The Fox Harlem

3pm Happy Hour! Its early, and thats cool, but nothing to write home about. Hot wings had no heat. Mozzarella sticks were standard freezer-to-fryer fare, but came out hot and crunchy. Went at 3pm and found staff friendly, but inattentive. $25 for 4 wings, 4 mozzarella sticks, and a beer. Content Hour, at best.

Cool comfortable spot to relax and catch up with friends or associates. We sat in the enclosed outdoor section. It was cold.. roughly 50 degree weather in November.. would be a better experience if the area was properly heated. I had a burger... It was good. Nice portion. You will spend a bit more here than other spots. Staff was courteous and attentive. They have games on the sidewalk like Cornhole.. was interesting watching patrons play. Not too crowded on a Saturday afternoon, around 4pm so am not sure if service suffers at peak times. Overall pleasant experience

I really liked The Fox. The food was good but needs a little seasoning, Happy Hour, Margaritas - Just For Me... could be a little happier. We had a great time, and I love the fact that its men who take care of you. Good idea and the prices for happy hour are good also. I recommend The Fox....try it!! I DID and Happy I did.

This is the spot for great brunch food & drinks great. The atmosphere and restaurant the best. Our waiter John the best very pleasant courtesy help and on point. I highly recommend

I think this place is good to come watch a game, cool ambiance, aesthetics are like a dinner. Food is good for bar food, brunch is good tooThey have big jumbo games sometimes to play while you’re there but I bring my own scrabble in the summer. The drinks are unique to the bar they’re not super strong but I like ‘em’

I ordered a Kale salad which included sliced apples. Upon attempting to take a bite of my salad, the produce sticker was still affixed on the apple. How is the sticker STILL ON THE APPLE of a plated meal? Was the produce ever washed? I bought it to the attention of the manager Chris. He was not accommodating at all and refused to give me a complimentary salad as a courtesy. He said “I can’t do that”. Of course you can, you are the manager. I will never do business at this establishment again because the manager made it quite obvious that he did not care for my patronage. His attitude was very poor.

Visited for Bar Mitzah reception of Sons friend who is a partner in business and operating partners while there. In a league to itself for pubs in Area in terms of quality of service, food and classy Ambiance. Will return soon!

I went to happy hour with my cousin. The vibe was nice. I didnt know it was a sports bar. I liked the variety of drinks for happy hour but they should definitely have flavor options. Fresh fruits not syrups. I wanted a strawberry margarita. Jason was our server and he was fabulous! We plan to come for brunch.

Very cute place. We just stopped in for happy hour. Didnt order food this time however, some of the dishes that passed by our table looked delicious ...so next will give it a try.

Love this stylish sports bar! The staff is so friendly and warm! We sat at the bar and chatted it up with the bartender. They make great cocktails!! The food is really good, not just your typical sports bar food. You can tell there was a lot of thought that went into planning the menu. Lots of options from sliders to mozzarella sticks, vegetarian choices too. Great place to catch a game or meet up with friends! Kids were there too. I highly recommend The Fox!!

My Grandfather , good friend and I went out to dinner and had, calamari, mango hot wings, truffle fries, Caesar salad, the Salmon burger. The food came out in 10 minutes. We were kind of confused because that was very fast.. but excited to try everything. When we all parted ways and went home, we all had been on the toilet ALL night. Unstoppable diarrhea, I also breast fed my new born baby who’s only 1 month old and he had diarrhea all night as well. He was in a lot of pain and there was nothing I could do to soothe him. We spent a great amount of money on food and drinks and this was the outcome. I also contacted the manager to let them know my experience and she completely ignored and disregarded my concerns, she said we all probably had a common food allergy. She didn’t come up with any solution, and added more insult to the injuries we went through. I am also a food service manager who is licensed with a serf safe certification, and in my business we take these concerns very seriously and justify the situation accordingly. I will never come here again. Between the food poisoning and customer service, I’d save my money !!!!

The NY Tuskegee Alumni Association held a watch party here for a football game and the staff and food were amazing and accomodating. Will definitely be back.

