Good food, nice service. We stopped in for a late lunch and enjoyed a quiet visit. It was a nice break during our stay at a nearby hotel. Authentic menu options.
Every bite was tasteful and deliciously served, but falafels which taste meat (Did they call it fake meat?)I am a vegetarian for a reason, so I couldn’t tolerate the taste of meat. The chocolate fondue as a desert, was absolutely delicious.Ice cream-peach, was ok, not really recommended.
Great Vibes!Everyone was super attentive, entertaining, accommodating, and just seemed genuinely happy to be working there. The menu had many options and the food was delicious! I must revisit! Thank you for heightening my evening.
Went to Kashkaval Garden April 27, 2024 and had a good time and enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Overall, would rate it and the experience (4.5 out of 5).—————-Cozy restaurant with a good relaxed vibe. Ordered some tapas & meze (pick 4) got Hummus, Tzatziki, olive tapenade, and Harissa. A chicken skewer and classic fondue.Pick 4 notes: served with warm pitas that were fresh and tasty. Nice presentation, great for sharing. 1) Hummus was (4.8 out of 5) good, fresh, tasty, 2) Olive tapenade deep relish serving in the photo stole the show and we thought it was outstanding (5 out of 5) 3) Tzatziki (4.8 out of 5) nice consistency and tasty cucumbers were diced into small cubes which I liked and provided some extra texture and crunch 4) Harissa (2 out of 5) menu said home made and at least for my taste it was disappointing. It was served in a ramekin and was watery more like a soup, lacked taste, and had no spice or kick. If you enjoy thick, tasty, spicy Harissa steer clear of this.Classic Fondue was excellent (4.8 out of 5) served in cast iron - tasty and fun to share.Skewer (4 out of 5) chicken was seasoned well with a good savory spice combination. Ours skewer was a bit over cooked and slightly dry - but enjoyable. Rice was done well and while the vegetables were excellent.Shared a bottle of wine over the meal and had a very good time.Server was very attentive and very helpful. Really enjoyed this restaurant overall and look forward to visiting it again.
Was hankering for Mediterranean food and saw this place was well rated. I can definitely see why. I ordered tapas with my choice of baba ganoush, walnut and pepper spread, beet skordalia, and stuffed grape leaves. Also order the 2 skewers special with kofta and chicken. Everything tasted spot-on authentic!. I dont have much credibility with authenticity. But really seemed authentic! lol. Everything tasted so so good. I ordered way too much food, but I got a good sampling of what they offer and the quality theyre serving. The service was fast and really really friendly. Atmosphere was tight, but hip and cool inside. There was no problem getting a table for one around 8:00 p.m. on a Wednesday. Highly recommend!. Willl most certainly return.
We had great food, our server was engaging and knowledgeable. There were lots of different groups of people there, families, couples, and friends; a real neighborhood friendly feel. The pricing was super reasonable. Just over $100 for two, including drinks and tip.
I really wanted to like the food much better than I did. Appetizers were nice but the chicken skewers and falafel were inedible. Extremely dry and oddly seasoned.
If youre in the area, YOU SHOULD DINE HERE!I love writing great reviews, and this is a fun one.😁👍1 - The staff was excellent with compensating our party of 4 + 2 kids.2 - The food was outstanding!2a - If youre a fan of octopus, get the skewer. I love octopus and almost order it wherever its served, and this place, hands down, blows all the other places away with texture and taste! The marinade was so unique, Im begging for the secret! We also had Lamb Kofta, and those were so meaty and flavorful. layers of flavor that wouldnt stop. More, please!2b - The flatbread was almost like a healthy and tasty dessert. I would suggest ordering extra to bring back to your room/rental for a midnight snack or breakfast. (We did!)2c - The tapas and dips were incredible. We had the hummus, which was amazing. My favorites were the spinach and olive tapenade versions, but they were all super tasty lick the plate good.2d - The small cups in my pictures are for the fondue to dip. In my honest opinion, fondue is not my favorite thing, however, this was awesome! There are several flavors of dips, and all are fun to try. If you get the fondue, be sure to ask for the dipping side. Youll wonder why other places that serve fondue dont offer the dipping option. true story.2e - Those stuffed peppers (peppadews) were another game changer. I beg for the recipe... please! The creaminess of the cheese offset the bite of the tangy spice that just made for amazing delicious treats.3 - In summary, we ordered a lot of food, and I cant remember everything, however, everything was well worth the price and experience.I promise, Kashkaval Garden, the next time this southern GA boy (and gal) returns to NYC, WE WILL BE BACK TO KG!
Very tasty Mediterranean style food. The KG sampler is my fave snack. Great atmosphere. Very warm and inviting. The back room is gardenesque and I love hanging out back there and getting work done whilst dining.Patrick at the bar is very nice.
Cute spot with nice fondue and Mediterranean dip options. As a vegetarian there were many items for selection. Food was served quick and the fondue was fun. We had the classic which was good - a bit sour/bitter and got roasted potatoes for dipping. We went on a Monday night and the restaurant was quite busy and a bit too loud - had a hard time hearing my friends at some points. Overall would probably be back to try some other fondue flavours - maybe in the warmer seasons so we can sit on the patio
Great Mediterranean food. The samples platter was very good and so did the kofte skewers with the bulgur side. The atmosphere is great. The only reason this place gets 4 and not 5 starts is that we had to wait more than 35 minutes to get the food. The sampler dish is really easy and fast to prepare and should have arrived sooner. I know theres a manpower problem in the food industry so I wont hold this against them, but they did expand the place to contain outdoor seating so they have more tables to serve with the same capacity, which just doesnt work. Bottom line, Id give them a try because the food and atmosphere are good.
Service was excellent, i had the fondue and it was good, menu is more for sharing dishes than individual main plates. Try the grilled halloumi, it’s delicious
Everything was just perfect!A restaurant in an excellent location, personal and kind treatment and food at a very high standard, simply everything we ordered was delicious! All the staff members are nice and helpful and the place is stunning in its beauty beyond its fascinating story!Every time Ill come to New York I will definitely go to the Kashkaval Garden 🥇
We have such a dearth of fondue restaurants in NYC (I know, right?) that I think peoples expectations are just lowered. Kashkaval aint all that.Im tired so Ill keep this short. The Truffle Fondue lacked truffle flavor. The Assorted Veg & Fruit plate and Charcuterie plates both came with grapes, which was annoying, and cauliflower/broccoli that was way too big. Plus, the meat selection (roasted kielbasa, loukaniko and soujouk) left a lot to be desired (too similar and chewy). And dont bother with drinks--watered down nonsense.
