La Botaniste is a local chain serving plant-based fare in the most gorgeous of settings. I met a friend here for dinner and we had a great time. The aesthetics of this shop really lets you relax compared to the hustle and bustle of the outside world. Upon entering, you either order and grab your food, or find a table to settle down first. My dinner was the Tibetan Curry which was pretty good but was made much better when you added some baked tofu into the mix. I felt the depth of flavor couldve been deeper but was still happy with having a great hearty bowl in the heart of Manhattan be so readily available. They didnt have their full dessert options available so Ill have to try that the next time Im back for another round.
A great vegan restaurant in the city. Everything is gluten-free friendly also which is amazing. The employees were friendly and caring. The environment feels like a pharmacy that makes you feel the food is your medicine.
One of my favorite restaurants in the city! Healthy, delicious, flavorful and colorful food which is easy on your gut and wallet. Great price to portion and quality ratio. Variety of options, all can be modifiable to your individual taste. A heaven for vegetarians. We have loved every item on the menu, including their vegan desserts.Best part is that they also serve wine and some great non alcoholic, sugar free drinks. What else could you ask for?The ambience is casual and modern, self service and the staff is friendly and polite. Great for hanging with friends or for grabbing casual healthy food in the city.
WOW WOW WOW 🤩.I just can’t put into words! Amazing quality & simplicity. Ooooh, the joy of eating and NOT feeling guilt.I’m not a vegan but if I were, this is how I imagine heaven would be …. 😇The Tibetan curry bowl was a grand slam. 💥 I need to come back for the mushroom and the chili con carne after a tasting .The red wines can be improved upon. If only this was a BYOB. I can totally see myself here for lunch twice a week during the summer. Outdoor seating is marvelous in SoHo 👍Just superb on every level and unparalleled 💪💪As wonderful as it gets 😉😉
Tasty bowl with fresh ingredients | I like that you can build your own | Beautiful interior
This cafe has a lovely inviting atmosphere. I went in and immediately got this wonderful scent and then saw all the beautiful colors of different dishes being offered. I wanted to try everything. Their dishes are all vegetarian, range from Spicy Chili Sin Carne to Tibetan Mama coconut curry and more. I will be returning with friends to enjoy the wonderful array of dishes and try their curated selection of organic wines.
The food here is absolutely incredible! Every bite was packed with flavor. The service was fantastic, and the staff was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is super cozy and inviting, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy. I loved what I ordered and can’t recommend it enough. Truly an amazing experience all around!
Exceptionally delicious chilli. Friendly, honey service. Extremely clean area. A bunch of delicious options available to choose from right in from of your eyes in beautiful 7 Qt Lee Creuset pots. Yum yum yum!!!
Gluten free, dairy free vegan bliss! We arent vegan but truly didnt miss meat during our meal.We tried two of their bowls (tomato Ceasar salad which is a seasonal is truly phenomenal! Light but packed with flavor and so satisfying - the Tibetan Mama is delicious too, hearty and flavorful and very filling).Service is great too - great suggestions and very helpful.Great price point given the quality of the food, ambiance and service. Will definitely be back.
Smells so good in here, the offerings are amazing, the saag was so good. The man helping me had the best suggestions. The only issue was the quinoa was undercooked and had the taste of starting to go bad. I recommend anything here, everything else was so good but don’t get the quinoa.
What a wonderful restaurant! So glad to have found this gem for unconventional brunch. The mains are all bowls with soup, curry, etc. shared the curry and Tibetan mama and they both were excellent. The server was incredibly helpful and gave great advice. Topped it off with a brownie that was The healthiest brownie I’ve ever eaten, and also among the most flavorful! Will definitely return to try some of their other excellent options as well as their cocktails.
My wife & I were treated poorly. The staff preferred to cater to a couple of beefy young men who came in after us. Ageist perhaps? While the food was excellent, my serving was microscopic. I couldnt get anyone to care enough to address my complaint. On leaving we discovered that we were there for Happy Hour, but no one bothered to tell us we were each entitled to a free glass of wine which might have taken the edge off the experience.A very poor experience. As much as weve enjoyed eating at their other locations in the past, we cannot recommend La Botaniste SoHo.UPDATE:They responded to my complaint by giving us 200 Loyalty points. No consideration to the 2 free wine glasses we missed out on.Okay, maybe that would suffice but it turns out that the 200 loyalty points wasn’t enough to cover the cost of the same bowl ordered today. Oh, and the loyalty points? Even though linked to my CC no credit was given. This is not the way to treat a customer. 1 star reduced leaving 1 star.
So picky with takeout but this was a magical experience, not only is everything clean but freaking delicious. Highly rec the saag and coconut ceviche. Awesome experience . Great service. Cookies need work though
Always an amazing meal when I eat here. Great service, and I can walk around the whole day not feeling sluggish
I’m so hooked on @le_botaniste since I tried it for the first time! This vegan fast food place has a few locations in the city (please open in the financial district) and is a solid option for plant based food.I love getting their botanical menu, which comes with a half-sized bowl and soup of the day. It fills up my tummy for sure! Tried their drinks too and those were also amazing.
