The food was so delicious! Oh my god the food was rich! The sauce was saucing! Everything about it tasted divine and I was gobbling it up. Dare I say brought me back to life lowkey?!The service was also great, everyone was so nice and attentive. They weren’t messing around. It was a longer wait for our food but that’s because the pasta was so fresh. So have patience!!!!The ambiance was gorgeous! It’s a long hallway and feels very romantic and intimate. We had the back booth and it wanna lay claim to it. Can’t wait to come back! I had the fettuccine Alfredo and that’s all I could ever ask for is a good one.
Words can’t explain how delicious the food was. Omg !!! Adding that I love pasta, and here the past is delicious.I went to this place with my best friend, we are always looking for small cozy restaurants where we can talk and have a nice time.Starting with the bread and pesto sauce to the dessert.Food was 10/10 - I ordered spaghetti carbonara and added chicken. My best friend ordered Scampi spaghettis. The taste of the spaghetti was inexplicably delicious. We also had burrata and fried calamari as entries, drinks and chocolate cake with ice creams dessert. The service was beyond expectations. We will definitely be going back to this place.
Food was tasty and service was excellent. Definitely recommend this place.
Came here on a Saturday night, restaurant was a bit busy, so took about 15min to get a table for party of 4 ready. Atmosphere was great, had a casual but semi-formal feel. A nice spot for dinner.Food was good - only complaint was the chicken that was added to our pasta was dry. Dinner was served with some garlic bread which was nice. For appetizer we ordered the fried calamari which came with some shrimp. We ordered the Agnolotti di Formaggio, Spaghetti alla Carbonara, Linguini Frutti di Mare, Orecchiette Baresi. All of the pastas were cooked well and the sauces were all great. Finished with a tiramisu for dessert.
This was a very unorthodox Italian place. My friends and I went for restaurant week around Harlem. They had a fixed menu with 3 courses for a great deal. The server was very informative and gave great drink recommendations. The music was different, a lot of 70s of all types of genres. Theres also disco balls up top which was different. It didnt feel Italian but the prices were incredibly reasonable and the food was stellar so I will be back.
Your garlic bread doesnt match your photos at all. 2 small, thin pieces of bread for $7 when you order from uber eats is absurd. The pasta and portion was fine and cooked well but pretty bland, had to add our own seasoning.
Have been coming here for a over a year and it’s the best Italian spot I’ve been too. Service is always great! The atmosphere is unmatched, makes you feel like you’re somewhere else. The food was really good last night, it was our first time trying frito misto and don’t regret it. I still have yet to try their brunch, but that will be for my next visit!
Wow! The barbabietole salad is a must, and all good appetizer and pizza and pasta options. Tiramisu! Good service, We’ll be back.
Super good food. Wonderful service!! I loved this place. I highly recommend. Go here.Get the fussili and mushroom dish. Such fun people. The environment here is great. It was a great escape 💓💓The server was so sweet. He let us have our dog hang with us at the outdoor seating and even brought her water.
This is NOT commercial grade Italian food. This food does not come in prepacked plastic bags shipped in from someplace in New Jersey. This is real food folks. The atmosphere is cozy. The service personalized. The food ultra tasty! I had the spaghetti and meatballs, great. Fried calamari, delicious coating and not overly chewy. So if you feel like a little Italian something then drop into Nicciola. Ciao.
I happened on this place, and I cant believe it. If it were in Midtown or the Village or Bushwick, it would be getting reviewed by the Times, because this is some of the best Italian food I have ever had in NYC. Believe it.
Had a retirement dinner for a co-worker..Everything was GREAT!we had the back patio, and service for our guess for 50 ppl was great and very friendly.. no complaints! My coworkers were very happy with our drinks and dinner package for the retirement.FOOD WAS DELICIOUS!!!!!Love the place Highly recommend!!
What a gem! I rarely write reviews but this place deserves it. Tiny spot, easy to be overlooked up here in East Harlem. However, if you are into great service, perfectly prepared authentic Italian food, great wines and some jazz - stop right here. Would be a success even in Roma, Venice or Milano. I had Caprese, Carbonara and a glas (well, actually two) of Montepulciano. Made my day. Glad that I found it. Gracie, Nocciola.
Nice Italian restaurant with beautiful atmosphere. Service is nice. Food is generally good but not everything is great. I liked the octopus and the calamari, but not so much the pasta and the arancini. Reasonable prices 10-20$ per plate.