Great neighborhood spot. The service is always excellent. We either go for the fondu or order a bunch of small plates (love the Peppadews and Mini Boreks). While the fondu is a really fun experience, Ive found that almost every time weve gotten it the baguette pieces are super stale and chewy. I get they probably cut up all the bread early in the night but I wouldnt mind getting an uncut loaf and having to tear it up myself if it meant a much fresher loaf.
Came for the fondue but the skewers saved the day. The beef skewers with the mushroom bulgur and veggies was really good.Fondue was meh - cheddar & cider cheese with caramelized onions was too sweet to enjoy with the bread. Tasted ok with the fruit & veggies - grapes, apple slices, cauliflower, broccoli, mushroom (mushrooms not great with the cheese)Service was a lil patronizing- asking how the fondue menu worked I could see the internal eye roll of the server who explained it like he was talking to a couple of toddlers.
Food is delicious and the bar guys are very friendly. We would love to come here again. Try their skewers and cold mezze for sure.
Great restaurant, kind of narrow in the front with a big bar in the middle and then there’s more seating in the back. They also have limited seating out on the sidewalk in front of the restaurant. The drinks were great and the food is good; you can mix-and-match as well. my server, I think his name was Shawn was extremely nice. It was a great experience.
Overall, my experience at this restaurant was decent. The tapas sampler platter was okay, but I would probably opt for something else next time. The atmosphere was nice and cozy, but I was a bit disappointed that we couldnt get a window seat even though the restaurant was close to closing and not very busy.I understand the need to accommodate potential rush after we sat down, but as a former server myself, I would have tried to make the customer happy if possible. Despite this small hiccup, I still had a great experience and would consider returning in the future to try out some other menu items.
The only reason Im giving KG 3 stars is blatant price gouging. A meal we used to have as regulars pre pandemic has almost doubled $18 for a small octopus skewer that used to cost between $8-$10 before is blatant taking advantage. The portions are about half the size and cost double the price. Itll be a once a year treat vs twice a month like before. Too many places nearby like Westville where the portions are much bigger and the prices much lower and the servers for the most part go out of their way to make sure youre happy. Sadly I will no longer be recommending it. Again once or twice a year its a treat but no more as a regular. Do t like feeling taken advantage of.
Great veg Mediterranean foods. We order autumn harvest grain bowl (tasty dressing) , sampler tapas: walnut pepper spread is so tasty and delicious, beet skordalia is quiet good too, and lentil soup. The spread is perfect dip for a warm pita bread.Definitely we are going back to try the kebabs next time. This place is highly recommended for veg lover and meat eater. A perfect rendezvous spot
Went here after a show. Very cozy ambience. Great food and attentive service. We did the pre-fixe for two plus tapas and skewers and it was a lot! (It includes a choice of red or white wine bottle!) Cant wait to come back again 😁
This is a small but really nice restaurant in Hells Kitchen - we really enjoyed the cocktails and the chicken skewers. The place has a very casual and easy going vibe - would recommend this place if youre looking for a nice Mediterranean meal in Hells Kitchen
Came for a early dinner. Had a couple drinks and a kale salad. Also had the fondue which is a must have!! The environment is nice and the food is one of my favorites in the city. Service was great! Would totally recommend to come for a meal and drinks.
We had s very good meal here. Loved the Mediterranean plate with tasty eggplant that was delicious (you can taste the fire roasted eggplant). The lamb kufte was great. The tzaztiki was outstanding (fresh and creamy). Kids and adults loved it. The sudjuk is not home made, unfortunately. The forks are a bit off kilter.
This place went down hill with their bad service and lots of rude behavior from their employees. We have been coming to this place for 12 years and it used to be a very good place. Not great but good neighborhood place. Last two times it feels different. Not the same level of service quality starting with their bartenders and wait staff. Oh well. Hells Kitchen has much better places!
A pretty crammed place but worth the chumming up to the table beside you. Service was very quick and helpful even though they were pretty slammed. Our table ordered the fondue app which was fun. I wanted to order a veggie plate but they didnt have one. Ive never been to a Mediterranean restaurant that didnt however, the staff was able to put something together for me and they did a stand up job (no pun intended in reference to the cramped seating).
Wish theyd told us we were over-ordering. We had the classic cheese fondue and liked it - worth trying it if you havent, although we decided we probably wouldnt have it again. Their mezze is always good - particularly liked the walnut pepper spread.
Quality of the food is consistent over the years. This is my favorite spot to share mezze with friends. The portions are large so we always leave with leftovers. The back room is more spacious, though it can get rowdy/loud with the larger tables.5 - Would go out of the way to revisit.
Came here for dinner on a Saturday night. We made reservations in advance, but the place was at about 70% capacity at 8pm, so we could have just walked in. The food was good and reasonably priced and I liked the chill vibe of the place.
Amazing Mediterranean tapas! The food is great. I’ve been coming here for years, pre & post pandemic. Cute outdoor space & the indoors is well decorated as well.
Visiting NYC with my teens, we chose this restaurant on a Friday night. Made a reservation a couple of hours in advance. The ambiance is cozy and relaxing, tucked away. Our server was probably overworked like everyone else is, but did a fine job making sure we had everything we needed. We ordered the tapas skewers (chicken and lamb) and a cheese fondue (that was surprising for a Mediterranean place?) The lamb was very tender- all was very good and I’d say reasonably priced.
Such a wonderful spot. The food is delicious, the staff are all so nice and the music is on point. Highly recommend
This place was great. The hostess was extremely pleasant and hospitable to our group of 5, including my elderly aunt. We were sat at a table in the back, but it took quite some time for our waiter to visit our table. I was not sure he completely cared at all to take our drink order, skipped over part of our group when asking what we wanted to drink, and had a bit of an attitude when I asked if they had tea. He answered me in a tone of are you stupid? I asked him to bring sweetener with the tea and of course he didnt, and it took another 10 minutes for him to come by again before I was able to get sweetener. The tea was delicious though, as was the food. Very happy with the quality of food, atmosphere and cleanliness, just wasnt a fan of our waiter.
Hands down, the best Mediterranean food Ive ever had. Its easy to miss because of the small storefront, but it is worth it. We ordered the Meze sampler with hummus, tabouleh, Walnut and black pepper, and babaganoush with pita. All of them were amazing. We also ordered fondue and chicken and lamb kabobs. It was so good. Atmosphere was cozy and quiet.
Awesome food, large portions, and super nice staff.(Sampler, truffle fondue with veggies, chicken skewer)
Great food. Get the skewers and the sampler plate. Service was also great! 10/10
9/15/24 first time here. Good happy hour here. Sat at the bar, we had fun. Good eats!