I came in for the first time wasn’t to familiar with the place. Thanks to this one person name shannae who helped me with my order very nice charismatic great energy knows the food and knew what I wanted very helpful very patient cause I’m so indecisive but I would definitely go back when she works cause she look like she have the best energy and want to help you get the food you want and know you’re going to enjoy ask for shannae when you go in and thank me later
7 really nice healthy vegan food. 3 half bowls is a great move for two people. Chili is great.
Food wise, this place is really good, plant-based food, very healthy, clean, quality ingredients, natural wines, awesome vibes. Two things we didnt like: The ordering process is a bit intimidating. It’s not clear how to order or what goes with what - we made our own bowl, ended up being kind of expensive because we added toppings.Have been back a few times, because even my husband who likes meat loves this place.
Cafeteria spices, American style portions, overpriced, over hyped. Read everyone saying good things about the flavor. It is really the same flavor as bad American food everywhere. I’m not a vegan, but I like good vegan cooking, when it tastes like real food. Not cafeteria food where you can’t feel the flavors of the vegetables.
Best Vegan Restaurant in the entire city. They have so many different vegan options to choose from, and honestly they’re all super delicious. I don’t think you can go wrong with anything you choose.I love that everything on their menu is organic and sustainably sourced. My partner ordered the chile sin carne and it was really flavorful and simply delicious. I had the magic miso soup which was comforting and extremely healthy. Their veggies are so fresh (something you don’t easily find in NYC)The staff is cordial, helpful and friendly. This kind of service is hard to come by in a city like New York. Everyone seemed really happy to be working there. Good job everyone!
Consider this a vegan answer to Dig: a place that sings the many pleasures of vegetables, through spices, herbs and cooking methods. saag had the right texture and the bowl came with a hefty serving of the main along with some perfect additions. As an Indian I’m not going to say that this is remotely authentic to the spinach curry that we are used to. I did add a lot of hot sauce. but, if you are open to trying someone’s translation of saag, it is well worth the journey.I will be back to try more!
The staff is very kind. The food is delicious.
BEST PLACE EVER!!! The scene is amazing and the food was honestly one of the best lunches I’ve had. The portions are huge so it’s definitely a place that you’ll feel full after and could take some home. If you have a special diet (gluten free, vegan), there are a ton of options here. Definitely check it out!
Ordered to go, and food was tasty and colorful! Got the veggie salad, and the dressing it comes with is great. Highly recommend as a healthy and tasty option.
Stunning vegan spot in Soho.Tried the vegan chilli and miso soup broth.Superb.Great ambience, drinks and some amazing vegan desserts
This is a counter service restaurant. You order the food at the counter and then you get a tray, you then pick out a place to sit and eat.I ordered a pick your own salad which was delicious and felt nurturing. I also ordered the vegan sushi which was also good! Felt like desert and ordered the brownie. Great spot if youre looking for a healthy meal to enjoy without it being over the top or elaborate.
Some of the best vegan Indian food I’ve had. Beautiful space, and the healthy dessert options - especially the energy cookies - were a welcome change from the junky ones you typically find. The veggie balls were my favorite thing I had.
Tbh I wouldn’t suggest le botaniste. I got the falafel and green tea and everything was very flavorless. The store and aesthetics of the place was very beautiful and homey, but it felt more like a clothing store than a food store. I felt like I was going to go shopping for clothes or furniture than eat at a place. The customer service was ok, they weren’t all that chatty and just did their job. Overall, this place felt very sterile and not a food place. Their food could use a lot more flavoring for sure. The portion size was alright and the pricing was moderate. It’s a little bit on the pricey side.Price:$11.98💸Rating: 3/10 📝
A true clean eating club B-) we are glad we checked out this place, love its airy french colonial interiors. Food is green, clean and vibrant. We had the summer roll, coconut ceviche, Morocco stew, botanical salad and rasberry chia pudding. All good especial the hearty homie stew. Just one thing, the kale in the salad was a bit tough and mouthful, I would prefer baby kale or else it should be chopped to smaller mix.
I had Botanical therapy of: 1) magic miso, 2) spicy chili sin carne, and 3) pasta bolo.Highlights were the tofu in #1 and tumeric onion in #2. Also I didnt think I ordered a soup, but there it was. This was my only meal of the day. It felt like a ludicrous amount of food, though I regularly eat 4k calories per day, and if I read the menu correctly, this was only 1k calories?! Im skeptical but Ill give them the benefit of the doubt.
Vegetarian cuisine is a high art.unusual combinations of delicately cooked vegetables with herbs and spices. incredibly delicious desserts with nut sauces. wine..! This is an aftertaste and tartness, rare notes.interior: a combination of classic details with stylish accents.a real 3D feast for the senses!try young coconut spaghetti and buckwheat brownies!
I don’t know what to say! By far the worst vegan restaurant I ever visited. The food looks good but lacks good flavor. I am not sure how they were able to miss up almost every dish! The male staff is truly unhappy person and not friendly, the female staff are good! The location and ambiance is far.
Amazing!!! So yummie and decent amount of seating. We had Mroccon Stew, sushi and chii.
Amazing, tasty and healthy food. The service was awsome too.
One of my favorite places to eat. Consistently fresh, organic, delicious and hearty food and the ambiance and service is always pleasant.