Stop by with a fairly big crew for a round of drinks. Chill atmosphere. Music was good but a bit loud for the small space...not great for conversations across a large table but would be fine at smaller table

The Experience for a Sports Bar was amazing. Fresh cooked perfectly sliders at a Medium Temperature was perfect the Hot Wings was cooked perfectly (moist and tender not overcooked). Keep up the good work. James the Bartender was the Best. Great personality and customer service. Great Job Guys

I ordered a simple cocktail, a double whiskey Jameson. On first impression, the drink was a bit watery, which, happens. Then, I received the tab: $30.00, for a single drink. Not $18, not $23, not $16. $30, the price of a meal, for a watered down drink. Which, you could get an 250-375 ML of Jameson for.It is truly a shame, that the economy and competition has forced businesses like this to overcharge and underserve on drinks. I hope that’s the reason they do it, not to rip people off.I will not return.

Hosted a private 60th birthday party with 60 people and a DJ. Was able to bring in dinner from Lido (my absolute favorite caterer and neighborhood restaurant) as the two have the same owner. Susannah and Chris were on every detail - we just had to show up. Several guests warned that I may be invited to their future party at The Fox because it was such a great venue and experience. Highly, highly recommend

I work in this area and always walk by. My boss told me to check it out and I did and let me just say it was amazing. I went on Mother’s Day. The host was very pleasant, and my waitress Lauren was superb. The atmosphere was just right and the drinks were so good- they are not stingy with the liquor at all. The food was nothing to run town about but, everything was reasonably priced and I definitely recommend and will be going back.

If you are looking for subpar bites and completely bland flavorless food, then this place is for you. I frequently dine at the owners sister restaurant Lido and it’s hard to believe that they are under the same management. Lidos is awesome delicious and consistent as I’ve been going there since they opened. This Fox place is a sad addition to their portfolio of Harlem restaurants. I wanted to like the place because of the decor and layout of the place and I thought it would be a great alternative. They should completely revamp the menu and get some solid quality burgers, fries and wings which shouldn’t be hard with their access to celebrity chefs and the owners experience. Drinks were also below standard, your better off ordering a bottled beer. The competition is too fierce on this strip and I hope they pivot fast.

The bartender hooked us up with stiff drinks so kudos to her, but the food we had was very meh. It was the end of the night yes, but the chips we ordered with the guacamole were so stale. Like bag open for three days situation. I ordered the burger, also very meh. I heard there wings are good though. Might just be a place for happy hour, definitely not for dinner. The vibe was chill. Service was super slow, but I guess that’s because it was the end of the night and everyone wanted to go home. Not sure I’d come again.

You like sports you will have fun here! You like beer you will love this place after you taste and refresh having well made beer cocktail here. If you love happy hour and deals make sure you come with friends before six my dear. I love this place i love the great service. The Fox 🦊 is here to stay! I like the atmosphere and good tv placement. Once they find their rhythm it will be a go to spot for me. Bernice, the hostess was especially helpful and very nice. Our waiter. Adam was so fun and suggested great items off the menu. Try the Foxy Lady…you won’t be disappointed!

I came here to watch the Super Bowl and they had first come, first serve seating, which was very beneficial to me! $20 but you got a token for a free drink, which is more than most places do these days.Although we essentially had no service because it was so busy, we could see that they were grossly understaffed and the server was doing his best so honestly it was fine! The burger was a good size, not the most flavorful, but all of the food around us looked really good!Lots of tvs + seating at the bar, outdoor, and indoor.

Awesome new place in the up and coming area of Harlem. Great food and service. Good selection of beer. They had some cool cocktails listed but I’ll have to try them next time because I will def be back.

I had the burger, and it was disgusting. Frozen meat for a restaurant… dripping with that soft-meat color liquid oozing out after the frozen meat thaws. First time seeing this at a restaurant. Pickles weren’t that good either.

The food was just okay I had the calamari and fried shrimp it was super tasteless even the marinara sauce had no flavor. I also had the burger with cheddar caramelized onions and avocado. You would think that it would be delicious but literally its just a slab of meat I dont think they put even a dash of salt and pepper on their food. The fries were really good. The Froze was good. But what makes this place get three stars is the wait staff they were incredible. Highly attentive, courteous, nice wait staff, the busboy, servers everyone who worked there was genuinely so nice and pleasant that it made it a pleasant experience regardless of the fact that the food was not very good.

I didn’t get to eat. After having tap water dropped off I was ignored for 20 minutes with my menus closed. Not even offered drinks. So I left.