Had dinner tonight with my boyfriend and my father! We had an amazing time. Our table was all the way in the back in the closed off “garden” the vibe was on point, food was truly delicious, waiter was so nice and didn’t rush us at all. Attentive but also gave us space and time to chill. Def get the fondue! We got the classic and it was amazing. Also the artichoke gratin. Chefs kiss. So happy they had mocktails too as I don’t drink anymore. We will be back!
Great experience overall. Food was good but hummus was average. The kefta was little undercooked.
EDIT: had the classic fondue and this one was solid, very good cheese. Also have how the bar guy is very thorough in making sure the glasses are clean.Had the cheese fondue today. They have 3 types, i took the Kashkaval one as recommended by the waiter. It was meh, not bad, but not the one Im looking for everywhere since I had it in Switzerland. Disappointed but not upset. Maybe Ill give the other types a shot sometime.Price is okay, within the market range.A big plus is that you can eat for only 1 person unlike other fondue places that require 2 people at minimum. The vibe was pretty good tho, nice place.
Love the healthy Mediterranean food offered in the restaurant. Good vibe for casual dining.
The food was pretty good, however the service was very slow.I didnt also like how the tables were very close to each other.
We had the 4 tapas sampler and the portion sizes were great. Everything was delicious. We also took advantage of the Happy Hour drink specials! Very happy we chose this restaurant.
Great food, great ambiance! We got the tapas with 5 toppings and it was way more than we could eat for dinner. 2-3 would be been enough for a shareable app for 4-6 people. Would go back again to try some of their hot main entrees.
My husband and I got married at City Hall and then had a small, intimate dinner for 11 afterwards at Kashkaval Garden. Leading up to the event, Jeremy was extremely responsive and helpful, answering all of our questions and being incredibly accommodating! On the night of the event, the space was beautiful, the food and drinks were delicious, and the staff, led by Hayden were simply amazing - kind, efficient, and overall incredibly helpful. Our night could not have gone better, and I would definitely suggest Kashkaval Garden for your next event! Thank you all so much!
Had my birthday party here. Absolutely loved this place! We were a big party on Saturday night so we preordered, the manager was so helpful, answered all kinds of questions and helped us prepare. Staffs were great! Everyone was so nice and attentive. Tasty foods! I tried kofte and octopus, both so juicy and tender! Also love the vibe there. This is definitely the place for a memorable night. 💖
Some of the best arayas I’ve had at a restaurant! Great service, great food, great atmosphere.
Everything was great except the service was a bit slow. We appreciated that we were not rushed but it often took a very long time for the server to check on us.
My second time here and I really enjoyed it just like the first time I came here. Food was really good. My favorite is the octopus because it cooked to perfection. Staff was great. Came here for my birthday and we were satisfied with everything.
Such great food - HOWEVER - we disclosed that we had a nut allergy and the server didn’t give us the grape leaves we asked for and literally gave us the walnut pepper spread 😭 huge miss and luckily we noticed so our friend didn’t go into anaphylactic shock
The server and host were very friendly and easy to talk to. The food was really really really good. We weren’t disappointed at all. Will visit again
Food absolutely delicious! Healthy and super tasty. Variety of spreads, some recipes I been brought home. Also I like that you can add to your salad any protein - meat, fish, octopus. So I had I believe the best octopus option in the city - salad with grilled octopus, extremely tasty and satisfying.Cozy atmosphere for family dinner, friendly serviceHighly recommended, better to do reservations
Although the menu is not very varied, the food is fresh and delicious. Service was great. The ambiance is cozy in the back/garden room. Prices acceptable. Highly recommended, especially for a small group or a couple.
5 out of 5*!We ate outside on a lovely fall day and all around was an excellent experience!Food gave home made impressions and the flavors were outstandingHighly recommend for every aspect of!We will definitely come back, thank you! Also - see pics for some of the dishes that we loved
Very nice place and people are extremely friendly! The lentil soup is amazing and the food overall was super tasty.
Nice back room and really value portions; split the salads, it’s a large bowl and the octopus portion was also giant and tender. Nice lamb kofta, tons of drinks and we didn’t get fondue but next time. Wish the music was in back as well as in front.
Perfect place for some healthy, tasty food. The ambience is also pretty cozy.
Delicious food with a great atmosphere. Cocktails are super great!! Highly recommend! Happy hour until 7 pm, I believe on weekdays?
First impressions are interesting. It’s quite compact, to the point that we had to sit at the “chef’s bar.” But the service was top-notch, and the “Garden Poutine” was absolutely to die for. Just wow. The fondue and tapas are just a bonus. Try the Garden Poutine, you must.
No help from server on suggestions for popular selections on the menu. It was mt first time there. The fondue pricing is strange. Its per person sharing. I only wanted it for 1 person and they billed for 2. Anyway the food was not very flavorful.
Ive been coming to Kashkaval at least quarterly for the past year and a half for their prix fixe meal. It is one of my favorites in the City with a kale salad that I dream about, but I feel like every time Ive come there has been less and less included. This includes the price going up on weekends, no more included dippings, and now everything but bread for the fondue (apples/sausage/veggies) now requiring an additional purchase. Its still really good, but not the excellent value that it was before. Have always had excellent service - until this last time, which was actually much less busy than usual. Hopefully the downhill slope has leveled off!
Cozy place for good middle eastern food in Hells kitchen. Their dips, homemade pita and chicken kababs/skewers were all great.
Really amazing food, great service, lovely atmosphere. Im def coming back
We had a truly amazing experience here last night from every single bite of food we ate to cocktails and wine (yes, we indulged). Service was spectacular and we had the best seat in the house. We may go back again tonight! Do not miss the grape leaf wrapped salmon. Trust me! Cheese fondue was superb w veggies/fruit. Lamb kabob delicious w the yogurt sauce. Even the sides were extraordinary. Everything was spectacular.
Loved the Mediterranean cuisine at Kashkaval Garden! The food is consistently delicious, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. The cheese fondue is a must-try. Perfect spot for a cozy dinner!
Amazing Middle Eastern food. Everything on the menu is excellent. A feast of flavors. Attentive staff and great service overall. Good portions and prices. Nice dining space in the back but it’s not really an outdoors space as advertised when trying to reserve a table.
Absolutely love this place! Amazing food, great cocktails, and fantastic service. Manager Jeremy & entire staff make you feel so welcome! Cant wait to come back.
Amazing food! Great service. Good happy hour
Great experience. The restaurant has a nice feel, the food was delicious and the service was fantastic. Would recommend, would go again.
Intimate spot with solid service which we got to try out while on a Hells Kitchen food walking tour. Only tried small plates, but they were tasty and my beer ice cold. Nice stop on the tour for sure.