Le botaniste is a great place for vegan options. The menu does not change often but the variety is quite delicious. Not sure how many calories per dish but taste is really great. The restaurant is clean and beautifully decorated as well.
Really great vegan food. Affordable too!I had the mezze, comes with some crackers. Is tasty.
Absolutely love the Botanical Salad! Everything is incredibly fresh and you just feel great after eating here cause it’s so healthy and delicious. Perfect for a casual lunch.
The bowl I had was great. Good place if you are vegan or want to try a vegan restaurant. Also have to praise the staff who were very attentive even though ppl can be so tiring... They were super professional and patient.
My favorite thing on the menu was the green Bronx machine Bowl as in my opinion it was the healthiest and lightest thing to getThe food was great and the service went above and beyond, looking forward to returning again!
Honestly, my FAVORITE plantbased spot in Soho!! I love that I can get a warm, hearty meal thats just as good for the earth as it is for my body! The staff is always amazing, the space is always clean, and the food is more than delightful.
Best plant based quality food spot in NYC! Very flavorful!
This place is just amazing. Clean, nice , vegan place. Food really tastes delicious. Staff is friendly and helpful, if you never tried vegan food , this is place for start .
DIY bowl. Awesome flavours, and this is coming from a non vegetarian.
Love this place! Great food and awesome decor, a really unique feel. Three bean chili, potato spread and cheese plate were our faves. The dessert (chocolate chia mud) was just OK. Will visit again!
Great vegan food. My wife really likes this chain. We prefer to walk farther to eat here than anywhere else.
Wow. 5 stars doesn’t sum it up. Amazing plant based food, excellent customer service, and very friendly and helpful staff! Do yourself a favor and grab a bite from here!
Le botaniste always has delicious and fresh tasting bowls. I love the Tibetan mama bowl. Also its fun to make your own bowl. The atmosphere is nice and you could take friends here as there are tables with lots of seating.
This is my new favorite restaurant. Im not vegetarian, but I love plant based food. Le Botaniste is delicious, beautiful, and quick. Its an oasis. I will be eating here every time I come back to visit the city.
Delicious food and cute theme! I had the Chili sin Carne, barely noticed that there wasn’t any meat in it all. I definitely will be back.
Vegan bowls made fresh every day. Pick from menu or create your own! The balanced use of spices truly makes vegan food delicious. The pot display lets you feel you are about to have a delicious home cooked meal.Staff is particularly welcoming and friendly!
This is by far my favourite restaurant in NYC. Everything was vegan / plant based and absolutely delicious. Recommend the tomato Cesar salad and chocolate chip cookie.Atmosphere was fantastic. Perfect date night
Ordered popular and recommended Tibetan Mama, liked the brown rice, soup and veggies were just normal.
Really delicious, hearty vegan meals, while still being light and refreshing. The Vegetable Tagine bowl and the Mezze spread assortment with crackers was a perfect tasting of what Le Botaniste has to offer. Perfect for a hot day!
Went here on a first date. The food was good - very healthy plant based options. The decor was very cute. However the service wasn’t great and although there was an option to make your own, the staff did not entertain.
First time trying this place in NYC. Really amazing and delicious vegan food and variety! Also wine selection is good!
Horrible experience with Lorraine. The attitude unfortunately resulted in my inability to eat. Sad experience especially since I usually like the food.
I really wanted the food flavors to match the decor of this place. The design is beautiful. Everything looks well thought out from the food display area to the shelving and room decor. Even the food looks delicious, but I found it bland and boring which it shouldnt be since its based upon food from places that have very tasty vegetarian food. I had some sort of Moroccan stew that could have been Campbells soup based flavor wise. The staff were gracious and swift.I tasted my chef friends ( yes were all in the food biz) dishes that all looked great, but reminded me of vegetarian dishes grub the 70s where not having meat in them was the goal and not the taste.
I had the miso soup and it was kind of cold. The flavor ok but not amazing. Latter tried the chili sin carne and is good. The masala chai delicious. The personal is amazing very friendly and understand. Ill come back. Because I hate waiting until my food temperature lowers enough to be edible, so is perfect
Really nice place, not cheap and the miso soup was a bit too bland/tofu was a bit burned. But salad was amazing and staff are lovely!
Firstly, the ambiance is absolutely fantastic and the service is quick. The people are very sweet, accommodating and hospitable and the food is amazing. The entire menu is vegan and health oriented, and very tasty! We went multiple times because the food is just amazing. There are also multiple stores all across the city which is really convenient! Overall, it’s a great vegan place to go frequently because the meals are pretty filling, great to look at and healthy.
So pleasant!! I can’t believe how calm and quiet it is. Beautiful space and food.
Le Botaniste is among my favorite restaurants in New York. The food is beautiful, fresh, healthy, creative, and full of wonderful flavors. Staff are always so kind and friendly, and the atmosphere and decor are charming and inviting. It’s very reasonably priced for both the city and the quality of food. All the stars! Thanks for so many delicious meals!
Hearty, well prepared bowls made with fresh ingredients. This is my go-to for a tasty, healthy treat.
Everything was amazing from the second I stepped in. Beautiful interior. The food was so flavorful and filling. Staff friendly and helpful as well.