Nocciola is such a great restaurant! We live in the neighborhood and we never thought we would find this gem in the area. The food never disappoints and the servers and manager are always very attentive and accommodating. My bf and I choose a different plate when we go and have worked our way through the entire menu. Seriously, do yourself a favor and go so you can enjoy this family owned restaurant and see exactly why they have been around for a decade. You will not be disappointed. It’s our favorite date night local spot.
Delicious food, amazing service, and reasonable prices. I solo dined at the bar & the staff made me feel incredibly comfortable. I will absolutely be back and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone!
This is our(family) FAVORITE spot drinks, food is always delicious. We welcomed this 2024 over at Nocciola with my family love this spot and the owners are amazing people.
What a nice place!!!! Food was on point ✔️ service was on point ✔️ beautiful environment ❤️ and the prices are very affordable… we definitely coming back 😄
The sounds of diners and workers is so loud that it is hard to relax. Nothing muffles the noise. The food was freshly made but didnt have the intensity of flavor that is authentic Italian. The staff was lovely and professional.
Cute spot with good service. Menus are on iPads with picture descriptions. Music playlist was on point. Their lemonade is so good. They give you focaccia and a pesto dip to start which is amazing. Food is good can’t really go wrong with any item.
Incredible! Linguine frutti di mare was to die for. Good wine selection and reasonably priced bottles. Attentive waitstaff, cozy vibe with tasteful music selection. Will definitely be back.
I ordered the branzino which was supposed to be the better of the two fish entrees and quite honestly I was pretty disappointed. The fish was watery. Potatoes were over cooked (hard). The zucchini noodles were watery. The apps were delicious though I got the burrata. It was amazing. So was the bread and the pesto
With so many Italian restaurant options in NYC, it was hard to choose one. But were glad we chose Nocciola. I went with two coworkers and we all really enjoyed ourselves. It was a very charming, little restaurant. The music was fun, although a little loud. I got the calamari saltati and it was one of the best dishes Ive ever had. They were out of the ribeye but my coworker and I got the NY strip steak and werent disappointed. The herbed vinaigrette was like a wonderful chimichurri. This will definitely be a stop next time Im in in NYC.
This is my familys favorite place in East Harlem. We have never had a meal there that was less than AMAZING. The staff is wonderful, the food is outrageously delicious, the ambiance is cozy, and the prices are always so reasonable. I cannot recommend Nocciola highly enough!!
Served nice and hot!!!
I ordered salmon take out from here, and it was amazing! I can eat vegetables and the were nice and accommodating and were able to substitute potatoes for me! It came with a very yummy mustard sauce and was also still hot when it got to my house! 10/10
This was an amazing place to stumble upon for dinner. The food and service were incredible. I had the arancini balls and gnocchi. Both were delicious! It is a small restaurant and seems to be family owned. very friendly service. I will absolutely be back
Food was great. The small portions are great if you do a 3 course meal. If you are very hungry go for the large portion. Waiter was very attentive. They offer bread but only one piece at time. Which may feel a bit strange, but it was best for me, as less food is waisted/consumed. I went with my 7 yrs old daughter and the staff accommodated her, substituting the pasta of pasta of her choice with the one listed in the menu.
WOW! The service was excellent and the food amazing. We found this gem walking in Harlem and stopped on a whim on our last night in town. So impressed. I got The risotto and he got the seafood fettuccini. So good and the bread and pesto is beyond delicious.
The food and service is incredible. I come here often and try something different every time and it is consistently wonderful. They just added a new brunch and bottomless mimosa menu and its so reasonable for price. I love everything about this restaurant. I love their gnocchi and fresh house-made pasta. Thank you, Nocciola!
Great gourmet stuff. Mix of Mexican and Italian flavors. Visited it back in 2016 and still keep good memories
Went there by myself on a Friday night and there was a few people left. Both service and food was great, very attentive service staff they really make you feel welcome. I had the Potato gnocchi with lamb and was able to eat it even though I dont like lamb and never had it before and I also had the punking ravioli it was ok not fan of it, it was chewy and seemed in a pool of butter. The steak was great same for the Brussels sprouts.Love this place I always eat here when in the neighborhood. 🤗
The waiters were kind and friendly. The food was BELOW average. My partner and I ordered the burrata which was way too oily. As a main dish we got penne alla vodka with chicken. The sauce was flavorless, it had absolutely no kick or creaminess to it and the chicken was tough and flavorless as well. The chefs in the back should taste their own food.