The fondue at this place is incredible! We got the Gruyère truffle fondue and loved it. The fondue comes with bread pieces for dipping. I’d recommend getting sausage or potatoes to also dip in the cheese for some variety. The Kofte (lamb) and chicken skewers were good too, especially if you like Lamb. The chocolate fondue for dessert was a sweet ending to the meal. Outside of the fondue, the Mediterranean dishes were okay, nothing incredible. Come for the fondue, friendly service, cozy/warm atmosphere, and you won’t be disappointed!
Got the platter, hummus, labne, baba ganoush and dolma (stuffed grape leaves). Comes with 4 pitas. All 4 tasted average I would say.For the main got the chicken and salmon skewers with a mix of mushroom bulgur and seasonal caponato as sides. The sides and chicken tasted okay, the salmon skewers was really nice.Overall a decent place but nothing out of the box, have had better for sure.
Our party of three loved everything we tried here. My MIL loved the tapas sampler. The lamb and chicken skewers were delicious. My husband loved the gingery margarita. Great, quick service.
Everything was superb. The chicken skewers were really tender & juicy and the octopus skewers melted like butter. The tapas did not lead us astray and paired really well with the bread. The service was so attentive & friendly; helped turned around what was an otherwise awful day. The music was light touch so not too overwhelming of the conversations.
We had an amazing dinner at this little gem. So glad we found it.
Great food and a romantic candle lit atmosphere! We shared the large tapas sampler - which is a great choice for dinner for two - babaganoush, labne, hummus, grape leaves, were some of the items we had. The labne was especially good! Pita bread was warm and fresh. Our server was excellent. They also had a small indoor bar.
I didn’t have high expectations but I was happily surprised by the food. It’s very tasty, very good. Had the tasting menu for $39 which is a good deal with plenty of food. I loved all the appetizers and the fondue was original. The baklava is sublime!
The beets were amazing. So too were the octopus skewers and the salmon wrapped in grape leaves. I didnt care much for the spinach and feta as it was too salty but the other dishes made up for it. The service was a bit slow but server was friendly and helpful. And the food was so tasty!
I really enjoy the happy hour here, the food is very tasty, Im only dinging because for some reason the decor (atmosphere) just feels a bit stilted to me. But Ill keep coming back every couple of weeks!
The food took forever and came out cold. The kitchen forgot to send plates order. Worst wine by the glass. Reservation was made and then they did not check the number of guests so did not have space for all the guests to sit together. Microwave food.
A nice bar. A good array of wines too. Even had Pumpkin Beer on the tap
Delicious. Came here on a Hells kitchen walking food tour and 6 definitely be back.
Was looking for cheese fondue in the city and came across this location near Columbus CirclePricing pretty reasonable for NYC and food options are available for vegetarians too (other group member was vegetarian)Plenty of wine pairings if thats your interestBack sunroom dining area has sunroofs which are unique for somewhere in the cityClean bathrooms
OMG. What an amazing place. My new favorite place in all of New York. The place is amazing and so is the staff. Props to Gretchen. Love Gretchen. I will be coming here regularly. You must come and check this place out.
Went there with my family and couldn’t have been more delighted. The setting is casual but The service is is very professional and attentive. The food was excellent! We were a pretty big group and ordered pretty everything and each one was great. I particularly loved the artichoke hummus and the lamb kebabs. Huge portions, and the “ratatouille” that came as a side with the kebab was delicious. What a great find!
I recommend this place! We discovered it just by utter luck. It is a Turkish restaurant but you only get a subtle hint of the Turkish flare. The items are rather original and very creative. They had the happy hour when we first arrived and I got $7 wine! Yey! It was delicious. The waiter recommended the appetizer (4 items for $20) and it was fantastic! I really liked the beet dish; super original. We ordered the “sigara borek” but they never got delivered. I am not sure if they put it on our bill (I should have checked probably). But we were so full already that I did not want to make a fuss for more food.My son ordered the chicken and they made it “less spicy” for him. We got the octopus, kofte, and the impossible kofte. They all were very good. In fact, it was too much food :) I really appreciated how they accommodated our 9 year old son’s request to have the spices off his chicken.Overall, cute little place with a very nice atmosphere. The waiters were super friendly and helpful. Service was quick. Everything tasted delicious and the price was very reasonable.
I honestly have no idea how this place has good reviews. We were a party of 4 looking for an easy lunch spot. I’ll start with the food- we ordered the dip platter and the hummus is probably the worst I’ve ever had in my life. We asked for some olive oil to add some flavor since it was a dry blob and our server brought us vegetable oil. The pita bread was dried up reheated grocery store pita pockets. Then, we asked for salt and she brought us a salt shaker that was covered in a brown sticky tar type liquid.. I ordered the same order as someone else in our party which was a salad with a protein and instead of apologizing for forgetting to put the order in, the server blamed it on the kitchen forgetting and said she would prioritize it as the next order. I kept watching other patrons in the restaurant get their orders and by the time my table finished their meal- she said that they were plating my food, 10 minutes later, still nothing - I told her it was a bit late and maybe it’s better if they cancel it. A typical server would have said something like, we’ll take it off the bill but still bring your food so you have something to eat and instead she said ok we will cancel it with an attitude and walked away. Then, as for the service - it was pretty evident our server was new and continued her attitude throughout our meal- but we didn’t really bite much on it initially. She also had no idea what was on the menu and she didn’t even know if they had Tito’s behind the bar, she kept going back to check and coming back 5 mins later. When she brought the bill, she ended up charging us for drinks that we ordered but the restaurant they didn’t end up having and when we asked her why it was on the bill- she said that she didn’t know how to take it off the bill. A bit strange that we had to call that out, otherwise- she just wanted to charge us? I guess hoping we didn’t notice. It took another 15 minutes to get it resolved. We were getting a bit impatient by that point as we had a train to catch, and our waitress and another waiter just kept rolling their eyes and telling us to wait and then asked if we were threatening them.I’ve truly never experienced such horrible service anywhere in my life- and being a former server myself, I’m appalled. This place needs to get rid of their entire waitstaff. They were extremely unprofessional.
We stopped by to have a couple glasses of wine and ended stuffing our faces. Fondue and mediterranean food, yum. Probably one of the best mediterranean restaurant Ive had the chance to try. The food was really fresh and the restaurant atmosphere is calm and quaint. I liked it a lot.
I had the heirloom salad lunch special with the lamb skewer. So delicious 😋 salad dressing was so fresh and flavorful. The feta cheese (imported from Bulgaria) was the best feta cheese Ive ever had. The skewer was also wonderful dipped in tzaziki and the spicy red sauce. Excellent service. Been here many times and its always so good!
We only had the cheese fondue there, and it was very disappointing since it wasn’t made from fresh cheese, but from one of those prepared packages. Not bad but not special at all. Veggie and fruit plate was very poor, and the meat plate overcooked. Not even the baguette was crunchy and fresh, soft and gummy instead. Great service though.