Absolutely delicious! What a breath of fresh air in the see of hot dogs and sausages carts! Delicious fresh hand crafted food! Excellent service and food divine!
Great place to go and unwind Jim went above and beyond , great service will come to dine again 5 stars all the way
Wow, this place is fantastic in every way possible! The food was clean, healthy, delicious and reasonably priced. I had the Tibetan mama (+seeded avocado - highly recommend), the beet ginger fresh juice and the raw raspberry cake (refined sugar free!). The restaurant was also cool and casual - perfect for a quick healthy bite.
Great fresh healthy and tasty food. We took the botanical therapy which is 3 half bowels and we enjoyed all of them and wanted more. Highly recommended.
I’ve made Botaniste a regular visit for dinner and lunch. I love their rotating and inventive menu and am amazed at how quickly they prepare such high quality, delicious and healthy food. I’m amazed at their model and approach.Everyone on the staff has also been warm, welcoming and super knowledgeable on their menu items.Space is attractive as well. Overall, just a great place to integrate into your life to get food your body will thank you for at a reasonable price.
As a meat eater, I thought that the taste would be lacking, but I was dead wrong. The mushroom gravy with potatoes, kraut, and kale with mustard aioli was absolutely creamy and jaw droppingly good! Will definitely be visiting again!
Amazing bowls, the curry is really good.Congrats to the staff working here they are really nice and the service is excellent.
This place is wonderful! Our server, Jamal, was helpful and friendly. He offered us suggestions, as it was our first time visiting. The entire menu is vegan. We ordered the Mediterranean Pasta, Tibetan Mama, Omega-3 brownie, and the botanical lemonade. The food is delicious, and the prices are remarkably fair. We will be back!
Pasta Bolo and Chili sin carne are amazing
Finally a place where I can eat clean and healthy food
If you are vegan or vegetarian you have to try this place! The food is really tasty! Homemade food! We had the sushi rolls and 2 bowls of curry rice and vegan chili bowls. We will definitely come back
Good plant based dishes, lovely service. Try the Mezze with crackers - especially the lemon turmeric hummus. We had the Tibetan Mama bowl. I could have done with less of the coconut stew since the brown rice was swimming in it. Would have enjoyed some more green vegetables not just one piece of broccoli and some sliced cucumbers. Place is a bit pricey for things that should be nominal. But all around a decent selection for lunch.
Super cute vegan place! Definitely worth visiting when youre craving a good salad or a healthy bowl 😋 the interior was very nice too
Nice space, nice staff, excellent food and priced fairly. “Let food be the medicine”.... couldn’t have said it better myself
Run, don’t walk. Get here!
Le Botaniste is a true gem! I recently had the pleasure of dining there and I was blown away by the quality of the food. The tomato soup was rich and flavorful, with just the right amount of tanginess to make it taste amazing. The spicy chili bowl was also a hit, with its bold flavors and perfect level of spiciness that made it a delight to eat.In addition to the fantastic food, the dining area at the back was spotless and provided a comfortable atmosphere for enjoying my meal. The space was spacious, which allowed for social distancing and a relaxed atmosphere. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure that I was well taken care of throughout my visit.Overall, I would highly recommend Le Botaniste to anyone looking for delicious, high-quality food in a clean and comfortable environment. Whether youre grabbing a quick bite on the go or settling in for a leisurely meal, this restaurant is sure to satisfy all of your cravings. Dont miss out on the opportunity to experience this amazing eatery for yourself!
I loved it all! All veg restaurant and organic. I was overwhelmed by the choices, and the environment was lovely. I had Moroccan stew - it was exactly what I needed to balance my system. Thank you! I will come back.
Grate food, very good coffee, clean place, friendly staffI recommend this place
I rarely like no-meat restaurants. This is an exception that has become love. The way spices and ingredients are mixed in the soups and bowls makes for some happy tummies. Let alone the colorful presentations. Oh, and the price is right, and the service and atmosphere too. So we go, again and again and again...
A true gem of wholesome eats in the heart of SoHo. I was shopping on a freezing day and needed a snack. I stumbled upon Le Botaniste and was pleasantly surprised by every single aspect of this spot. From the interior to staff to the food itself, it was a fantastic experience.First off, the food looks incredible. All fresh, in colorful pots, all plant-based. Very affordable starters and dishes (my veggie balls were massive and only around $7 — comes with a large serving of hummus). The interior was beautifully designed to look like an old apothecary vibe. Very pretty. There was an outlet which let me charge my phone.I will be back to dinner.
Nice fast casual vegan place. Its nice enough here to sit and have a leisurely lunch. I had the quinoa noodles, the broth was really flavourful as was the tofu, but the noodles themselves werent as much. I would have prefered rice noodles. I paid $20 for the big bowl of food, sparkling water and tip.
Best vegan food with a NY price tag.Very nicely designed concept. Tried the chili bowl with cauliflower rice and added veggie balls with a carrot detox drink and it came to $30 bill. Got to used to paying no more than 1500-2000 yen lunch in Japan 😅
Delicious and flavorful plant-based organic food! A variety of bowls, salad and soup, and dessert. We had Tibetan mama(curry), vegetable sushi rolls, botanical salad, all sooooo good! We feel recharged and energized after our lunch. Cant wait to return and try other items.
