A beautiful find, uptown in Inwood. They have delicious food, a great tapas assortment, as well as delicious lamb chops, steaks, chicken, fish, and seafood.The sangria was fruity, the bar had icy cocktails, and the wine list was extensive.The flan was the perfect finishing touch.The night we were there, there was live music.

This is a hidden GEM 💎 in Washington Heights!Food, service, atmosphere was a 10 out of 10. Came in with my good friend; he wanted to try La Casa del Mofongo and I encouraged him to try tapas (which he had not done so). This was ny first encounter with Galicia Tapas but I live tapas and I havent dined in a tapas restaurant that wasnt excellent. Galicias did not disappoint! Everything our wonderful waiter Manolo placed on our table was delicious! The bread? Its a appetizer in itself! The beer, the food, the coffee! The service was outstanding, thank you Manolo! Nothing more to say just to say its a phenomenal place, a true gastronomic experience. I will return!

We were on our back from upstate back to Manhattan. We were hungry and searched for tapas. Galicia showed up. Decided ro give it a try. Foods is delicious! Wine is reasonable. The owner came to said hi. Both husband and wife cook in the kitchen. The son is a bartender. We felt like home. Will be back soon.

Probably difficult to find parking during the week but worth the trip.Not many vegetarian options but that’s not a surprise since the Spanish cuisine is meat/seafood heavy. I would recommend the tortilla de vegetales and las patatas bravas!Delicious sangria too!!

Food was delicious and the server was very friendly. We went on a Saturday at 4pm and it wasn’t busy at all. We got gambas al ajillo and seafood paella. Highly recommended!!

Food is amazing. We had patatas bravas, chorizo with wine, croquetas, jamón, pulpo Gallego and sangria. Everything tasted like Spain and service was incredibly nice. One of the best Spanish restaurants in nyc!

The food is consistently delicious. It is a great place for a birthday, date night, or even to dine by yourself. The sangria is so good. The appetizers are great portions. My favorite main dish is the seafood paella. I totally recommend dinning here when your in the neighborhood.

Enjoyed everything about this place. Prices were fare, but I wish they had a better selection of whisky. Please, by some Oban 14 or 12 , Glennfiddich would be great too.

It is not always easy to find classy places in certain neighborhoods but I have been blessed to find this one of a kind restuarant. The scallops, margeritas, and octupus are top shelf and so is the attitude. Going out is about how you are treated every time, as well as the food, people, and atmosphere.

Great tapas place. This is a family business and it shows. The food was very good, and the service was excellent 👌, very attentive, friendly and warm. This is a great option for dinner with family or close friends. Spanish (Galician) menu is authentic and the ingredients are good. They have good Estrella de Galicia beer on tap, Sangria and wines.

The service was Top Level. Waiter was very helpful, attentive, without being intrusive. The Mussel appetizer and Shrimp in Garlic and White Wine Sauce entree was prepared by an ALL STAR CHEF. DELICIOUS!!!! The ambiance is great too, very low key, chill spot.

Too expensive for tapas (you get a huge serving of pulpo in Galicia for 10-11 euros, here it’s $21 and very, very small), tortilla shouldn’t cost more than $6-7 (again, it’s traditionally free in Spain if you order a drink). You can have gourmet tapas for this price range but this is just average / below average.Inwood unfortunately doesn’t have good food. Sadly, I will not repeat this one and will not recommend it unless you wanna try and see for yourself.

Wonderful spot uptown. I had a bunch of their Tapas today (June 17, 2023). I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

The waitress was super attentive, friendly and professional, music was perfect, and the food was delicious, order the octopus, i highly recommended this family owned establishment.

The paella was amazing the best perla in this neighborhood. The octopus salad was and both the paella were perfectly seasoned and had ample portions of fresh seafood.

The food is to die for. A++++++ Excellent service. A restaurant that makes you feel like family goes a long way.