Great atmosphere, great food, fantastic service! It’s one of my favorite places!
This spot was part of Hells Kitchen Food tour. All the samples were flavored and amazing. We had small plates of Tapas.
Their fondue is out of this world! So delicious! We ordered both truffle and classic cheese fondues and they were really good. I would suggest not to order meet as a pairing to fondue, because it the combination of meet and cheese was very salty, thats why the best pairing would be bread, potato or fruits. Also the desserts were little bit dry and we were confused by the fact that the menu says that there is mascarpone cream in the dessert but in reality there was just tiny drop of mascarpone used only as decoration. But overall its a great place and I will definitely come back.
The place its self is nice! The atmosphere feels like you are at home! Really cozy vibe with exposed brick wall! Perfect lightning and amazing food!Me and my Wife ordered the special salmon with pita for lunch, the size was good, the taste was amazing! The only con is its a little bit overpriced, but i guess thats normal for NYC! If you stop by there make sure to try their signature baklava, its so flavourful and delicious!
Been here a few times- good atmosphere, good hummus, good pita. Basics matter! Good staffs. Good harissa. One star down for small menu and may find it hard to eat something if you want more variety in apps.
I decided to eat here based on the outstanding ratings, however, I was not impressed. I think the appeal must be the warm cozy ambiance, and affordable, enticing menu items, but the food itself and the service was average. We had the classic fondue which was okay. They served it with half fresh, half stale (rock hard) bread in our basket which was a complete turn off to me, as I was then imagining they were trying to stretch the bread by serving me left over that was originally on someone elses table. We also had the octopus skewers, which werent bad, however having eaten Octopus all over the world, there was nothing special about it either. So with that said, weve eaten here and left with a been there...done that sort of feeling.
Lovely gem of a wine bar with delicious fondue
Took the family here but this definitely feels more like a quiet date spot. Food was solid but forgettable. Servers demeanor shifted from friendly to snooty after a few questions about the menu. We wont be back.Overall 3Food: 3Value: 3Service: 2Misc: 3
Great food, however the service was almost non existent. It was empty and took about 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge us to seat us, after we sat down it took another 15 minutes for our waiter to come to us, and then when I wanted a second glass of wine she disappeared and my friend went to the bar to get it.Food was great but the service left a lot to be desired.
Tasty fondue spot, the ambience is also really neat, especially in the back room. Definitely a spot I would go back to as a staple great place to eat. Not too expensive either, and great wine selection that you dont see everywhere.
Nice, charming and cozy venue serving mediterranean cuisine. Sharable platters and skewers.
Enjoyed a tasty al fresco meal w/ attentive service from “Sean (sp?). KG is a local favorite and a good choice for visitors.
Amazing place. Can’t wait to come back again.
This place is delicious! They have good happy hour drinks on the menu until 7pm. We got the kale salad and loved it! Never have I had someone make kale taste so amazing. We also liked the chorizo.
Had an amazing time at this restaurant. My friends and I went there for dinner, the food was delicious and the service was great. We ordered four tapas to start, they were very tasty and came with freshly baked pita bread. Then we had the kashkaval cheese fondue and we couldnt stop eating until the whole thing was finished! We also ordered chicken and kofta skewers, which came with rice and vegetables and it was also very delicious. Would definitely recommend this place for a dinner with friends or a date since it has great ambiance.
Im always amazed by the variety of flavors that are possible. We had 6 tapas and the vegetable skewers, which came with two sides and two sauces, and everything--each individual tapa and sauce--had its own distinct spices and subtleties. And they were all supremely delicious. The pita bread came out steaming hot and the service was friendly and efficient. Nice space, good for couple and big groups alike.
Great food, and located within walking distance of Lincoln Center. When we arrived, we were seated right away to a nice table in the back with plenty of space to relax. We ordered wine, beer and cider for drinks and Gruyère fondue. Everything was excellent. The fondue was perfectly done and the service was excellent. I definitely recommend this place. They have other types of fondue including cheddar and cider. You can also order other food options besides fondue. We were easily able to keep our bill under $30 per person and still enjoy the evening.
One the best mediterranean food in Manhattan! The portion was good and everything tasted amazing! The staff was so kind and fun too! We will defiantly go back to try other food.
The food here is absolutely amazing. Did not try the fondue but the apps were great. Got the hummus platter, the sceweres, octopus was delicious.
Good halloumi, chicken skewers just ok and lamb delicious
Nice place , food was great , good service ( even though the waiter feel a little stuck-up) but it didnt bother us lol , the cocktails were really good and consistent, we also had the tapas sample which is great because you can choose 3 of your choice, overall great place , definitely recommended.
Love this quaint spot!! They are open until midnight on TFS so I went after a show. I ordered a martini which was perfectly made along with the KG tasting plate, chicken and kofte skewer and fondue.Everything was delicious! Highly recommend!
Chicken skewers weren’t cooked entirely (we both had to spilt out the meat), and the service was very spotty. We were looking forward to a great meal before the theater. The restaurant does have a cute and romantic vibe though.
4.5 stars.Kashkaval offers wine, fondue, and Mediterranean tapas that are to-die-for.I came here with a group of 4 to celebrate my wifes birthday. Although I had called to make a reservation the day before, the hostess told me over the phone that the smallest reservation that could be made was for 6 people, but that it wouldnt be a problem since we should be able to walk right in at 8:00 pm. I was a bit surprised thinking it would be at the peak time for dinner on a Friday but took her at face value. Well, there was obviously a slight bit of miscommunication as when we arrived (in the midst of a huge rainstorm), the restaurant was packed to the gills. Although we had to wait an hour for our table, the hostess hooked us up with a free bottle of wine and hummus appetizer, which was fabulous and added to the anticipation. When we sat down, our waiter was extremely helpful in providing strategic suggestions for plates to share. Ordering two cheese fondues was perfect for four people, and the bread cubes were homemade sourdough and delicious. The meal highlights were the eggplant (amazing) and brussel sprouts (seriously). My wife adored the chocolate fondue at the end (by that time, I was stuffed and just enjoying my wine). All in all, Kashkaval is now our favorite Mediterranean joint in the city, and we definitely would recommend it as an excellent spot to bring out-of-town guests.
Quite disappointed. I was hunting for lunch and saw this place with high reviews. I went with my colleague. He ordered the skewers which was good, would be better if the meat is cut into smaller pieces. I ordered KG Protein which says made with cheese, potatoes and pork belly. However, I only found one piece of meat in the plate, the rest is all cheese and potatoes.... Everything is pretty salty. I don’t think the quality represents the price. Perhaps we should go for drinks rather than meals.