DELICIOUS! Vegan food that knocks it out of the park on flavor and satisfaction.
Good chain restaurant in Soho! I did the half / half lunch deal, which includes the soup of the day and half a bowl. The brokkoli soup tasted a bit odd, but the bowl was nice, and so was the lemonade. Its a good place for a healthy and affordable lunch in the area.
I love this place for a quick, healthy and very flavorful lunch. While you can build your own bowl, I usually go for the Tibetan Mama or the chili sin carne. Today I had the Tibetan and it didn’t disappoint. The curry is so flavorful! Don’t skip out on the kimchi, it goes really well with the richness of the curry. You can’t go wrong here. This is a top notch plant based spot that packs a punch. Indoor and outdoor seating available.
Always delicious and healthy. My go-to order is the Tibetan Mama with quinoa fusilli instead of brown rice but all the other dishes I’ve tried here were super tasty too. Nice, clean interior.
Superfriendly people serving great food!! Vegan food made so it convinces anyone that you dont need meat to make delicious food!!
Delicious food friendly staff, delicious toppings Green Hummus)enjoy with a glass of wine
Love the decoration and the food is also good.Good light food choices
Unique set up / sophisticated lunch & dinner room feel to this vegan / plant based NYC restaurant. My partner & I only dine at fully vegan establishments, so when we travel part of the fun is finding places like this to indulge. At Le Botaniste there are a number of selections you can choose from batch-made dishes, which was nice: you can see specifically what you’re ordering & customize them accordingly. We had the Moroccan curried mix & the chili sin carne with some veggie balls added. The staff was friendly & accommodating. Ideal spot for a quick bite & totally affordable!
I love this place so much. Its such a well designed restaurant and you expect it to be high end and expensive, but then you realize that its a causal place to get lunch/dinner and the prices are under $15 for your entire meal!!Le Botaniste, is something Ive been looking for in NYC for a long time. Im a vegetarian and Im always in search for something delicious to eat. So happy that I found this place!!They have the best vegan chili Ive ever had and I love their Coconut curry. Both are a must try!!Ig-@traveleen_gurl
Love this spot! Really great and hearty healthy dishes when you want to eat out but still remain on a whole food plant based and healthy eating! Try the sushi and the vegetable tajine. The prices are also very reasonable for the quantity of food you get. My non vegan friends loved their food as well!
Love that Le Bontaniste has a location in the Soho area. This is our go to when we feel like something delicious, nourishing, and made with clean ingredients. They have many options from light bites, soups to bowls. Thus its a great place when feel like something light (great to not just have salad chains as options). The speciality drinks like mushroom coffee is yummy too. Just wish they make all their desserts with unrefined sugar (no brown sugar).
Lovely service and excellent food. Its more for a quick bite, but it has enough style to come here with friends. I was looking for vegetarian options, which Le Botanist can be recommended for.
Blown away by the unbelievable spagette I had here. As a plant-based restaurant, Le Botaniste offers a wide variety of dishes that are both tasty and healthy. The spagette, in particular, was absolutely delicious and packed with flavor. The restaurant itself has a cozy and inviting atmosphere, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Overall, I would highly recommend Le Botaniste to anyone looking for a delicious plant-based meal in Soho.
This is a nice concept if youre into salad and bowls kind of place. I liked my Vegetable Tajine but one of the persons in our group didnt like the Miso soup bowl. The miso soup was overpowered with ginger and the tofu in it was super salty. Their drinks were very good.
Food here is so healthy, tasty and amazing. Huge plus is that everything is gluten free and vegan , you cannot go wrong eating here .
Took a break from visiting a nursing home to find a good place to have a happy hour lunch and ended up here for their “free glass of wine with a bowl” deal. The ordering process was confusing, the food looked good but had the same flavors as nursing home food, and because they didn’t ring me up for the “free glass of wine with a bowl” at that very moment of check out, the manager decided the deal did not get to apply to me.I instead had to pay $2 for sparkling tap water that went flat by the time I sat down at a counter that never got bussed for the 2 finished bowls next to me.Bummer.
Delicious food, warm and friendly staff. A great experience!
Calling all herbivores and flavor enthusiasts! If youre on the hunt for a taste bud fiesta, look no further than this vegan haven. I tried their Chilli Sin Carne, and my taste buds threw a party—theyre still talking about it! Its so delicious; even my non-vegan friends were eyeing my plate with envy. Trust me, this place is a veggie paradise worth visiting again and again!
Amazing vegan food !! Super flavorful bowls. Recommend their tonic based drinks as well (Beet juice must try).
Went to Bryant park location next to my office at 2pm. Had to choose from limited availability, while waiting for sides they brought in all the freshly cooked varieties and wouldn’t help me to change my sauce and following sides. I was very unhappy with my meal especially after paying $17! Zero customer service
Came here for lunch today. The restaurant is clean, quaint and charming atmosphere. Food was delicious and the staff was very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. Would recommend and visit again!
This place was perfect to have a quick lunch that was light and flavorful! I got the botanical salad and my friend got the chili con carne. The food was very tasty and all vegan! Would highly recommend. The staff were friendly and the restaurant was clean and had a very aesthetic vibe.
