Excellent coffee, great service and atmosphere! The avocado toast was perfectly seasoned and delicious! I’m glad I discovered this place and plan to be a regular.9/21/22 I have become a regular at Dell’Aria since my initial post four months ago and the place never disappoints. I tried the oatmilk latte lavender gelato today and it’s absolutely DELICIOUS! If packaged and sold, I have no doubt that it would be a national hit! A+

Amazing cafe and lovely atmosphere! Matcha tastes so smooth, earthy, and delicious. Bonus points for the pretty latte art as well. Great study spot — very spacious, quiet, and comfortable. Service is quick, friendly, and attentive as well!

I went in to check if there were any gluten free bagels in stock, seeing as the last time I passed by they had run out…And I was happy to see that they were in stock today! It’s so hard to find places in El Barrio that carry gluten free items, but now I know I can count on Dell’Aria for delicious gluten free options! And of course I got my cream cheese bagel with a perfect cup of iced coffee with oat milk! All of this was made even better with Emily and her sunshine smile, who filled my order super fast! Thanks Emily, you were AMAZING!! I will be returning again and again!!

The warm food here is good, but the coffee, espresso, baked goods, and gelato are all 10/10 fantastic. The staff is super friendly and goes above and beyond in terms of service. The atmosphere, outdoor seating, and free Wifi are added bonuses. My only suggestion to the business would be to update the menu online as there are items Ive found to be indefinitely out of stock that are still listed as available.

A hidden gem of a cafe. The coffee was delicious and they offered a variety of pastries. There’s a lot of seating available but when we visited on a rainy day it was packed! Highly recommend!

I come here for coffee daily and highly recommend it. There’s a lot to love about the place, including the friendly community and consistently good, house-roasted coffee. Not to mention, there’s a decent amount of seating and the WiFi is serviceable.

Ive been going here for quite a while and have always had a lovely experience. The coffee is consistently good, every time, which I appreciate. They do seem a bit short staffed at times, however, the owner and staff are always kind and welcoming, and the space is comfortable and cozy.

Love this place. Found it online and all the good reviews are true. It’s beautiful, open and airy, with excellent drinks and pastries. And Brazilian jazz playing! (Couldn’t try the kitchen food because it doesn’t open until 9:30 am.)

I love this cafe’, it has a great atmosphere and the coffee and food is excellent. It has a comfortable sitting area in an open space overlooking the roasting area, very cool.

Its not often you have an experience so wonderful that it compells you to change your habits. Ive been attending the same few coffee shops since Ive moved to NYC. Upon visiting DellAria for the first time, Im already convinced its my new spot. I know Ill be coming back frequently.DellAria has one of the most pleasant and inviting atmospheres Ive ever enjoyed in a coffee shop. It was busy without being chaos, lively without being overly loud, and amazing quality without it being expensive.Youll be hard pressed to have a better coffee experience in East Harlem, or even the rest of NYC for that matter. Im already planning my next visit.

Excellent Italian espresso drinks and light fare in a beautiful, airy setting. The coffee beans are roasted at the back of the house. The high ceilings, skylight and rolling glass doors let tons of light in. They serve wine in the evenings and theres outdoor seating too!

This coffee shop is very cute and has very adorable interior features. The staff was very nice and if you need a place to study or work all day with amazing drinks then I would highly recommend this place.

This might be our new spot! The first time we went we just ate the brunch. It was a hit, we also just loved the design of the space- its so beautiful. We returned the following weekend, and also had the coffee- perfection! So good.

Im almost reluctant to make this review selfishly because Id like this, my favorite coffee place, to be a closely guarded secret. But I must give them their due. Great coffee, good food too. Great atmosphere with plenty of seating (plenty of variety in the kind of seating too) and high ceilings that give a sense of abundant space so rare in the city.

I’ve been there three times. The first time was cool I was with a group of friends the second time I went there to work and they took 40 minutes to deliver my food to my table and then when they delivered it, it was wrong. The next time I went I asked the staff what do they recommend it was a focaccia which tasted gross I ended up having to send it back and I really feel bad when I have to send food back. Out of the three times I’ve been there. All the food was good one time. I don’t think I will be returning. It is a great place to sit and work though but the food is horrid. The coffee is good so if you wanna just have coffee, you should.

I like the café itself, its beautifully done and has a nice, open atmosphere. The staff has also been very friendly each time Ive gone. I think they could do better with their food options, as they dont have many. They also could do better with how they prepare the food for customers that are dining in. Each time Ive had a quiché that theyve heated, its still cold, even when I mention it and they heat it for longer.

I am visiting a friend who lives in the neighborhood. We came to DellAria 2 days in a row since we really enjoyed our first visit. I got a breakfast sandwich (very filling) and coffee both times was a hit. Relaxing ambience & open space - perfect to sit back or get some work done. Highly recommend!

Delicious coffee in east Harlem. This place has a nice selection of pastries and espresso drinks. I had a cappuccino brewed with their Italian roast coffee and it was very tasty. The atmosphere is nice and the service is attentive.

I came twice and tried their salad, croissant, coffee, and gelato. Only coffee works for me.. also the prices here were slightly higher in general.I had a latte. Classic. With the beet salad which the beet was super crunchy and hard. The cheese was also not a lot in it.The croissant was soft. Not flaky or crispy.The gelato was not creamy enough, a little bit icy. But the flavor was good.

