Amazing customer service, our waiter was so welcoming and kind and made our experience here amazing - stopped in with a friend on our way home for a glass of wine each and couldn’t be happier to have found this gem! I go back and fourth to Paris frequently to visit family and this place is very reminiscent of cafés there 🍷✨

I had an excellent experience at VSV midtown, the staff is exceptionally attentive and very kind. I really enjoyed the grilled octopus, selection of cheeses and cromesquis. The atmosphere really resembles one of an authentic French bistro and the staff is highly educated on wine options.

Wonderful, simple French classics and broad wine selection. Great for a quick bite or a date. We miss its predecessor, whose mussels were better (they used all that cream) but youre a fine stand in.

I really wanted to like this place, because of its cute atmosphere but a lot of things worked against it. First three of us arrived but they didn’t want to let us sit at the table until the last frothy person arrived. Mind that I was two elderly ladies. So we had to stand at the bar. And the restaurant was pretty empty at that time and the table was ready. Then they didn’t have fish only one was on the menu and they said they were sold out (at 6pm?!) LIES! One of my friends was pescatarian. So this was very disappointing. Their steakOf poivre was okay (what I ordered). The waiter was so confused and lost in space. We asked for a bottle of red wine and after pouring wine in our glasses he went to pour the same wine bottle to the people that were sitting next to us. One of my friends ordered mussels and they came without any soup at the bottom of the dish. So we had to complain. Then they didn’t have birthday cake candle for my friend’s bday. Then they served my (pescatarian) friend first glass of wine what costed $15 then second one was $30 (different wine) without pointing out the huge price difference. We didn’t realize until the bill came. Place has no manager. We had a lot of complaints that evening. He/They didn’t even bother to offer us a complimentary dessert or a drink. Totally clueless. Will never go back.

We’ve been walking past this place since they opened a year or so ago. We finally got around to stopping in and wow! We were not disappointed! We were seated in a wonderful corner booth, with all the vibe and charm of a bistro in Paris. We started with a glass of Champagne, like ya do. Then on to an appetizer special, beef bourguignon inside of potato and fried. Delicious! Then on to the escargot, traditional and did not disappoint. The bread selection was fresh and also wonderful. We had the moules frites as our main, also delightful. We capped off this delicious meal with the profiteroles to finish. Perfectly executed, just sweet enough without feeling heavy.Well done, to all the staff of this lovely little bistro. You have now replace our former favorite down the street. We’ll see you again soon. We’ll want the same table, to be sure ;)

Me and my friend went to this restaurant yesterday night and had an amazing full experience, and honestly we were not expecting it!!Everything was amazing, the service Victor gave us was super nice, gentle and very special. I apareciste he spoke French with me so I could practice. The menu is tipically french and we found it really well selected dishes.Beeing honest I was expecting more from the Bomero, I used to eat it in Paris and there they didn’t add the sauce and they put a little bit of the bomero meat on the top adding also sea salt. But it was nice !The onion soup was amazing ! I like that they change the bread basket twice without any question , that’s really kind. The wine selection was 10/10, as it was too the profiteroles and the allongé that I love that just French can do !! And can’t forget about the aged 30 years wine we taste !! Fuuuuuull experience !!!Thank you so much to the team !We’re coming absolutely coming back!

Grilled octopus was cooked perfectly. Onion soup was ok, cheese shell was so hard that I could not pinch a hole. After this difficulty, soup underneath was great. Chocolate mousse was not too sweat, with enough flavors to make a great dessert. Overall, this place provides one of the best deals in NYC

Cute place. The leek, chestnut and potato soup was delicious. The ribeye steak was really good. The chicken was bland; probably would’ve helped to get the sauce that accompanied it on the table. (it was at some point during the meal placed on the next table without so much of a mention). our server was very kind, but probably had just started and was not very efficient (did not know what was in the dishes and brought the sauce for the steak out five minutes after she brought the steak).

We had an amazing dining experience at Vin Sur Vingt Bistro. It is located in a charming, intimate setting. All of the food was outstanding from the table bread to our entrees. We marveled at our server Jimmy’s skill and expertise. He has earned our ‘waiter of the year’, he was efficient, friendly and attentive - a true professional! We can’t wait to go back!

The latest addition to the VSV family, this new location continues to deliver top quality service, immaculate food, and of course a rare selection of French wines. I have eaten here twice since January 2023. The first time I shared the Cote Du Beouf and the œuf meurette both of which were excellent and are menu staples. This time I had the beouf bourguignon and my wife had a truffle gnocchi which was a special. Both were delicious. For dessert their tarte tatin and chocolate mousse do not disappoint. The owner Sebastian can often be seen flirting about the restaurant tending directly to guests. Despite his commercial success he has not forgotten the soul of hospitality. We will be back and soon!

Incredible summer night dinner! Everything was cooked to perfection and we felt very taken care of. The escargot is better than I’ve had in France and I highly recommend ordering the sides. We sat indoor/outdoor but it’s not set up where you feel you’re in the mix or in the way of the restaurant flow. Every seat in the house is like its own little intimate dining corner.

Having visited the West Village location numerous times I had an idea of what I would find at the midtown location. Wine was great and served with style as always. I went for an entree and main plate (a salmon special). The food was not to my liking and found the presentation to be haphazard - the kind of mistake I would make in my kitchen.Ill pass it up to my need to communicate better what I want when ordering. I still have very positive memories of my prior visits to their other locations.Stick with the menu and avoid anything special. I was feeling impulsive and suffered the consequences as a result.

If you want to feel like you’re in the best parts of Paris, this is the place. The food was impeccable, service so helpful and pleasant, and the most charming atmosphere. I only wish I could come here more often (and for breakfast). We had the moules, pork chop, charcuterie, and a bottle of wine. All were perfectly put together. There were no duds or empty mussels, the bread was fresh, the fries were perfectly salted. Looking forward to coming back!

If youre looking for an amazing cotes de boeuf restaurant experience with a great selection of wines and a delicious menu, then look no further than Vin sur Vingt. A classic French restaurant with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The menu features succulent cuts of cotes de boeuf, as well as a variety of other French dishes such as steak tartare, escargot, foie gras, and more. The wine selection is equally impressive, featuring classic French vintages from some of the countrys top winemakers. Whether youre looking for a romantic dinner for two or a special occasion, Vingt is sure to please.

This is also a good restaurant recommended by locals. It is located on 51st Street. It is a very delicious bistro. This time we ordered mussels and side dishes, which is considered our late night snack. But this late night snack is very good value because of the food. To the authentic French cuisine. It can be mentioned that his steaks are not expensive. We went there again the next day, and the service staff were all Michelin restaurant-level, which was really great. 100 points of dining enjoyment...highly recommended, highly recommended

Cute little, authentic French bistro with typical French decor. The waiters are mostly French and read your wishes from your lips. The menu only offers French wines - these have a very fair price-performance ratio (of course there are other drinks too). I will be happy to come back and can also recommend the bistro.