Fine healthy food but the flavor left something to be desired. Elaborate and warm decor ambiance indoor, more classic outside. Order at the counter. Disappointed by the insipid mushroom drink. Friendly personnel.
Perfection. Great food and atmosphere. Love your wine and your staff is just amazing. Also love the reward system. One of my fav go to for healthy delicious meal.
A great spot for a tasty, healthy, veggie food. Plenty of space and artfully decorated space. They also have a wine bar to go with your food.
Delicious real food, smells and tastes wonderfully. Not vegans like me will also find the meals super tasty. Perfect for those days when you are wandering around and want comfy bowl. Tried the Missô Bowl... amazingEvery ingredient is organic, and that is real plus in NYCWill return for sure
Travelled a lot of Europe, live in Australia and this is one of the best vegan spots Ive ever eaten. This is how vegan food should be done in my opinion. Real food, made with heart, healthy & tasty. Thanks for the delicious meal- in reference to your reply: go for it :)
Great vegan healthy food. Delicious and unique.
It was really nice here ,the staff were really friendly and helpful .the food was SO GOOD!!!🔥great place to eat if you want healthy meals 😀.
Amazing place that I accidently found. Really good concept and their food is delicious. They really are cooking the future of food!
This is such an outstanding concept. Delicious food, elegant restaurant, friendly service. Loved the natural wine bar too. So good.
This place is awesome. Love the selection they have. The food is amazing. It’s a nice cozy spot. Wine was amazing.
This property threw out my retainers for Invisalign which cost me $450 out of pocket. They have attitude and spoke with great enthusiasm about “tossing” my retainers due to an alleged “biohazard”. The truth is these are not a biohazard…it wasn’t a disposable needle but rather a simple retainer. They could have easily utilized disposable gloves to put them into a ziplock bag and done the ethical thing. Instead, they threw them out. Their food is overpriced and a basic bowl starts at $16. I would search somewhere else...This place survives largely because it is in Tribeca…Would non wealthy people visit here? You tell me…the quality of the food isn’t anything to shout about.
Really loved my experience at Le Botaniste Soho. The food was very delicious and also finding a place with vegan and organic food isn’t an easy task so I am happy it happened for me. Definitely will be back.P.S.: I keep coming here, it’s the best healthy vegan place in NYC.
My favorite lunch restaurant. Try the DIY hot bowl and the omega 3 brownie!!
Great vibe for a weekend brunch or dinner. They have good vegan options. We got the pumpkin soup, Spicy chili sin carne and Pasta. The Spicy chili sin carne is really really good and flavorful. I recommend it. Pasta is okay.
That’s amazing spot for lunch! Great vegan food
I wish I had bought a dessert. They looked great. :( I got the Botanical salad. It was beautiful.
New to vegan cuisine but everything I had here was amazing! The server helped me choose a high protein dish, would def recommend 👍🏼
I really love going to Botaniste but I just ordered a bowl to go. While I was eating it I found pebbles in my chili. I cook a lot and know this is not uncooked rice or quinoa. It was so difficult on my teeth and when I look it was a rock! I called to let them know, however the manager was not very helpful and kept requesting that I come into the store even though I was 45 minutes away. Usually the food quality is great but I’m disappointed in my experience this time both with the food and the service.
I love this place. They have made vegan creations into an art form. Every dish is savory, soothing to the soul and satisfying. A must try: the chocolate chia pudding and the brownie, for dessert, or both for your meal! Its so good.
Best for vegan / vegetarian. Coconut ceviche is my favorite
Great meal here! High quality, unique flavors and very friendly people. They went to great lengths to help find a missing metro card
Very good find. The food is fresh and delicious, nice atmosphere, quick service.
Grateful this place exists! An entirely plant-based spot where the food is consistently delicious, nutritious and made with care AND also spotlessly clean with a friendly and attentive staff!!! BONUS that when you dine in you have real (pretty) ceramic bowls and utensils and don’t have to create any waste. Also has a lovely wine selection if you’re into that sort of thing. Love Le Botaniste!!
All whole foods, plant-based with a wide variety of meal choices. You choose your food walking along a counter where all is displayed for you. We had three different entrees and all were delicious and full of healthy ingredients. Water is provided to every table and replenished without asking. They also offer wine but wer did not partake. There is plenty of seating and the place is kept very clean.
Friendly staff, so many options for creating your own bowl of healthy, fresh vegan food. Relaxing atmosphere and well priced.
The food is really bland. I was hoping for flavor but it feels safe in catering to White peoples need of bland levels. I was really disappointed especially since the taste doesnt match their price levels which are a bit high. I think customers are paying this restaurants rent and thats all. The tajine tasted nothing like the tajine I had in Marrakech. I would recommend elsewhere.
Delicious bowls with a very good price. The place is charming, vivid and you smell great food right away. Definitely recommended for a vegetarian lunch. I tried the spicy chili sin carne and it was amazing
Everything was great, food was lovely. Hated this thing though. Why is it here?