One of the best Alfredo pasta Ive ever triedThe service is exceptional, very friendly and professional.the atmosphere is pleasantI felt very good here, I recommend it.
Consistently one of the best restaurants in the city. The staff is wonderful, and the food is absolutely delicious. Personal faves: cavetelli al funghi, burrata, the holy grail that is their pesto, and the salmon with the grain mustard sauce. Everything is perfectly made, down to the Cesare salad’s dressing. Insane attention to detail in this menu. Hope to see many more years of Nocciola!
I love the food, I love the restaurant style, staff are amazing.
I love Nocciola food is amazing. One of best fresh made pastas. Love the arugula salad and Brussel sprouts. Desserts are also home made. Always crave for more. Angel and Antonio give the best service. Always a pleasure to visit. Great food and great service.
This was an unbelievable experience. We got to have the amazing fresh pasta with fresh ingredients and great service! With the Parpadelle Ragu I was transported to my grandmothers recipe and that was really an experience definitely worth coming back for it!The starter was an roasted beet with cheese and it felt that that the beets were overly sweetened and the amount of cheese to balance it out wasn’t enough. The service was friendly and they even closed they main doors and windows when we arrived because it has started to get cold, so for that we got to enjoy better the experience!I feel a decent to strong 9 on this restaurant definitely coming back
Nocciola is an East Harlem institution. This is a very special place in the world. Every customer at Nocciola is receives V.I.P treatment. Owner Antionio is ther real deal when it comes to knowing his customers and providing world class Italian cuisine. The bar at Nocciola is a cultural mecca of East Harlem. Antonio and his staff have created a space for all to come and enjoy good food, friends, holidays and events. I travel to Italy often. Nocciola is serving dishes on the level of the best places in Milan and Naples. This place is a gem, everything quality and made with love. Nocciolas linguini/spaghetti vongole or shrimp scampi is the best in NYC. If you are looking for the best Italian food for a good price with the outstanding service come to Nocciola, it simply is the best in class. Antonio makes beutiful artisan mixed drinks that customers love. Everything is made with love at Nocciola, its a family place with a great vibe. Daily specials are varied and delicious. Come to East Harlem come Nocciola- you will not be disappointed 🇮🇹 Oh, and dont forget the bangin Pizza 🍕!!!!!
Well, Harlem has changed a lot. I came from work and had on casual clothes. Sat down ordered some wine and got my appetizer. The place was mostly empty, just a couple of table full, then some young college kids came in and a few more couples. I NEVER received my entree, waited almost an hour. Unbeknownst to the manager, I regularly scout places to hold corporate events. This was the worst customer experience I have EVER had in a restaurant, he was not at all apologetic. I guess, you must be young and yuppie looking to get good service. Their loss.
Great food and great service!
Love this little place in E Harlem. I walked up from the UES for pickup. It took me about 25 minutes to walk home yet my tiramisu was still chilled and my spaghetti bolognese was still warm. Great packaging and everything was delicious as always!! I also get the arugula salad with shaved fennel- so fresh.
I love the food here! Great place to eat and relax.
Solid option for Italian food in East Harlem
Made Reservation for 10 was treated very badly people that came after us got there food and drinks! Waiter was nonchalant and act like he didnt care so after 45 minutes of only getting water an not the Pitcher of sangria we ordered we got up and left and took our business elsewhere. I wonder if i an my party was treated better if we were spanish. Last i check this still harlem will ever go back or any of my party . To make it worst its was my suster birthday ..we went to another place an was treated very nice . Lesson leaned.
I Really Really Enjoyed my dining experience at Nocciola. For the pass 3yrs, Ive noticed this restaurant, but never walked in. Its 1 of maybe 3 Italian restaurants in the E.Harlem area. Didnt think they would be good. Was I WRONG.First, the Service is truly first rate. Our waiter was Antonio. Very knowledgeable of the menu.We started w/simple appetizers, Calamari, bowl of Olives w/garlic/oregano, spinach & tomato salad w/shaved parmesan & Char Grilled Brussel sprouts. First time I had Brussel sprouts. To me, it mix of cabbage & broccoli.I had Orecchiette pasta w/sweet fennel sausage, broccoli rabe olive oil/garlic drizzle. The menu mentioned hot chilies, didnt see it. It was still GreatMy brother went safe, he got chicken cutlet parmigiana w/spaghetti. The chicken came w fresh sliced mozzarella slightly melted. Fried beautifully & juicy. My sister-inlaw went very exotic. She had Tagliatelle Neri w/mussels, clams & shrimp. I had to ask her for a taste. The pasta was black(neri) infused w/squid ink. Very Very Good. Wasnt really fishy. We had enjoyed all that w/a pitcher of red sangria. They did have white sangria w/black berries.Dessert was a huge piece of Tiramisu. Cake was light and the cream had hint of vanilla/anise. Though it was missing the lady fingers. Maybe crumbled on top would had been good. We also had a vanilla custard. It looked and tasted like a Tembleque, w/out the coconut taste.Im definitely coming back again, again and again. Cant wait to dine more often w/my friends & family at this location I found.