For the value, and the experience you get...there is no comparison! This was a fun place to go, nice decor, flavorful food, attentive staff, theres nothing to complain about here. I will 💯 be back! Thank you for Ana amazing dinner evening. 🍻
Had an excellent time with an excellent wine. Highly recommend the house fondue and Tapas. Cant wait to return and try the skewers. Saturday night was busy at 7; much more available 8:30/9
We worked with Jeremy to schedule a small private dinner. Everyone was blown away by the incredible food, impeccable service and attention to detail. We cannot recomend Kashkaval Garden enough!
Wahooo I ate Fondue for many years now, and this one was the worst I ever tried... it was a Garlic cheese dish but not a fondue... no white white wine or muscat nuts in it... they sell it to you as a traditional Swiss fondue or a truffle one. No, they are not fondue... I dont know the name of that dish. You should google the recipe to have an idea of what the dish should taste like, then with time twist the recipe to make it your own...I wish you guys the best!
Awesome service -- the wait staff is so kind, courteous, and works really hard. The food is something special, and the drinks are also carefully curated.Love going here for a low key night and a night out with friends.
This is a new find for us. Weve passed by this place like a million times, but always continued to other restaurants in the neighborhood. Our good friend introduced us to this restaurant and now we are hooked. We love the idea of ordering as many of the skewers of kebab as you wish, and pairing it with a salad or a meze. Its all very delicious and the service is always great.
Great and decently priced place.I expected a typical Mediterranean place with decent food. But Kashkaval’s cuisine is a little more exquisite. They also have pretty good options for NYC Restaurant Week. Recommend to check it out.
The food was great! I came here with a friend for dinner and we ordered a variety of small plates to share. My favorite was the roasted cauliflower. They also have great deals for happy wine by the glass.
Great food, friendly service, beautiful atmosphere.
One of the best Mediterranean restaurants I’ve been too. Lunch dishes are a steal and try their cheese and wine. Our server was also knowledgeable on what cheeses go with which wines and even beer. I thought beer was just chugging. I might consider catering from them too for an office party.
A small place with great skewers and fondue. i’d recommend coming with a group and sharing. the chicken skewer was the best, extremely flavorful and tender.we got the truffle fondue and there wasn’t much truffle flavor. but the charcuterie board meats and roast potatoes paired excellently with the cheese. it comes with lots of free baguettes. the bread wasn’t very fresh though.
Wonderful food, fresh, friendly and the best homemade tzatziki EVER!! Btw- their menu also denotes all the items that contain gluten for us which are gluten free. A gem of a restaurant with friendly service.
A lovely place for small plates and fondue. The back room is nicer than the front. It gets really crowded during peak times - go off hours if possible. Service is good except when they are slammed. We found that fondue for 2 was too much fondue for 2. Do fondue for 1 for 2 and do a small plate or 2 and your arteries wont sue you. Lets face it, its not moo shu.
Great spot for a wine and dip platter! Didn’t get a chance to try the fondue but it looked great. Their happy hour is a couple dollars off their drinks before 7pm.
Best mediterranean food in the neighborhood. Very lovely ambience indoors, recommend doing a brunch here. They serve the most tender grilled octopus (must try! ) Super chill experience
On vacation from Wales uk my wife and I had the fondue which was excellent followed by the chocolate torte and the baklava which we enjoyed immensely! Jennifer our server was patient and very friendly and explained everything most clearly and we could not fault her excellent service! Two draft beers and two ciders made for an excellent dinner! Pity we found this place after 7 days however we will return before leaving for home!. Prices reasonable too for us poor brits now also!
Tasty food, wine isnt my fav but the food is healthy and tastes good.
Was a really coze yet cool place to sit in. We sat in the garden room, would have preferred to be by the plants instead of shoved into the corner but what can you do when its booked out.Food was good, service was spot on. No complaints from me.
I wish I could give zero stars. Came on a quiet Sunday while the place was empty. Everyones orders were wrong (4 meals). Charged us for drinks we didnt order. Asked to please remove the items and was verbally attacked instead. Also, not authentic Mediterranean food.
I liked this place. The food was good and it was a friendly atmosphere.
Been here many times with friends and always enjoy the food and the service. This time, with a large, slightly rowdy group, our server, German, was exceptional.
This place was very cute and felt really cozy inside. Food was good but I think skewers generally were a bit dry. We had chicken, lamb, octopus, and filet mignon but they were all tasty but except for octopus, they all felt a bit dry. All the tapas we had were great and portions are really big. I think 1 was enough for 2 people.
Amazing!! Food was delicious and did not disappoint. We went on Sunday dinner time and were able to get a table right away. They have happy hour until 7pm ($10 cocktails, $6 beers and $8 glass of wine). We ordered halloumi for the appetizer. It came in a cute skillet. The cheese was fresh and squeeky and nicely salted. For the meal, we ordered the classic fondue and the truffle fondue. We didn’t order anything extra for dipping. Each one came with a basket of bread which filled us up and was more than enough food. The combination of the two different fondues was perfect for sharing. The classic is very cheese and has a great flavor that’s not too overpowering. The truffle was very flavorful. On its own it might get a little bit too much but combining with the classic and switching between the two was perfect. Definitely coming back next time I’m in NYC!
Best meal we had in NYC
Came into NYC for a Terminal 5 concert and wanted an extended date night with dinner before as it would be my first date with my husband after baby. They made a special exception and reserved a romantic table for us in the back. The food was delicious and the service was attentive. I’ll most definitely go back before another show!
Had both the tapas and gorgonzola fondue. The tapas were tasty, but they were not hot. I was unaware that all their tapas are cold. The menu is very accommodating to cheese lovers, glutards, and vegans alike. The waitstaff is friendly and attentive. Our bartender paired our dishes with exceptional wines. The maitred was nice, but forgot to move us from the bar to the table. Overall, looking forward to going back there again.
Super cozy place with a low key vibe. Food is very tasty and cocktails were even better. We tried the classic fondue and the lamb and filet skewers. Loved it all. Service was excellent.
Great Mediterranean food for good value - got the spreads which were fantastic and skewers! They also have a happy hour drink special for cocktails, wine and beers. Cocktails are quite good here although limited wine selection. Food is delicious - we got the filet mignon, kofta and meatball skewers which came with beans and rice.
One of my fav places to eat! Their salad is to die for. I went during the New York restaurant week with friends and enjoyed a lot!The service is wonderful too
Food was mediocre, many previous dishes are removed. The artichoke strata was decent. Kg scrambled eggs , chicken , beef skewers was lacking flavors. Service was great!