When I arrived I was immediately impressed by the calm atmosphere. The decor and seating style remind me of some of the european cafes I have visited. I love the water and glasses waiting on the tables even in though its a counter-service spot. Staff was amazing. As I waited for my friends, someone was constantly cleaning the dining room and making sure that my tables water bottle was full. The only knock I can make is that the chairs are low stools which could be uncomfortable for some diners, but it didnt bother me too much.Food was very good, although not everything is for every palette. As a long-term vegan, I am pretty adventurous and found almost everything to be delightful - except for the Seaweed Tartare, that was not a winner for me.What we ate:- As a table we shared a summer roll (I loved it), a maki (generally enjoyed by all) and a Mezze bowl (not worth the price tag) in which some of the spreads were nice, but some were what ill call Advanced Vegan food and didnt land well with my friends and went largely uneaten. Skip the Mezze and just order the thing or two that caught your eye.- The most carnivorous in our group had the Chili bowl, which he loved.- I had the Magic Miso Bowl which was good but just a touch too salty for me- My bestie made the best choice of the evening and went with the Tibetan Mama bowl, which was delicious.I will DEFINITELY be coming here again. Yummy, and even though we were SO SO SO full having tried all those dishes, we all agreed that we didnt feel yucky/heavy etc. The completely fresh, minimally processed ingredients is absolutely heaven.
Delivering from this place is a little delight during the day- the food is amazing and well-seasoned. The ingredients are fresh and I personally love the pasta. It’s great for a light, cute lunch that is also very tasty.
The coconut curry sauce is absolutely scrumptious ! Thank you so much for all the explanations about your dishes ! Such a welcoming place ! Recommend it 100%
Delicious vegan for people who love meat but secretly wish they could become vegan. They are pricey. My favorite bowls always have the faux bolognese in them, my least favorite is the smashed potatoes one. None of the desserts are amazing. A good place for a quick healthy bite.
One of the best spots all around.
I loooooove this place. So delicious and healthy!
Lots of fresh, flavorful plant-based options. If you want to feel great after a meal, this is the spot. Salads, juices hit the spot every time. Delicious sauces/dressings.
Vegan heaven. The only downside: how do you choose? And it’s healthy! No fake food. The staff is so nice and helpful…not to mention patient while the decisions are being made.
So good I’m considering going back for the third time in two days. Top notch food, drinks, deserts, super friendly staff (I was at 2 locations and the staff at both were delightful), and very reasonable prices for NYC. I usually find something amiss with most restaurants so a five star rating from me should be considered a stamp of approval, even if you’re hard to please.
Le Botaniste serves some delicious food. For me this is one of those restaurants that is delicious and just so happens to be vegan. The ordering is similar to a Dig Inn, Chipotle style, select carbs first then protein and greens later. They also have preset combos they can just make for you, like the chili bowl. Great decor, with a cozy and very clean interior. Very casual you get your food from the counter and seat wherever you wish, each table has a bottle of water with cups. Really enjoyed this spot.
Beautiful place offering healthy food.
New treasure in soho, came by today and the service is super friendly and helpfull. The food is deliciouse and a great amount of choices to choose from. The furniture is super cute and photo worthy !
Great veggie restuarant, we need more of those...
I was looking for something healthy to eat for lunch when I found Le Botaniste. All the meals are plant based and prepared in a gluten-free friendly environment. The menu has a lot of options involving fresh vegetables and more elaborate compositions. The staff is nice, friendly and always ready to help with recommendations and information.
Very special place, beautiful decor, kind paciente stuff, good food, good tasty vegetarian food, good looking food, no chairs but stools. Comunal tables in the front. Decent prices for the high quality and freshness of the food, and the unique and special ambiance.
I liked their food and came back a couple of times. They have interesting menu with reasonable price. Unfortunately, the staff seemed too tired/busy now and weren’t as helpful as last time I was there. Its better to look at their menu online and figure out since the food is unique and staff members dont have much time to answer questions.
It’s heaven for gluten free & vegan people. But if you’re not, you are still gonna warm your souls with their food. I really like it and can recommend it more.
My favorite restaurant!Healthy + Clean + Organic + Friend of the PlanetI love Joe Mash Potatoes 💖
Lovely space with calm and fun atmosphere. Delicious chili and chocolate brownie. Super fresh veggies and nice sauces. All gluten free!
Sure, I knew it was vegan. But I thought it would be “vegan, but good.” I was wrong, it was just “vegan.” Food was decent if you’re into that kind of thing.
I go all the time. Favorite lunch spot, super quick, delicious, and filling food. And healthy! Customer service has always been incredibly friendly and helpful. Cant recommend enough
Really like this place. I am not a vegan or vegetarian and I enjoy food there a lot. The restaurant setting is casual where you order and find your own seat. Cute french style decoration.
I really enjoyed eating a healthier restaurant that serves meal from vegetables that are fresh and organic, It made me wanna go back there again so I can make the choice of whan can I eat thats for my own health, and the foods was irresistible the chefs made these foods with fresh ingredients and mixed together to combine a vegan food.
Great experience! The food looks and tastes amazing! Healthy! Decent prices.
So so so good! The options are very unique, so I was hesitant when ordering, but the Moroccan stew bowl ended up being scrumptious! So flavorful and healthy. The chia seed pudding with berries for dessert is a must try as well!