I really enjoyed my experience here. The drinks were completely on point we ordered sangria‘s! And the appetizer was crabcake, which is absolutely delectable. I had salmon and my boyfriend had filet mignon, and they were both just absolutely fantastic! The mashed potatoes, and the french fries were both very delicious. The service was wonderful from the staff and welcoming. The environment is nice and I’d like to come back.

We randomly found this place after walking around in Inwood Park, and it was such a great find. They have indoor and outdoor seating, and there is a full bar area. Everyone that we interacted with was extremely gracious and accommodating.The menu has a variety of classic tapas and seafood options that are great to share. I loved the complimentary bread that was served ahead of our meal. We ordered several dishes, including the pulpo a la Gallega, which was cooked perfectly and had a soft buttery texture. The datiles rellenos were so good, and if you love sausage, definitely try the chorizo a la plancha. My friend got the pargo a la cazuela, and it was just ok. It was too bland and would have been better with additional seasoning. We left this place completely stuffed and satisfied with the great food and service. Looking forward to my next visit.

The host is very friendly and environment clean. But the food lacks confidence. The special of the day was awful...I had what was suppose to be pork tenderloin. It was masked with a sauce but you can tell it was bad 👎 the vegetables was wilted masked again by two pieces of broccoli 🥦 that was fresh and the white rice tasted like plastic. The tapas were very small and lacked desire in taste and look. Dessert was not a big deal. I.e. almond cake should be called a flat almond cake as it was thinner than the plate served in. Taste not impressive. Flan the same.

Hit or miss. Some of the dishes are good, some... arent. I was a bit surprised that they didnt have cava - or any sparkling wine - by glass. I miss Anchor Heights.Update: They say they now have sparkling by the glass. Its either new, or their servers arent trained properly. I was explicitly told no (and left on that occasion because that was the main reason I want there.)

This place was better than expected! The food was good.. somewhat authentic. The portions are reasonable and not lacking flavor. The service is also quite nice! I almost gave it 5 stars just for having Estrella de Galicia on tap. Ill be back.

The place was quiet when I went (friday evening after 9pm) had sangria which was okay and the bacon wrapped dates. My brother thinks they are fantastic, Im certain they are but do not appeal to my aesthetic for food.Everything seems clean and relatively nice.

The best tapas place I’ve been too. I’m so happy that it’s that close to me. Service is beyond excellent, food is always delicious, the drinks are perfect. This place is like an oasis in the middle of Inwood!

Authentic Spanish food! I am so happy they were able to open this restaurant! I missed them a lot. These owners had the original Galicia Restaurant that was in Broadway near 172st. Today I visited with my husband. The owners recognized us right away and offered us outstanding service. The place is beautiful and food is as always so fresh, delicious and authentic! The customer service is really like no other! Please visit and enjoy a great ambiance and food!

Stopped by the other night, believe it was the day after they opened and it was great. Service was pretty attentive and had some nice tapas. Especially liked the Tabla de la Casa, the serrano ham on that was incredible. Also has an extensive list of spanish wines. likely be going back. Great addition to the area.

Good value for money, it has a good atmosphere, you can watch LaLiga football matches.The owners are two Galicians, they cook themselves, and very well, there is a lack of good olive oil on the table, but you cannot forget that you are in the Bronx of New York.I have been several times, and each time I have eaten very well, and I have been well served.You can go and enjoy good homemade Spanish food in New York.

We have been looking for a Spanish place where we can get rid of cravings from the other side of the ocean, and this has done it. Galician-style octopus and featured bravas potatoes. We finished with a very soft Santiago tart. Mention the fair price of Galicias star wines and beer! Its worth taking the metro to come!

Excellent place, it doesnt seem to be in the area it is located. Its super relaxing. The food is good and so is the service. The only suggestion would be to have more comfortable seats.

There is not much variety of food, the atmosphere is good but there is no place to give celebration surprises, I didnt like that. I went to celebrate my first year anniversary and I couldnt give the surprise because they didnt do that there. Thats what I liked. Im quite disappointed.