Very nice little restaurant in Hell’s kitchen. Mediterranean fair. All the food was wonderful. Impressed with every bite. Nice serving sizes for the $$. Romantic and cozy atmosphere. Service was great. Fondue on par with Paris. The kabobs are large and delicious. The messa sampler is amazing get at least four options. We had hummus, babbaganoush, walnut pepper spread and tebouleh.
The place is ideal for either a date or dinner with a bunch of friends, the table at the back (hidden between the bottles) is the best. The fondues are amazing, the best one is the Kashkaval, we share 2 plus 5 tapas for 4 people. The cider is tasty, but you should go for the wine
This place has become somewhat of a go-to for a nice hot plate for lunch. The dinner is excellent as well. I like Mediterranean style, and the food mixes that style into familiar dishes in a cozy environment.
We probably made a mistake and didnt take what was recommended by other users, like tapas or fondue. The mediterranean salad was not good, the dressing was too salty and it completely hid all the taste the salad could have. The garden poutine was okay. The service is fine and the place is nice.
Delicious. We had the tapas and a bunch of grilled skewers of salmon, shrimp, octopus, and koft. So good. Small Restaurant but the service was superb, and the food was delicious. Highly recommend!
Amazing restaurant! Incredibly beautiful and comfy lighting. Our server Jeremy was working hard! He introduced the menu’s, gave recommendations, and checked with our table to make sure we were okay multiple times. He seems great at multitasking! The other staff were always amazing - I can sense teamwork. I love the fondue and babaganoush (my fav dish ever).I recommend family styling the menu with fondue & skewers! Check out happy hour.In and out in less than an hour - lucky with no reservation, got to sit at the bar
Not what it used to be. Very disappointing.
Scrumptious comfort food with a European flare! Their fondues, raclette and tapas are all very good. We started with the amazing peppadews (stuffed bite sized peppers). I could eat a bowlful of these things! If you like cheesy deliciousness, there are lots to choose from. Also, there is happy hour from 4-7, cheap but good quality wine ($6) and beer ($5) options.
This place is great! The beets were the best I have ever had! The rosemary margarita is also top drawer!Great service, good food. Super happy they are back open with a nice amount of outside dining space. The recommendations all turned out great. You are in good hands when you have a meal at Kashkaval Garden!!
The food was absolutely delicious. Everything was seasoned well and flavorful. Had the salmon and Octopus skewers which were on point, and a meza platter with hummus, baba ganoush, and artichoke. All delicious. Service was quick and attentive.
The Happy Hour special is fantastic! A glass of Malbec is only $6. The skewers are delicious! We ordered the garden, shrimp, and asparagus with prosciutto skewers as well as tapas which consisted of beet hummus, quinoa, lentils, and cauliflower. My sister-in-law is a vegetarian so this was the perfect spot for dinner.
Absolutely fantastic Mediterranean food and Specialty cocktails. If youre a small group say one or two, sit at the bar rather than waiting for a table. Its just as good and experience.
Amazing food! I tried this cuisine for the first time and I simply loved it. Their baklava and skewers were amazing!
Everything was great. The food was tasty and with very good portions. All the tapas (tzatziki, olive tapenade, taboule, hummus, etc...) were delicious, as well as the Kofta skewer and the fondue. Service was friendly and professional. Definitely recommended!
Not your average fondue joint. The Gorgonzola fondue will rock your world. You really cant go wrong with any of the dishes. Try a sampling of the Mediterranean tapas; specifically the walnut dish. The atmosphere is fantastic. The back dining area is transformed and unrecognizable from the front which is like a deli. Try picking up a lunch at the front of the store and taking it for a picnic to Central Park.
Damn, this place is good.My wife and I came to NYC for the weekend with no solid plans other than wanting to go to a good Mediterranean restaurant. And, man did this place meet our high expectations. The service was just as good as the food.Highly recommended!
A hidden gem in Hells Kitchen! From start to finish!Friendly courteous staff, awesome food, great cozy ambiance.
Decent place for Sunday brunch. For tapas we ordered - Hummus, Babaganoush, Brussel sprouts, Olive Tapenade and Spinach with Feta. All were quite good and delicious. They were served with whole wheat pita whi ch was a good touch. For our entrees we ordered Fondue Kashkaval, Shakshuka and a skewer of Koefte (lamb). The Shakshuka was overcooked, but everything else was quite good. Service was friendly and efficient.
🍴 FOOD [4/5]: The salads are wildly flavorful and the option to add a skewer makes it the perfect meal, although the extra charge is higher than expected ($10 for one skewer). The portions are pretty big as well. As good as the entrees were, Im taking off one star because the fried halloumi appetizer wasnt very good. The harissa dipping sauce was lacking flavor and spice.🧑💼 SERVICE [3/5]: Service was okay. The person who seated us said we had a different reservation than what we actually requested (not his fault, looks like something with the booking system). Our server initially forgot one of our dishes and was also hard to flag down.🪩 VIBE [5/5]: The place itself is very cozy and has touches of decor that look like youre visiting a rustic cellar. There are tables of all sizes so the place is great for something intimate or a large group.
Came here for dinner on a Tuesday evening with my friend and her family to celebrate her birthday. We got 3 orders of the fondue, which served 4 pretty well. There was a happy hour drink special until 7pm, which we took advantage of. My friend got a really good lavender cocktail. The food was really good, and the service really friendly and on point.
Delicious coffee and baklava. Food was great as well and good size portions.
I am not going to complain about their food as I left the restaurant without ordering. I want to complain about the fact that there is no public Wi-Fi in Kashkaval Garden. I was supposed to meet someone there, yet did not have my own Wi-Fi as I have a foreign phone no. I wanted to access one of two Wi-Fi networks available in the restaurant. I asked for a password at the bar and was informed that that they could not help me as these networks were private. I was sent to nearby Mc Donalds or Starbucks to find their public Wi-Fi. A more customer-oriented approach of the guy at the bar would have been to share his own Wi-Fi for 5 minutes with me. I would have been happily stayed and left my money there. Regrettably, after this experience I am like: Never again! In the 21st century when almost everybody is glued to their phones, in the middle of Manhattan and with so many foreign tourists visiting NYC, a free Wi-Fi for its customers should not be a luxury in Kashkaval Garden!
Love Middle Eastern food! This place is very good, they have everything you might think of. Save room for the desserts!
We had a most pleasant meal here. They featured fondue and it was great. Nice wine selection. Good service and not touristy.
In Montreal, we have a bunch of lebanese/syrian restaurants that serves authentic mezzes. While visiting NYC, we were looking for something similar and we are happy we found this little gem. The restaurant is nice and the ambiance was great. The service was outstanding, our waiter, Isaac, was patient and super knowledgeable! And, the food, was really really good at a fair price.Only thing, please put back the Tabouleh on the menu!