Amazingly delicious and healthy food! I go here at least once or twice a week! Feels like a home cooked meal. The staff could be a little more friendly though.
Everything was delicious and this is a very nice place to visit
Staff was nice, place was immaculate and the food was amazing. Highly recommend!
Great looking place, seemingly healthy, very slightly slow service
Food is amazingly fresh, healthy, and very tasty. Ive been there now 3 times and the service was awesome each time. I highly recommened the botanical salad, juices, and the miso special. The miso special is so flavorful. Love the atmosphere, very cozy.
Spent a little more than Id like for a curry bowl but the flavor and variety of the ingredients were wonderful! Definitely a flexible menu for vegetarian, vegan, or gluten free diets.
Vibrantly colorful presentation of vegan compositions. Le creuset should sponsor!
OMG this place is enthralling. Lovely holistic/apothecary vibe, vegan food, luscious colors, scents & textures. Sweet modern interiors. Serve yourself (money & time saver). I LOVED Tibetan Mama (curry, rice & veg 🍛) and the key lime pie for desert. This is my new staple.
Nice vegan restaurant with a selection of wine. Food is pretty amazing. Liked their magic miso soup which has strong gingerly flavor which is perfect for fall weather.Liked the area where it is located. From bites to bowl to dessert I love their variety.
Love this place. The food is really healthy and everything is always neat.
Amazing plant-based spot. Fantastic atmosphere! 🌱Service is very friendly and cozy.
This place is amazing. The atmosphere is very cool, like an old apothecary and the food is fresh, delicious and healthy. The staff is friendly and was helping me to decide what to order. They also offer great wine and the money is definitely worth every penny spend. Can’t wait to go back to try their other, healthy choices. 5 stars!
First time going and the counter service was helpful and patient in explaining the process. Food was delish, fresh and healthy. I will definitely be back.
Hands down the best dining experience weve had on this trip to NYC. Nice Cafe with really good food and service.
Wow ! The food here is amazingI had the Tibetan Mama today and it was to die for . Tastes like home cooked food . Doesn’t have a lot of sodium and it’s fresh and yummy .The staff is also super friendly !
Botanist is generally good and healthy but still wish the dishes could even be a little more flavorful or delicious.
Incredible spot for vegetarian/vegan or gluten free. Delicious food from various cuisine styles. I got the Miso bowl and it was excellent. Options are very customizable. A bit pricey but worth it. You will probably spend $15-$20 for lunch. Indoor seating available.
Looks fancier in the pictures than it actually is. You order at the counter and all meals are already prepared and they just serve you in a bowl what you choose. Fair prices and tasty food though.
Our base food outlet while we stayed in NYC for all four days. Just around the corner from the hotel we discovered this place on our discovery walk about after we arrived. We were starved but didn’t want to ruin our dinner appetite for later that evening. What a delightful place. Fresh food that’s “plant based , organic”. My fav was the Moroccan Soup as well as the Green Pea Hummus. We also enjoyed the Red Fruit Chia Pudding, Coconut Ceviche, Red Beet Caviar and the Omega 3 Brownie. Water is on the table so help yourself. And to boot it’s very clean. A gem of a plant based sit down/takeaway in Soho.
Pretty amazing spot, big portions and the best lemonade ever. Sometimes can be a bit too sour tho
Loved the veggie sushi, the summer roll and the BROWNIE!! Decor is also lots of fun. Really happy we tried this one.
Delicious plant-based, vegan spot I came across while wondering in NYC. I liked how you could customize your dishes to a certain extent. Would recommend for a lunch spot if youre in the area.
Very good food, we had beet caviar, the peanut curry bowl and the vegan chili bowl. We didn’t manage to get to deserts but they looked really good.
One of my favorite places 😋Brownie is definitely worth to try.
Everything was delicious, colorful and healthy. Also, they have wine 🍷🌈
Very friendly atmosphere and staff! Delicious food and wine! Love the beat balls! Such an original idea! Will definitely come back.
Great vibe, felt really nice being inside. Will definitely return to try other dishes, everything looked so delicious!!
Cant wait to go thats all I can say for now I like live foods nothing cooked except for maybe a little bit of lime juice on some fish to make ceviche and Im a very good cook myself but I cook a lot of menorgan foods and a lot of healthy healthy foods
Amazing find! Super nutritious and delicious. A lot of options too, so you can keep coming back!
Very good food and the service was excellent! The staff were so nice and a great place to wind down after a long day!
I just recently noticed this place and is def one of my favorites now in soho, the soups are always a good option
Okay food, insanely bad service and wildly overpriced. Hoped for more but it’s ok! Main bummer was the “botanical spread” which was almost $8 and looks like this
The new key lime pie is amazing. I ate it up so fast before I could take a great pic. Everything here is so good. Big fan! Next time I’ll try the wine. Cheers
I love this place. I’m sensitive to everything and I finally found a place that doesn’t make me feel sick the next day 😊 they don’t use canola oil, no msg, no gmo, no corn, no wheat.... only super clean ingredients, and the food is absolutely delicious. I’m obsessed with the vegetable tajine....
LOVE IT Best choice ever!Food was so tasty, people are very kind and the place is cute ♥️
Food was bland. Portion size is good though