Amazing appetizers and entrees. The wine was really good also. Did not have enough room in my stomach for dessert. The wait service is attentive and friendly. The ambience is very nice. Will definitely be returning.
Quaint Italian restaurant in the heart of East Harlem. Scrumptious food and great friendly staff.
Beautiful little gem 💎 We had the meatballs for appetizer! Alfredo with chicken and chicken Marsala ❤️ highly recommend
Had such a great experience dining tonight with my partner. The service is fantastic and polite, atmosphere is very cozy and intimate. We got the shrimp scampi, Margherita pizza, brussel sprouts, tiramisu and some wine! This is the best scampi I have ever had. The lemon butter garlic sauce was so silky and flavorful but bright and light. The pizza was good, nothing crazy but we loved the thin crust and fresh tomato sauce. Brussel sprouts were ok. We also got free garlic bread with a pesto sauce to dip and it was also really delicious. The ingredients all tasted fresh!Tiramisu was also a hit, nice and creamy with the perfect balance of coffee flavor. Highly recommend this Harlem gem
Been to this place twice, both times i had a chicken caesar salad. I must say its great. And the bread they serve with the pesto sauce, oh boy delicious! I havent yet try any other plate from the menu.
I always order from Seamless. Everything from pasta to brazino to dessert are really great. Of course, I would say their desserts are the best (chocolate cake with vanilla gelato). The oil-based bread they serve is really fresh and soft.
The restaurant was a very nice surprise I did not expect the service the food the wine variety the ambience general atmosphere of the restaurant on 116th Street in the middle of Spanish Harlem as I said the food was excellent everything fresh the staff very attentive everything was taken care of nicely I am sure to go back many times
This place rocks take my son here all the time food is excellent and the price is just right for good quality cooked food
Ordered on Uber eats. I ordered the Penne alla vodka with chicken and shrimp, my shrimp & chicken was over cook, the pasta had no flavor. My asparagus was cook well but tasteless. This was my first time eating here, Perhaps you had an off day. It was not worth the money.
This is a real gem. Very good food at very reasonable prices. Attentive manager - good wines also at reasonable prices. Small with good - private atmosphere
Don’t ever try to place an order here. I got hung up on twice and must have talked to three or four people who kept putting me on hold. All I wanted was to confirm that my Seamless order had gone through and nobody could determine whether or not it had. After they hung up on me for the second time I called back and cancelled my order. Terrible service.
Omg I just got my delivery from this restaurant and I had to share! Spaghetti carbonara is such a simple dish but lots of ppl do it wrong, not Nocciola, best carbonara y had try in a long time!I need to go in this restaurant and try everything off he menu because if this one is this good Im sure they will amaze me even more with a risotto
This is my go-to restaurant whenever im craving italian and when i want a low key chill vibe. Their ravioli is my absolute favorite!
Worst “cannoli ever”Not even a cannoli
Delicious and cozy
Today I came back and like always service is really good I love the food they take the time to prepare but is worth it is a small restaurant which it makes it cuzy all I have to say come and experience it because is really good food and price
This is the worst representation of Italian food ever. The food arrived cold and with no seasoning and the wrong sauce. I had to recook and season it myself the only thing correct was the 2 cokes I ordered.
Great service and yummy food. Was expecting red velvet pancakes (like I saw on OpenTable)but not a part of their brunch menu.
Everything was great. My wife and I had a great time. We will be back
Nice staff, good food and service!
I had the Lemon Scampi, it was good but the shrimp still had shells so it was harder to eat.
Very enjoyable evening, appealing spot, great food, ample beer and wine selection (no spirits served) - rather marred by a massive TV that dominates the dining room.