Barista knows their crafts, and it is a reason enough to try.Additionally, the atmosphere is calming and perfect for working, enough room to sit, power sockets available, decorations are styled well, the restroom is clean, and the service is top-notch. It s a new gem in Harlem: you can find different kind of good quality coffee, food specialties and flawless service. You can immediately feel the Italian touch of the owner and the warm environment. You can either stop by for a standup coffee or enjoy relaxed breakfast with family or friends. It s also a good option for lunch break. Highly recommended.The price is aligned with the market.Returning customers remember to try the Sicilian coffee with almond milk directly in the Italian moka.Next time I will try the gelato! Friendly and competent staff, excellent coffee and atmosphere. Every staff member has been courteous and willing to go the extra mile to make sure everything is right. I’ve been disappointed with other coffee establishments around town - poor quality, apathetic staff, etc. Dell’Aria is a breath of fresh air!

This is hands down the best coffee I have ever had. Every single drink they make is delicious- it’s insane. They are also so kind and accommodating no matter how busy they are. It’s worth the travel to Harlem if u don’t live around here. They let u bring ur dog in, they have dog treats, AMAZING FOOD, and you can work here for hours! 10/10 would recommend!

I stopped by last week and the customer service was a 10/10! The owner made sure I was taken care of and satisfied with my order. The coffee was yummy, and the ambiance was nice. I’m looking forward to coming here often!

Ordered an arugula salad with beets, chicken and goat cheese but came without beets. Would have been helpful to know they were out of beets before ordering. Substituted carrots, which if they had bothered to ask would know I can’t eat.

This place is adorable! I spotted it on a late night walk and knew I wanted to head back for some coffee and treats. I ordered a matcha and it was good but very strong. I also got an apricot croissant that was delicious. I was hesitant bc of how dark the croissants were but they were INCREDIBLE.

A true Italian coffee experience in Harlem, I went there a couple of times, I tried the Moca Sicilian Coffee and the Americano both super Delicious!! The staff is very friendly and I think the ambience is perfect either for working or relaxing while having a coffee with a friend.

The atmosphere is just right, whether youre looking to catch up with friends or settle down for some work with their reliable wifi.Just a small note - a few tables could use some leveling as they tend to wobble a bit. Overpriced especially for the neighborhood but it’s the only dog friendly cafe near my apt. Normally the coffee is half decent but today I think they served me expired almond milk in my latte or something. It tasted terrible! Like I said this is unusual but for $9/coffee I expect more. You are definitely paying for the decoration here.Edit after response: Lg nondairy latte + flavor I was charged $8.17 so just under $9.UPDATE: I gave them another try since my usual place was closed and received the worst mocha I’ve ever had. I considered saying something to the barista but what do you even say? This is terrible, try again? And again close to $9 wasted. Can we please get another decent coffee shop in the area? Its a fancy place for its location, but its usually busy! There is coffee (and related drinks), pastries, and even food. I went around 11am on a Sunday, and it was crowded and I wasnt sure I could even get a table at first. Theres WiFi and I know people who go there to do work. Ive only ever gotten coffee there, but Ive enjoyed it every time! Also, my friend got a matcha latte, which I didnt see on the menu, so in case it indeed for some reason isnt on the menu, just know that its available! The atmosphere is quaint and its not too loud to have a conversation, but not too quiet to feel awkward having a conversation. The place did seem understaffed a bit at my last visit, but it wasnt too much of an issue. Theyre pet friendly - there was a big handsome pup hanging out next to my table. The prices match the fanciness, so for me personally its more of a special occasion thing.Update: on my most recent visit, there were no seats, but the barista showed us a table in the back away from the actual seating area, which was much appreciated!

My favorite coffee store! , good quality, great staff, clean, comfortable. Its so comfortable that my only suggestion would be to have some way of ordering from your chair, I normally go to read and end up having more than one thing or more than one coffe, sometimes dont want to do the line again.

I rarely write Google reviews, but DellAria deserves a glowing comment. I have visited this lovely café four times, and each time I am greeted with a warm welcome. The coffee here is exceptional, and they truly know how to make a perfect light ice latte. They use less ice, which prevents dilution and preserves the delicious flavors. I could spend the whole day studying and working here. They provide Wi-Fi and outlets, which is incredibly convenient. Lastly, their quiche and burger are must-tries that you wont regret.I highly recommend DellAria to anyone looking for a welcoming atmosphere, great coffee, and delicious food. Its the perfect place to relax or be productive. Thank you to the DellAria staff for always making my visits enjoyable!

Dont come here if you want a quiet place to work. the clientele are consistently rowdy and aggressive. Really brings the worst out of the neighborhood.

Excellent Italian coffee house in Harlem. Worth a visit if you are in the area. Best for espresso drinks. However, I got a bag of single origin Costa Rican coffee that is nice and smooth in my pour over set up. The baked goods were fresh and I had an exceptional chocolate cake. Parking was easy on a Friday morning.

A beautiful cafe with lots of seating inside. The croissant was delicious, fluffy, crispy and had a light touch of sweetness on the outside. The cappuccino was good, but didnt stand out as anything special. Id return here to meet up with a friend or have a work session.

What an incredible espresso spot!! The baristas were so kind, knowledgeable, and generous with tastings and treats! The espresso machine was dialed in to perfection and the roasts are high quality They even had a dairy-free gelato option that was the *strawberry* on top! (: Would go again!

Just found this coffee shop after dear mamas closed . It has a classic coffee shop vibe and beautiful interior. I have not tried to much of the food yet but everything seems to be made in house. The coffee is delicious and definitely worth of saying its Italian as it has the vibe. Will be frequently this space further due to them having very nice staff and baristas that make it feel prt of the neighborhood.

I lived in East Harlem for 8 months and Im a foreigner. Used to small Parisian cafes, I found a haven of peace here. A few hours suspended to work or chat with friends over a good coffee or a good Italian pastry. The manager, an Italian who also speaks French, is adorable, as are all the employees.
