet you at your table. Not only did the owners greet me and my party at the table. They went one by one describing the different dishes they were serving. The amount of thought, love, and hard work that went into curating the dishes is very apparent. The owners and staff are very professional and very polite. They really embody and care about customer service and want your experience to be A++++++.I could write a novel about how good the food is. The different combinations of elements in each dish compliment each other so well. I would highly recommend the Soba, hamachi, and the frog legs. I was lucky enough to have a big enough party and was able to try the whole menu and I can say confidently you will not be disappointed with anything on the menu. The cocktails are well thought out and equally as delicious. Top of the list are the Gilda Martini and the Heat of Passion. The bartender not only curated the drinks, but brought them to the table and described the inspiration behind each drink. The level of thought that went into the food and drinks you can also see in the decor and art around the space. It is so simple yet so elegant and most importantly a very warm inviting atmosphere. The music on in the back plays at such a perfect level, coupled with the overall quiet dining area, to set a great ambiance in the restaurant. This is a great place if you want to bring a group of 6 or if you want to have a chill date night.I cant say enough how much I loved this place and what a great experience I had. First of all, we waited 20 minutes for someone to take our order. The menu was hard to understand and we had to have the server explain it to us. We then proceeded to wait 45-60 min in between each course. The cauliflower was amazing, but I couldn’t even eat the Turkey neck. Don’t waste your time — or you money. Also — $18 cocktails for a basic marg !? Enough said.

A gem of a restaurant in LES with great vibes. We were blown away by the biscuits with koji butter with trout roe and white anchovies. The oxtail dish was tender and delicious and thoughtfully presented a la tajine. The sauce had just the right amount of sweetness to round out the savory taste with chickpeas. The duck leg confit was on point with a balance of crisp and tender. I particularly enjoyed the alpaca tartare, this time sans cheddar cheese, as I was able to fully appreciate the mild and creamy and almost sweet flavor and texture of the meat. The recommended sparkling and red wine complemented the dishes nicely. Our dinner was capped off with a nice surprise drink: house made maesil soju - plummy!!!

Had a wonderful dinner here. Many dishes really stood out. The alpaca is soft and mild, reminiscent of chutoro. The rosette is oily because it’s deep fried, but the crisp flavors counterbalance it harmoniously. The fried beef amuse bouche—I want to bring an entire bag home. And the lapsang souchong cocktail is really clever; it feels like it contains a smoky Scotch when it does not.I took off a star because of the portion size, considering it is a pricy meal. Normally the menu is a 3-course prix fixe. When I dined, I was offered an a la carte menu. I ordered 3 dishes + 1 dessert to be in line with what they’d expect someone to eat. Fine dining portion size is usually small because it’s part of a really long tasting menu; these are portions for a 5-course menu, not 3. Each dish was around four heaping spoonfuls. I left feeling like I wanted a few more bites. It doesn’t hurt to put some starch or beans in the main course, or perhaps offer complimentary bread.

What a wonderful gastronomical experience at Nudibranch! I went during the restaurants opening with my family, and the delicious and creative cuisine was so satisfying. The talented, young but experienced chefs came out of the kitchen to talk to us and introduced the courses. The seafood dishes were my faves - so fresh and tasty. The wait staff was courteous even though it was a packed night. Cant wait until to go again!

Everything about Nudibranch was next-level. The ambience is fantastic -- refined and elegant, but not at all pretentious or boogey. Music is awesome and perfectly fits the vibe, but just the right level for conversations. Its great for a date or with friends or family. Really any occasion. The service is excellent, really knowledgable, personable and attentive. And of course, the food and drinks are delightful. Really adventurous and wide-ranging but all manage to tie all the flavors and ingredients together perfectly.

This restaurant experience was a real disappointment. We visited as a group of 5 on Friday night and we had high expectations. The service was excellent but the food was just poor tasting. We had expected something way better for the price you are asked to pay. Most of the dishes were poorly composed and generally just lacked spices and flavors. I would not recommend this restaurant, there are way better options that are both cheaper and tastier in the food category.

I went to Nudibranch with my wife, whos pregnant, and it was a disaster. The portions were tiny, the prices were very high, and the music was so loud her Apple Watch warned us that the decibels were potentially unsafe for my unborn baby boy. MY BOY! Needless to say, it was definitely not the relaxing and delightful dinner we were hoping for. Save your money, hearing, and unborn children and go somewhere else.

Yikes -- avoid this place if you can. Dishes are kind of bizzare and are certainly not worth it. Food is a solid B-/C.. if that.. Also the vibes are definitely off here. Service was reallly brutal, it was way too loud, and honestly just felt kind of dirty? like they hadnt thoroughly washed dishes/cutlery or cleaned the space properly from the night before -- things were sticky. Will NOT be going back.
