Great place for happy hour after work or have a drink with a nice view of the Empire State. The service was a bit slow, but the drinks and happy hour specials were on point.

While not as high and not as well know, the location of this rooftop offers some of the better views of certain NYC landmarks including the Empire State Building. During my visit I appreciated that it was not overcrowded and offered some drinks. Since this is in the Hyatt Herald Square I assume there is a connection. It looks like the bar is closes for the season very early so you may want to check before you go.

Amazing view from the empire estate, good happy hour deals, and the stuff was super nice! They made a mistake with my order but managed the situation very well.I say is a 5 for the great views, and they could improve the service just a little 🙂

Nice but unspectacular views.Drinks, as on every roof in the usa - are served in plastic - only in America where people must have thrown glassware silverware and chairs over the 8 foot tall glass walls into the street.the music on the day we visited was blaringly loud. there was a very attentive Bartender. unfortunately she was not aware that the TV was dropping the signal every 5 to 8 seconds and the picture was Pixley and the sound was gone. Very annoying. The wiring of the TV as well as for the led lighting was done by an amateur and lookedDisorderly, a salad of unorganized wires and connections. You would not want to see or have this kind of set up at home. No attention to detail at all. Is this the Hyatt standard these days? The TV set ups in the Burroughs look usually better and this is mot what we expected to find in a world class bar.

Great secret rooftop views from a Midtown essential. Make this your base-of-ops for touring the City and you cant go wrong. one block from the subway - close to MSG, and Times Square. The hotel is quite amazing with views of the ESB and (presumably) the Financial District if you face south (definitely from the roof on both).

The view is amazing! Drinks are pretty expensive though and for whatever reason it was cash only. Crowd seemed a little upscale.

Great view of the empire state. However not that tall of a building and limited bar, not very unique just what youd expect of a hotel bar

Open to view the stunning surroundings even if the bar is closed. Bar is good and not as overly busy as other rooftop bars. A little expensive.

The view is beautiful and we had enough space to sit down, the place wasnt crowded at all. But the drinks are horrible, I went for a happy hour $8 cocktail which was supposed to be a mojito, but it was just some kind of low quality booze with a few ice cubes and one slice of cucumber... Very disappointing.

Very nice rooftop lounge. Wasnt too crowded. Drinks are expensive but I thought it was still worth it! Clear view of the Empire State building.

Nice view. However we went there during the happy hour and I ordered two red wines and I asked for the check, they charged me $30 which I later found out was even more expensive than what was on the menu. When I asked they said I ordered a special wine (that was not the case).We also saw another group of people complaining about being over charged when we were there.

Great view. Huge area but filled up quickly. Has a nice brunch on weekends.

A place with a great view. You can see Chrysler building and empire state building at the same time. However, it is a very very lousy place with respect to service. The service is slow and wih attitude. the bar is supposed to open at 4pm, but at 4:10 they only start with the cleaning and organizing. Unfortunately we didnt have the patience to see how long after 4:30 they would actually start serving.

At this moment the best rooftop. Relaxed atmosphere, you can almost touch the empire with your hand and it is not usually very busy.

Brilliant views in all directions! Empire State Building right in front of your nose, Chrysler Building great to see, One World Trade Center to the south... what more could you want!!! There are also really great bartenders and the drinks are ok too. We always went for a sundowner every now and then, highly recommended!

It is very well located and the staff is very friendly and efficient, I recommend it.