The staff were friendly, BUT... there was a roach in the glass of soda our guest ordered! I lost my entire appetite. The food is irrelevant at this point. The help took off all the alcohol & non alcoholic beverages f/ our bill... it should have been the entire bill! GROSS. NEVER, EVER, AGAIN. The kitchen needs to be evaluated ASAP by a Food Inspector! F!

I paid $4 for a cup of tea. Theyre a little out of touch with the community, but then again so is most of the businesses that are opening up in Harlem They are not as badly priced as some of the other places in the neighborhood . The food was good but nothing the rave about. It could have been seasoned a little better. The potatoes were extremely overcooked. The hostess/waitress was fake friendly. You know the type kind of smiles in your face over doing it for no reason. The busboy/waiter stood there. Staring running over to second. He saw that your plate may have been empty like you had nothing else to do. And it wasnt like it was a empty restaurant and he was just bored. They also werent packed. He didnt need to stand on top of us like that .Almost like we didnt fit their vibe and they were just trying to get us to hell out because they were not doing this to anybody else. It was just a weird dining experience. That I wont necessarily try to repeat. And when it necessarily advises other people to do so. Dining establishments need to understand that as much as the quality and presentation of their food is important, so is their customer service. Because although the food wasnt necessarily great, I would probably give it another chance. But just how the bus boy/waiter seem like he was almost under pressure to clear a table. Thats why I wont necessarily come back. I dont sit down at a restaurant to be ignored but I also dont expect to be stalked while Im eating . Whats sad? We went there on the recommendation of a manager or the owner...Who was at a different establishment A few blocks up. I just wanted breakfast which they didnt serve.

Food was amazing (chicken mushroom burger was beyond amazing). Great happy hour and the atmosphere was perfect. The staff however, particularly Sadie, made the whole night perfect. Sadie was attentive to us which was great, but watching her treat everyone who walked through the door like they were family was great to see - my favorite was watching her give a young kid water on a 100 degree day, and making the kid feel like they were an actual customer. Best staff, best bar in Harlem!

I went here recently and I’ll never go back. Food was fine but a cockroach crawled across the bar 🤢 and the staff didn’t seem to care. Gross.

6:37 pm 8/30horrible serviceI came for happy hourmy waiter took my order perfectly fine and the server gave my food to someone else 2 times and got my order incorrect twice!!! I tried to give this establishment another chance and I’m done! And still charged me for the drinks

This place is only getting one star due to our service. As noted on the website in addition to calling and requesting this place does not take reservations “once football season has started” that includes preseason. We went there on a Sunday night (August 27,2023) with the expectation of first come first served. We were lucky enough to find the restaurant not busy at all and choose a four seater to sit with friends for our meal. After about 20 mins of sitting we were approached by a waiter and told we would have to move due to another family having a reservation. This was beyond strange considering both website and when we called said no reservations in addition to the 6 other open available tables. Forced to move we got up and allowed for another company of three to enjoy the table we had started our night in. This put a damper on our entire experience. Food and drinks were good, you had to flag down the wait staff for everything from water to another round of drinks. The atmosphere was not welcoming at all.

Great food and atmosphere. I came here for brunch with some friends and they had a great generous pour of the unlimited mimosas/Bellinis. The French toast is the best I’ve had with pecans it is just incredible!

Great vibe and seating, terrible service. Waited 15 min for server to show up. Did not come back once, during the whole hour we were there. Had to get up and chase people down for water, condiments, and finally, just to get the check. Cool place, but this level of brusqueness and inattentiveness makes it hard to want to come back.

Food fine but the prices for what your getting just isn’t right. Ceaser said $14 and if you want to add shrimp it’s $10 more… not sure where they getting their shrimp. Workers are cool though. The setting seems like a vibe. Try it out yourself but it’s not a must try place.

Dont sleep on this spot! Party of four: our experience was superb. From the greeting when we arrived to our seating, service, food, drinks and all around experience -- top notch. Highly recommend the hot wings (they are hot! ... so if you cant stand the heat, err on the side of BBQ.) Our waiter, bartender, and the owner were all phenomenal humans!

Menu looked fine, drinks ok. But frankly the decor is so jarring, my daughter has epilepsy and with the striped wallpaper, orange flooring and all the TVs I won’t be able to take her there. I miss the previous character!

Bar with terrace and plenty of tables.The treatment was not ideal since they dropped a glass, filled everything with water, and we waited 40 minutes for an appetizer plate.The atmosphere is good, but I wouldnt recommend it due to the delay in serving.