I would give this place a 5 because its great the service and the food. I just wish they would serve a little more food. I am never quite full after I leave there.
Service was absolutely impeccable. Treated like a part of the family from start to finish
Great services and great food. Thanks guys.
Great cozy spot with amazing food and drinks for reasonable prices!! Went for brunch will definitely be back to try dinner 😋
Amazing food, great service and very hard to beat tiramisu
Good brusheta.
Amazing food and great service. Intimate place to take a date or just to have a nice dinner with family and friends
Highly recommended
The Service was great. The food was so tasty & good. The bread was out of this world.
Perfect.. romantic.. great food.. good staff.. mucis perfect. Again food was delicious.. will be returning soon.
Great vibes; relaxed atmosphere. Servers were attentive and the food was tasty and filling.
Some of the best homemade pastas and dishes I’ve ever tasted. The atmosphere is welcoming and cozy. Service was impeccable. Every dish was at minimum 10/10!
Great service and fresh, good pastas. The cheesecake was so freshly baked it was still warm!
This place has excellent service! Antonio was our waiter. The food was very good.
Nice Italian place with very reasonable prices for food and wine. Ravioli were particularly good.
Very elegantly cozy. Impressed with the service, menu selection, and delicious food. Will definitely be back.
The eggplant parm, tiramisu and cheese cake were very good.
Great food and service every time. Perfect low key brunch spot
Very nice hidden gem. Good quality food with great presentation and very fair prices
The service was amazing, and the food was to die for. Great spot for a first date
My favorite spot in East Harlem. Top ten in the city. Love the ambiance, their service, and food.
Food and ambience 👌🏾
Good eats and great atmosphere. Cozy with a nice bar to share a meal with a new friend.
We were a party of 5 and we had a great time.
Great food. Great wine. Goid service. Reasonable prices
The food was delicious with the wine how Im feeling so fine
Always a happy experience. Good food, welcoming staff, cozy environment.
The manager was great. Food was good and the atmosphere really cozy...small place but good food if youre in the mood for some Italian food....my fiancée didnt like the waiter bcuz it took 25 minutes before putting our order in...great place, check it out
Our second time here and both were amazing!! Will definitely be returning
I should have ordered the dinner portion. Half size left me wanting more. Delicious.
Literally made my Italian roommate cry with the gnocchi, incredible, really cute, great price for handmade pasta
The food was delicious and the service excellent.
Very fresh pasta dishes with a good wine selection and good service.
My 3rd time ordering from Nocciola and each meal was very good.
Great service and decent food at affordable prices.
Excelent food and wine... Nice servers and good chef!
Gem of a place in East Harlem. Good price, better service, and incredible food.
Nice Italian restaurant on the UES. Great selection of pasta dishes
Excellent good and ambiance.
A great atmosphere with an ambience chic, modern and the exposed brick gives it a plus. A cute bar area filled with wines, but the owner is very accommodating if you desire a special drink.Food is amazing, especially the grill calamari. When in Spanish Harlem, one must stop in and have a taste of the delicious cuisine.
What a great discovery for us right in our own neighborhood! The service was exceptional. The food was delicious! We even enjoyed live entertainment! A guitarist/comedian was invited by the restaurant for about an hour. What an unexpected treat. Definitely returning to Nocciola. We loved it.
I love this restaurant the food and the service is so good.
Outstanding little Italian place. Best spot in neighborhood for sure.
Super sweet people waited on us and served so quickly the most wonderful pink mojito, grilled calamari dish and fresh ceasar salad. We were so relaxed after a long day and enjoyed all of the music they played, singing along to most of the songs. This place is on the same block that my daughter will be living. I told her if she were ever in trouble on the street she could run in there and Im sure they would help her. This is a neighborhood treasure!
Had guests from out of town who wanted good Italian. Food was wonderful all around. Lobster special was delicious. Liked that they had both small and large portion choice. Service was exceptional and nice cozy ambiance! Will go back for sure!
COVID REVIEW!I randomly went here yesterday after work. Outdoor seating is really small and cute. They didnt really have much to choose from, however the ROSE wine is REALLY good. I loved it. My waiter was very nice by the way as well. 5 stars for service. I will be back to rate the food.
Nocciola is one of my familys all time favorites. Its one of the few places that all five of us can agree on and be excited about. The ambiance is beautiful and the staff is attentive and generous. The food- I can barely begin to describe it. I consider myself to be quite the connoisseur of pastas (though Im only able to cook frozen ravioli), eating a minimum of three pasta meals out a week and Nocciola is tied for my number one spot for pasta and has remained that way for years now. I would highly recommend this place.