Great food, so delicious and fun to sample everything with a group of friends. However the two times I have been here the waiters are always so rushed and dont have time to answer many questions.
We had brunch at Kashkaval Garden on Sunday and will definitely return! The selections were diverse - both warm and cold items to choose from, either breakfasty items (which we chose) and Turkish tapas. We are both vegetarian and gluten-free which often limits our selections, but not the case here! We had the Sakshuka (eggs baked in a spicy tomato sauce with feta) and the artichoke strata. Both were wonderful (although I have to say that the Sakshuka was more unusual and therefore our favorite) and came with a fresh side salad (with a light and delicious lemon vinaigrette dressing) and roasted potatoes that were out of this world! And they make a killer Bloody Mary, and a Bellini with a delectable soaked apricot as a garnish. Its a small place - we ate at the bar and enjoyed watching the chef prepare meals. The staff were pleasant and attentive without hovering. In a word - wonderful!
Turkish and mediterranean hybrid food spot with fondue as well. Excellent kababs. Somewhat pricey for how much food you get, but the cocktails are also excellent. Great date spot, romantic atmosphere.
Beautiful little restaurant. Loved the food and the ambiance. Great service. Ill be back! 😊
Amazing pre-fixe special for two. Appetizers, salad, fondue, dessert and wine. Great ambiance as well. Definitely recommend for dates
Great food. Small, cozy restaurant. Very calm ambience, great place to have a chat with your friends. We took their lunch special. The vegetarian option of the tapas platter is really nice. The chicken and filet mignon skewers are even more amazing :-D.The mint tea is worth a go; theyll happily give your a refill of hot water.
Mediterranean small plates spot on 9th Avenue with warm woods and soft lighting evoke a turn-of-the-century general store at this midtown eatery and gourmet emporium.A small restaurant with BIG flavors and popular with locals. While the portions are perfect for sharing, the fondue was the most impressiveMenu featuring Mediterranean favorites like Lahmajun (Turkish style flatbreads), Raclette, Truffle Fondue, Mediterranean Tapas, hearty main dishes as well as comfort items such as Poutine (potatoes with melted cheese curds and pork belly) and Grilled Cheese la Religieuse. There’s a fondue list that comes in five variations and three different sizes. Including fondue for one (yay!!!)Totally worth a visit! :)
Kashkaval is my Hell’s Kitchen go to for lunch and dinners, where the food and variety never disappoint.
Good place to come for the fondue and the lamb. I usually come with a group and we get 2 fondue pots. I would recommend the truffle and classic fondue pot. We also get the traditional turkish lahmajun flatbread, which is delicious and not gamey at all. Lastly, the tapas are good for sharing as well and tasty with the included pita.
Amazing happy hour and delicious spreads!!
Food is amazing, get a table in the back if you can. The only slight downfall is the fact that the serving staff is too busy to keep up with tables. Also should accept reservations for parties of 4 or more, currently only accepts for larger groups.
My experience at kashkaval was good, but it definitely could have been better. And its not really their fault. They squeezed us in, which I appreciate because we were hungry, but it made the dining experienced a little cramped and nobody likes feeling cramped when theyre eating. that being said, the food was excellent. its like mediterrean tapas, so be prepared to share! the spinach pie was probably the only thing i wasnt crazy about. the rest was delish!
Amazing food for reasonable price. I highly recommend the gorgonzola fondue and the cold tapas. We ordered the artichoke dip, guacamole, baba ghanoush, and curried cauliflower. All incredibly tasty with warm pita bread!
While I do appreciate fondue and cheese in all its forms, both times Ive visited this place it felt like we were being terribly neglected by the server. The fondue blends, however, were pretty good, as were the hummus appetizers.
The place is amazing
I love, love, love Kashkaval!!! First started coming here like 15 years ago. It was next door. It was half deli, half cramped restaurant but meltingly delicious food. Now its in a much bigger space! Room for Covid distance, huge back room and outdoor seating and the food is STILL melt in your mouth delicious!!!We had a fondue pot. Also 4 tapas sampler, the walnut spread is crack and baba ganoush is creamy smoky perfection. Hummus and grape leaves transport me to the Mediterranean. Grilled octopus and chicken skewers to top off our flavor feast. You can not make this any better!!! Meat cooked perfectly, fondue gooey goodness, tapas tasty and terrific texture... Just the freaking best, yummy
Menu is extremely limited. There’s no beef option. Frustrating overall as they got the order wrong. I will not recommend.
Ive been to this place a few times, and will continue to visit. Got the meze platter and mezes were good - babaganoush being the best, tzatziki was mostly ok. I got the chicken skewers and the meat was tender and delicious but the caponata was a bit too tomato forward for my taste. Service however is great, and when Im not focused on healthy eating Ill be back for the fondue.
It may seem like a hole-in-the-wall, but get past the front door and youll find a counter at the front selling to go snacks/market items, with a surprisingly cozy wine bar in the back. The list is pretty basic - the real star here are the mezze items. At $15 for five selections, compared to most of the restaurants in the neighborhood, its quite affordable.
Great little spot, delicious food and friendly staff :) I do highly recommend this place. fondue is a must, same goes for the sample appetizers platter
The place has a lovely atmosphere with relaxing music. The menu is a little bit hard to understand but once deciphered it becomes quite easy to order. We had skewers and tapas. One order is enough for one person. I recommend ordering tapas and skewer if two people are coming and share everything. The grilled octopus is absolutely stunning. Cooked to perfection(which is not easy) with tenderness and charred flavor. The chicken was very juicy.Baba ganoush and beer with the tapas are the best! You’ll have a good meal, don’t think twice. Come in.Feedback: servers should check in on people a little more often. We had to signal for everything we needed. Everyone is very nice though.
Such amazing food (lots of vegan & non-vegan options), cozy vibes, and amazing service! Jeremy is the best waiter we’ve had in a long time ☺️ We’ll definitely be back!
I ordered the pita with four dips (Tzatziki, Babaganoush, Beet Skordalia, Hummus), three of which were tasteless and flavorless. Only the eggplant dip was kind of ok, tzatziki though was the worst I ever had. Delivery came on time. All in all a disappointing experience.
Tables so tight. Food underwhelming. Service tried.
I love this place. For their wine and cheese selection . The appetizers are great too. If you are looking for a Friday evening wine place, think no more. Please get the mezze selection .
Food was delicious, plentiful, and very reasonably priced. Staff was attentive without being overbearing.
Food is good! They had a pre fixed price of 65$ for valentines day!Pro seco, salad, cheese plate, 1 meet, foundue and a dessert! We had the full experience and the waiter was good!We will be back.
The food here is great and Ive returned many times. My favorites are the classic fondue, olive tapenade, and grilled octopus skewer.