I’ve been here a few times now. Service is always very good. Bread and their pesto sauce is fantastic. I like their fettuccine Alfredo, very nicely done. I was there for brunch last time and almost ordered the waffles with strawberry and blueberry and maple syrup but I was feeling savory and went with my fav, the Alfredo. My daughter had a smoked salmon and fried egg dish and ate all of it. This is her “the locals know about this one” place. My only complaint? How about just a plain dinner salad on the menu?! I know serving a handful of weeds is the latest but sometimes just give me a romaine salad.Accommodating to vegetarians.I’ll go again.Thought I took a couple of pics but can’t find them.
Just stumbled upon this place on a cold night. Food was great, menu was interesting and atmosphere was nice with an interesting decor. Prices were very reasonable.Service was friendly and efficient though never rushed. If you are in the neighborhood it is definitely worth a visit.
Excelent italian food
I wanted a quick bite right before I go see my dentist. Their breakfast selection is tasty and came fast. I had crepes with turkey and bacon and a waffle and mimosas! Great service. Liz was awesome!! Thank you!
Really good food served by a friendly waiter
Very good Italian food and excellent service. They changed the menu slightly as well. The pasta dishes are all worth trying.
This is my 2nd attempt for review. My first review last week was not posted. My daughter took me out to eat at this restaurant and she was so happy to just treat me. It was our first and last time. We were seated at the front table inside the premises which had a water ceiling drip on my daughters head… when I brought to the attention of waiter, although he apologized, nothing was done to resolve the matter other then saying they are working on resolving the leak… we should’ve been relocated. Daughter asked for a dish shown online but waitress said there was no such dish. We then ordered spinach ravioli with garlic bread and one side order of potatoes. The ravioli dish was a bit strange as it had a creamy white sauce that was not very appetizing. I was hesitant on eating the dish but forced myself as I did t want to offend my daughter as it was her first time treating me for dinner and didn’t want to offend her. However, we ate it. Garlic bread was burnt, side order was served after 30 minutes after main dish was served and only because I reminded waiter. Potatoes were nothing but plain and ordinary baked potatoes… only thing that we enjoyed was the watermelon non alcoholic beverage… couple of days later, my daughter and I got intestinal issues.. we traced this back to this restaurant as we haven’t ate out for more than a week so we know we got sick from the food.. which one? I don’t know… we won’t be returning and won’t be recommending this place. It’s unfortunate.
Good food. A little pricy. Staff very friendly. I would eat here again.Since my review I’ve had a number of meals here. It’s become one of favorites. The pesto sauce they bring out with the bread is delicious!I just tried to eat here for lunch but found they were closed. I was disappointed but found another nearby place to try out.
Awesome food and great wine selection.
I’ve lived in Harlem for 15 years and only recently decided to stop in- why did I wait so long? The servers are extremely attentive, the food has yet to disappoint. Although, my fiancé states his chicken Marsala is better… I think he just go used to his own 🤣 the Prosecco cocktails are so tasty!! Bellini andThe music is super romantic and calm! Super amazing date night each time!
Excellent service and accommodates well. Beautiful atmosphere.
We had an art & dip & it was great!
Love their food and Italian Mojitos!
The food is amazing and the service is superb. Antonio goes above and beyond to provide the best service and has excellent knowledge on the menu. I can’t wait to come back
Food was delicious and the happy hour sangria very tasty and strong. Very cozy and welcoming environment as well. I will definitely return.
One of my favorite restaurants! The food is amazing and the staff is really nice and knowledgeable. Great atmosphere!
Unassuming charm from street level view. Staff was friendly and efficient. Food was excellent and well priced. We went there once and will be back.
Everything is divine. The service, food, and the place itself is absolutely perfect. I did my 15 years party here and it was wonderful and calm. I recommend it to anybody (:
This was the worst place Ive ever ordered from. My husband and I both ordered large portions of the butter squash ravioli and the wild mushroom pasta. Both were served in a POOL of oil. I only got 8 pieces of ravioli and it was gross and under flavored. Never ordering from this place again. Such a horrible experience. So expensive for such little portions. Horrendous! The picture is exactly how it looked when it was delivered. 😡
Friendly staff, delicious calamari and octopus. Decent happy hour.A quaint bar and small restaurant, perfect for a small group of 4.
Best restaurant in Spanish Harlem. We had the polpette and grilled calamari for appetizers then Branzino, gnocchi in lamb ragu, and the steak .Bottle of Pinot Noir. Delicious 🤤..
Very nice atmosphere and back patio. Really good focaccia and pesto olive oil sauce!
Great overall experience. Waiters were attentive, music was lovely and the food was top notch. Me and my wife had a lovely experience. Will go again.
First time at Nocciola I had a good time it was my boss40th Birthday party 🥳🎈
Got the frutti di mare and it was very good
Food is very good. Good price.
The food was great n the atmosphere was beautiful
Awesome restaurant..great hospitality from the staff there..
Great atmosphere, great service, great food and sensible pricing. Definitely would return.
BEFORE COVID.This place is the spot to have a great time with your family and wifey and the food is amazing. The staff is incredibly attentive and friendly. I would recommend the spaghetti alla carbonara and the tiramisu is the best around the area.
They are very kind, the service is great, and the food is amazing especially for the price.
My brother, who was visiting from Puerto Rico with his family, had eaten at this restaurant during a previous visit to NY. He asked the “NYers” to meet up for dinner and suggested this place since it was sort of midpoint between where he was staying and where we live. We were a party of 13. At first I was skeptical about an Italian restaurant owned and operated by Mexicans, or at least I think they were Mexican. Boy was I wrong! From appetizers to dessert, food was outstanding and so fresh. Prices were just about average. Service was just a little slow, but I actually appreciated not being rushed and having the time to enjoy the food and conversation without having waiters pulling plates out from under you before you even finish. The customers, white, black, Hispanic, all seemed very satisfied. I plan to return to try the branzino fish my brother has highly recommended. The restaurant is not very big but is quaint and clean.
Nocciola is my partners and I favorite neighborhood restaurant. We are here once a week, AT LEAST!The food is fantastic, they offer great portions and I always leave satisfied. The variety amongst all three courses are well-rounded and you will get addicted to their bread and pesto! Decent dessert too, though we dont always have room for it after an amazing meal.My favorite part about Nocciola is the service we get. Always kind, courteous and consistent! My favorite entree is a combination of a small order of butternut squash and meatballs to pair with a soft piece of cremasco! While I dont drink, Im almost positive its wine and beer only! Just a heads up!Buon appetito!
The lamb ragu with gnocchi was super tasty and the servers were very attentive. I will definitely want to come back here
Best place to relax and get good wine
Service was superb and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Definitely recommend!
Second visit. Wine only. Tasty food, reasonable prices. Pasta offered in both small and large servings.
Yum i love italian food everything is cooked from the heart just like the culture loving warm and inviting
Brunch at Nocciola isnt nearly as fabulous as dinner there, but still good. I think I expected something a little more Italian given their name and their dinner menu, but lots of menu choices and decent mimosas.
Been coming here for a while. The food is excellent. The pasta dishes are great. Try the Carbonara and the broccoli rabe with sausage. They also have a great wine selection.
Excellent service and exceptional food for a great price. Id definitely return. A cozy and romantic place.
Food was a m a z I n g. Dressing of the salads 🤤
I have been here several times trying different dishes each one has been excellent. I especially like the Branzino, made to perfection.
Service was actually impeccable but the food was only *meh*.. Chicken breast was rather dry and Im pretty sure the Panna Cotta tasted like the fridge.
Ambience food great menu knowledgeable polite wait staff
Waiter didnt really understand the order... steak came out rare after being ordered as medium, pasta came out cold. They did how ever comp for the order being wrong.
Everyone was super nice!
Nice Italian Joint in East Harlem at decent prices, sticked to a classic Italian Spaghetti and meatballs, which was good, ambient was nice and warm, music played by Sinatra, Dean martin, Nat king Cole fits the restaurant theme, although it feels more french-ish for me than Italian , but i would come back to taste other foods, but still great Italian food.
The food and staff are great!

I ordered here several times with no complaints but today I was sent a burned Margherita pie and not only was it cold it also took 2 hours and I wasnt even offered no compensation I still paid for the pizza and gave a tip but Im very disappointed today I dont think Ill order again thats why I gave it 1 star and if I could Id give no star
Extremely high quality food and service.
The setting is very nice and there is a good happy hour menu, but they messed up our order and I can safely say that their Caesar salad was the worst Ive ever had.
We loved everything we ate.
